😘Elsa POV😘
I remained quiet looking at her blabbing her mouth. Thats me!! I don’t usually talk too much or maybe I’m just scared.

“I warned you”. She glared at me before walking away.

I sighed and knelt to pick the books when someone picked them up before me. I looked up to see him holding my books.

Oh My Gosh!! I think I just met an Angel because the face I’m looking at right now is so heavenly.

“Hi”.

I opened my mouth to reply but nothing came out of it. Why is my tongue always tied around cute guys?

“Elsa?”. He said piping into my thoughts.

I snapped back into reality immediately.
I exhaled calmly.

“Umm, Thanks. “I said looking up.

“Sorry about that. Sapphire can be a whole lot of trouble”. He handed me my books.

So that girl name was Sapphire. The name is too beautiful for a dumb girl like her.

I took the books. “Thanks again. I’m El__”.

He cut me off. “Elsa Reyes, You mentioned it in class”.

“You know my name but I don’t know yours”. I said flirtatiously.

He smiled. “Bryan Stark”.

When he smiled, everything about him just felt heavenly. He was really handsome just like Kyle but no one can be compared to my Kyle.

“So you better get to class, you don’t wanna miss it on first day of school”.

“Huh yeah, bye”. I smiled.

He chuckled quietly before walking away.

“Wow!! Bryan Stark? You just leveled up baby”.

I was startled and looked back to see Beverly. “Gosh!! You scared me”.

“You didn’t see me because you were staring at prince charming”.

I rolled my eyes. “I wasn’t staring”.

“Too bad because I think he likes you already”.

I laughed in disbelief. “You are crazy”.

“Lets go to class together”. She linked her arms to mine.

“Tell me about Bryan”. I said curious.

“Bryan doesn’t just talk to anyone, he noticed you means a lot of things”.

I huffed. “I want Kyle to notice me not some Bryan guy”.

“Are you kidding me? Elsa, Bryan is one of the cutest guys in this school”. She told me. “I’m a cheerleader but I can’t get him to notice me”.

I crossed my arms. “If Bryan actually noticed me, that means Kyle can notice me too”.

“Enough of Kyle already, he doesn’t even know you”. She complained. “We should get to class since we have the same subject”.

I agreed. “Okay at least we get to sit together, i missed you Beverly”.

She giggled. “Miss you too Bestie”.

We headed to class arm in arm.

We attended most of our classes together and now I was currently in English Class seated next to Beverly as always.

I was trying to draw an authentic portrait of the English teacher, Mrs. Tanya. Although I just met her, i disliked her immediately. She called me weird because of the way I stared at her. Its not my fault she’s bitchy.

Right now I was drawing her with rodent features, pointy hands and salient teeth at the back of my notebook.

“What are you doing?”. Beverly whispered to me as Mrs. Tanya taught.

I ignored her still drawing which was really accurate. But I couldn’t decide if it looked more like a rat or a squirrel.

Mrs.Tanya the Squirrel. Oh it was really good.

I tore the drawing out of my notebook and passed it over to Beverly.

She turned to me, look at the crumpled paper with one of her eyebrows raised and took it with a suspicious look.

She opened it carefully and looked at it weirdly, she wasn’t expecting a drawing however. She restrained herself laughing while I chuckled silently.

Beverly got a pen and began to draw sone lines over it. A moment later, she passed the paper back to me.

I clasped my hand over my mouth and tried to hold myself. Beverly was watching my reaction with an evil grin.

“What are you two snorting at?”. Mrs. Tanya bellowed out of nowhere.

We both jumped.

That was it!! We were doomed.

“This is the first day of school for you 12th graders, now tell me what could be more important than English, Ms. Reyes?”. Mrs. Tanya asked as other students watched.

I really just wanted to run out of class and never come back.

“Mrs. Tanya”. Beverly began bravely.

I knew she was just buying time, she clearly had no clue of what to say.

