“Reina dear check who is at the door”
Grandma shouted from the sitting room.

“Okay Grandma!
I replied back with a shout of the kitchen.

I wiped my hands with the towel and rushed out to get the door.

To my greatest surprise it was Carlos,

“Hey beautiful Reina”
He said with smiles and represented a bouquet to me.

I collected it with smiles and said,
“Thank you!

“You are welcome! May I?

“For sure come in”

He went in,side,he rushed to granny at the moment he sighted her.

“Good afternoon Grandma Lolita”
He greeted with smiles and even k-ssed her palm.

“How are you doing Carlos?
She asked with smiles.

“Am good Grandma Lolita”

“Am not happy with you”
She sounded with a sad face.

“What did I do grandma?
He asked and glanced at me.

“Since your first visit with your parents you don’t want to come again until now and while coming you brought a bouquet to Reina your wife to be without buying my own or you think Grandma don’t like flowers”
She sounded sadly and I know she was not being serious just joking as usual.

I laughed and perceived the scent of the flower.

He held her hands and said,
“Oh Granny! Is that why you are sad? you don’t have to be sad okay,see I will be coming to pick Reina for dinner I will get you a special thing”

“Wow! Really!
She shouted and lightened up her face.

He said dinner,I have not agree to go out with him so why Is He sounding as if I have accepted the outing.

“Yeah! Something special you gonna like”
He sounded with smiles.

“I can’t wait to receive the special gift from my son in law to be”
She sounded rejoicing.

Why all this wife to be,son in law to be? I don’t understand Granny anymore,could it be she has started liking him already or is she pulling his legs?
I thought.

“Is that you Carlos?
Aunt Anne asked the moment she came out from her room.

He went to her and greeted,
“Good afternoon Aunt Anne!

“How are you doing and how is your parents?
She asked with smiles.

“Everybody is fine Aunt,I came to check on Reina to see if she will be chanced in the evening to go out with me for dinner”
He said.

I discut in.

“No! I don’t think if I will have chance because I have to deliver some food to my customers”
I lied.

One thing about my life is that I can not lie once I lied I will start sneezing all of a suddenly and I hate that part of my life so much.

Carlos looked at me confusingly and asked,
“Are you okay?

Aunt Anne laughed and said,
“She is okay,you know what she will go with you for dinner”

I sneezed again and ran out to my room,

“Aunt Anne are you sure she is okay?
I overhead him asked.

“As I said she is okay,let me go and talk to her”
She said and went up to my room.

“Why is it that you don’t want to go out with Carlos?

“I don’t want to go out with him because I don’t like him”

“Why will you dislike someone you just barely know?

“Aunt I just don’t like him and I got no reason to dislike him”

I know she gonna ask me my reason of disliking him which am not gonna tell her until I find something more important about him.

“Stop being exaggerated about him,I know once you get to know him you will got no reason to dislike him,Carlos is a good person and he came from a good home that’s why I want you guys to get alone”

“Aunt Anne can we make a deal?

“What’s the deal all about?

“Since you want me to get alone with Carlos and even marry him, if I prove to you the reason why I don’t like him will you stop me from getting marry to him and also stop talking about marriage to me until I decide on my own to get marry?
I said being so serious.

She kept mute rolling her eyes balls for some minutes probably thinking the deal.

“Aunt Anne what did you say?
I asked waiting to hear her response.

“Okay,An evidence that is very tangible to prove that he is not good for you then I promise to back off anything concerning marriage with you”

I stood up and brought out my palm,
“Tap my palm”
I sounded behaving like a kid.

“Okay!
She tapped my palm.

“Yeah! We just make a deal no going back,give me one week I gonna prove to you the type of man Carlos is”
I shouted.

She laughed and sounded,
“You will find absolute nothing because I have made a proper research about that family”

“Okay Aunt Anne let see how it goes then”

“Go down Carlos is waiting for you and you will be going to that dinner with him”

“No problem,I will go”

We went down and I went to him,
“Are you okay now?

“Yeah! Am fine”

“Okay but why the suddenly sneeze?

“Is not something serious okay,I want to tell you that I will be going to the dinner with you”
I said with smiles.

“Oh really?
He shouted happily.

“Yeah so by what time are we going?

“I will come and pick you by 5pm”

“Okay I will be waiting but as for now let me excuse myself i have delivery to do now”

“I came with my car,let me help you out”

“No,don’t bother i don’t want to stress you”

“Its okay beside is not a stress for me to help the one I love”

“C’mon allow the young gentleman to drop you”
Aunt Anne came and said.

“Okay,let me go and package them”
I said and went to the kitchen.

I know Aunt went me to be getting close to Carlos to make me like him as for me I like it too,it will also help to find out something ugly about him.

Done packaging the food,I took it out as he helped me to carry them in,side the car.

He went to Grandma Lolita who is always busy chatting with her phone.

“Grandma Lolita I will be going now”

“Don’t Forget about the special gift you promise me”

He smiled and hugged her.
“I won’t forget that Grandma Lolita”

“See you when I come back and enjoy your chatting with my grannies in laws”
I said laughingly.

