“Dad why are you crying ” Meyer asked for the umpteenth time.

It hurts so much, so very much.

I can’t bear the thought that Myer isn’t my child.

I love her so much, I’m already attached to her.

I can’t bear the though of loosing her.

We were at the cemetery at Tatiana’s dad grave.

I really don’t know what to do now.

On one hand I’m happy cause I’d get to be with Tatiana and divorce Melanie but on the other hand, I’m sad cause I don’t wanna loose Myer.

She’s my daughter, my first child.

I hugged her and k-ssed her hair.

“I love you ” I whispered.

“I love you too dad ” she said and more tears streamed down my cheeks.

She’s an angel and though she ain’t my daughter, I’d love her like my own.

After sobering up, I carried Myer in my arms and we headed out.

~ Tatiana ~

We stood, staring at one another as we pointed guns at one another.

I know Faye would be very hurt but she was a means to the Buenevistas downfall so I had to use her.

“you used me against my own parents ” Faye breathed out.

“you made me sign the land in your name” she cried.

“you’re the real monster here Lanna” she blurted out and I rolled my eyes.

I’ve seen a lot in life than to be hurt with those mere words.

I squatted and pointed the gun at Faye’s forehead.

“now Mr George and Beatrice, should I blow out your daughter’s brain or you’re gonna let us go ” I asked.

Leo turned Sasha and held the gun at her too.

“should I blow out her head too ” he asked.

Mr George signaled his guards to drop their guns and they did.

“you guys too ” I said with a wry smile.

Beatrice and Melanie dropped their gun and Mr George hesitated before dropping his.

“now move away from the guns” I commanded and they moved farther from the guns.

Leo held Sasha as cover and walked to the car while Brian and did the same with Melanie and Faye respectively.

We rushed into the car and Brian sped off.

I feel so sorry for Faye.

I love her but I just had to bring down her family to save innocent souls and to give justice to everyone who were wronged.

I turned to my dad who sat beside me.

He stared at me, not saying anything.

Hot tears raced down my cheeks as I stared at my lovely dad.

This is really a miracle, I can’t believe my dad’s in front of me.

God is just so merciful to keep him alive for me.

All these years.

But why has he not yet recovered?

“dad ” I whispered.

I could see the confusion in his eyes as he stared at me.

“dad is me Tatiana, your daughter ” I said in tears.

Brian and Leo stiles glances of me but I ignored them.

I gently took his hand and k-ssed it.

“it’s me dad, Tatiana ” I blurted out.

The confusion was still visible in his eyes.

How do I prove to him that I’m Tatiana?

I looked around, thinking of how to prove to my dad I’m Tatiana.

Just then I remembered.

“remember dad, when I was young, I used to force you to drink the morning lemon juice and the soar milk ” I asked.

“I’d always make it for you but you’d make me pursue you round the room like a kid and when I finally catch you, I’d force you to take it ” I said with a smile.

The confusion in his eyes were replaced with love and tears welled up in his eyes.

“An…Anna ” he stuttered.

“dad ” I called in tears and gently hugged him.

How the hell didn’t he recover all these years?

“my Anna ” dad whispered and I smiled in tears.

We arrived home and alighted.

Brian and Leo helped dad in and we all went in.

I sat beside dad on his bed, hand in hand with a big smile on my face.

“Anna ” he called and I couldn’t stop smiling.

“dad don’t stress yourself, you have to heal” I said.

I got up and called a doc Steve.

He arrived mins later and checked up my dad.

“you see he wasn’t getting proper treatment in that hospital and I think he was in shock which delayed his healing but he’s fine now ” doc Steve said.

“thanks ” I said and he nodded.

I smiled at dad and accompanied doc Steve out.

“miss Lanna, when will the game stop ” he asked.

“soon, just wait for my permission ” I said and he nodded.

He boarded his car and drove off.

~ Mr George ~

Faye was being treated in the ICU while we waited in the waiting room.

I shot my own granddaughter.

The daughter I’ve been longing for.

It wasn’t her fault that bitch Tatiana used her.

Now we’re all stuck and I don’t know if we can get out.

First my precious grandson is still fighting for his life cause of an unknown disease and we don’t even have the money to pay the bills.

His sickness had made us go bankrupt.

I wanted to mortgage the land so we can pay for Rinaldo’s treatment but that Tatiana is a green snake under the grass.

