Episode 37
The next morning being Saturday, that was the day we were to return back to our base. We didn’t wake up early because we didn’t sleep early the previous night. We were busy expressing our feelings to each other, and we ended it with a hot, and passionate k-ss. I didn’t want to k-ss him at first, not because I was forming or anything but because my heart was filled with joy and gladness that he was mine and mine alone.
PAPA
k-ss me na. Please (giving me that baby face)
SAM
I just wanna look at you like this for a while. Your love is making me to even forget how to spell my name (he laughed hærd)
PAPA
That’s funny but thanks baby, your love is making me to forget i was once married. I laughed his very funny but truly that’s how I feel I sometimes forget how to spell my name all I could think of is love love love.
He brought his mouth closer to mine, his breath smelled so nice and fresh I couldn’t resist it. So I closed my eyes so I could even enjoy it more. We k-ssed like we have never k-ssed before, like our life’s depend on it.

BACK TO PRESENT DAY SATURDAY
We slept like we were not traveling that day again, it was a knock from the door that woke him up, I was busy still sleeping but not too deep so I could hear what they were discussing.
It was desmond mom I guess she has come for the stuffs I asked her to come and take.
I heard papa ask her to come in,side. “How are you Mrs johnson” he greeted her by her husband’s name. (my baby can do like Americans eeh). “Wait here while I get her for you” he said without even waiting for her to reply his greeting.
He came in,side to wake me up, but I felt shy to come out, what will she think if she sees me coming out from papa’s room still looking sleepy. Trust nigeria woman na she will think we have been s——g each other for long.
SAM
Baby why did she come this early na? I can’t go out side knowing she’s there, she might start saying or thinking something else. (he smiled)
PAPA
It’s already some minutes after 12 baby, and beside you are my fiancée so she can think whatever she likes. I still didn’t find it funny so I laid still. He just moved on the bed and carried me bridal style.
 
Episode 38
Continue from the last scene.
He carried me from the bed bridal style to the living room where Mrs joyce was waiting for me. She was shock to see us in that manner, the disgust was written all over her face, if looks could kill I would not be alive today telling you guys this story. She was so angry (it was written all over her face) papa put me down before her and said “Mrs johnson please meet Samantha Steve the woman I am about to get married to. Her shocker became even more bigger because her mouth flew open.
MRS JOYCE
What? Pastor are you seriously telling me you want to marry a second wife? (my love smiled)
PAPA
I didn’t mention a second wife Mrs johnson, I only introduce my fiancée to you. (she agape)
MRS JOYCE
I’m sorry, sir I wish you best of luck.
I could swear she was please, she looks at me with disdain and shake her head, I guess she was feeling sorry for me.
SAM
Please ma follow me to the kitchen.
She nodded her head and followed me, I show her all the things I wanted her to take. The turn to leave.
MRS JOYCE
Excuse me my daughter, you are a very nice girl, respectful and beautiful why do you want to be a second wife? That man has a wife dear.
I smiled, if only she knew she would be feeling sorry for him instead of backbiting him.
SAM
I know ma I just love him and I know it’s God’s will for us. She shake her head in pity for me but I didn’t care I just went back into papa’s room. When she was done arranging everything, she came and knocked at papa’s door.
MRS JOYCE
I’m through with it my daughter, I want to take my leave now.
I opened the door and came outside, papa too follow suit, he was going to the kitchen to make coffee for himself. He stopped mid-way and turn to Mrs johnson as he likes to address her “Mrs johnson our invite isn’t ready yet, but we be so glad if you can make it to our wedding” he said before entering the kitchen. I could see scorn in her eyes. She just faked it with a smile. She thanked me and then left. I went to the kitchen to meet my baby, I sat on the stool close to the kitchen door.
SAM
That wasn’t necessary and you know it.
PAPA
What? Telling her to are my fiancée or what?
SAM
Yes (not smiling)
PAPA
Common baby, I’m not ashamed to show the world how much I love you and want to spend the rest of my life with you. So it’s best if thet start getting use to it because very soon you will be Mrs Peter. (I  couldn’t help but giggle)
SAM
I’m so Hungary baby.
Episode 39
SAME DAY
He made lunch for us (noodles) we ate and went to take our bath separately. Around 3:15pm we left the house. Our trip wasn’t as boring as before, I didn’t even feel sleepy at all. He will pack every once in a while to k-ss me, (lolz, I like it too) sometimes to buy something, our journey that was supposed to last two hours lasted more than four hours because of excess love. We got to our base around 7pm people (church members) were waiting to welcome us. We greeted everyone then went to the church to pray. It was time to go home, then papa offered to drop me home, bro tobi refused saying papa shouldn’t border that he will take me home but my papa politely refuse. Well we didn’t show them any sign that we were in a relationsh¡p so they didn’t suspect anything. 35minutes later we were at the front of my gate.
SAM
Home sweet home, I really miss it here.
He smiled
PAPA
So you are telling me, you didn’t like the time you spend with me. (still smiling)
SAM
Hey, I enjoyed every second and minute of it, it was wonderful (beaming with smile). Let’s go in,side I will make dinner. He thought for a while, as if fighting with his inner mind to say yes or no. then he nodded his head “ok baby” i just giggle. we got into my apartment everywhere was looking fresh and neat, my maid that girl i just love her, how did she know i was coming back today i didn’t even inform her. i usher my baby in,side i checked her room(my maid) but she wasn’t there so i called her line. she picked at the first ring.
MARY
hey, anuty good evening ooh (sounding excited)
SAM
mary how are you na, how school?
MARY
anuty school is fine, i came home today but every looked dusty and unkempt, did you travel?
SAM
yes my dear, i didn’t want to border your studies that’s why i didn’t tell you. but i came in just now.
MARY
welcome, i didn’t know you traveled but i made your favorite pounded yam and vegetable, the soup is in the fridge while the fufu is in the food flask. i so much love this girl, she just saved me from cooking tonight.
SAM
thank you mary, goodnight
MARY
haba anuty i should be the one thanking you. for taking care of me and my poor parent. so thank you ma.
SAM
just thank God mary. bye (i hung up) i went to the kitchen and micro wave the soup then dish it for us to eat. after the meal it was already after 9pm i asked him to stay but he refused.
PAPA
you know tomorrow is sunday, i need to go home and get myself ready.
