Elia walk into a garden, she has never been here before, this place looks strange, it must be a dream ” you can’t have her Lucian ” the voice mumble from the other side, moving close to listen properly I fasten my steps. ” she is already engaged to someone else and he has waited for her to grow to this age ”
” Mr Patrick, I can make her love me ” Lucian mumble ” won’t you want what’s best for your daughter, to marry a man that loves and care for her?”
” I do ” the man look down ” if you can make her love you then I think I will cut off the engagement, she have never meet this man before, from the rumors I heard about him…he was an abomination ”
” aqua will never love such a man ” Lucian shake his head ” I wish to meet her, let me talk to her ”
” Lucian ” Patrick look worried ” I fear for my daughter, this man isn’t someone to joke with, he made her his when she was just sixteen, he has waited for a while now ” he swallow ” I fear he might kill you if you touch her ”

Elia wake up sweating furiously, the heat in the room is unbearable and that dream, what was that about, me listening to Lucian talk about who? Who is this aqua?
Why do people keep confusing her with me.
Lucan said something of him waiting for three centuries for me and now I run into the murderers arm, by any chance am I the dead aqua?
That’s absurd and impossible, they is nothing like dying and being born again, that’s all wishful thinking but then I also thought they is nothing like vampires and now am captured by a crazy one.
Looking round the room, I move to the window, open it, letting the air and late night light come in ” Elia” hearing the voice right behind me I turn but no one is standing there, I was sure he was standing right behind me ” Elia” the voice sound again freaking me out.
” who is there ”
” is me, I have been following you around ” that voice again ” you have a complicated life, blink thrice if you wish to see me ” swallowing I do as he say ” look left, am sitting on the bed ” opening my eyes I look left, my eyes w¡den.
” you ” the same wizard who was stoned and burned to death is sitting on my bed, legs crossed and smiling ” you’re alive?” He chuckle, holding his stomach.
” I am not alive, haven’t you seen a ghost before?”
” no ”
” Well today is your lucky day Elia ” and he knows my name, he did say he has been watching me which means” no, I haven’t seen you unclad nor when you and your lover touch, I always excuse myself ”
” that doesn’t make me feel better ”
” I know ”
” why are you here” I look around ” how did you get in…oh wait, you’re a ghost but why are you following me ”
” it turn out you’re the only one that can see me ” he stand to his feet ” the blinking thrice was just nonsense, I never expected you to see me ”
” why am I seeing you?”
” maybe because you prayed for me…when I was dying you cried and my dying wish was to know more about you ” the ghost smile ” but then, two strong men are already fighting for you, I think I have to remain in the friend zone ” he step forward and bring out his hand ” call me Sebastian ”
Taking his hand I smile ” your hands are warm which is strange for a ghost right ” letting go of his hand I frown ” why am I not freaking out, am taking to a ghost, a real ghost!!!” He giggle and suddenly the door open revealing an angry Lucian.
” who are you talking to?” He growl and I frown.
” is they anybody in this room Lucian? Do you think I have gone mad or something ” folding my hands Sebastian move closer to my direction and whisper in a girly voice ” help me, am scared!!” I tried fighting the urge to laugh but I did anyway and that made Lucian more confused.
” what’s funny ” he furrow his brows ” have you lost your mind aqua?”
” stop calling me that Lucian ” I yell getting sick of people treating me like am that girl ” am not aqua and will never be, my name is Elia, Elia not aqua, put that in your mind ”
” do not rise your voice at me Elia ”
” or what!!!” I yell even more ” will you slap me again? Hit me, beat me up, burn me…what will you do ”
” I will f-cking rape you Elia!!” He gro-n grabbing my arm and pulling me close ” I will strip you and have my way with you if you don’t shut up ” after he gro-n, he let go of my hand and hold his hand, looking behind him I watch Sebastian hitting Lucian head with his hand, so much strength that I fear for Lucian.
” stop” making my voice low as possible, Sebastian shake his head, determined to kill Lucian but when I frown he stop ” leave Lucian, I wish not to see you right now” he lift his head, pain in his eyes, the hit must have hurt ” you have hurt me enough, I need no more ”
” I see ” his voice tough ” see you tomorrow ” he leave and shut the door which gave me the opportunity to breath, everything happening is new to me, new and Scarry.

