Rosy couldn’t believe what her mother said it thought it was all a dream rather a prank.

She shouted angrily.

“Is time,the mother is here,you have to act as her fiance,I hope you know what to do?
She said to Ken at the moment she discovered what was going on.

“Her mother is here already! I thought you said she will be coming this weekend but is not yet weekend”
He sounded confusingly.

“Ken am even confused as you are,I don’t know why she decided to come today there’s nothing we can do she is already here so you have to try your possible best to carry out this job for us and please you should not let her to suspect anything”
She said.

“I know I have not done this type of thing before but don’t worry things will turn out perfectly well I assure that to you so what type of pet name does she like?
He said.

Ken breathed and mumbled.

He asked and approached to them.

Nelly also came out to welcome Rose’s mother,she hugged her and said,
“Welcome Mother,we thought you said you will be coming on weekend”

Peter smiled and said,

Ken laughed and sounded,
“Rose’s husband! You gonna be kidding me right! Babe you didn’t tell me you got a cousin brother”

Rose laughed and said,
“He is not my cousin,i don’t know this guy”
Rose was so impressed with his acting.

He shouted.

He laughed and said,

Her mother stood there with so much confusion running through her head.

Nelly and Rosy laughed out their ribs,Rosy said,

“Mother what’s going on here? Did you brought me here to be insulted by this guy or what? You told me that your daughter will like me then why all this?
He shouted angrily.

“Peter am confused too,Rose who is this man?
She asked.

Ken went to her and said with smiles,
“Forgive my manners Mother,the excitement of seeing you made me to forgot to introduce myself to you,am Ken Edward Rose’s finance”

The both shouted surprisedly.

“Mother what sort of rubbish is all this? You told me that your daughter is single and don’t have any man in her life then what am seeing now? Mother I left my business to come down here to meet your daughter only to found out that she have a fiance,no I won’t accept this type of disgrace”
He shouted.

She said.

He shouted angrily.

She shouted angrily.

They became so shocked of him especially the mother was more shocked he couldn’t believe that someone she did a thoroughly research about him turn out to be a tar_out.

Nelly shouted.

Peter brought out his dagger from his pocket and grabbed Rose’s mother,he pointed the dagger on her neck,they realized that things has become more serious than before.

They became so shocked and shouted,

He shouted angrily.

“How much did you want? Name your price we will give it to you just spare my mother”
Rose pleaded in tears.

He shouted.

“Please don’t kill her,we will give you anything you want but please spare her life”
Nelly pleaded.

He smiled to them and used the gate,they all went in,side.

She shouted at her.

“Am sorry Rose,I never knew that Peter was a criminal,I honestly did a thoroughly research about him and everything came out perfectly well”
He said.

“That guy is nothing but a gold digger thank God I was not in support of you bringing me a husband I could have ended up marrying a criminal that will made away with everything I have labored for,Mother I hope this has taught you a lesson so in your next world the idea of bringing a husband for your daughter will never come into your mind again”
She shouted.

“I will never try such thing in my life again but had it been you told me about your fiance I won’t have brought that criminal,i don’t know why you decided to keep it as secret”
She said.

“Mother it wasn’t her fault rather it’s mine because I told her not to tell you about me yet because I wanted it to be a surprise for you,we even planned to come next week and see you but you came”
Ken said.

She said with smiles.

“Mother let me take you to your room so you will freshen up and come down for dinner”
Rose said and took her to her room.

“How was the acting?
Ken asked.

“Wow! you acted so well,I can’t believe you can act like that,oh my goodness! your acting was awesome”
She said excitedly.

“Are you serious? I thought I didn’t put more effort on the acting”

“No Ken! the acting seems so real so awesome,you know what you need to be sign in the Nollywood Industry”

Ken laughed and said,

After having their dinner,Rose’s mother decided to know more about her son in law.

“Son how did you met my daughter?
She asked with smiles.

“What should I tell her? Rose didn’t tell me what to tell in case like this,what should I tell her now?
He thought.

He looked at Rose if he can get any thing but got nothing from her so he decided to tell her anything.

“Mother meeting your daughter was actually a blessing to me,we bumped into each other and you know what they say mother, when you bumped into someone you have bumped into love,we met at the restaurant and we bumped into each other again at the supermarket”
He said with smiles.

Rose looked at Nelly and said with smiles.
“Wow! Interesting!

“Interesting! So it was love that was bumping you two?
She sounded with smiles.

They all laughed,
“Yes Mother,it was love that was calling us”
He said.

“So how much did you love my daughter?
She asked.

Rose shouted.

She said.

Ken hugged her and said with smiles,

She stood up and said,

They all hugged her and said,

“You will be sleeping on this couch”
She pointed at the couch.

“How can I sleep on that couch? You will you be comfortable sleeping there?
He asked.

“We can’t share bed so you have to manage”

“No! I can’t manage,Did you think am not man enough to hold myself? or did you think sharing the same bed with you will lead to that thing that’s in your mind?
He said.

“There’s nothing in my mind”

“Then am sleeping on the bed”
He said and jumped on the bed.

“Okay since we will be sharing the same bed that means there must be a demarcation between us”
She used pillows and divided the bed.

“Like seriously! this!

“Oh Yes! there must be no crossing boundaries,stay on your lane”
She said, lay down and switched off the light.

“You can’t switch off the light,I can’t sleep without light on,please switch on the light”
He said.

“I don’t like the light on beside here is my house so you don’t have to decide what I should do”
She said.

“Please switch on the light,am scared of the dark”
He pleaded.

She laughed and said,
“How can a man like you be scared of the dark like a kid? Please I like my light off while sleeping,Good night”

“What sort of thing is this? How will I sleep with the light on?
He mumbled.

He lay down used the pillow and covered his face,folded his two legs including his hands.
