Minutes later, after soaring through the the air like an eagle in the sky, Ade finally arrives at Susan’s house and using his ghostly abilities, he barges into the place without smashing anything.
After making his entry, Ade looks around the place carefully hoping to see Susan but there was no trace of her but then suddenly he hears quiet footsteps behind him and as soon as he turns around, Prometheus’s power house Burau’uba emerges from the shadows throwing a big right fist at him. Luckily for Ade, the big man’s fist went through him like thin air and in that same moment Ade threw a few punches of his own at his opponent’s face.
Although Burau’uba was insanely strong, he was no match for Ade whose power was supernatural and the punch he received from him made his spine tingle and his mind scramble with pain. After getting smooched by Ade’s fists, Burau’uba succumbed to his knees in defeat but his ordeal with the phantom Elite was yet to be over.
Kicking the big man down like trash, Ade stood over him defiantly staring down as eyes as he inquired about Susan’s whereabouts but before he could get an answer from the big galoot, Moses appears on the scene.

Ade ➡ Where’s Susan?

Moses ➡ Ade! I see you made it.
.

Ade ➡ Where’s Susan?
.

Moses ➡ You came sooner than I expected, I was about to lick her when you showed up.
.

Ade ➡ TELL ME WHERE SHE IS! NOW!.

Susan ➡ I’m right here.
.

After hearing Susan’s voice, Ade turns around and sees her behind him but to his surprise, she didn’t look like she needed any help. In fact, she was perfectly fine. Before Ade could get over his confusion, Hephaestus appears instantly with attacks him with shockwave gauntlets. Having felt the impact of the shockwave which was 10times to that of a normal shockwave of a grenade, Ade’s body began to faze slowly.
Seeing that his device had worked successfully, Hephaestus laughs and approaches Ade as he charges up his shockwave gauntlets.

Hephaestus ➡ My, my, my… This is truly an honor. I’d never thought I’d meet the phantom freak. I must say that I’m truly fascinated by you, Ade.
Your ability is one of a kind and that makes you very special but before we get any further, Let me introduce myself. I’m Hephaestus but you can call me the *Mad genius*. I’m sure Felicia has told you a lot about me.

Ade ➡ You… won’t.. get…away with this.
.

Hephaestus ➡ You think so?… I’m sure you’re feeling confused about this but I’ll explain everything to you. Your former allies did a good job about telling me all about you. Your power is amazing but everything has a weakness. So I made your kryptonite, shockwaves, explosions.. It doesn’t make you weak but it tampers with your abilities. Your body’s fazing uncontrollably and if this keeps on, you will die but I don’t want to kill you. I just want to take you out of the equation, my sights is set on that b-tch Felicia, she and I have unfinished business.

Ade ➡ Where’s Susan?
.

Hephaestus ➡ Oh, Susan’s fine and you’ll meet her very soon. The Susan you saw here was just a hologram, even Moses as well except for this big ape whom you fought with. Now surrender.

Ade ➡ I might do that but there’s something you should know.
.

Hephaestus ➡ What?
.

Ade ➡ Never underestimate your opponent.

Suddenly in that very moment, Ade instantly becomes invisible and his act puts the mad genius into a state of shock. Baffled by what had occurred in his presence, Hephaestus tries to leave the room but before he could do that, he becomes a scape goat in the hands of Ade.
Using his abilities to his full advantage, Ade smacks Hephaestus around for a while. He also destroys the shockwave gauntlets leaving the old crook defenseless and vulnerable. After beating down Hephaestus, Ade reveals himself and then heads out of the room trying to call for backup but before he could do that, the unexpected happens.
Suddenly as Ade was about to make a call, Susan appears into the room standing a few meters away from him and without uttering any words, she brings out some kind of device that looks like a grenade and throws it at Ade’s feet. Before Ade could react, the device instantly activates discharging an explosive shockwave that knocks him off his feet and also made his body to faze continuously. Just as Ade was about to pass out, Susan appears and stands before him. She stares down at him for a while before smashing his phone with her telekinesis ability. After that, everything went dark for Ade.
Shocked by the truth of what she had been told about Ade, Susan became sad by how things turned out to be. She never wanted to hurt Ade but she was also mad that he kept this side of himself a secret to her. After she had destroyed Ade’s phone, Moses and the others appeared into the room.

Moses ➡ (laughs) At last, the big fish has been caught.
.

Zeus ➡ So this is the strongest Elite. I’m disappointed. I expected more of a fight.
.

Joshua ➡ You should count yourself lucky. The guy isn’t as ruthless as Felicia.
.

Mary ➡ Speaking of Felicia, we need to get out of here before they notice his absence cause I have a feeling she might come here and went she does, we’re all dead.
.

Hephaestus ➡ You’re right. Let’s get out of here.
.

Hades ➡ What about the others?
.

Athena ➡ Don’t worry about them. They will soon be taken care of.

