“Jerry… What the…” Leela blinked shockingly.
“Ela… F**k!” Jericho replied.

Asher and Rana faced the ground, unable to look up as a result of shame.
It took a lot of courage to come here since no one’s ready to employ betrayers, this place is like their last hope.
“What the hell are you both doing here?” Jericho asked, still holding Leela’s waist.
They both kept quiet, still not looking up.
“I just asked what the hell you both are doing in here!” He yelled, and they both flinched.
Rana was the first to go down on her knees, dropping her CV on the ground.
“I’m so sorry, I… I really need a job, I’ve been rallying around for it since… Since my betrayal,but… No one is… No one is ready to hire me, I’m in a lot of debts, and I need to settle them as fast as possible” she said guiltily.
“Geez” Leela muttered.
Asher went on his knees too, right beside Rana.
“I know my presence definitely disgusts you right now, but can you please forgive my mistakes and… Please hire me? I’m in debts too, I’ve even sold my house to rent a smaller one, Jericho please…
“Don’t call my name!” Jericho shouted, and he shifted back on the ground.
“You think my name belongs in your mouth? You lost the right bastard! And now you had the guts to step into my office for a job? Gawd! You’re not only heartless but shameless!” Jericho shouted, finally releasing Leela’s waist.
“I’m so sorry Jericho, please forgive me this once, I promise to make it up to you” Rana said, and Jericho closed his eyes.
“Gawd, my blood is boiling, I wanna kill” he muttered, his body shaking with fury.
Leela held him quickly, making sure his face is ok hers.
“Calm down sweetheart, calm down ok?” She rubbed his chest, hugging his face eventually.
“Calm down, relax baby” she whispered, stroking his hair.
“What should I do? Tell me anything and I’ll do it” he replied, and she broke the hug to hold his face.
“Having them around means awkwardness, they caused you do much pain so letting them stay means housing your pain yourself, I don’t want to see you in pains anymore, so please… ” She said, and he smiled widely, then he kissed her forehead.
“I love you baby”
“I love you more” she replied, and he faced the two who’re still kneeling.
“Leave, right now” he said, and Rana started crying.
“I said leave!” He shouted.
“Jericho, think about the time we spent together and…
Jericho dialled a line on his telephone, a four securities came in after a minute.
“Take them out” he ordered, and they followed immediately, grabbing the two.
“Jericho please don’t send me away! Jericho I’m so sorry! Jericho you’re my last hope! Jericho!!!” Asher shouted.
“Jericho don’t do this, you’re a nice person so please don’t…
Rana’s words were interrupted by a slap from nowhere, and her eyes widened madly when she looked ahead to see Amelia.
“So because he’s nice, you took the niceness for granted and played with his feelings? Nice is old-fashioned right now, old things are gone, and you need to leave too. Slut!” She spat and pushed her back to the securities who grabbed her again.
“Jericho!!!” She cried as she was taken out.
“How the hell did they get in Richo?” Amelia asked, sitting in front of them.
“They’re the applicants for the team” he replied, and her eyes widened.
“What the hell! Really? Their situation must be very bad, serves them right” she laughed hard.
Jericho carried Leela and placed her back on the table, then he brushed his nose on hers before starting to stroke her hair backwards.
“Thanks for coming into my life, baby” he whispered, and she smiled, hanging her arms on him.
“I love you”
“I love you more” he replied, and they started leaning in for a kiss.
“Seriously? I heard you guys even make out in front of your staffs, and now it’s my turn to see this sinful act?” Amelia said, and they faced him at once.
“You’re still here?” They asked at once too, and she blinked before standing.
“Forget it, I’ll just go look for Pepper” she rolled eyes and left the office.
Without wasting another minute, Jericho pulled Leela in, capturing her lips in the sweetest way ever.
“Hard” she mumbled in his mouth, and he hardened it, kissing deeper into her mouth.
She unbuttoned his shirt within a minute, and she slipped it down his upper arm, then she began caressing him as they kissed deeper.
He grabbed her butt and squeezed the two parts in his soft palms, eliciting a moan from the back of her throat into his mouth.
“I love you madly, so madly, Jerry”
“I love you more, baby” he replied in a groan, then he began unbuttoning her shirt too till the last button.
He pulled up her bra, and her b**bs dropped beneath.
They got trapped in his palms, and her legs caged his waist as he began his ministrations on her babies.
“Ohhh” she moaned loudly again, and that was when Anastasia came in to submit some documents.
“Oh my eyes!” She gasped, rushing out immediately.
“We forgot to close the door” Leela breathed.
“Let’s do it this way” Jericho replied and carried her gently, taking her into his office room.
He dropped her gently on the bed, and their lips returned to interlock in their mouths as he layed on her.
Ten minutes later, louder moans rented the air as he slid into her.

