Son of a b***ch!!!!!” They screamed, running madly to him at once.

Kenji’s kick was the first to meet his face, then Anastasia’s punch.
They pulled him up and began throwing heavy punches at his face, turn by turn.
“Bastard!” Kenji threw another punch.
“Motherf**ker!” Anastasia threw hers.
“Shitty face!” Kenji threw another.
“Mad fellow!” Anastasia hit him again.
“Moron!” Kenji threw his hit, and Blake began vomiting blood. The punches continued.
Helen ran to Jericho who was still holding Leela in his arms in blood and tears.
She knelt beside him and started crying too, holding Leela’s lifeless hand.
“How the hell did this happen? How did my baby and up here? How did it happen!” She cried loudly, touching her face.
Robert came closer and stared shortly at the scene, it’s just the way he saw it in his dreams, but the only difference is that he didn’t see Jericho’s face.
He sighed and knelt beside Helen, patting her to calm down.
“She’ll be fine, she’s strong” he said, and she nodded, crying louder.
The cops finally took Blake from Anastasia and Kenji, sliding the cuffs on his wrists.
“No I can’t leave my girlfriend!” He shouted, resisting arrest.
“I can’t leave Leela she’s wounded! I need to stay with her and take care of her! I can’t leave!” He shouted, struggling with the cops as he was dragged out.
“Leela I’m coming back! Wait for me! Leela look at me! I love you I swear it! I love you Leela! Leela!!!”
“Bestie!” Anastasia finally rushed to Jericho.
“She’s losing so much mood!” Kenji said fearfully.
“Let’s get her out of here guest” Nadine said, and Eric ran in immediately. Jericho’s secretary.
“Boss!” He gasped in shock.
“The car?” Jericho asked.
“It’s outside” Eric replied, and Jericho finally stood, carrying her out of the house.
No stretcher, so he placed her directly on his seat, and Helen entered with her, placing her head on her laps.
“She’ll be fine, Eric you need to drive fast” he said, and Eric got in the driver’s seat.
“Sure” he replied, driving away.
“Amelia” Jericho muttered at the brink of tears, and when he made to move, another set of cops arrived, and his eyes widened when Amelia came out of the car.
She started looking around for anyone who looks like the young version of Jericho, and when she finally set eyes on him, her eyes widened too.
“We found her with another man at the island” a cop said, and Jericho finally let out his tears.
“Amelia” he called out, and he began walking to her, but Amelia ran just three steps, and she jumped into his arms.
“Richo!” She cried like a baby, hugging him tightly.
“Amelia, Amelia… You… Is this really you?” Jericho cried.
“You’ve grown so big, you promised not to grow muscles but you got a lot of it, you broke your promise” Amelia cried, and when Jericho made to laugh despite his tears, his stomach hurts, and that’s when he remembered the stab.
Amelia noticed his wriggles and broke the hug, then she gasped when she noticed his stab and the bleeding shoulder.
“Richo!!!’ she started crying again.
“Mr Armstrong, you need to get treated as soon as possible” Robert said, and he took heed immediately.
Amelia guided him into the car which moved immediately.

THREE DAYS LATER~VEGAS CITY~A COFFEE SHOP
Anastasia stepped in, looking around for Robert as she stood by the door. They’re supposed to meet here.
She finally saw him when he waved, and she smiled before walking to him.
“I’m not late, am I?” She asked, sitting in front of him.
“No, but I only have twenty minutes to spend here, have to go back to work” he replied simply, and she nodded.
“Coffee?” He asked.
“The usual” she replied, and he ordered a cup of espresso for her.
“I’m glad everything is back to shape, though I didn’t really do a good job as her best friend” she said, playing with the straw.
“It’s fine, the psycho is in prison anyways, and Leela will wake up soon, so you don’t have to feel guilty, you did your best” he replied, and she moved awkwardly on her seat.
“By the way… I’m… I’m sorry” she said guiltily, and he looked at her.
“About what?”
“I… Talked shabbily to you when you warned me about Jimmy, I behaved like a b**ch all because of my blind feelings, I called you cheap and….
She started sniffing, and Robert leaned in.
“Wait… Don’t tell me you’re gonna cry”
She looked up and shook her head.
“I’m just so sorry, I know it’s hard to forgive, but I’ll keep apologizing till you’ll finally bring yourself to do it” she sobbed, and he smiled before sitting back.
“He’s actually the guy I told you slept with my girlfriend when she was drunk” he said, and her eyes widened.
“What!”
“That was what I was trying to let you know, but you were adamant” he said, and she started crying.
“I’m so sorry”
“I was never angry”
“Huh?”
“It takes more than that to make me angry, I was just disappointed” he said, and she blinked, facing the table.
“I know I’m a fool” she muttered, and he smiled.
“Yes you are”
“Yes I am” she replied, and he laughed.