That Susan, I never liked her the very first time we met. She looked and acted innocently but deep down, she’s just a wolf in a sheep’s skin. Normally, I wouldn’t really care where Ade went but this time around something was wrong. Why would his phone signal stop working and what’s even surprising the signal’s last location was in that slüt’s house. It’s a good thing that I found out where she lives a while back ago cause I’m going to see what’s really happening over there.
After I appeared at Susan’s neighborhood seconds later, I walked straight to her house using the shadows as my cover. I could have teleported straight into her house but I was afraid I might run into a trap. Before long, I arrived at the place and saw that it was awfully dark, there was no sound either, the entire place was like a graveyard. Seeing that I had no means to check out what was happening in the house, I decided go take the bull by the horn and teleport straight into the b-tch’s house. In a blink of eye, I found myself in Susan’s parlor and noticed that the place was a mess, her furniture was messed up and in total disarray. As I was busy checking the rooms, I saw Ade’s phone on the ground and it was smashed to pieces. My heart jumped as I saw that and I soon became worried but before I could get somewhat emotional, I noticed some kind of device on the ground and it looker very familiar. It didn’t take my long to realize who captured Ade but there was something that also shocked me, Could it be that Susan was a Prometheus member or was she just a victim and used as bait to capture Ade?. Before I could think of what to do next, my phone rang but I didn’t answer it. The phone kept ringing and ringing that I decided to check out who was calling me and I saw that it was Samson. Still, I didn’t answer the call instead I pocketed my phone and teleported myself back to Ade’s house.
Minutes later, here I was in living with the others after I had told them that Ade was missing and the people responsible for it. We talked and tried to figure out a way to find him but nothing seems to be working.

Kabir ➡ Are you sure it’s Prometheus?

Felicia ➡ It’s them alright.
.

Eze ➡ I still find that impossible.
.

Eve ➡ Don’t be silly. It’s not like Ade is invulnerable. All of us here know his weakness and I’m pretty sure Prometheus must have found a way to neutralize him. Let’s just focus on finding him.

Chioma ➡ How do we do that exactly?
.

Rollins ➡ Well since Habib has ditched them, I’m sure he’ll know where they are.
.

Habib ➡ That’s not going to work. They won’t be stupid enough to go back to where they are.

Kaitlyn. ➡ Why would they even catch Ade?

Ace ➡ Because he’s our Ace in the hole.

Felicia ➡ ENOUGH!!! we have to find him before they try to use his powers against us and as for that b-tch, I’m going to kill her the first chance I get. I don’t care what Ade thinks, treacherous rats deserve to die.

Lola ➡ Well, I understand you’re pissed but its better you don’t kill her so that we have find Ade supposing she agrees to tell us.

Kaitlyn ➡ If she doesn’t, there are other ways to make her talk.

Ali. ➡ Absolutely. Torture would be a good start.

Hussein ➡ So what do we do now? All I’m seeing is talk and no action.

Ifeanyi ➡ Werey! Who gave you permission to speak?

Sonny ➡ Hold on…. How about that watch that Ace gave us to wear, I’m sure Ade has his.

Felicia ➡ He doesn’t.

Felicia ➡ Because I’m wearing it. I swiped it away from him when he wasn’t looking.

Chioma ➡ Seriously Felicia!

Felicia ➡ What!? His was much nicer than mine so…..

Eze ➡ WAIT….. Where’s Denise?

Chioma ➡ What about her?

Eze ➡ Have you forgotten that she’s a demon vessel? That demon nearly killed us all remember even Ade couldn’t even stand a chance. Let’s seek for her help.

Sunday ➡ Ogbeni, I no wan die o. That demon no be here.

Eve ➡ I agree, you want us to seek the help of a demon?

Eze ➡ What choice do we have? Since Ade’s powers is similar to that of the supernatural, I’m sure the demon can find him.

Kabir ➡ Eze’s right but who’s going to ask for her help?

Felicia ➡ My son will. I notice that he and the girl are very close, I’m sure he’ll be able to convince her.

Kaitlyn ➡ Shameless woman. So you want to your child to convince a demon. Felicia, you’re wicked.

Felicia ➡ Shut your mouth or I’ll shut it for you.

Suddenly in that moment, Samson’s phone began to ring out warning alarms. He quickly brought out his phone and checked it and his reactions were pretty disturbing. Without uttering any words, Samson connected his phone to Ade’s flat screen which displayed Mercury’s image on it.

Mercury ➡ Intruder alert, we have intruders
.

Eze ➡ Intruders!?
.

Ace ➡ Talk to me, Mercury. Have we been breached?
.

Mercury ➡ Not at all but they’re trying to break in. I’ve activated all security protocols.
.

Felicia ➡ Who the f-ck are these intruders? Is it Prometheus?
.

Mercury ➡ Negative.. It’s the law enforcements.
.

Samson ➡ Show us the live feeds from the CCTV cams.

In that moment, the A.I showed us live images of armed police men in large numbers trying to break into the NOVA agency, there were also reporters at the scene. As if the AI was reading our minds, it quickly showed us the news that was been broadcasted at the moment and it wasn’t pleasing to hear.

