Chapter Sixty three
Ares
” they is no way I would do that” Zoe kept grumbling on our way back from the cinema ” they didn’t allow us in because we brought outside food?? Who does that ” she is yelling now but back there she was quite just shaking her head ” am glad we left there. Those people are stupid ”
Ignoring her I focus on the road, my mind partially occupied with peach, I dont know why?? I can’t stop thinking about her, did she recite some ancient spell before k-ssing me, all what I can think of is her
Damn not, this isn’t something good. What did she do to me ” Ares!!” Zoe voice got my attention and I stare at her ” we just passed your house ” looking around I gro-n, it has gotten to this point I can’t think straight. Driving back, I pack the car, open my door and step out
Placing my hand on the car I gro-n, it felt like someone pounding my head with full force and the only face I can see is peach but someone is calling me, I blink my eyes but peach is all I see ” peach ” I feel a hot sting on my cheek
I blink thrice finally seeing clearly ” little mouse ” I muttered ” did you just slap me ” I rise my brow at her, she look worried ” what’s wrong, tell me ”
” is nothing ” I muttered smiling ” just a migraine nothing else ” holding myself I manage to walk in,side the house before laying on the couch, my breathing heavy all of a sudden, sweats forming on my forehead ” f-ck!”
” Ares what’s wrong ” she touch my forehead, check my eyes, my piles then open my mouth ” oh my god ” she gasp, her eyes fill with worry ” your tongue is black ”
” which means ??” I asked, am losing my power, I could feel myself getting weak as minutes pass by ” peach is trying to control you, trying to make you think of only her, make you her slave that will do anything for her” Zoe muttered ” the mula of love, an ancient love spell done by k-ssing ”
” how do you get rid of this ” I asked, my head hurt seriously, I couldn’t even see clearly anymore, everything has peach face on it, her long dark hair, those grey eyes shining and the pink k-ssable l-ips just for me
Using my hands I slap my face, what the hell am I thinking, peach isn’t beautiful but ugly ” I dont know Ares, only the person that cast the spell can free you. You’re in peach hands now ”
Zoe
I stand and watch Ares suffer, fighting against the spell, is either peach set him free or the person he loves k-ss him, taking the spell instead of him which means if I k-ss him, I will be under peach control
Should I do that, do I want peach all over Ares, touching and doing whatever she wants to do to him. This is really a tough decision, maybe Ares is made for peach and he should learn to love her
Maybe he will realize I don’t love him to sacrifice this much for him, he is someone I should fight. I never knew peach could be this cruel, she always act like my friend, gist and follow me around but I dont really care if she want Ares, she can have him
I step back, Ares look at me confused ” what’s wrong ” he asked, he looks so sad ” isn’t there any other Zoe, isn’t there any other way for me to think about only you ” why is he saying that, I cover my mouth and shake my head
I watch him clench his fist and nod ” what do you take me as Zoe ” he smile ” a fool that dont know about ancient spells, you should know am a half wizard ” he shook his head, I know his head still hurts ” its funny that I will think am finally getting to you and the next minute you’re pushing me away ” his gaze met mine, he smiled ” I understand, am your enemy, you can’t k-ss me and take this pain, you hate me ”
” I dont hate you ”
” you dont love me either ” he smile ” am a guy forcing himself on you” he close his eyes and gro-n inwardly ” I won’t force you anymore, I might not even care about you any moments from now, its funny that I almost killed myself for you but you can’t do the same. You’re not my Zoe, I dont know who you are anymore. I just” he fall to his knees and hold his chest, what am I doing, am watching him pass through all this pain ” I want my little mouse back, that’s all I ask ” a tear drop from his eyes before peach appear grinding all over
” he is mine now Zoe ” I watch Ares eyes turn completely dark, he smile while standing and walk towards peach, cup her face and k-ss her. My hands clench together, I watch him k-ss her deeply and I can’t do anything, am not his Zoe, am not his little mouse
For some reason that word hurt like a arrow thrown to my chest, grabbing Ares hand I pull him away from her ” stop doing that ” slapping him, I watch him frown then slap me, I didn’t bulge which surprise me
I stare at Ares, he is fighting, he is holding back ” dont you interfere with Ares and I Zoe ” peach walk closer ” he doesn’t belong to you ”
” he belongs to no one peach” I step closer ” I thought you were kind, I taught you were good, I trusted you like a friend ”
” have you forgotten the saying that, don’t trust a book by its cover. You saw what I wanted you to see, everybody knows you were in love with Ares and they were scared you will meet him and fall again that’s why they lock you up ” peach gro-n ” you aren’t strong compare to me, they treated you like a Queen which was absurd, you didn’t deserve all that, you are just a lowly trash I will ruin ”
I watch her clap her hands, Ares charge towards me, I had no idea what’s happening and before I could think clearly a sword was in my hands already Pierce into Ares heart, a dark sword which means it contain poison
I blink at everything happening so fast, blood dripping from Ares while we stare at each other, his eyes back to silver, peach laughter fill the room before she vanish ” Ares” a tear left my eyes, he pull the sword out of his chest before falling to the floor ” Ares!!” Shaking his shoulder he didn’t respond
” Ares please dont leave me ” I cover my mouth, I killed him, is not possible, a poison doesn’t work that fast. Everything is coming back to me ” please, I love you so much” my body is trembling, I dont know what to do
A tear left Ares eyes, he smile before closing his eyes ” Ares” shaking his shoulder no respond ” Ares!!! Wake up, we will find help ” no response ” Ares!!!”