HOSPITAL
Leela is in bed, still unconscious as her lashes hugged.
The transfusion of blood has stopped since yesterday, but she’s still on IV, and her monitor is beeping just fine.
Jericho is sitting on a chair beside her, wearing the hospital uniform since he got admitted too.
His eyes are on her, and he’s smiling.
The doctors assured that she’d be fine, and he just can’t wait for her to wake up soon.
He stretched his hand to her face and touched it gently, rubbing his thumb on her cheek.

“Wake up soon, banshee” he smiled again, taking her hand.
He kissed her knuckles, and Helen came in.
“You’re awake, Jericho” she said, dropping the food warmer with her on the table.
“Ma’am” he tried to stand, but she pinned him down.
“No, rest please”
He smiled and rested back, then she went to Leela and kissed her forehead.
“Wake up soon, I can’t wait to scold you for getting trapped with that monster without telling me” she said.
“I asked her why, and she told me you’d get scared if she told you at the phone booth, she said she wanted to overcome Blake before leaving the island” Jericho replied behind her, and she faced him.
She held his face like a kid, and Jericho blinked twice.
“I can’t stop thinking you, Mr. Armstrong, if it weren’t for you, who knows what that maniac would have done to her?” She said, and Jericho smiled.
“By the way I’m still curious about something, you introduced yourself as her boyfriend on phone, is it true?” She narrowed her eyes, still holding her face.
“Yes” Jericho smiled, and her eyes widened.
“For real?”
“Yes, we do love each other” he replied, and she blinked.
“Is this a dream or something? Wait… You’re Mr Armstrong right? The richest CEO in Vegas, the handsome kind man! My son-in-law!” She shouted, shaking his head.
“Ah!” He winced, and she quickly let go.
“Sorry son-in-law! Are you hungry? I can feed you” she said, going for the food warmer.
“Son-in-law? Are you telling me he’s really Leela’s boyfriend?” Anastasia came in.
“Husband-to-be” Helen replied, and Anastasia gasped
“Mr Armstrong!”
“Husband-to-be?” Kenji came in with Nadine.
“Our son-in-law for real” Helen said, and they gasped.
“The richest CEO in Vegas? OMG!” Nadine covered her mouth.
“Now I’m rich! Don’t worry brother-in-law, you have my whole support, when are you getting married?” Kenji smiled sheepishly.
“You’ll eventually die by money” Anastasia replied, and they all laughed out including Jericho himself.
“Jerry?” Leela’s voice called, and their eyes widened.

ANOTHER WARD
Pepper say in bed with a bandaged head, holding his rumbling stomach as he squeezed up his face.
“What the hell is taking her so long?” He muttered, and his stomach rumbled again.
“I’m here!!!” Amelia shouted, rushing in with his food.
“Took you long enough” he replied as she settled it on a tray in front of him, then he started eating fast.
“Don’t choke!” She hit his shoulder, and he looked up.
“I’m Jericho’s age yunno? Meaning I’m older by five years, you can’t just treat me anyhow”
“Age doesn’t matter, you behave like a kid” she replied.
“Kid? Did you just say kid? Really?”
“Just eat ok? Eat!” She rolled eyes, and he dropped his spoon.
“ti odio (I hate you)” he said.
“ti odio anche io (I hate you too)” she replied.
“You changed your name from Mario to Pepper? As in Pepperoni?” She continued, and he sighed.
“Can you get out of this ward? I need to digest my food” he said.
“I’m sorry” she said sweetly, sitting beside him.
“Big brother!” She smiled, hugging him.
Pepper smiled and took his spoon.
“Finally coming back to your senses” he said, but when he made to taste a spoon, Amelia hit his head, and the food poured on his nose instead.
“Bye!” She winked, rushing out of the ward.
“Amelia!!!”

LEELA’S WARD
“Ela” Jericho stood immediately he heard the voice.
Her eyes are already opened, and her oxygen mask is gone.
She tried sitting up immediately, but she couldn’t.
Jericho quickly helped her, and immediately she sat up, she held his face.
She’s seeing just him right now.
“You’re ok, right? You didn’t get hurt, you’re not in pains” she said, caressing his face.
“I’m ok, I’m fine baby. We did it, the maniac is gone, we can finally be together in peace” he replied, and tears rushed out of her eyes immediately.
“Gosh, I love you so much, I love you Jericoco”
“I love you too, banshee” he replied, wiping her tears.
She suddenly took his hands off her face, and she leaned in like that, kissing his lips.
