Part three
Unknown POV
I felt pity for him but I didn’t want to tell them what their those every night because they would surely think we are bird’s of the same feathers not knowing am not the kind of person she is, someone who wouldn’t keep her s€×ual desire out of the line.
Instead, when he cane to me, I told him I haven’t set my eyes on her since morning even though we both left her house that night. I told him I drop off not long to do some stuff and he believed without questioning me.
And more over, Xander might heard about it and tag both of us together saying we both do the same thing without knowing am not one if her so instead, I prefer they catch her by themselves and she knows better than telling them that I know about it because she knows better than doing so.
She would not want our relationsh¡p to end just like that because of her lies and her secret. Although,she has promised not to tell them I Know of her illness when they later find out about it, instead, she asked me to pretend like I don’t know about it when they find out about it.
Then I have no choice but to agree and pretend like am not satisfied with the fact that she wants me to pretend but dip down, I was f****ng please that she did not think about dragging me into the ness she finds herself in especially something so gross like that.
I even wonder how they would be like when they hear about their daughter gross and ugly side Which do kick in at night when they are asleep, what she is busy doing at the club.
I was brought out of my thoughts when I saw Xander running towards me which get me wondering if something was really wrong, like why would he want to come running into my arms before all these people present here especially when it’s his fiancee burial ceremony.
Just then did I realize that the woman who was crying in my arms has fainted and was about to hit the marble floor which she stood on with her head. Time was too fast that I tried to stop her from hitting the ground but I was too late, Xander already have her in his arm then my mind suddenly went off.
This is the second time I would be thinking that he is coming for me only for him to come for another person. I was really mad that I stood where I was and didn’t bother moving a feet to help with whom they were trying to bring back.
In my mind, I couldn’t stop praying for her not to survive it as he carried her in his arms and ran out of the house in a rush while the others rush behind him sane as dad and mom who also rushed after him.
But when they realize I wasn’t moving from the s₱0t I was cause am also convince on what really happened in those minutes I was unconscious…

This is the second time I would be thinking that he is coming for me only for him to come for another person. I was really mad that I stood where I was and didn’t bother moving a feet to help with whom they were trying to bring back.
In my mind, I couldn’t stop praying for her not to survive it as he carried her in his arms and ran out of the house in a rush while the others rush behind him sane as dad and mom who also rushed after him.
But when they realize I wasn’t moving from the s₱0t I was cause am also convince on what really happened in those minutes I was unconsciously thinking and standing and staring at him while my brain was doing the thinking.
” What are you still doing standing here?” Mom asked the moment she reaches my side while dad and her began to drag me out of my confused state then we began to run out of their house while people also began to run out of their house also.
I didn’t know the reason everything are like this but I had to just follow what everyone is doing till we get to where I know mom would obviously tell me what exactly is happening and same as dad even if mom can not tell me herself.
We ran down to our car and I was being pushed into the car real quick while they both entered into tye car and my dad began to tell at the driver who is still trying to get the key to the drivers door.
” Just get this done already or you should get me my keys then I can move already before something else happen to that woman!” Dad yelled angrily and he quickly get his sh*t done and get into the car then brought the engine back to life.
” Can someone tell me what is actually going on because it’s like am the only one lost here.” I said staring at them as they both stare at me back.
” Don’t tell me you don’t actually know what happened back in there.” Mom said pointing back at their house while I shook my head telling them I know nothing that just happened.
” Do you think she’s not sick at all ?” Mom asked while dad shook his head illustrating he does not know if I am or not.
” Maybe we should run some test on her once we get to the hospital he took her to.” Mom said while I began to pick one and two together then I realized that they were talking about Serena mom who fainted son minutes ago.
The same woman who made me fool myself the second time thinking Xander was coming to me, but why? I thought angrily and feeling so jealous…

” Do you think she’s not sick at all ?” Mom asked while dad shook his head illustrating he does not know if I am or not.
” Maybe we should run some test on her once we get to the hospital he took her to.” Mom said while I began to pick one and two together then I realized that they were talking about Serena mom who fainted son minutes ago.
The same woman who made me fool myself the second time thinking Xander was coming to me, but why? I thought angrily feeling so jealous.
Don’t ask, don’t ask, don’t bother asking, it would only hurt you the more if you ask for the reason why everything is like this. I said to myself trying to stop myself from receiving a heart breaking reason for him to care for her that way.
But the curious me wouldn’t stop disturbing the back of my mind just to ask my parents why he decided to still care for her even after her daughter is dead and I thought they both said he isn’t interested in her that it was all for business but what am seeing isn’t for business.
It’s like he has a hidden feelings for her even though he tried to hid it so much, even away from her. If my heart is going to be damaged today than it has been already, then it should be because I can keep on letting this thought in my head and at the back of my mind to continue to disturb my peace.
” Why did Serena mom fainted which made Xander carry her with such speed out of the house then?” I asked stopping the jealousy in my tone from showing as I suppressed it.
” The News of her daughter being confirmed dead already really hit her on the bad s₱0t that she fainted right before you but you were so lost that we all thought you also heard and wanted to faint just like her also.
But am surprised that you didn’t hear when the News was being shared right beside you.” Mom explained then I nodded as only five different words out of her head kept ringing in my head as my mouth formed into a smile.
“That she is being confirmed dead which means her body can’t be found?” I asked after laughing while I stare at them to be sure I heard them right.
” Yes, she has been confirmed dead due to the fact that her body couldn’t be found and they said she might have drown and been washed away by the ocean or she was being swallowed by the sea animal.
Which means they can’t find her even with all these assumption and she is being confirmed dead same has the case which has been closed already.” Mom said making me bust out laughing till I realize they are looking at me in a suspicious way then I decided to change the laughter to tears.
You can never catch up with me, I thought as I scre-med while dragging on my hair…