ONE WEEK LATER~A BEACH
Robert and Anastasia ran to the shore at the same time, then they faced each other. They’re here on a date actually.
“Rock, paper, scissors!” They chorused. Robert folded his fist while Anastasia released a finger
“You lost!” He laughed, carrying her. Her hat fell from her head
“Wait wait! Wait Robert! Robert!” She screamed as he threw her in the water.
“Boo!!!” He shouted in mockery as she struggled to stand in the water.
Immediately she stood straight, Rice stood beside her, and his eyes widened.
“Maurice?”
“Big bro!” She gasped.
“Rice is your sister?” Anastasia said surprisingly.
“Who are you here with?” Robert asked.
“Maurice the milkshake is ready!” Kenji shouted, appearing beside the water with the cups.
“Wait…. What!” Rivers gasped.
“Kenji!” Anastasia gasped too, and the cups fell from him.

TEN MINUTES LATER
“He’s two years younger than you, he’s 18 and you’re 20 Maurice” Robert said
They’re far from the shore right now. Maurice and Rice are standing in front of them.
“I’m turning 20 by December, I’m still 19, so it’s a year” Maurice replied slowly, and Kenji grabbed her hand.
“We love each other, isn’t that what matters?” He said.
“How’ll Nadine take this?” Anastasia said.
“She’s aware” they both chorused.
“What!” Anastasia and Robert chorused too, and they nodded at once.
“This is crazy” Robert said.
“I know, right?” Anastasia replied, and her phone rang immediately.
It’s Jericho.
“Boss!” She shouted after swiping green.
“I need your help Tasia” he replied, and her eyes widened.
“Is it what I’m thinking?”
“Maybe” he replied, and she jumped.
“Yes!!!!”
“What?” Robert asked curiously.
“You’ll find out soon, let’s go!” She screamed, pulling him out of the place.

7PM~ MONTREALS’MANSION
Leela smiled to herself after putting finishing touches to her makeup, then she stood and turned around in front of the mirror, looking so hot in her short red gown. The bullet necklace is still on her neck.
It’s her most valued possession right now, the bullet he took because of her. She kissed it and smiled again.
She’s going on a date with Jericho tonight.
She sprayed herself and carried her bag, leaving the room.
“Why is there no one at home?” She wondered walking out of the house.
A red limo stopped in front of the house immediately, and she rushed to it, expecting to meet him, but it’s only Eric, his secretary.
“Boss ordered me to pick you up” he smiled.
“Where’s he?” She asked.
“He’s waiting” he replied, and she entered the car with thousands thoughts in her mind.
Why would he send his secretary to pick her up? It’s the first time it’s happening, and that too on a date night.
She drove her to the resturant, and immediately she came down, he drove off.
She got more confused as she stepped into the restaurant, but the more confusing thing is that no one is in sight, not even him. It’s just silent.
She looked around for the third time, then she dropped her bag.
“Jerry!” She shouted, walking around the place.
“Jerry where are you?”
“Jerry!”
Immediately she got to the center, a bright spotlight shone on her, and her eyes widened as she stopped walking.
She looked up at the colourful spotlight in astonishment, then she looked ahead again, and her eyes widened when she finally saw Jericho. He’s on a red suit m, looking insanely dashing as he walked to her.
“Jerry” she whispered when he finally got to her.
He smiled handsomely and went on a knee in front of her .
She gasped loudly.
“Jerry…
“Though our meeting was rather funny, but that fun was part of why I fell so hard for you. I spend my honeymoon with you, and I didn’t regret it. It was supposed to be a gloomy sorrowful one, but you brightened it up. You stood by my, made me happy, made me smile and protected me. I want you to continue calming me on rainy nights, continue driving me mad with your body, continue driving me crazy with your smile and presence, and I promise never to finish falling for you, I’ll forever be falling for you baby …” He said it all and revealed a glittering ring box which he opened slowly.
The beautiful ring made her cover her mouth with her palms.
“Please, let’s get married, Ela” he smiled, and she covered her face with her palms completely.
She stood still for minutes before taking the hands off, then she smiled and leaned in, tendering her left fingers.
“Sure, yes Jericoco!” She said funnily, and he smiled again before slipping the ring gently into her finger.
It fitted perfectly, and he stood immediately, pulling her into a tender kiss which sealed the bond.
“Yes!!!!!!!” Everyone screamed, finally coming out of their hiding places.
“Have you guys kissed?” Amelia said.
“Trust them” Anastasia replied.
“Kiss a-gain!”
“Kiss a-gain!”
They began chorusing, and the lovebirds drew each other closer again in another heartwarming kiss.
“Awww!!!!!”
“Finally, grandkids soon!” Helen shouted.
“I can’t wait!” Nadine jumped.
“They were still kissing when the blinds on the wall opened, revealing the glass wall.
From there, they beheld the beautiful fireworks that are popping and whistling in the night sky, and they all faced it, staring happily.
Robert held Anastasia’s hand, and they smiled at each other.
Kenji did the same.
Amelia rolled eyes at Pepper, and he smiled in reply.
Helen looked at Leela and Jericho, smiling proudly.
Today can pass as her happiest.
The lovebirds looked at each other, and their eyes locked.
“I love you, Ela” he whispered, holding her hand.
“I love you more, my man” she replied, and they returned to staring at the fireworks at once.
Destined hearts can’t be torn apart. No matter the circumstances, they’ll be.
