Finally tomorrow, I was going to set out and go to Abuja and meet Miranda.. I had made every preparation ready for the journey but there was something I had to do first…
With the money, I’ve been getting recently I wanted to buy the perfect engagement ring for Miranda but I didn’t know which one I could get for her so I decided to ask Mrs. Evelyn to come help me choose one.
Later that day at work, I went to her office to seek her help.. Women have this knack of knowing what they all want, it’s more like they know each others want without even talking to one another..
As I entered her office she was busy rolling all over her chair as she stared at the ceiling, Looks like she’s not busy not the moment.

A while later, we left the Photoshop and went to a nearby Jewelry store, as we entered there.. I saw a lot of diamond rings in the show case.. I was so mesmerized by their look, one of these diamond rings will definitely look good on Miranda..
As I was about to ask the Staff to bring out the rings.. Evelyn grabbed hold of me.

Ben ➡ Trying to buy a ring… Is there a problem?

Evelyn ➡ Look Ben.. Diamonds are hærd to get.. And if you’re going to buy a real diamond ring.. You’ll have to collect a mortgage from the bank… Most of these diamond rings you see are fake, some are made out of Coca cola bottle glass.

Evelyn ➡ Yes… The real diamond rings are kept in a safe and secure vault for the rich and wealthy folks.. They don’t keep the real ones in display.. Diamonds are hærd to break.. But there ones here are easily broken.. You know how expensive diamonds are there’s no way, they’ll sell those diamonds in a cheap rate.. Like 100 to 50 k. The staffs here only persuade and fool the customers that these ones here are the real diamonds and you can never tell whether its real or fake.

Evelyn ➡ Buy the one that has no diamond broach on it… Wait.. Give me the cash and Let me get one for you..

Evelyn went and did whatever she was going to do.. While She was busy negotiating with the ring seller, I sat in a corner and waited for her.. Hours went by, still Evelyn was still terms and trade the the ringer seller.. Just when I thought it wouldn’t end.. Evelyn came back with a lovely silver ring.. It had a writing on it which said *My one and only.. I had to say, I would have preferred the diamond ring but this one wasn’t bad either..

As we were talking, Evelyn’s phone rang and she excused herself and went out.. As soon as she was out of sight.. Willis made a ridiculous request.

After that, they all left, I closed the door and went to my. Room to sleep.
The next morning.. I woke up early, had my breakfast and prayed to God for safe passage to Abuja. After that.. I left.. My luggage wasn’t much, the only thing on me was my bag and Miranda’s portrait.
I soon got to the Motor Garage and paid the transport to Abuja, After an hour of loading luggage into the boot.. We took off and drove straight to the FCT.
The journey wasn’t that exciting but I had my phone and snacks to keep myself busy.. The driver did his part by driving at High speed.. But that doesn’t mean we didn’t stop to get suppliers and ease and stretch ourselves. Before long, we had arrived at Abuja in the evening… Its been a while since I’ve been here and it sure looks a lot different than the last time, I came..
So after a while, I boarded a Taxi and asked him to take me to Miranda’s location.. As the driver drove through the streets of Abuja, I bought out my camera taking pictures along the way.. The city was really beautiful during the Night .
Soon, I had arrived at Games village and I went in.. I asked and checked the place where Miranda told me about.. I soon found the shopping mart thanks to one stranger.. As I got there, I looked across the street and saw a big house.. It sure was lovely.. This must sure be Miranda’s place..
As I crossed over, I went to the building, I knocked at the gate and seconds later a weary looking guy came out.. He looked more like a drunkard than a gateman.

He opened the gate and allowed me to enter.. I went straight to the main building and knocked at the door.. As the door opened, I saw Miranda, but instead of being happy, she did something I never expected.

After mom had settled me and Tina, life was a little bit back to normal.. Tina and I had settled our biff and we were sisters again.. She wanted me to be her P. A again but I told her I needed more time to be myself..
And as for my s€×y photograph which was online. Jim had helped me settle the issue after i told him who was responsible for my pictures being online. He announced to the media that my pictures was a breach of privacy which was caused by Olivia… The B*tch was sued to court and was asked to pay a fine and she was to apologize publicly that she was sorry… After that, she was suspended for a month by her modeling manager..
I sure laughed hærd as I saw her face.. I wished she was even fired from her job.. After that, The rantings about my picture ceased and people stopped treating me like I’m some kind of a wh*re.. But sponsors and other show biz agencies didn’t stop bugging me with their offers.. Well, 2 out of 3 ain’t bad.
As the days passed, I began to feel lonely and I was really in need of some company.. Ben said he was going to show, waiting for him to do that seemed like eternity..
So to avoid doing anything stupid.. I decided to entertain myself and make my life a little bit more fun by hanging with my Sister, Tina.
One evening, as I was at Tina’s place.. Olivia came in with another lady.. She greeted Tina and pretended not to see me..

And I know no one has Ben’s picture except me… So that’s proves her point.. God, why am I so unfortunate with men.
Minutes later , I had arrived home, I went in straight and fell on my couch.. I began to cry feeling angry and hurt.. I couldn’t believe Ben was like this.. I had hopes I was going to spend my life with him.. Well I blame myself, this is what happens if you fall for a man you met for a short amount of time.
As I sat on my couch brooding all alone.. I heard a knock on the door, i went and opened it and to my surprise… It was Ben..
He stood smiling at me, and he had something on his hand like a picture frame.
