Jewel disengaged from the hug

“Why are you here? It’s late” Jewel said,avoiding his eyes

“I was thinking about you,and I found myself running here before I could stop myself” Adrian replied

“Don’t do that again,just because you’re the crown prince doesn’t mean you can go to people’s house anyhow you want,you don’t have to show off.. it’s annoying” Jewel said

“I told your granny you’re my friend,I didn’t even tell her who I am,you think I am someone like that?” Adrian asked

“Then why are you here? Its annoying” Jewel muttered

“Are you really in love with him?”

“Yes I am,so stop trying to confuse me and face your girlfriend” Jewel snapped

She grabbed the flowers on the floor and walked away

Adrian’s eyes followed her and his heart broke into pieces

“Son” Granny Pina called from behind and Adrian turned

“I was about going” He let out a smile and bowed a little

“I guess you two have a problem” Granny Pina said

“I made her mad,it’s my fault” Adrian sighed

“It’s okay,Jewel is a really soft hearted girl. I’m sure she will get back to you soon”

“Thank you granny,goodnight” Adrian said

“Thank you”

“Wow,did you make that?” Adrian asked as his eyes went to the sweater made with wool

“Oh,that’s right,I made it. You like it?” Granny Pina asked with a smile

“Wow,it’s really pretty” Adrian muttered

“I made it for Jewel,I can make you one if you want”

“No it’s okay,you don’t have to stress yourself. But it’s really pretty,goodnight granny” Adrian bowed one last time before going out

Granny Pina smiled and stood up,she took the sweater and walked to Jewel room.

She was on the bed,deep in thought

“Jewel”

Jewel turned

“Are you okay? Is everything fine?” Granny Pina asked and sat down on the bed

“Everything is fine Granny” Jewel muttered and rest her head on Granny Pina’s laps,she began stroking her hair

“That young man seems to be an amazing person” She said

“He is” Jewel mumbled

“Who is he to you?”

“Nothing” Jewel replied

“Nothing? He came here and waited for you,and you called that nothing? Are you pretending or you’re just ignorant of what it means?” Granny Pina asked

“It’s nothing granny,trust me” Jewel said

“Anyways,He’s really a good person to me” Granny Pina said

“I’m sleepy” Jewel yawned

Granny smiled and continue stroking her hair silently

PRINCE ADRIAN’S MANSION**

Immediately Adrian entered the house,he walked straight to the cellar. He wasn’t feeling himself,he has been trying to convince himself against the fact that Jewel is really in love with Miguel,but now,hearing it from her made it really worst.

He sat down and immediately grabbed a bottle of white wine,he didn’t mind pouring it in the glass,he opened it and started gulping it down.

He could feel himself building some tears in his eyes.

He dropped the bottle after almost drinking half of it

Did he ruined his chance of getting her or she really fell in love with Miguel and not him? He was beginning to envy Miguel at the moment,he couldn’t stop thinking about her no matter how he tried.

Everything about her,gets his attention. He care so much about her that he would prefer getting hurt for her.

He wiped his tears and continue drinking trying his best to stop thinking about Jewel but her face keep appearing in his head.

“I think I’m going crazy” He muttered

NEXT MORNING>RHC**

Jewel sat down beside Saint and he grinned at her

“Are you really going to sit with me?” He asked

“No I’m not” Jewel replied

“You really love being honest” Saint muttered

“Have you seen Adrian today?” Jewel asked

“Should I give you his number? You can call him if you’re worried” Saint smiled

“I’m not worried,I’m just asking”

“He’s not in school yet,I don’t know if he’s gonna come. He wouldn’t answer my call either,I wonder what’s wrong with him” Saint sighed

Jewel nodded and stood up,she returned to her seat beside Iris

“I thought you’re planning to ditch me for Saint” Iris roll her eyes and Jewel laughed

“Such a wild thought” she said

“You look bothered,is something going on?” Iris asked

“I told Adrian I’m in love with Miguel…last night” Jewel replied and Iris nodded

“So,you finally made up your mind? And….it’s Miguel?” She asked

Jewel shrugged before nodding

“You are not sure” Iris said

“I am sure” Jewel replied

“You are worried about Molly right?” Iris asked

“I don’t want to talk about it Iris,you’re making me feel guilty already” Jewel muttered and looked around to see Leilani sitting somewhere else

“I wonder what’s wrong with her” Jewel sighed

“It’s weird,I tried talking to her but she snubbed me” Iris said

Jewel’s mind went to the drug again

As much as the evidence is right before her,she doesn’t want to believe Leilani would betray her that way.

Jewel stood up

“Where are you going?” Iris asked

“Leilani” Jewel replied and walked over to Leilani

“Hey” Jewel called with a smile And Leilani turned

She returned the smile

“Why are you sitting alone?” Jewel asked

“I just want to be alone” Leilani muttered

“Should I join you?….”

“No,I’m fine” Leilani said immediately

Jewel nodded

“If you need someone to talk to,you can confide in us. You don’t have to keep things to yourself,okay?” Jewel said

“I know,thank you”

Jewel smiled at her before going back to Iris

The professor came in after that

PRINCE ADRIAN’S MANSION**

Adrian released a light gr0aπ as the sun penetrated into his eyes

He managed to open his eyes after a while

He sighed out sleepily and moved on the bed,he grabbed his phone and checked the time,it’s almost Ten in the morning.

He rough his hair and wondered how he got to his room last night,probably one of the guards. He was really wasted last night but it didn’t solve his problem.

He got down from the bed and went into the bathroom

After taking his bath,he dressed up and left the room.