I have to plan well.

Her dad is even alive and she even have boys who work for her.

Rinaldo is fighting for his life and only God knows if Tatiana is behind it.

Sasha is heartbroken cause one of Tatiana’s boys used her and my dead Margaux is broken cause she was used against her own family and her grandad shot her.

This is all a mess.

Fernando on the other hand is just a good for nothing, useless fool.

A doc walked outta Margaux ward and he said we could see her.

Beatrice and I went in and there she laid, on the hospital bed like a lifeless being.

I went beside her and sat while Beatrice stood at her feet.

I gently touched her hand and her eyes slowly open.

Pain, regret, guilt, everything were in her eyes.

Tears slide down her cheeks as she stared at me.

She sniffed and gently removed her hand from mine.

“Margaux ” I called softly.

“I don’t wanna be a Buenevista” she blurted out and I was stunned.

She doesn’t want to be a Buenevista.

“but Margaux… ”

“I hate the Buenevistas cause they’re heartless and I don’t wanna be with a family like that ” she cut off Beatrice.

“Margaux dear….. ”

“it’s OK Mr George, I’d leave” she said.

“no you can’t, we’re your family ” I said.

She ignored me and sat up.

Her crutches were beside her and she took it.

“where are you going? You haven’t recovered yet ” Beatrice seethed.

“I’m going away from this family ” she blurted out and got up.

“Faye ” I called and she stopped on her track.

“we’re your family and families are meant to be together no matter how bad or cruel they are ” I said.

That seemed to have clicked something in her cause her expression softened.

“we love you Faye and we’d continue to do ” I said.

Beatrice gently hugged her and she cried.

She pulled away and wiped her tears.

She turned and headed out.

“where are you going ” I asked.

“to Lanna” she blurted out.

“but what if she does something bad to you ” I asked.

“she won’t, she’s not heartless ” she blurted out and walked out with her crutches.

~ Faye ~

I hailed a cab and headed to Lanna’s house.

I arrived and told the cab man to wait while I went in.

I rang the door bell and Brian opened it for me.

I considered them all as my friends but they lied to, they fooled me, including Leo.

I thought we were in the game together but I was the only fool amongst them.

He stepped aside and I walked in.

Lanna was descending the stairs and I felt like strangling her with my bare hands.

“Lanna, you say the Buenevistas are monsters” I asked.

“well yeah they are but you’re no different from them, you’re a monster as well ” I yelled.

Johanna came running down the stairs followed by Leo.

The sight of Leo made me cry more.

I loved him and I still do but they’re all liars.

“you’re all bunch of fools, liars, monsters ” I yelled in tears.

“I thought we were in this together but I was only a means. I considered you as my real sister and loved you but you felt no pity for me instead you worsened everything! Why did you take me from my foster parents when you knew you were only gonna use me and not love me ” I asked in tears.

“I trusted you but you fooled me, you all did and you’re no different from the Buenevistas. You’re heartless and wicked ” I remarked.

“enough! ” Lanna yelled with her right palm as a signal.

“monsters you say ” she asked, coming close to me.

“your family is the real monster and not us. Yes I used you, yes I lied to you cause I wanted the downfall of the Buenevistas. They must go down whatever way possible and I’m gonna see to that” she seethed.

“you’re talking about hurt and lies, I learnt that from your family. You saw my dad, how burnt he is? Your family did that to him. They made me change my face. They poisoned my mom and blew up our house thinking they’d kill my dad and I but only God saved us” she said as tears streamed down her cheeks.

“your family made my life a living hell, they ruined my happy family, they took away my precious mom and so they did to many others ” she cried.

“your family are the real monsters not us cause we’re here for justice and we’d get it ” she said and sniffed.

Leo, Brian and Johanna walked to her and stood behind her in support.

She’s right, the Buenevistas are the real monsters.

Lanna has really gone through a lot but she still have emotions cause she didn’t kill them.

I’d have killed them though but she didn’t.

I’m such a fool for saying all those hurtful things to her.

“I’m sorry ” I whispered.

“I’m sorry Lanna ” I cried.

She ran to me and hugged me.

“I’m sorry too for hurting you this bad” she said in tears.

“you’ll always be the sister I never had ” she whispered.

“I love you ” I said.

“I love you too ” she said.

“time for them to finally go down ” Brian said and I took in a deep breath.
