Eric walk past some students almost hitting them out of the way cause the anger he felt at that moment couldn’t be measured.

He got to the lounge he often stayed at with the RFR.

Walking straight to Katrina, he banged his fist on the desk which startled everyone.

“What has gotten into you?” Katrina asked still feeling startled.

“You went too far this time!” He barked at her.

“What has gotten into you?” Josephine who had stood by the window asked.

“I think I can guess” Katrina said smirking

“You are here in defence of that dirt poor girl right?” Katrina asked.

“You’ve always messed with her and I never did a thing but this time you went far” Eric said.

“Eric is right, You went too far this time” Dexter echoed.

“Shut up! I did what I did to put that girl in her place and I will f**king do it again if necessary” Katrina yelled back.

“Then you won’t mind having me as an enemy right?'”Eric asked.

“You guys shouldn’t fight” Dexter said which got Katrina glaring at him.

“What has gotten into you Eric? The girl you are defending is nothing but a messenger to us” Josephine said which got him hitting the desk again.

“That’s because you made her one but I won’t let you bully her again, so stay the hell away from Beth” Eric said surprising everyone with his attitude.

“If you leave with that mind set then forget about being a part of us”Katrina said which got him stopping mid way.

“If you’d care to notice, I already stop being a part of you guys a long time ago” he said before leaving the room.

As soon as he left, Katrina push away her desk in anger.

“Who the hell does he think he is?” She yelled out in anger.

“Try calming down Kat” Josephine suggested which earned her an angry glare from Katrina.

“Who else thinks that I what I did is wrong? Say it now !” Katrina yelled glaring at Dexter and Willow.

“To be sincere, you went far ” Dexter said suddenly which got them starring at him.

“So you think that uh? Then why don’t you just f**k off like Eric, I don’t need people like you as my friend!” She yelled at him.

“You really don’t mean that right?” Dexter asked.

“I do, I mean it. You are no longer a part of the RFR” she yelled at him and Dexter got up giving her an angry look before storming out of the lounge.

“You really didn’t have to go that far” Willow said wondering if he should go after Dexter or stay with Katrina.

“If you wanna go with him then go but keep it in mind that you won’t be allowed in here or get to enjoy the privileges of being an RFR” Katrina threatened and that got Willow staying with them.

Eric who had been looking around for Beth ran outside just in time to see her getting into Calvin’s car.

He hadn’t been there when she was in need of his help,Calvin had been and it’s only right that he let them be.

He thought watching as the car drove off.

~ CALVIN’S HOME ~

“Do you know how he is now?” Lily asked as she and Beth were in the kitchen washing the plates.

“I haven’t heard a thing since he went to his room” Beth admitted.

When they got home two hours ago, Calvin had refused to eat or do a thing and had went straight to his room and since then Beth hasn’t seen him.

“Do you think he’s doing bad cause a while ago, I saw the doctor leaving his room?” Lily told her.

“Really? Did the doctor come to see him?” Beth asked while Lily nodded in reply.

“Then his condition is only getting worse” Beth said rinsing her hand and immediately she went to the door intent on going to see him when the door open revealing Nanny Melody.

“I want everyone out of here except for Beth ” she said and quickly Lily and the two other maids in the kitchen left in a hurry.

“I believe that apart from working here, you are also helping Calvin on his search?” She asked glaring at her with anger and Beth could already guess why.

“Yes” Beth said slowly.

“Then why are you putting him in danger?” Nanny Melody asked.

“I…It was an accident, he was trying to protect me when I…..”

“That is the issue, Calvin still needs protecting. He isn’t meant to protect someone when he still need protection and why he was protecting you, my boy got hurt” She said angrily.

“Am sorry” Beth apologised.

“Helping him with the search doesn’t mean you can put him in danger, so please learn how to keep your matters away from him, I beg you” Nanny Melody implored while Beth nodded slowly.

When she turned to leave, Beth took hold of her hand to stop her.

“How is he?” Beth asked worriedly.

“You can go and check up on him yourself ” she replied pulling her hand out of Beth before walking off.

Beth made her way up the stairs and on getting to Calvin door, she stood back doubting if she should go in or not but then she made up her mind and knock on the door once before going into his room.

He was asleep on the bed and slowly she made her way to his bed.

She stood beside his bed starring down at him.

If only he gotten in the way, she would have been the one injured and the one lying on the bed.

She felt grateful and at the same time she felt guilty.

She took hold of his hand only to feel its hotness and immediately she let go of it.

“You are burning up” she said just as he muttered some thing and having a pained look on his face even though he was asleep.

Quickly she dashed out of his room and went to the kitchen to get some clean towel and a bowl of water.

she went back into the room and began the task of taking care of the sick Calvin.

She sponge bathe his fore head and arms taking his temperature with the thermometer.

When he still kept being hot, she took his drugs which was left on the desk unopen and getting a warm water, she made his drink his drugs before getting him to sleep again.

Luckily for her, the fever broke a while later and instead of leaving like she’s meant to.

She stayed watching him sleep and unknown to her Nanny Melody who had come to check up on Calvin saw her in there and left the room as quietly as she could.

She was watching his sleeping face when she fell asleep.

She woke up and saw that it was dark, thinking she had slept off late in his room, she stood up wanting to leave when she saw the time.

It was just seven in the evening, she let out a sigh before seating back on the chair.

She let her gaze wander off to the sleeping Calvin.

