Maja’s POV▪▪
Today was boring and i just wish the day will end so i would just go back home and sleep. I have been thinking about lots of things lately. My phone on the table vibrated and i saw it’s a call from Toby, he have been calling me all day but i didn’t pick, i just want to be alone. I stare at the phone then picked up the call.
“Maja,” i heard Toby voice, he sound surprised.
“am glad you pick up my call,” he said again, he seems happy.
“well i just have to because you might end up running down my battery to 0%,” i rolled my eyes while i heard his chuckle.
“one of your funny jokes right? i miss you Maja. I have been so crazy thinking about the wh0le thing. Let just forget about last night and moved on. Am sorry Maja,” he cooed while i was speechless not knowing what to say.
“or, am coming over to pick you up,”
“no.. i will be fine,” i quickly cut him off.
“is that it? have you now break up with me? he scoffed.
“i just need some time alone…..
“time alone or maybe you have someone else already. Why are you acting as if you don’t even love me. You know what- let just break up,” he yelled and before i could say any other thing has already hanged up. Oh no! he seems so angry again. One thing i don’t like about him, he always flared up at every little thing, he get angry easily and always make inclusion to things according to his head. I like him so much and breaking up now isn’t the right option i only ask for a break because i want to think over this for the meantime and now he want to break up. I quickly call him back but he rejected the call.
Arrgh.. just when i thought things will gradually come back to normal but it’s only getting worse. I don’t want to break up with him… 😔

Alvary’s POV🌷
We had dinner together and am glad Jordan is here with us even thou i felt it wasn’t the right time to inform her bout our arrival just yet, it’s mom’s doing anyways.
“so this actually a surprise.. you should have told me you guys are coming earlier, i miss you so much.. like it been two years now,” she smiled.
“at least we always makes calls,” i said.
“yeah and am so happy you are back,”
“so are you sleeping over tonight? mom asked her while Jordan nodded happily.
“i will just text dad…
“no Jordan, i hope you haven’t tell him about our coming? i asked.
“sure, mom told me everything and how he turn out to be the one responsible for what happen to you,” she said while i just nodded. Mom can be so Annoying atimes why will she tell her that already.
“yes Jordan and i hope you won’t tell him anything yet,”
“i won’t. When it comes to you and mom i don’t joke with you and i feel like confronting dad because he keeps lying to me about everything , he kept denying the fact that he wasn’t responsible for what happen to you. Am sorry for everything,” she sigh.
“you don’t have to apologies that was all in the past,” i shrugged.
We finish eating in silence and Jordan went back to the kitchen to wash the dishes leaving me with mom at the dining table.
“mom why will you tell her about that?
“and since when have you start to doubt your sister. Stop thinking that way about her i don’t like it. Jordan won’t do anything to put our life at risk,” she said obviously pissed off.
“am not doubting Jordan am only having a bad feeling about the wh0le thing because Jordan has been with her dad for a very long time now. Mom i know Jordan is still my sister but remember Lewis was also the one who killed my father yet be appeared to be an angel and you fall for it by getting married to him in the first place,” i said angrily.
“and what did you mean by that?
“what i mean is that we shouldn’t trust Jordan just yet because she’s so close to her dad,”
“Alvary don’t let your hatred towards Lewis change your attitude towards your sister,”
“i know am just trying to be be careful,”
“well, i don’t want you make Jordan feel bad that’s all,”
“okay,” i muttered…

▪▪When Jordan was done washing the dishes she came back to the sitting room and we talked about lots of things thank goodness this time she didn’t involve Maja in any of our discussion. The rest of the evening was great, it’s just like a get together and am glad Jordan actually came, the house wasn’t boring because she keeps talking all the time, maybe my instinct were just wrong about her, she might have stayed with her dad but that doesn’t mean she’s like him.
I’ve also talked to officer Tagui and he said they’ve already traced one of our kidnappers and i felt relief maybe the truth will finally come out. Tagui said he couldn’t push through with the case or arrest the kidnapper just yet because it still a pending case but now that am back and am also the witness to everything that happen hey will have the man arrested as soon as possible, it good thing they monitor he’s every move so getting him arrested won’t be a problem. I felt so relief hearing that from him but i didn’t tell mom just yet because she might end up telling Jordan.