Chapter Sixty Four :
Zoe
My body kept trembling, Ares already turn cold, what should I do, how did it get to this point, the only thing I saw was Ares walking towards me, I wasn’t holding a sword
Starring at Ares it felt like I was in shock with what was happening, I had no idea what to do and what not to do but am sure of one thing Ares shouldn’t leave me, he has passed through a lot for me and now he wants to leave me??
Lifting the sword I inhale the scent, still the Acria of death but this time it didn’t last for five hours before working, it took effect immediately, which means peach set the time behind its work but then why did she give him five hours the last time
Dropping the sword I place my ears on Ares chest, his heart is still beating but very slow, I still have time, he isn’t totally gone, I can save him. Opening his mouth I close my eyes and recite the ancient spells but nothing came out
I know I recite them correctly but still yet nothing is working, last time he drank the poison but this time it was stab straight to his heart. Peach knew I could drag the poison so that’s the reason she resulted in making me stab his chest, the poison moving to his heart immediately. That way five hours isn’t needed, it starts it work immediately
Once the poison is in his heart they is only one way to cure him, to find the antidote but where do I start, if I can get the spells book from the descendants layer I can make one for him. I have to do this
Using magic I lift Ares to my room, place him on the bed, recite an spell to make his heart keep beating till I return. His face looks so pale, I really hurt him, I never knew I could do such a thing to Ares
How could I forget how much we love each other, he almost died for me and I couldn’t do the same for him ” am sorry ” a tear drop from my eyes ” am sorry for everything, I hurt you didn’t I, I broke your heart, I made you cry, please believe I didn’t mean to do all that, I was stupid” I sniff ” I forgot how much I love you, who does that, who leaves the one they love. I know you’re angry, you have a right to be but dont you dare leave me alone in this world, am going to get your cure, so please wait. Wait for me ” k-ssing his forehead I exhale ready for what ever is coming

Successfully entering their hide out I hide behind the dressing room, Sonia seems to be on guard during this time, if I can get her to help me then everything will be easy. I just need to find where she is
The wh0le place fill with descendants roaming about, it won’t be easy to get into the training room, I know peach must have spread rumors already. Thinking for a second, a spell got into my head, I have never tried it before but I hope it work
Touch of resemblance, with this spell I can look like whoever I want, I recite the spell picking Sonia body, it all about hallucinations, people see what I want them to see. Walking into the crowds people wave me hands and I do the same
Arriving in the training my face grow into smiles, that’s was too smooth, hope nothing happen, opening the door I walk quietly in, close it and tip toe towards the book of spells placed in the middle of the hall, no one seem to be here
” I got it” lifting it up I close it and place it close to my chest, looks like the gods are with me today, I can’t keep Ares waiting I have to hurry back to him
Turning around I stop on my tracks, Fred stood there starring at me, his gaze move to the book then my face ” Sonia??” Swallowing I had nothing to say to him, my voice isn’t like Sonia’s, he will know the difference, I can’t talk if not all I work for will be burn to ashes
If this place doesn’t have a magic circle around it I should have been able to disappear, Fred step forward ” look am sorry about what happen last night, am your trainer, that wasn’t supposed to happen ”
Looks like Sonia should be mad at him for some reasons so I just smile at him to get this over with ” so you’re no longer angry right “I nod ” am glad you understand, the k-ss was amazing I swear its just me ” Sonia and Fred k-ssed???
My eyes w¡den at that, I must look surprise ” Sonia, are you okay ” blinking my eyes I stare at Fred, Sonia likes Fred and he is trying to push her away but I dont have time for match making
I quickly nod my head and walk pass him, hoping he won’t drag me back or try to stop me, I dont have time for this ” Sonia??” I clench my fist together, my anger rising ” where are you taking that book to ” turning around I meet Fred curious eyes, what do I do, how do I get out of this without talking ” Sonia??”
I should run, they is no other way, Fred and I stare at each other before I suddenly turn and start running, the door seem to be far, Fred footsteps are drawing closer ” who are you !!” He yell, I didn’t respond, just kept running then suddenly stopped
Sonia and peach walk in the same time, I blink my eyes, I have no idea what to do now or how to get the hell out of here. Sonia stare at me confused but peach seem to be smiling
I have to hurry back to Ares but how?
