I’m not in the mood to cook oh, did you finish the whole food, she whispered to me when we go into the kitchen.

Yes oh, I finished everything, I answered her.

Nelly noticed it and wanted saying something, before I placed my hands on her l-ips and told her to keep quiet.

I told her to act as if she’s busy, so they won’t notice we’re listening. she nodded and went back to what she wanted doing.

I tiptoed and stood very closely to the kitchen door. I could hear precious telling daisy that she’s happy and jealous for Nelly at the same time. daisy also said the same thing but she’s happy I’m her friend, adding that she’s okay with it.

Okay baby, I said to their hearing and came out from the kitchen, just to make it look like I was talking to Nelly.
I did that, so they won’t have a clue that I heard a little of their conversation.

Sorry for keeping you girls waiting, I said, walking to fridge.
I opened the fridge and brought out a lemon juice. Let’s chill with this, I said, dropping the juice the dining table.

We were about drinking the juice, when Nelly walked in from the kitchen with the jellof rice loaded in a very big tray.
Bon Appetit, she said, when she dropped the food on the table.

We all smiled, grabbing our spoons.

We gist while eating, and to be honest, i was happy, and at some point, I miss eating with my family.
Also every once in a while, Precious eyes and mine will meet and she’ll just smile then focus on the food.

We were done eating, Nelly took the plate to go and wash, while precious and daisy cleaned the table, and I as Indaboski the great, relaxed on my chair, sipping my juice slowly.

Soon they were all done and they decided to take their leave. Precious opened the door and went out, so did daisy.

Take the key and open the car, you guys should wait for me I’m coming, Nelly said to them.

She turned and faced me, she drew me closer and k×ssed me. Good night handsome, she said after breaking the k×ss.

She was about leaving when she saw Esther coming towards us.

Good evening Nelly, Esther greeted.

Sure, I said.

Thank God Nelly is here, she said and brought out a plain sheet with things typed on it.

What if I tell you that I’m ready to become your student, she said.

I could see how relieved Nelly was with what Esther said.

You see Esther and I had a conversation on FB though I never made mention of it.
She told me she’ll like to be tutored by me concerning basically everything that has to do with writing, since she was inspired by one of my work ”2021, my little piece”, that she’ll love to be tutored.

I told her that I can’t tutor her that I want her to be my student, reasons being that if I’m to tutor her, it’ll just be like lecturing her and giving her a few points that’s all, but if she becomes my student, I’ll not only teach her, I’ll guide her through every steps she’ll be taking.

She told me she’ll think about it and also relate it with her parent, since she told them only about being tutored by me.

I ended the conversation, by giving her an assignment to write on a topic “MY DREAM”. And I told her to write it herself then type it.

Wow, this is great, I said, going through her work. I love the concept and the perspective you used in writing, I added.

Thank you, she said.

Your classes starts tomorrow, we begin by 9am and I’ll keep this, I said, taking her work and putting it on my reading table.

I came out and told her that’ll be all and she left.

You know for a moment there, I thought it was something else, Nelly said, after Esther had gone.

Yeah I know, I saw the shock and curiousness in your eyes, I said. But now you it wasn’t what you where thinking, I added.

Yeah, I’m so relieved, goodnight baby, she said, hugging me.

I’ll see you tomorrow, I said before breaking the hug.

She walked the car, ignited 5hw the engine and drove off.

In a little distance, I could see Precious waving at me, I also waved back.

I went back into the house and slumped on my bed. I was in confused state. headquarters room for more stories. What I’m I doing with Esther, what’s with Precious, how will Nelly feel if I tell her I no do again. Do I really love her or I’m Just being friendly because she’s one of my favorite readers, what of Precious or Esther aren’t they my favorite readers too. Oh, I sighed.

I woke up in the morning to hearbloud voices outside, and I ran out without hesitation.

Stop stop, I yelled, seeing Esther with a big wood in her hand, she was about hitting Nelly with the wood.