I looked at my desk, the portrait was still there. Whatever happened, I couldn’t let her see the drawing or else detention for me.

I just managed to crush the paper into a ball and step on it. I did it without her noticing.

“Whatever you did here, Ms. Reyes, I won’t__”.

She was interrupted by Bryan entering the class.

Beverly nudged me. “Isn’t he hot?”.

“Kyle is hotter”. I whispered while she rolled her eyes in response.

Mrs. Tanya went back to the front of class. “You can come in Stark”.

Bryan looked up. He has incredibly brown eyes and light hair which shows a lot of confidence. Like, he’s the definition of cool.

“Next time I won’t send you to the principal’s office. You will be suspended”. Mrs. Tanya said to him. “Go take a seat”.

I was surprised, what did he do? I was definitely curious.

He walked into class and the whispers started, the girls were commenting on him as usual.

Mrs. Tanya continued the class like nothing happened. I glanced around the class checking if Kyle was here but he wasn’t.

“You’ve been looking around ever since. Whats up with you?”. She asked lowly.

“Why isn’t Kyle here? I wanna see him”.

“Your crush doesn’t attend classes most times”. Beverly whispered.

I sighed disappointed.

“OK, we have this semester’s first assignment”. Everyone complained at the same time.

“No excuses”. Mrs. Tanya continued. “You’ll be teaming up with a colleague to write an essay on r0mantic poetry. Don’t be lazy”.

Everyone seemed to be pairing as usual.

I felt a hand on my shoulder so I looked back. Bryan.

“Hey”. He sounded relaxed. “You seem like a good choice. Care to team up with me?”.

“Huh? Sorry but Beverly and I are already__”.

Beverly interrupted me. “Yeah Elsa would love to partner with you”.

“Beverly!!”. I faced Bryan. “I’m partnering up with__”.

“I already got a partner”. Beverly said holding a guy’s hand.

Oh good. A gallant.

The bell rang for break and Mrs. Tanya raised her voice. “This is your weekend project. Take your time but study hærd”.

Students stood up grumbling walking out of class as Mrs. Tanya left.

Bryan was still waiting for an answer.

“You look like the only interesting girl in this room”. He said.

I unconsciously blushed and nodded an OK, i couldn’t even talk.

“Great, i finally have someone to talk to in English class”. He said with a grin.

“You just met me today”.

“I get bored easily”. He smiled, grabbed his books and left.

I faced Beverly. “You were right, he’s totally cute”.

She laughed. “Right?”.

“But I think Kyle is cuter anyways”. I continued.

She smacked my head playfully. “Kyle is no good for you, I keep telling you that”.

Beverly smacked my head playfully. “Kyle is no good for you, I keep telling you that”.

She stood up and dragged me out of class into the school hallways.

“Where are we going?”. I asked curiously.

“The cafeteria. Its lunch time”. She replied.

“Is Kyle there?”.

She stopped. “Elsa, I don’t want to hear another word from you about Kyle”.

I gr0-ned. “Why do you hate him so much?”.

“Because he’s a damn playboy, and besides how is he gonna even notice you?”. She said and started walking again.

I walked by her side. “What do you mean by that?.

She shook her head negatively. “Lets just go eat”.

We walked into Cafeteria and Beverly led us to a table of cheerleaders with Kimberly in the middle as always.

“Hey guys, remember her, Elsa?”. Beverly said to them.

They all looked at me smiling. By the way, I knew the smiles were fake and none of them liked me especially Kimberly.

“Hi Elsa”. Kimberly called in a high girlish tone. “Nice to meet you”.

“Beverly, we’ve met her but why is she here?”. One of the girls asked.

“To sit with us, she’s my best friend”. Beverly replied.

“Sorry but no nerds allowed”. Kimberly said.

I scoffed inwardly. f–k her!! I didn’t even want to sit here anyways with all these fake classic barbie dolls.

