She suddenly took his hands off her face, and she leaned in like that, kissing his lips.
🗣️ OMG!!!
The loud scream from everyone made her break the kiss, making it short.
Her eyes widened when she finally saw them, and she pouted immediately.
“Mum!!!” She shouted like a kid
“Baby!!!” Helen hugged her in bed, and she started crying again.
“I swear I missed you so much, but I never wanted to tell you cos I knew you’d be too scared, I missed you very much mum”
Helen tightened the hug, stroking her hair.
“I missed you more, Leela, you won’t know how happy I am right now. Don’t you dare leave me again” she sniffed, breaking the hug to wipe her tears.
“Sis!” Nadine sat on her other side.
“Leela!” Kenji joined her, and they hugged at once.
“After one long month, after…. After one month Leela, I missed spending your salary with you” Nadine sniffed, and Leela couldn’t stop her laughter afterwards.
“I missed you I swear, I missed you more” Kenji said, and she smiled, stroking their hairs.
Immediately they broke the hug, Anastasia sat in front of her and hugged her tight.
“Don’t say anything bestie, just hug me back for now. I missed you” she said.
Leela nodded on her shoulder, hugging her back slowly.
“I missed you more”
“Told you not to talk, daughter of Jezebel” Anastasia replied, and Leela laughed.
They broke the hug and hugged again.
“Gosh! I missed you baby!”
“Robert!” She waved at him, and Robert smiled.
“I’m just glad I’m looking at you right now, it’s all that matters” he replied.
“She’s awake!!!” Amelia ran in, and Leela blinked as she jumped on the bed with her.
“Amelia?” She said, and Amelia nodded.
“Your sister-in-law”
“Aww! I’m glad you’re fine too!” Leela hugged her tightly, and Jericho smiled large.
Who knew what was supposed to be a lonely, sorrowful honeymoon would turn out to be the best experience of his entire life.
Within a month, he fell in love again. Head over heels this time, madly with the love of his life. His ruined wedding turned out to be a blessing in disguise, he got to meet a rare gem whom he’s willing to keep for the rest of his life, with his life. It feels like he has finally met his woman.
Amelia broke the hug, and he stood.
Leela knelt on the bed, and he held her face. “Thanks for coming into my life, Leela Montreal” he whispered, giving her the most affectionate look there is. His eyes are glittering with emotions she perfectly understood.
“My man” she smiled, and he leaned in again, kissing her gently.
“Awww!!!” Anastasia shouted.
“Mum when are they picking a date for their wedding? I can’t wait to start telling my friends that CEO Armstrong is my brother-in-law” Kenji said.
“When is she changing from Leela Montreal to Leela Armstrong?” Nadine asked.
“Should we get it done next month?” Helen said.
“Yes!!”
Robert smiled widely, feeling much happiness right now.
He crushed on her for one whole year, but turns out fate has other plans. She’s not for him after all.
He looked at Anastasia and smiled again, then she looked his way, and their eyes met.
They began smiling at each other.
Amelia was smiling too, and before she knew it, she began shedding tears of joy.
At long last, she got reunited with her brother.

NEXT DAY~G-GLOBAL
Anastasia came down from her car, black shades on.
Robert’s car stopped beside hers, and he came out too.
They gave each other the knowing smiles, and Anastasia dipped her right hand into her palazzo pocket as they walked in.
They received stares as they made their ways to the manager’s office, and they were lucky to meet Jimmy on seat
“Who are you…
Anastasia removed her shades, and his eyes widened.
“Ana?”
“Don’t f**king call me that!!!!” She shouted, climbing his desk.
She ran to him and gave him a sound kick which sent him flying to the far ground.
Robert locked the door and went to him, pulling him up roughly. His mouth was already bleeding as a result of the kick.
“I didn’t even breath when you f**ked my girlfriend, but I guess now is the time” he smiled.
“Robert I swear it was…
Robert interrupted with a punch, and he fell at Anastasia’s feet.
Anastasia kicked him back to Robert, and Robert kicked him again, sending him to the wall.
Immediately his body hit it, he passed out, bleeding severely.
“Bastard” Anastasia muttered, putting on her glasses again.
“Do you feel better now?” Robert asked.
“Much better” she replied, and they smiled again before walking out together.

A RESTAURANT
“Guys!!!” Kenji screamed, running in.
“You took too long, I’m dying to hear gists” Harry said as he sat with them.
“If it’s about Leela, then everything is true. She’s CEO Armstrong’s girlfriend” Kenji replied proudly.
“The hell! You’ll soon become the brother-in-law of the richest…” Jasper gasped.