She touched his fore head and when she didn’t feel it being hot, she felt relieved.

Due to the moon illuminating the room she could see Calvin face sleeping face and she wouldn’t deny that he looked so very handsome even when asleep.

He had a babyish face if he’s asleep, his lashes were full like that of a girl giving him a feminine look and his nose was long and pointy while his perfect pink lips made him seem like the sexist guy on earth.

She pulled fourth her hand to touch it when she stopped herself, rebuking herself for trying to touch him.

Then her heart began beating fast while that weird sensation filled her making her come alive in places she never knew.

Why does she feel this way whenever she’s close to him, she thought putting a hand on her beating heart.

She only ever felt this way for some one and that is Jason but she was in love with Jason, she can’t possibly be in love with Calvin, she thought still starring at his sleeping face.

“If you keep watching me then it would be hard for me to go back to sleep” Calvin said suddenly even as he open his eyes.

Being caught by him got her hiccuping, she kept hiccuping until he sat up to give her his water.

She took the glass from him and drain the whole content, some of the water spilling on her body.

“Easy” he said pulling out a handkerchief from his drawer while also turning on the lamp by his bed side.

She had thought he would give her the handkerchief and had her hand outstretched but then he pulled her onto his bed and began cleaning off the water.

“You are as clumsy as you look” He said smiling while he kept wiping the water.

Having him this close and feeling her heart beating fast made her realise some thing.

She is in love with him, she has fallen in love with Calvin…….

~ CALVIN’S HOME ~

Beth heart kept thumping fast even as Calvin kept wiping the water.

When she could take it no more, she push his hand away putting a distance between them.

“Did that make you feel uncomfortable?” Calvin realising what he did.

“A bit” she admitted.

“Am sorry, I only had the intention of wiping the water off of you” he replied.

“I know and you don’t have to apologise” she replied turning to face him while forcing a smile on her face.

“Are you feeling sick?” Calvin asked suddenly.

“No” she replied.

“Then why are your cheeks red? Hope you didn’t get my flu” he said feeling worried.

“Of course not, this is just….” This is me blushing due to how handsome you look, she finished the sentence in her mind.

“This is what?”

“Never mind, have been here a long time, my mom would be worried” she said turning to leave.

“Wait” he said which got her pausing by the door way.

“Uh”

“Thanks” he said with a lovely look on his face.

“For what?” She asked lost in his eyes.

“For taking care of me, my fever is gone thanks to your great care” he replied.

“You don’t have to thank me and it’s mainly my fault that you got injured, Nanny Melody is right” She muttered.

“Now what has Nanny Melody been telling you?” He asked.

“Nothing, she was just worried about you but you shouldn’t let her know that I told this ” She pleaded with her eyes.

” I won’t and I would also like to apologise on her behalf, she tends to over react like a mother hen and that’s because she hates seeing me in pain” Calvin told her recalling how Nanny Melody had cried each time he got sick during the past.

“Okay and Goodnight ” Beth said quickly leaving his room.

Calvin sat on his bed starring at his closed door while wondering what got her leaving in a rush.

“It would have been less boring if she stayed” he murmured before laying back on his bed while a smile splayed on his lips.

~ NEXT DAY ~ WILMER HIGH ~

Lily walk into Wilmer high thinking about the event of yesterday.

Due to what happen with Beth and Calvin, she now felt scared and to be honest she had thought of leaving but when she recalled the secret mission she had with Beth and Calvin, she thought other wise.

She was still walking on when two junior students running after each other ran past her.

One of them bump into her making her lose her balance and Lily found herself falling but she didn’t meet the floor like she expect, instead she fell into some one arms.

“I gotta ya” the male voice drifted to her and she open her shut eyes to see a pair of green eyes starring down at her.

Slowly he let her up until she was standing on her own two feet again.

She could now see his face properly and she recalled him to be one of Katrina friends.

“Are you okay?” Dexter asked moving towards her but she back away from him.

“Relax, I don’t intend to hurt you” he said.

“Am not scared of you, I just don’t want you touching me” Lily said which got him quirking an eyebrow at her.

“And why is that?”

“People who enjoys hurting others just for the fun of it are people I loathe most” Lily replied.

“What do you mean by that?” Dexter asked.

“Answer that yourself, you aren’t dumb and by the way, thanks for your help” Lily said referring to how he help her from falling while leaving Dexter totally dumb struck.

Never have he bern treated that way, who is she? He thought watching lily walk off.

~CALVIN’S HOME ~

“This drug is meant for you to use in the morning, then this in the event and the other at night. You shouldn’t skip any and before I forget, I bought this tonic while shopping in the morning and…..”

“Nanny Mel, you’ve told me about the tonic already” Calvin said.

“Really? I didn’t know but I don’t mind telling you again” she said as she continued.

Calvin let out a sigh as he sat on the bed listening to Nanny Melody.

He had woken up to get ready for school when Nanny Mel had instructed him to stay home and having no choice, he decides to stay but now he regrets not insisting to leave.

“Tell Beth to bring me those pain killers I asked her to buy” Nanny Melody said to the maid who was in the room with them.

“Didn’t Beth go to school?” Calvin asked.

“She didn’t ” Nanny Melody replied.

“Why?”

“I don’t know, maybe it’s because you are home and all but she’s been home all day” Nanny Melody answered again.

So she’s been home and didn’t even come to see him? He thought already etching up a plan to get Beth to come see him…..
