Lucian use his hands and slap the back of Verge head ” I told you guys to bring her here calmly, not to render her unconscious ”
” but my lord, she was about to scre-m ”
” was she alone ” looking at a sleeping Elia I smile, I can’t leave her with that bastard, that will only make her love the wrong man, a man that can kill a woman he claim to love.
” yes my lord ” verge mumble ” she looked lost though ”
” hmm” tucking her hair behind her ear I smile ” what are the others doing ”
” after conquering one of those dragons village, we have killed all the civilians we could found and settle in the nice houses for the night and to decide our next plan ”
” I see ” this only means Alexander isn’t helping the dragons, for the vampires to defeat one of the villages this easy simply means they have grown weak due to lack of practice and wish of everlasting peace ” you can go verge ” when his footsteps fade away I move to the reading table and sit down.
This marks the third village which we have conquered, we are left with five more than the main palace before wining this ” easier than I thought ”
Elia whimper caught my attention, turning my gaze to her direction, I watch her blink several times before sitting up and looking at me, it took few minutes before she recognized me ” Lucian?”
” hey ” smiling she touch her head and mo-n in pain ” sorry about that, verge is a complicated being, I told him to bring you gently but he did otherwise”
” you do know this is kidnapping right”
” No Elia ” smiling I watch her stand to her feet, those brown hair lose down, the dress just stop at her th-gh, its short and giving me a clear view of those thighs ” am saving you ”
” from what Lucian!”
” from that man you think you love Elia” standing to my feet I growl ” he is taking advantage of you, trying to make you think he is kind, loving and sweet but that’s all wrong ”
” you’re the one wrong Lucian ” she kind of look angry, is it because of what I said, she doesn’t like it when I bad mouth Alexander? Have she fallen for him? ” Alexander is anything but nice and he doesn’t hide it ”
” why are you defending him ”
” because you keep misreading him ” when I move closer, she step back, all what I see in those eyes are fear, since when do she fear me? I can and will never hurt her, she knows that.
“You fear me now?”
” I don’t think so ” she exhale ” all these are Scarry Lucian, you do know you should have come and get me yourself than sending those huge men to give me a heart attack”
Fighting the urge to laugh i exhale ” am sorry Elia, last time I ask you to come with me but you refuse, I don’t think you would have agree to come with me” stepping closer I smile when she didn’t step back ” would you have come?”
” No ” trust Elia to be honest always ” you freak me out Lucian ”
” why is that ”
” I fear you will force yourself on me ” she look at my eyes before tucking her hair behind her ear ” last time you lost control and I hope that don’t happen again ”
” which means, you don’t plan on k-ssing me?” Holding her hand I pull her closer, she didn’t struggle and that give me joy ” I really did miss you and the thought of you spending night and day with that guy saddens me” car-ssing her cheek I smile ” I want you for myself Elia ”
” Lucian ”
” I know, how foolish of me to ask such a thing but that’s what my heart asks for, for you to marry me and bounded to me not him ”
” am not bounded to anyone Lucian ” she growl but her cheek has redden a bit ” I am confuse, I don’t know how I feel ”
” that’s okay, just don’t hurry back, spend time with me too, get to know me better ” letting go of her hand I watch her exhale, she has been holding her breath, must be nervous ” we just won a battle, we will take few days to relax so stay with me”
” but Alexander…. ”
Cutting her off I pick a apple and hand to her ” let him worry, allow him to miss and chase after you like I have done ”
“Am not sure Lucian ” she bite her lower lip ” Alexander lacks patience and if he did find me here, you and your men will be in trouble ”
” don’t worry about me Elia, I can handle myself ” moving close to her I hold her hand ” come, let me show you something I kept for you ”
” what is it?”
” relax and come with me ” taking her into the close forest for privacy I smile, the sun bright but not too bright to harm her skin, stopping under a huge tree I turn her to face me “here ” pulling out aqua old necklace from my pocket I had it to Elia, she has always loved that.
Maybe its because I gave it to her as a present ” its beautiful ” it has a butterfly shape ” I love it ”
” I guess some things never changed ”
” what?” She furrow her brows and I chuckle.
” what do you like about it ”
” the butterfly ” she smile still staring at it ” it symbolize freedom, bring free to fly ….that’s my own definition though” I couldn’t help but to smile, those were the exact words aqua said the day I bought that for her.
“Let me put them on for you ”
” I can’t ”
” why not ”
” Alexander necklace already there ” I watch her hands move to the necklace laying there but it wasn’t a butterfly, just a shape of love, looks simple with touch of diamonds.
However that made me frown because once again he has beaten me to that, this time around things aren’t in my favour and that alone angers me.