They all brust out with laughs,I hugged granny and Aunt Anne before leaving the house.

Within thirty minutes,I was done with the delivery,Carlos brought me back home.

“I will be coming to pick you by 5pm for the dinner,don’t forget”
He said.

“I won’t forget that”

“Okay,take care my pretty Reina”
He hugged me.

I came down from his car and went in,side without turning to check if he has gone out.

“Vero did you by any chance see Matilda at the dancing hall or even at the cafeteria?
Elisa asked being so worried.

“No,I did not see her”

“That means she did not come for practice”

“Maybe it could be that she is still sad about the way I turned her down”
I said being so worried about her too.

“Yeah,that could be the reason why she did not come for practice”

“Am so worried about her right now,it’s all my fault she missed practice today,I think we have to go and see her when we are going back home”
I said.

“Okay,that’s the good thing to do”

As we were coming back from the cafeteria I saw Sophia Antonia girlfriend heading somewhere.

“Elisa look at Sophia I think she is going to meet that her secret lover”
I said pointing at her.

“We need to follow her immediately”

“Today I must expose her”
I sounded.

We followed her behind walking slowly and dodging from her to avoid seeing us.

We followed her to this unknown place that we have never seen In this school before,it an abandoned small house covered up with grasses,we hide behind a tree as the guy came out from the house.

We sounded in shocked.

She hugged him and k-ssed him,she checked around everywhere before going in,side with him.

“I can’t believe my eyes”

“Even me too,Antonia’ s friend,he gonna be so heart broken if he find out”
I said being so worried.

“I think we should not proceed with the plan,it will be so painful and heart broken for him”

“Did you know how long they will keep on fooling him so I think it is better we go on with the plan,I know it will hurt him but we still have to do it”

“Okay let’s go”

We walked slowly and got to the house,we peeped through the window and in,side the house was well furnished.

They are already on it,the stupid bitch mo-ned and s¢ræmed for more of it.

I brought out my phone and video them very well making sure that their faces were well captured.

We ran out from the place at the moment we were done capturing them.

“It still shock me Elisa,I find it so difficult to believe that someone you called your friend will stab you at the back by sleeping with your babe”
I sounded still shocked.

“Its so unbelievable Vero! How will you send him the video?

“I don’t know if I can be able to send it to him again”

“You have to do it okay beside it’s an opportunity for you to be with the one you love”

“Okay,I guess I have to send him message for us to see then I will show him the video”

“Its sounds good then sending it online,it will be the end of him and that daughter of a bitch”

“Are we still going to Matilda’ s house?
I asked.

“It depends if you still want to go”

I said.

We got a cab and gave him our destination.

The Traffic jam Is so bad in this area,I have been stucked on this traffic for two hours now and the road safetyagency are not helping matter at all.

I hope by the time i will reach there the match will soon be on,I don’t want him to think of me like unserious somebody.

Within an hour we were able to move,I drove very fast without asking question about the place since I have the location on my phone.

Thirty minutes later,I got to the stadium and I was so happy the match was still on.

I stood at the queue of people watching and having fun at the moment the match was over, I gave him a call.

I said with smiles.

📞 Okay,what are you wearing so that can be able to identify you?

📞 Am wearing black pant with blue shirt and black sneakers”

He said and I hanged up the call.

Some few minutes later,I saw him coming looking so more handsome from his pictures I saw,my heart started beating so fast.

He approached to me and asked with smiles,
“You must be Diego?

“Yes Am Diego”
I replied with smiles.

“It nice to meet you Diego”

“Its nice to meet you too Dylan”
We handshaked each other.

“I must confess you are Indeed a great football player”

“Thank you Dylan,I thought you won’t come again”

“The traffic jam was so bad that’s why I came on the half round”

“That’s bad but am still happy you get to see me on the field”
He said with smiles.

“Yeah am happy too,Did you have any plan today maybe we can go out and drink?

“Yeah,our team are celebrating for the winning maybe some other time okay”
He said with smiles.

He look more handsome when he smiles,
“No problem,some other time then”

A guy walked to us and said,
“Dylan the coach need to see you”

“Okay,tell him I will be with him shortly”

“Okay”
The guy went out.

“I guess I have to start going now,it’s my pleasure to meet you once again”

“The pleasure is all mine too”

“I will call you when you get home then plan when we will be meeting again”

“Okay I will be expecting your call then”
He said.

“I hope you won’t giving me a hug?
I asked with smiles.

He looked around everywhere with shyness written on his face.

“C’mon don’t be shy,is just a friendly hug and nothing more”
I said.

“Okay!

He hugged me we did not waste time before withdrawing from the hug.

“Bye!
He said with smiles and I keep smiling at him.

We made our way out,You know what they say if someone have feelings for you they must surely turn back to looked at you.

We turned back at the same time,stared at each other with smiles before we continue our way.

I got to the car feeling so excited and drove back home.