“But Kim, she’s my__”.

“I said no”. Kimberly shouted.

“I’m so sorry Elsa but you can’t eat with us here”. Beverly said.

I cut her off. “Its okay, Beverly, you can sit with them. I’ll go sit elsewhere”.

I walked away furiously clinging to my backpack, i looked back and saw Beverly already seated laughing with them. I exhaled before calming down searching around for empty tables.

I actually thought Beverly would come sit with me, maybe she’s changed after all these years. I mean she’s friends with Kimberly, so that means trouble.

I saw one right at the end so I went over there and dropped my backpack sitting down. I pressed my thumbs against my temples, you need to calm down, Elsa.

A tray was dropped on my table, i looked up startled to see a girl with short brown hair standing.

“Can I sit here?”. She asked innocently.

I nodded. “Sure”.

She smiled and sat down. “I’m Gabriella but you can call me Gabby”.

“Elsa”.

She pushed the tray towards me. “I have enough for both of us so you don’t have to go stay in a line”.

“Thank you but no thanks”. I replied.

I noticed whisperings in the cafeteria and most of the girls jostling around, some where fiddling with her shirts and skirts.

“Whats going on?”. I whispered.

She pointed towards the entrance. “Them”.

I looked back to see five cute boys entering the cafeteria with my Kyle in the middle.

“I know Kyle but who are the others?”. I asked curious.

“They are Kyle, Justin, Mason, Sean and Carl”. She replied.

“They are like a crew or something?”.

“Carl Kris is the captain of the swimming team here in school, while Sean Barren is the basketball champion of the school”. She explained. “Mason is the Star quarterback of football team and Justin is the Captain of the Soccer team”.

“Kyle Vegas is the School’s President”. I added. “I get it now”.

I watched as they all walked in, girls were clamoring for their attention. They walked over to their own special table, i guess. I was surprised when I saw Sapphire stood up from the cheerleaders table going over to the guys.

“She’s like their f–k buddy or something but I do know that she’s not dating any one of them”. Gabby said.

“Why will they wanna date a slut like her?”.

I faked a gag as I watched Sapphire sit on Kyle’s laps as he fondled her in public.

“She’s so__”.

“Seriously? Elsa”. Beverly came over interrupting Gabby.

I became confused. “What?”.

Beverly sat down angrily. “You called Sapphire’s ass decayed? Why would you say a thing like that?”.

“Probably because Sapphire deserves it”. Gabby butted in.

“Shut it!!”. Beverly faced me. “Who the heck is she?”.

“Relax, she’s a friend, meet Gabriella”.

She ignored Gabby. “You need to apologize to Sapphire or else they are gonna kick me out of the cheerleader team”.

I was taken aback. “There is no way i’m doing that”.

“Then you should have kept your big mouth shut”. Beverly fired at me.

I became surprised, she’s acting this way because of she wants to be a cheerleader.

“I’m not apologizing, go tell your cheerleader friends that”. I said in a serious tone.

Beverly stood up and walked away angrily.

“You need to ignore them or else they are gonna make your life miserable”. Gabby said quietly.

“Who? Beverly is my best-friend but I don’t know why she’s like this”.

Gabby scoffed. “Beverly is one of them, she likes s×¢king up to Kimberly, i’m pretty sure she’s already been f–ked by those guys”.

I frowned. “She’s my best-friend please don’t talk of her that way”.

She shrugged. “Okay if you say so”.

Someone immediately slammed a hand on my table. I looked up at her confused.

“Kyle calls for you”. The girl said.

Kyle Vegas? Why would he want to talk to me? Weird right. I looked over at his direction and noticed Kimberly was at their table with most of the cheerleaders including Beverly.

I could see that Beverly was literally staring at Kyle intensely, Sapphire said something and Kyle looked at my table before turning his gaze. He said something and I heard laughter.

“She’s not coming”. Gabby answered.