Lewis POV▪▪
I notice Jordan doesn’t sleep at home now i don’t know what she’s up to. I thought we are partners in whatever we do because she’s my daughter but at some point i feel she’s hiding something from me and it’s remaining just a week now, i don’t f-cking have a dime to pay the board and to worse the situation i don’t think Jordan is even helping matters at all.
I headed upstairs to her room, i need to talk to her, i need to know what she’s up to, she need to help me get that money from that so called org-nization by all means.
“okay mom, i will be on my way,” i heard her say from in,side, wondering who she’s talking to but i heard her saying mom. I quickly rushed back downstairs and sat down waiting for her to come out and just few minutes she came down downstairs already dressed up.
“so are you meeting with Adrian? what your plan? i asked angrily.
“dad, am doing my best i just have to go somewhere else for now?
“where?
“to see Toby, he’ll give me some money for the last mission we did,” she said while i just nodded wondering who she was on call with earlier i need to see everything for myself. She walked out and after some few minutes i went out and get into my car as i told my driver to trail behind her car wisely nd should maintain a far distance.

✨✨I asked my driver to stop at a far distance when we arrived to the place, i saw Jordan drove into the compound, the house seems so familiar to me. I sat down quietly as i tried to recall everything. She lied to me because this not definitely Toby’s house, it can never be!
“oh my,” i said in shocked recalling the wh0le thing. This belongs to Lena but the house has been abandon for some many years now, what business does she have here or is Lena back and why didn’t she tell me. I fumed in anger, that bastard son of hers is still alive and i promise to kill him myself this time., why is Jordan hiding this from me, i guess they’re actually up to something and Jordan is more focused on them instead of her focusing on my plans. I was still confused whether to go in or not, i have to make sure Lena is in,side because am not really sure, i have to confirm but i don’t think am going in now, i have to plan of something else….

Alvary’s POV▪▪
I rushed to the station when officer Tagui called me. The goddamn kidnapper was arrested. I reached to the cell and i saw him. Yes he’s the one, how can i ever forget his ugly face, the one who shoot Jordan and force me to break up with Maja. I moved close to him and the next thing i did was to punch him so hærd on his nose making him bleed.
“you still remember me? huh! i yelled angrily.
“am sure you were among the people who stabbed and shoot me,” i snapped angrily, i wanted to punch him again but one of the police quickly stopped me.
“we will handle him ourselves,” he assured me.
“now Henry, we only need the truth from you or else you’ll rot here in jail,” Tagui told him.
“tell us who the heck is that your boss, who send you to do that to me,” i asked angrily while he wipe the blood from his nose and glare at me.
“i was just following orders,” he laughed.
“orders from who? i asked impatiently…
“who else? i know you’ll be surprise. it been two years now and you couldn’t let this go. Telling you the truth won’t ever make you and that Maja get back together again,” he mocked and i felt like slicing his throat with my fingers.
“just tell me! and do not include Maja in this,”
“no who else but your sister,” he yelled while i slapped him.
“tell me the truth and don’t try to confused me here, you were the person that shoot her,” i yelled.
“Jordan and your dad are the mastermind behind it,” he said slowly with tears threatening to come out from his eyes….huh i thought he was a tough guy.
“Jordan? i asked again.
“yes.. it’s was all part of her plan just so you wouldn’t suspect a thing and it a good thing you were so dumb not to see that,” he yelled while i was shocked hearing that..
“Jordan.. i clinched my fist angrily….😣

Alvary’s POV▪▪
I watch the footage closely. This was the cctv footage the cops were able to get and Henry face shows clearly with some of his men.
“do you think he’s telling us the truth, why will Jordan do that? i asked officer Tagui.
“Henry will be in our custody and with that we will be able to trace some of those kidnappers, Jordan have to come for questioning too,” he said.
“okay officer, i will try to confirm that myself and she dare not deny anything,”
Am just fed up with everything, i feel so sad about this wh0le thing.

