” Natalie ” he said shakily.

” Darrell ” Natalie muttered.

” H…ow is this possible ” he said getting up to his feet immediately.

” Yo…you ain’t dead. You’re alive, you’re alive ” he breathed.

The teams were surprised and they keep glancing at each other.

Kris took a seat with a grin curve in his mouth.

Natalie was too shock to speak a word. She didn’t even know when her feet carried her out of the room. She ran to nowhere precisely with tears coming from her eyes. Her feet were carrying outside.

Darrell ran after her determined not to let her go this time around.

” Natalie ” he yelled.

The staff in the company were all staring. Whispering things in each other ears as Darrell chase Natalie.

Natalie was out of sight.
What the heck.
She is gone again.
No way. She can’t leave again.
She’s alive all this time.
Why did she keep herself away?
What must be the reason?
Why did she fake her death ?

Darrell was happy that she was alive at the same time annoyed that she was alive all this time and she make him and everyone think she was dead.

He got hell wh0le lot of questions for her. And she will give him the answers,he told himself. Once he finds her,he will make sure she won’t be able to run.

” I’ll tell my driver to take you to her ” Kris materialize behind him.

Darrel turned and Kris dug his hand in his pocket and brought his phone out.

” Dennis come immediately ” he order over the phone.

Kris winked at him.

” I have a request from you. Don’t be too hærd on her ” he said.

A few minutes later. Dennis arrived with a limo.

” He’ll take you to her ” Kris assured.

Darrell hopped in and Kris watch as he left with a grin of satisfaction in his l-ips.

Fate as brought them together. He had play a role in their fate. A month ago when he travelled to Chicago for a business meeting.

Fate as brought him to meet Natalie’s lover. He recognized him at first sight because he had seen Natalie hold his picture most times. And they was no difference of his face then and now.

He grateful that he was gonna merge with Darrell’s company which will help him in his business and also help to bring the two lover bird together. So he had arrange the meeting to be head on Poland. So Natalie will meet with him.

He can watch her crying forever. The last time he saw her with Darrell’s picture crying and lamenting. He had sworn to bring them together even if it means going against Natalie’s wishes.

It was enough of Natalie running away. It’s time to face fate and fight the odd that block their part. He had not seen Tanya in person ,but he hated her and wish she was gonna be exposed.

Anyway Darrell will learn the truth and the siren will go down.

” You’re alive ” Darrell’s words poke in his head and wonder what he met by that. Was he thinking she was dead all this time.

Kris had shifted the meeting to another day. He told the team and some of his board members that he was sorry to cancel the meeting to the next day.

He was gonna sent a car to pick the team up and take them to the hotel.

” Josh,come pick me up ” he called another driver,after the team have left.

Natalie was in her room now panicking. She had ran because she was avoiding the thousands of questions he would ask.

She clamped down on her bed and started crying. She was wailing seriously.

How can she face the man she ran away from.
She had betray him and now he would ask why the hell did you leave me for years.

” Darrell won’t forgive me for what I did to him. And I deserve it. I’m ready to endure your hatred ” she said bitterly.

The door bell rang and a maid went to get the door.

” Is Natalie home ” Darrell asked impatiently.

” You mean Ma’am Natalie. She up in her room. Your name sir,so I can go tell her about you ”

” Just direct me to her. I’ll go myself ” he was thinking maybe she’ll refuse to come down when she heard it was him.

” Okay sir. I’ll take you to her ”

Darrell arrived at Natalie’s room door and knock on it.

Natalie opened the door and she gasped as she saw Darrell and shivered at the annoyed expression he had.

” You can’t run anymore Natalie. You’ll give me some answer that I think I deserve to hear. ” he snarl coming into the room.

” I got a hell wh0le of question for you Natalie. First you’ll start with why you fake your death ” he said sternly.

Natalie shuddered as she moved backwards slowly and she halt as she get to the wall. Darrell flattened his hands at the two side of her head.

Natalie swallowed the lump on that was suppose to be on her thorat. She couldn’t face him and she stare on her feet. Her heart beat faster against her chest. She acknowledge the yearning in,side her.

Judy was just putting Nora to sleep. Nora was back from school and she was taking her nap after freshen up.

Judy went to her room and was also gonna take some nap.

Natalie photo she placed on the wall was about falling. So she sprung up and adjust it.