The girl scoffed. “Elsa, you are in for some big trouble”. She said and walked away.

“Elsa you really need to leave the cafeteria right now. Sapphire must have told the guys what you did”. Gabby said hurriedly.

“I’m .. I’m not afraid”. I said a little nervous.

Gabby stood up. “Come on, lets go”.

She dragged my arm and led me out of cafeteria, i looked back and saw one of the guys, Mason, standing up.

I quickly went out of the cafeteria with Gabby and she took me to the restroom.

She leaned on the wall. “Okay that was a close call”.

“I really don’t get whats going, Gabriella”. I said confused. “Please tell me whats happening”.

“Look, Elsa, no one crosses those bitches especially Kimberly and Sapphire. Any one who does that will seriously be under the wrath of those guys”. She explained.

“I’m in big trouble, i should never have come back to SpringCity”. I meekly said.

“Its okay, just avoid and ignore them”. Gabby told me calmly.

“Is this how they usually do?”. I asked curious.

She nodded. “Sadly yes, few girls in this school have attempted suicide because of them”.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I opened my eyes and glanced at Gabby, she was staring at me with a worried expression on her face.

She was about to say something but the bell rang immediately interrupting her.

“What class do you have now?”. She asked.

“Biology”. I answered.

“Shoot!! I got History”.

We went out of the restroom and she hugged me before going away.

I sighed and walked through the hallways when I felt someone presence beside me.

I looked sideways and saw Mason.

“Hi”. He smiled cutely.

He looked so cute and innocent, Maybe Gabby isn’t right? They look too innocent. The least they can do is just prank me, thats all.

“So Beverly said you just arrived, mind if I showed you the ropes?”.

“Sorry but I have a class”. I said walking away.

He held my hand drawing me back, i tried to remove his hand but he tightened his grip even more.

“Let me go”. I pleaded.

“Come on Elsa, i’m not a bad person”. He said running his fingers down my arm.

I tried to release myself from his grip but I couldn’t.

He held my w–st and brought his l-ips close to mine.

He was pushed away immediately and I saw Bryan.

Mason stood up. “What the hell!!”.

Bryan crossed his arms. “Hitting on a newbie? As expected of you”.

“You damn__”.

Bryan cut him off. “I don’t want you anywhere near Elsa, got that?”.

Mason faced me. “We are not done here”. He said and stormed off furiously.

Bryan walked over to me. “Are you okay?”.

I hugged him tightly not wanting to let go.

He finally pulled away. “As much I would love to continue this but you have a class”.

I smiled. “Thanks for what you did”.

“Just try not to go close to him”. He said and walked off.

I took a deep breath heading off to Biology class. I stepped in the class and all eyes were on me.

“Miss Reyes, you are late but come in. Go join a group now”. The teacher said.

I looked around the class and noticed Beverly but she was with Kimberly and Co.

I walked over. “Can I join?”.

Kimberly scoffed. “Please do my eyes a favor and leave right now”.

Ouch!! That hurts. I felt down with the way everyone snickered at what Kimberly said.

Beverly mouthed a sorry to me but I ignored her.

“Come on, Kim, don’t be too harsh on beautiful”.

Is that Kyle voice? And he called me beautiful?

I turned and saw Kyle.

“Come sit with us”. He said.

He was with two of his friends and there was a vacant position that i could sit on.

Girls around were whispering at what Kyle said.

Should I sit with Kyle? Gabby words kept ringing in my ear but I swept it away.

“Miss Reyes, just take a seat”. The teacher said impatiently.

An opportunity to get close to my childhood crush. I smiled and sat down with Kyle.

I noticed Kimberly and her friends smirking, even Kyle was giving his friends side glances. Something must be wrong.

I wanted to stand up and move to another seat but Kyle forced me back on the chair.

He placed his hand on my th-gh rubbing it smoothly.

“Don’t even think about standing up or else”. He said harshly.