▪▪▪I went back home and it’s a good thing Jordan already left. I walked straight to the wine bar to have myself drunk.
“why the hell are you looking like this? mom asked so worried as she collect the bottle of wine from my hand.
“just spill it Alvary why are you like this? she asked.
“i just want to forget about everything, i f-cking want to forget about the wh0le thing,” i yelled angrily.
“i told you this mom, my suspicious about her were all true, she was the one behind my kidnapped, her and her f-cking father and who knows if she was still the same person that wanted be killed,” i yelled, mom looked shocked.
“okay…. what are you trying to say. Jordan can’t do that to you, remember the goddamn kidnappers shoot her,”
“that’s the thing- you trust her so much and she might still be the person to kill you someday. Jordan is just like her father and i will make them pay for all the pain they’ve caused me,” i hurriedly rush back to my room ignoring mom’s call. I locked the door in my room and threw whatever my hands laid on. Jordan’s hatred towards Maja make her do all this to me and i won’t spare her nor her father.

Maja’s POV
After dinner we talked about lots of things with my parents and we even watched a movie together. Dad suggested we do that so we could have time for ourselves as families because we’ve all been so busy lately, he also suggest we go on vacation and we all agreed to it, i guess with this we can have a great time together. I and Janelle retired back to our room, actually it’s tomorrow we are leaving to Dubai, dad has already make arrangement and our visa is ready as well.
I sat down feeling so worried about the wh0le thing, i need to know my stand with Toby before i travel out. ever since he called saying we should just break up with him, we haven’t talked since then, he didn’t call and i also didn’t bother to call him.
“i think i will just break up with Toby before i leave,” i told Janelle.
“why?
“it’s not like i don’t like him anymore but i think we both rushed into this relationsh¡p. It’s time we start all over again not as couple this time but as friends so that i will get to know him more,” i sigh sadly.
“it doesn’t make any sense, i don’t think you and Toby are meant for each other, well it’s a good thing you will breakup with him for good, just follow your heart and do what makes you happy,” she smiled.
“yeah, i guess that’s what am gonna do,”
“well, let me get my things ready, at least this two weeks i don’t have to worry about anyone and who knows if i might find my someone special there in Dubai,” she smile dreamily while i rolled my eyes.
“are you planning to cheat on Clark?
“well he did that to me before, maybe it’s my turn to do so now. It’s a payback time but don’t get it twisted i still love Clark,”
“i think am just so unlucky when it comes to relationsh¡p,” i said sadly.
“don’t talk that way am sure Alvary is still coming back for you,” she said while my heartbeat increased at the mention of his name, i suddenly felt so sad.

The next morning i was surprise to see Toby at our house. He came to our house!
“Toby,” i called then walked up to him.
“I’ve missed you so much,” he hugged me.
“we have to talk you know,” he said holding my hand as we walked to the pool side.
“are you trying to avoid me? he asked after a brief silence.
“of course not,”
“maybe you don’t love me anymore,”
“don’t say that,”
“anyway am sorry about the thing i told you last time, i was just angry. I’d really love you,” he cooed.
“i have think about the wh0le thing Toby and am ready for the breakup,” i said while he looked surprised.
“why?
“because i want us to start all over again, i want to know you better before getting into any relationsh¡p with you. I still love you Toby and trust me i just want this relationsh¡p to worked out well next time,”
“starting all over again, you know me too well already. I love you Maja,” he said looking hurt.
“am sorry Toby, it better we just remain friends for now,”
“if that will make you happy but trust me Maja i only have a good intentions for you and i love you so much,” he said pulling me into a hug, i felt so relief at least he’s not angry about this.
“i perfectly understand you Maja, i just want to make you happy and am sorry for all my mistakes, i just hope no one is trying to take you away from me?
“you’ll always be the one,” i assured him. I told him about our vacation and we’ll be leaving in few hours time, he felt so sad about the wh0le thing but still wait behind and have breakfast with my family, he even accompany me to the airport and i felt so relief. I felt as if the burden in my heart has been lifted from my shoulders.