NEWS REPORTER ➡ Good evening Lagos, just moments ago the police force were informed that the terrorists responsible for the nightmarish incidents some days ago were in cahoots with the private investigation firm popularly known as *NOVA*. So far, the police are trying to find the members of this firm and bring them to justice and at the moment there hasn’t been any comment from the ACP who’s on the scene.

Ifeanyi ➡ Chineke! Wetin be this?

Habib ➡ Looks like Prometheus used their connections to set you guys up.

Hussein. ➡ Connections?
.

Habib ➡ Yes, I learnt that they had some of the most powerful government officials under their thumbs.

Naomi ➡ So what do we do now?

Ali ➡ I say we kill them all.

Lola ➡ Is that all you ever think of?

Sonny ➡ I have an idea. Habib, do you know the list of the government officials under Prometheus’s thumb?

Habib ➡ Yes I do. What do you have in mind?

Sonny ➡ Since Hussein here can transform into anyone, it’s time to turn the tables on Prometheus.

Eze ➡ What about Ade?

Felicia ➡ We’ll stick to the initial plan. My son Richard will talk to Denise. Let’s just hope that the demon inside her cooperates.

Rollins ➡ Oya o goodluck. Okay Habib, who’s the first werey licking Prometheus’s boots?

Habib ➡ Elliot, the ACP.

Hussein ➡ Finally, things are starting to get real fun.

Most people believe that a sneaky ambush hurts more than anything else but in truth, there’s nothing more that hurts most than being betrayed by someone you care for especially if that someone is your lover.
After waking up from what seemed to be a long slumber, I found myself trapped inside some kind of force field, I tried to penetrate it but I couldn’t. As surprised as I was that I couldn’t escape this dome, I was more surprised when I turned around and saw Susan staring at me.

Unlike me, she was outside the dome and she stood motionless fixing her eyes on me. She had this empty look on her face which made it hard for me to figure out what she was thinking. Had it been my spirit friends were here with me, I could have at least asked them to read her mind for me. After staring at me for a while, Susan sighed and then spoke to me.

Susan ➡ It’s been a while.
.

Ade ➡ Yes, it has.
.

Susan ➡ So you’re an elite and you never told me.
.

Ade ➡ I was afraid that you might freak out but I see now that’s not the case. You’re also a member of Prometheus and you never told me.
.

Susan ➡ I was also afraid that you might freak out.
.

Ade ➡ Tell me Susan, why? How could you part of a Psychopathic group?
.

Susan ➡ Psychopathic ? I think not. Prometheus isn’t a psychopathic group. It’s a group that’s fight against human barbaric treatment towards our own kind.

Ade ➡ By killing innocent people is wrong.
.

Susan ➡ Innocent!? Nobody is innocent. The humans are all the same. They kill us ignorantly without seeing who we are. My late husband was an elite too, he had the ability to know about a person just by studying their movements, he reads them like a book . This helped him alot during work or when dealing with his business rivals but my husband got so full of himself that he mistakenly told his rivals about his ability and what do you think happened?

Ade ➡ I understand how you feel but if I may ask… Was our relationship a lie? Based on the statement you made, I’m sure you loathe humans so what was I to you?

Susan ➡ I loved you. I can’t deny that. I really loved you but what’s the point now? Your old flame is back and she seems to be drawing your attention more than I.

Ade ➡ Susan…
.

Susan ➡ There’s no need for you to say anything. I’m not mad at you, I’m just mad at Felicia. That manipulative b-tch doesn’t fool me. I know her type. Nothing would please me more than to kill her but i won’t rush it.

Ade ➡ So what happens now? Are you planning to kill me?
.

Susan ➡ No.. The others think you’re a problem so we’re going to keep you here until we deal with the others.
.

Ade ➡ My son is at my house. Stay away from him, he has nothing to do with this.
.

Susan kept quiet after that and turned her back towards me, I wanted to talk to her again but before I could do that, the other members of Prometheus walked in. Some of them had masks while the others which I already know revealed their faces to me.

Zeus ➡ What a great catch! Medusa, well done.
.

Ade ➡ Medusa?
.

Zeus ➡ Yes, that’s our codenames. So you’re the infamous phantom freak!
.

Ade ➡ What do you want with me?.
.

Zeus ➡ In the mean time, we just want you out of the way. Felicia’s our real target. Unlike you, her existence is a pain we must get rid of.
.

Ade ➡ I won’t let you do that.
.

Joshua ➡ (laughs) Don’t say that o. Your babe Susan is right here.
.

Zeus ➡ Enough.. I’m pretty sure that the treacherous Habib has reached out to you but don’t even bother cause we’ve abandoned our other hideouts. If your friends are foolish enough to go there, they’ll be giving a very hot warm welcome.

Ade ➡ You won’t get away with this. Felicia and the others will surely prevail.
.

Zeus ➡ Is that so? We’ll see about that cause right now, the whole country is on the hunt for them. We’ll see how they scale through.