A guard was on his way to check on him

“Good morning your highness” He greeted

“Did you take me to my room last night?” Adrian asked

“Yes your highness,you were drunk” The guard replied

Adrian nodded

“Thank you,I’m fine now” He smiled and went downstairs while the guard followed.

They got outside and Adrian entered the car,he drove out of the house and headed to the palace immediately.

ELITE PALACE**

Queen Reina and King Czar were both in the King’s Chamber when Adrian came in.

“Good Morning Father” Adrian bowed

“Good Morning mother” He greeted too

“Why are you not in school?” Queen Reina asked

“I have something to tell you” Adrian replied

“Is it really important that you have to skip classes?” King Czar asked and Adrian nodded

“Have a seat”

Adrian immediately moved closer to them and sat down.

There was silence for a while

“Son,say something” Queen Reina said and Adrian sighed

“I…..I want to call off my engagement with Molly” He mustered the courage

“What?!” The two couple exclaimed at a time

“What are you saying?” King Czar asked

“I’m sorry father,but…I can’t do this anymore……”

“You think saying sorry to me will solve the problem?! What the h*ll are you thinking?” King Czar yelled

Adrian kept quiet

“Do you really know what this is? Do you know what is going to happen if Molly’s parents hear about this?” Queen Reina said

“I can tell them by myself if you can’t,I really can’t continue with the relationsh¡p,please try to understand me. Molly and I are not for each other…..”

“What do you mean by you are not for each other?……”

“I don’t love her,I tried my best to love her,but I can’t. The feeling is not there,Please call it off before it’s too late father….I’m begging you. I will do everything to….”

“The only thing you can do is by falling in love with Molly and nothing else” King Czar stood up

“Father….”

“That’s it!!” King Czar yelled and Adrian bite his l¡ps

He wouldn’t dare talk again when the king is obviously angry already.

King Czar walked to the inner chamber and the queen turned to Adrian

“Do you know what you’re saying at all? You know the rules Adrian,why are you acting so careless? Your father is angry already,you know what is going to happen if this matter rise Adrian” Queen Reina said

“I know,I’m ready to face the consequence,I will take full responsibility…”

“What stupid responsibility are you talking about?! Are you the king?! Your father will take the responsibility not you!! So get hold of yourself and stop spitting out rubbish!” Queen Reina yelled

“Can’t I just do what I want this time around? I’ve been obeying you all my f**king life,just because I’m the crown prince doesn’t mean I have to follow father’s steps too,I don’t want to get married to Molly,I can’t get married to someone I don’t love….”

“Your father and I never knew each other before we got betrothed but now we are doing fine,just believe it” Queen Reina stood up

“Can you please talk to father and stop adding to my wounds,you should understand me better mother,this is the first time I’m going against your decision,I know what I’m talking about……”

“You obey the King’s order and that’s final” She snapped and walked in too

Adrian stood up and walked out of the chamber,he met Jeff standing by the entrance

“Good morning your highness” He bowed

“I’m going to school” Adrian muttered and started walking

“Are you okay?” Jeff asked

“It’s obvious I’m not” Adrian replied

They got to the garage and Jeff opened the door for him

Adrian entered and Jeff also joined him

“I’m sure everything will be fine” Jeff said

“They don’t even wanna listen,especially father. I’m so down,I don’t know what to do. Can’t I just be with the person I want? Why must they choose a wife for the crown prince,it’s annoying” Adrian said

“You can’t do anything about it,you just have to keep trying to convince the king….”

“I don’t think he’s ever going to change his mind and it’s killing me already,Molly is just an headache to me right now”

ITALY**

Delilah was just getting dressed when she heard the door ringer

She dressed up properly and went to open

“Hey” Mateo grinned

“Morning” Delilah smiled and opened the door widely,letting him in.

“It’s my first time here” Mateo muttered looking around

“Why are you here tho?” Delilah asked and Mateo faced her

“Have you eaten breakfast?” He asked

“About ordering for…..”

“No don’t,I prepare a table for us…please join me”

Delilah nodded

“Of course,sure” she smiled

Mateo stretched his hand and Delilah raised her brows

“Let’s hold hands,aren’t we supposed to be dating here? Everyone think we are dating,so let’s keep it flowing” Mateo said

“Okay then” Delilah took her phone before accepting Mateo’s hand and they both left the room

RHC>THE LARGE HALL**

The students are all present,both royals and Diamonds. It’s a general lecture.

“There’s going to be a group work like I said earlier,we are going to have two students in each group. One from the royal class and one from the diamond class” The professor said and the students began to murmur

“You don’t have to complain,I sent the tags to your PCs already,check it out” The professor said and immediately the students started checking.

The list also became visible on the smart board and the murmurs increased

“How can you be paired with Iris? She’s going to kill you” Saint said to Francis who is sitting beside him

“So should we exchanged partners?” Francis snapped

“What are you talking about?” Saint scoffed

“You’re just jealous,but don’t worry,I won’t try anything with her” Francis smirked

Jewel was sitting beside Miguel,she exchanged glances with Molly and she shot her a glare

‘She’s so dumb’ Jewel scoffed

👥 It’s the crown prince!!

Immediately the students turned back as Adrian came in

Jewel turned immediately

‘Gosh finally he’s here’ She thought inwardly

“Can I change my partner?” Adrian asked and all eyes fell on him

A smile escape Molly’s l¡ps

“You really want to change your partner?” The professor asked

“I’m sure she want the same too” Adrian replied

“Is that right,Jewel?” The professor turned to her and there was silence

“Yes prof” Jewel finally said