Elia shake her head then look at Lucian, they is no way she can keep this necklace, its wrong and the fact that she doesn’t feel a thing for Lucian is clear now, yes he is a good man and loves her but not a thing is in her heart for him ” here” placing the necklace back into his hands, his confused expression met hers.
” why are you giving this back? ”
” I don’t see why to hold on to it Lucian” smiling I step back ” I can’t return your feelings Lucian, its so clear now, though I can’t say I love Alexander but I do know I don’t love you the way you are expecting ”
” what are you talking about Elia” his hands move to his head ” my head hurt sometimes ”
” I love you Lucian but as a friend” stepping back I mumble ” when the thought of taking off Alexander necklace and placing yours there cross my mind I couldn’t do it because his necklace has his heart on it and I don’t want to leave his side and yes he is evil” Lucian face is unreadable ” maybe evil is what I need Lucian ”
” shut up ” his voice calm, eyes closed.
” Lucian?”
” I said shut up!!!” This time his scre-m freaked me out and I step further away ” you can not say that to me aqua, I have waited for over three centuries after your death because I heard you will be reborn and now you want to run into that murderer arms?”
” Lucian, you can’t force love and am not aqua! ”
” you’re right, aqua will never do this to me ” his eyes open and I gasp from the bloody colour its radiating, he is angry, I have never seen him like that before “but why is he forcing himself on you, his sick love ”
” he is not sick and he force nothing ” I bark back ” what is wrong with you Lucian, why are you yelling at me!”
” because I have reached my limit ”
” let me go, am leaving this place, far from you ”
” you are not Elia, you are never leaving my self ever again ” he swiftly grab my arm ” I don’t care if you hate me after this but one thing is clear, you are mine and will remain mine ”
” you have lost your mind Lucian, I… ” before I could speak further he grab the necklace around my neck and pull it but the worst thing is that, I have tried and it never came out so right now, it feels like he is trying to kill me ” Lucian!” Slapping his face, it didn’t move, just a red mark right there.
He let go of my neck and slap me right back, sending me to the floor as I cough blood, this isn’t Lucian, eyes are different, he is not himself, he will never hit me but then I know nothing about this man, he might he a horrible person hiding behind smiles ” you want evil right, I will give you evil” he growl

Alexander couldn’t stand it anymore, all the searching has brought no news out, he doesn’t even have it in him to go back to the palace for a night rest ” have you find the maids cash?” Sitting down in the forest I watch him make the fire then sit down.
” no” cash mumble ” you do know that Giles doesn’t tell me shit, if he find anyone, he will tell you instead but then who do you think will want your woman? Who did aqua upset?”
” she is too kind to upset anyone” growling I watch the fire ” is either someone kidnapped her for money because she dressed wealthy or that Lucian bastard”
” why don’t we look for this Lucian then ”
” I can’t ” looking at cash I exhale ” last time I encountered him I smelled black magic from him, he has a black witch around and the main reason I can’t find him right now is because he covered his and his army whereabouts with a spell that dragons eyes can’t see”

” he is and this wh0le situation is making me regret being born from two dragon parents ”

” I have the maids ” Giles smile, always smiling ” they are three, keep scre-ming they didn’t do anything with your woman ” bringing them forward I notice three of them are unclad, furrowing my brows at Giles he shrug ” they are cute okay, do not blame me”
Cash stood up looking angry ” you can’t just take advantage of three girls and tie them up without me!”
” I tried reaching to you cash but you were disconnected”
” I wasn’t ”
” wait!!!” Lifting my hand up they both stop their useless argument then look my way ” cash, I thought you were being faithful to your growing mate?”
” I was but Zulu already spoiled that so right now I will enjoy as many woman I can before she hit eighteen ” he smile and I roll my eyes.
” you two should shut it ” moving close to the girls I lose the cloth placed in their mouth ” where is Elia”
” I don’t know!” She cried” we were all in the market together and when we turn around she was gone, we will never try …..” Before she could complete her sentence I elongate my finger and slice her throat.
” wrong answer ” moving to the next woman I lose the cloth from her mouth and furrow my brows ” where is she?”
I watch this particular maid tremble ” I don’t know, please don’t kill me…I seriously don’t know ” cutting her throat the blood splash on my face.
” you, where is she ” doing the same, tears flow from her eyes as she tremble but before I could kill her cash stop me ” what is it cash ”
” let me handle it ” he step forward and touch her calmly on the cheek ” you are not allowed to talk right ” she nod ” they placed a spell on you ?” She nod ” you didn’t see his face?” She nod ” but they sent you to take her out of the palace ” we receive another nod ” can’t you speak?” She shake her head ” kill her ”
” you don’t order me cash ”
” you know what, let me rape her to death ” he smile, that evil smile of his ” a little action will be good ”
” take your d*ck out of my face ” Giles gro-n ” that’s disgusting ”
” shut the f-ck up Giles ” not giving cash his heart desire I pull her head from her body, blood splash all over three of us ” what the f-ck Alexander ” they both yell
” you two need to think straight and help me out here, I need to find Elia and you two are demons which are not affected by the spell ”
” you are not a dragon anymore Alexander ” Giles mention and I nod.
” I didn’t change my eyes ” frowning I look at the sky ” I think time is running out for her, I need you two to start right now, no joking around, no women, just find Elia for me ” looking at the sky I close my eyes ” please” they gasp because they know I never say those words but for Elia, I can break rules.