“CEO in Vegas! Kenji let’s be friends forever, I’ll spend the money with you” Quentin said, and Kenji laughed.
“Rana Gill lost a treasure” Harry said.
“Means he’s not made for her, he was made for my Leela” Kenji winked, and they all laughed.
“Has anyone heard the latest gist?” Harry suddenly said.
“What?” Jasper asked.
“Marcus broke up with Charlotte, and she’s currently in the hospital as a result of the shock” Harry said.
“What the f**k!” Quentin and Jasper chorused.
“Yes!” Kenji stood and began jumping.
“I’m so happy right now!”
“Isn’t that Marcus’s sis? Why is she always around us” Harry said, looking at a part of the resturant.
The guys turned there, and truly she’s just standing from her seat. Her glasses fell from her eyes, and she picked it before wiping the tears in her eyes, then she walked out.
“Tears? Did she get stood up?” Quentin said.
Kenji quickly ran to her, and he caught up in front of the restaurant.
“Maurice!” He grabbed her hand, and she turned to face him.
“Hey, Kenji” she smiled, trying to hide her wet eyes.
“I told you to stop coming to blind dates, now you got stood up” he said, and she sniffed, staring at the ground.
Kenji’s eyes caught her skirt, and he quickly took off his jacket.
“And why is your skirt so short” he said, wrapping it around her waist.
She looked at him and started hiccuping.
He finished tying and held her face, making her shiver.
“Stop going on blind dates, for real” he said.
“I’ve never dated, I just wanna try it….
“With me?” He cut her off, and her eyes widened.
“Huh? What…
“Let’s date, Maurice” he smiled, and her eyes widened more.

ONE MONTH LATER~BABEL HOLDINGS
The elevator to the topmost floor opened, and Jericho stepped out with Leela.
All the staffs stood immediately.
🗣️ Welcome boss!
🗣️ Goodmorning sir!

🗣️ Goodmorning!
They were holding hands as they smiled back at the greeting staffs, and then they got to the middle of the team office, they stopped walking.
Anastasia got hired as one of the teams, same with Robert.
“Let’s work hard today again, there’ll be a team dinner tonight, bills on me” Jericho announced.
🗣️ You’re the best boss!
🗣️ I can’t wait!
The staffs settled down again, and they resumed their walk, but a young boy suddenly bumped into Jericho.
“Wait… Tom?” He said, recognizing him as the boy he bought teddy bear for last month, the one he hired his mum.
“Tom! I told you to stop running around! This is a company!” The mother came running.
“It’s dad!” Tom said, and the woman quickly rushed over.
“Mr Armstrong!”
“You’re here, how’s photocopying?” Jericho smiled out his charms.
“I have to just thank you, you’re a good person, and I’m glad you got your real woman this time” she replied with a bow.
Leela blushed greatly.
“Why is Tom not in school?” He asked.
“They have a school break” she replied.
“Cool, I’ll see you later Tom!” Jericho fist bumped with him, and the woman smiled.
“I got myself a caring kind man” Leela teased as they walked the remaining distance to his office, and he smiled, giving her a short kiss.
He rubbed her hair, then he grabbed her waist, holding it till they finally entered.
“You have a visitor,boss” his secretary reported.
“Really?” He said, entering his office to meet Pepper.
“I’ll go make coffee” Leela said immediately.
“No you can’t, call my secretary” he replied, holding her waist still.
“Yunno how much I cherish making my own coffee” she winked, stylishly removing his arm from her waist
She kissed him lightly, then she winked before leaving.
“Dude!” Pepper smiled, and he rolled eyes.
They became tighter in the past one month, he became his only friend.
“I wonder why you changed from Mario to Pepper, now I can’t even say Mario without thinking about pepperoni” he said, and Pepper laughed as they sat together.
“Say congratulations” he said.
“What happened?” Jericho asked curiously.
“I’m starting my internship at Maria hospital next week!” He broke the news, and Jericho gasped.
“Really?”
“Trust me I’m getting my doctor’s license soon!” Pepper stood.
“I’m so happy for you!” Jericho spranged up, and they hugged tightly.
“Finally you’re about to make your dad proud up there!”
“I know, right?” Pepper replied, breaking the hug.
They smiled at each other and hugged again.
“Thanks for all you do, friend” Pepper said.
“Its nothing, it’s what I should do, you lost your dad cos of me” he replied, and they broke the hug.
“Don’t say that anymore” Pepper said, and Jericho smiled.
“Where’s the troublemaker?” Pepper asked.
“Amelia? She’ll be here soon” Jericho replied, and his eyes widened.
“I better be on my way, I can’t let her meet me here” he rushed out of the office, and Jericho laughed.
“He’s gone?” Leela came in.
“Yeah, you didn’t make me coffee?” Jericho replied, and she smiled as she walked to him.
“It’s on my lips, you can drink it from there” she said.
He immediately lifted her to the table, and their lips gummed in an intense kiss.
It was just starting when his secretary came in, but they still didn’t break it.
“Boss, I’m sorry but the applicants for management team 3 are here” she announced, and they broke it reluctantly.
“Why don’t you tell your secretary to interview them?” Leela whispered, holding his shoulders.
“Yunno how much I love taking care of things like this on my own” he replied, and she pouted.
“My kiss”
“We have an hour to make out after the interview” he winked, and she raised her hands up.
“Yes!”
He kissed her nose fondly and poked it before facing the secretary.
“Send them in” he said, and the lady left .
He placed Leela down from the table, then he sat, and she sat on his laps.
“I’m about to handle an interview, Ela” he said, but she even rested more on him.
“I don’t care, let’s do it together” she pouted, and he smiled, kissing her forehead.
The applicants finally came in, and their eyes widened immediately they beheld the two people.
Rana and Asher!
“Jerry… What the…” Leela blinked shockingly.
“Ela… F**k!” Jericho replied.