She stare at the picture wondering what Natalie have to leave years ago.

What made her left ,the question will always hang in her mind. But they’ll be no answer.

Years back she as got justice for what Miles did to her. They won the case and Miles was sentence to 5 years imprisonment. Miles couldn’t say the woman’s name that had collected her nude picture. That was another misery hanging in her head that she won’t find answer to.

” Natalie I missed you. How I wish you were here with us” she smiled forlornly at the picture.

The was the picture of her and Natalie attending a wedding ceremony of a family friend years back.

Tanya was in Mexico. She was in a party with three of her friends and party was heated.

She had come all the way here to free her mind. Been a mother was stressful and she won’t let that destroy her hubbies of going to parties,attending meetings and some sort of other fun.

But she wants Darrell and she was thinking she should open up a case for parental custody. So she can get Darrell to herself by blackmailing him through his child.

But how??
The damn man will always win. She have never succeeded in getting Darrell.

It as been six long years. Still the son of a bitch couldn’t fall in love with her,he still grief for that maid. Such a hærd nut,she mused irritatedly.

” What’s with the face? ” Pamela one of her friend asked noticing her change of expression.

She close her eyes and open them with a sigh.

” I want Darrell and he….

” You baby father. Girl you got to be kidding me. Just forget him. He doesn’t deserve you. You’ve been showing him green light since but he won’t even take notice of you. They’re other billionaires to get in your claws. Forget that good for nothing dude ” Tina the other friend said.

Tanya frowned and she glared at him.

” I love him ” she bit out.

” Tina is right. Girl you need to stop going after a man that is blind to see a very beautiful creature like you. They’re other billionaires who got more money than him ” Pamela said sipping her wine.

” No I want only Darrell. I love him ” she was adamant.

The two friends sigh.

” Suit yourself ” Pamela said rolling her eyes.

” I was thinking of opening up a parental case. I wanna gain custody of my daughter. So I can use that to blackmail him ” she said.

” You said it yourself that the dude always win at the end. So how are you sure he won’t win the case ” Tina said.

” I’ll make sure this time around. I win the case. This was the reason I got pregnant to use the child against him ” she said.

” Okay ” Pamela and Tina said at the same time.

” Why did you fake your death ?” he asked Icily.

She was just noticing his word fake your death and wonder what in the world he meant.

” Darrell please…

” Answer me ” she flinched at the cold intimidation of his voice.

” Answer me ” he yelled again .

” I didn’t fake my death” she manage to say.

” Look at me ” he order. But she was scared of looking at him.

He place his hand on her chin and brought her face to meet him. His heart melt and the yearning in,side him increase.

He forgot his anger for a timeless instant and then lock his l-ips on her and k-ssed her. His tongue traveled in,side her mouth taunting her.

Natalie body became heated and she cried for the yearning passion in,side her. She had missed him. His k-sses for years now. Those k-sses that was capable of melting her knee.

But then his k-ss became aggressive and she could feel the anger and pain in,side the k-ss. She drag her mouth away from him.

” What. I want you to pay for the pain I went through. You betrayed me and left me, making me think you were dead. Each day that passes I felt only pain ,pain and pain ” he yelled.

Natalie burst into tears and Darrell felt his heart aching. He couldn’t help in feeling bad for the way he as be behaving towards her. Even if she betrayed him. He still loves her and can’t tolerate seeing her in tears.

” Can you just tell me the reason you left. I thought you were dead ” his voice was calm.

Natalie couldn’t say anything. She was just crying.

” Damn it ,am sorry ” he apologized.

” You don’t have to tell me sorry. I’m the only one that have the right to say that to you. Am sorry Darrell. So sorry for leaving you. I know you hate me and you won’t be able to forgive me. Is okay anyway I’m not worth forgiven ” she said in between tears.

Darrell felt his heart tearing apart by her words. Tears came into his eyes too. He can never hate her even if he wants to. His love for her can’t make him hate the woman who hold special place in his heart.

” Why did you leave me ” Darrell voice quaked.

” Because I’ve to Darrell” she closed her eyes and sniffed.

There is no running. She as to tell Darrell the truth.

” Why? ” He asked again.

” It’s all because of Tanya ” she began and Darrell lifted his brow in shock at the mention of Tanya.
