Episode 5.

“Where are we going to?” I asked as the horse kept running along.
“To drop the princesses.” He replied coldly.
“Your horse is too slow,.” He scoffed.
Really?
“Moo, show them what you’ve got.” I whispered and Moo increased his gait that we passed the Prince and his carriage.
But it seems he’s making a competition out of it. He sped along and passed moo.
His horse kept a high speed along the Rocky cliff that the Carriage bounced behind and I heard shouts from the princesses.
“Prince Kyle, stop.” I yelled behind but something happened.
The carriage separated from the horse and it tumbled continuously falling down the cliff.
“Noo!!!!” I scre-med and rushed down.
Can they survive it?”
“You are so stubborn.” I yelled as Kyle as we run down the cliff.
“Dont put the blame on me.” He sneered.
“Don’t be scared, we’re okay.” Ariana said as she crawled out from the damaged carriage.
Anastasia also came out. They both dusted their clothes and glared at Kyle.
“Stubborn cunt.” Anastasia cursed but Kyle huffed.
“Don’t blame me.”
I was dumbfounded for a while, how could they survive that. No injury, no scratch.
That’s impossible. Totally impossible.
“Now the Carriage is damaged, how are we gonna do. You don’t expect me to sit on your stinking horse.” Anastasia sneered.
“Of course, I can’t even slow you to sit on my horse with your stinking butt.” Kyle fired.
“I’ll climb on Nikos horse.” Anastasia said and smirk as she came to me.
“I hope your horse is friendly?” She asked and I nodded.
I helped her up to the horse as she sat with a smile.
“Ariana climb on mine.” Kyle said.
“Luna is so stubborn, would he permit me to.” Ariana whimpered to her brother like she don’t want the horse to eavesdrop.
“Am here, he’ll agree”
“Luna…” She called the horse name sed-ctively.
The arrogant horse huffed and snorted.
“Luna keep calm.” Kyle ordered and he obeyed.
Kyle helped her up to the horse.
Let’s go then.” I said and the two horses started galloping.
Not too fast. Not too slow.
“Anastasia clutched my body firmly and relaxed her head on my back.” Her hands were on my stomach and she car-ssed them slowly.
She’s risking her life.
“You’re enjoying it right?” She asked and I chuckled.
“Why won’t I.” I replied as moo kept gaiting.
This time, she was the one who chuckled.
Then she said something.
“Don’t worry, I promise to give you a rom-ntic m-ssage when am back.” She said.
“Back?, where are we heading to?”
“Shlan”
“Shlan? What for?”
“My dad ordered I and Ariana to be there for a week.”
“Why?”
“Am not in a position to answer that.” She responded.
“Why do they stop?” She asked as we noticed Kyle stopped his horse with Ariana.
“What’s wrong?” I asked as I stepped down from my own horse.
“Let’s take a nap.” He said and sat on the des**t floor.
“Shlan is a two days journey. So we ought to be resting at regular intervals ” he said and I nodded.
Better, cause am tired.
“Let’s go over there.” Ana pulled me along as we went under a tree.
She sat and dragged me to sit with her.
We kept looking at each other.
Then something w-t touched my l-ips. Something soft. I shut my eyes for a moment and opened them.
I saw her k-ssing me. The most exquisite thing ever.
I would have stop for the sake of her life but I can’t.
I just can’t.
I held her hair as the k-ss went intense. So hot, so rom-ntic, so endearing, so enchanting, affection set in, self consciousness set out.
I wasn’t in a conscious state to think the risk involve, all I could think of was the luscious l-ips which was mending with mine.
“I love you, Anastasia.” I said ignoring the repercussion of the abominable words.
She’ll die, that’s a sure thing but I can’t help it. I can’t hide my feelings just because of a stupid curse.
I kept k-ssing her as I await her death but nothing came.
She’s still alive.
“Anastasia….” I called as I teased her tongue with mine.
“Nikos..” She responded absentmindedly
She’s alive. That’s a mystery. Why isn’t she dead. (Not that I want her to be dead). But she ought to be dead.
Wow…Is she immortal.
No.
Then what.
“She’s your soul mate.” My subconscious told me and my joy knew no bounds.
“She’s the one.”
I hugged her tight as tear dropped down my eyes.
“I love you.” I said.

“Do you know how to hunt” Kyle asked
“Yes, why?”
“Our food got scattered in the Carriage. So we’ve no choice than to go hunting.” He said as he held his knife firmly.
A small kitchen knife. Is that what they used in hunting.
“Alright. Let’s go then.”
“I’ll be right back, Anastasia.” I shouted to her who was with her ‘plain’ sister.
“Wait!!.” Ariana shouted as she rushed towards us.
She shouldn’t get too intimate with me. I’ve found my soul mate.
She got closer.
“Can you come with me, for a while.” She said to me and I gave her a puzzled glare.
“I won’t waste your time.” She said.
“I’ll be right back.” I said to Kyle and followed her.
“You’ve to be careful.” She said as we got out from earshot.
“Hmm.” Was all that came from my mouth.
“Take this. Always put it on.” She removed her necklace and handed it to me.
I took it with less enthusiasm.
“Be safe.” She said and with that, she walked out.
Dramatic.
I walked back to Kyle as we went for our search.

“Aargh.” I gro-ned as the sharp pain from a knife pierced my back.
It seems my body was being chopped off.
“Kyle?”
He took a heavy plank and flogged my head with it.
That’s how I passed out.