Few hours Later…✨
Toby was outside making a phone call while our driver pack few things into the car. Dad insisted for that Mrs. Loren should follow us but she refused insisting that she’ll fine staying here.
Dad, mom and Janelle already left in the same car while i was with toby in his car.
We arrived to the airport and Toby helped me carry my luggage, we reached to those security guards at the security checkpoints, my luggage were screened but one of the security man called my attention.
“am sorry Miss but we just found something in,side your handbag,” he said as he dipped his hands in my bag and removed a big folded paper leather.
“well that’s not mine,” i said disgustingly wondering how it even get to my bag.
“this doesn’t belong to my sister, am sure someone must have put it in there,” Janelle said angrily to the man
“i don’t think this belong to Maja,” Toby said while i was so confused now.
“this cocaine Miss and you need to come with us for questioning, this a serious case,” he demanded while others security officers came to see what was happening .
“my daughter has no business with this,” mom told them.
“we are just doing our job, she can’t go scot free just because she claimed that it isn’t hers,” the man insisted.
“i will just call dad,” Janelle said while i was in tears already. What the heck is all this. Toby hugged me assuring me everything will gonna fine, but i don’t think so.
shortly after, Janelle and dad came. Dad explain everything to them but yet they still insisted to take me to the station for questioning. Dad suggest they check their cctv footage maybe they can have a clue about the person trying to frame me, it’s a good thing they agreed to that but nothing happen. No one even touch my luggage and i felt so scared now…
“am sorry Mr. Ramirez but your daughter has to answer this herself for trying to smuggle out with this those drugs,”
and before i knew it people were already taking pictures of me and the wh0le thing happening..
am doomed…..😭

Mom tried to calm me down last time but i refuse to listen to any of her words. Jordan has been pretending so bad and yet she claimed to love me, who those that!!!
Good thing she showed up this morning, i told her everything and she deny it, saying she don’t even know henry and he’s only trying to frame her.
“Henry isn’t lying about this and the more you keep lying to me the more i will hate you. Just spill it out Jordan i already know about your dad evil deeds and he will have to pay for everything he did to me, so tell me everything before it’s too late,” i yelled.
“how can i do such a thing, i know i never liked Maja but doing that sound pointless,” she said still insisting that she know nothing about it.
“just forget you have a brother then. I have always knew you were evil as your dad or even worse than him Jordan,” i yelled.
“Alvary… why are you saying all this to me.
“just tell me the wh0le truth, i f-cking want to hear the wh0le truth from your mouth but if you keep denying then you’re already on my black list and i don’t freaking care if you’re my sister anymore because i might end up hurting you so bad Jordan,” i said coldly.
“okay fine, am sorry it’s all my fault. I was part of it, but i never meant to hurt you. I love you Alvary and i only wanted what best for my brother,” she cried while i stood speechless.
“am sorry Alvary that Maja isn’t the right woman for you,”
“you’re in no position to tell me who to love, just leave Jordan and i hope you’ll never show your face to me again”
“am sorry, i have to do what i think is right, am sorry,” she apologies but this so called apology is not enough to amend the damages she have caused already.
“just leave,” i yelled while mom quickly came.
“i never meant to do any of those mom, am sorry about this,” she cried.
“i will talk to him,” Mom assured her then took her outside with her. I Sat down in anger thinking about the wh0le thing. I thought Jordan was truly my sister but i was wrong. I know she never liked Maja but i never thought she was this evil to do that to me, what if she’s the one that even send those thugs to kill me, her and her f-cking dad. I sat down on the couch trying to calm myself, the television was on and just when am about to off it- something grip my attention.