CHAPTER THIRTY NINE: TRIP TO THE OTHER SIDE 20 ( KARMA )
Elia sit on the bed and exhale ” how do I get out of here Sebastian ” looking at him I frown ” you do know that my life has gone upside down ”
” do you wish to know more about this aqua ”
” aqua?” He nod smiling ” how am I suppose to know a dead person?”
” am a wizard Elia, I can make you go to the past and see everything then know the truth so that those two bastards can stop confusing you ”
” Alexander isn’t a bastard Sebastian ” frowning he lift up his hands ” why am I even siding him?”
” because you like him?”
” I doubt it ” looking at the sky through the window I couldn’t help but to think how Alexander will be feeling right now, will he search or be relief am not there anymore but if he isn’t relief I know he will be angry I left the palace without his permission or without him with me and trust me, am regretting that now.
” do you wish to know who was aqua to Alexander? ”
Remaining quite I look at him, if am to say yes now I might find something I wish I never search for so I shake my head ” I want him to tell me on his own ”

” then you show me the truth ” I mumble and Sebastian nod, laying down I said nothing else.
” you do know I can break you out of here right ” I nod and he purred ” why haven’t you ask me to help you ”
” I want to see what Lucian has become ” mumbling I smile ” I know he doesn’t hit women and he isn’t evil, I want to see how he will behave with me besides, Alexander should miss me for awhile ”
” good answer ” he smile ” I will be back morning ” and with that Sebastian pass through the wall and out of sight, will it be fun to be a ghost? A ghost that only Alexander can see, him and no one else?
Maybe that won’t be fun, mother will worry that am dead and jack will cry out his eyes….tears drop from my eyes when i realize that mother will be worried, I have spent more that three days here, this is the nineteen day and I still don’t know when I will be going home.
I don’t know the road back home either, all I knew is that Alexander push me into a river and boom I came here, they are lots of rivers around this place, how am I suppose to know the exact river?
I hate this land, no cars, no phone, no light…so ancient and annoying.
The men here are always making my life difficult, if I keep listing reasons I won’t be able to sleep, I should sleep and gain energy for tomorrow.
That will be best.
Lucian watch the sun rise from the room window, no he wasn’t able to sleep, things isn’t org-nized in his head, I know fully well I have made her hate me more, what got into me to hit her? I can’t even face her right now ” My lord, breakfast is ready ”
Turning around I smile at verge ” tell Elia to join me ”
” will do that my lord ” grabbing a jacket I put it on then move to the dining room, its small, a small place for a small family…Elia approach, hair messy, hands robbing her eyes, a smile appear on my l-ips, she looks like a baby ” good morning Elia”
She pull out a chair then sit down yawning ” morning ” her hands quickly open the plate ” chicken soup?? ” her eyes move to mine ” how am I sure you didn’t poison me”
” really?”
” yes Lucian, if you can slap me am sure poison isn’t far from that ” she growl ” I mean, putting poison in this soup will be a super plan, super and well org-nized right?”
” am not that evil ”
” you did show me you were ” she roll her hair into a messy bum ” am not eating I prefer to starve to death ” the moment she stand to her feet I hit the table with my hand, she flinch and I hold my head.
Whenever am losing it my head hurts ” sit down Elia and I mean it!!! ” growling I look at her ” sit and eat, you look too thin, add more pounds will you ”
” you may like your women fat but Alexander doesn’t and am not about to get fat because of you!”
” why are you pushing my buttons Elia ”
” that’s simple ” she fold her hands still not sitting ” I want you to hit me again Lucian…oh wait, last night you said you will rape me right, go ahead” she look angry ” chain me to the bed and rape me, take off my clothes and show me just how evil you are ”
” shut up” my voice calm.

Cutting her off I stand to my feet ” I said shut up!” Moving close to her I watch fear dance in those eyes of hers, fear shouldn’t be in there, it shouldn’t be anywhere in her body.
Using my hand I cut part of the chicken and force it into her mouth ” eat ” I watch her eat gently ” you see, they is no poison in the food so just sit down and finish your damn food”
She spit the chicken out and shake her head ” No ”
” why not ”
” am not staying here, I want to leave this place ”
” am not letting you go Elia ” I mumble ” don’t you get it, I love you Elia, I love you so much that it hurts, it hurt you choose that murderer over me”
” you don’t hit someone you love Lucian” Elia bark ” that’s not love but obsession, I will be in my cage, far away from you ” I watch her walk to her room, slamming the door hærd.
Running my hands through my hair I stand still knowing fully well I have lost her, its always hærd to make a woman love you when hatred is already there or when she loves another man.
So this is what Alexander passed through centuries back, is karma hitting me in a rough way?
