” You abused your right as an angel and used your powers for your own good, your are not qualified to be an angel 👼, so I hereby strip you of your powers and condemn you to a life of mortality and weakness as a human, from today onwards you are banished from heaven and shall live the rest of your mortal life on Earth”.
With those words Zeus stripped me of my powers and within a twinkle of an eye I was in the middle of nowhere or should I say in the middle of Earth🌍.
I guess am doomed to a life of mortality on Earth then, as a punishment for my mistake, a mistake I don’t regret committing. Oh my dear Anastasia, I still can’t believe you are gone, I don’t know how my life on Earth will be, am unsure of everything right now but what am most sure of is you will forever reside in my heart 😢

☀️ Adrian’s POV☀️
I stretched my arm as I slowly stood up from my king-sized bed, am just so tired from yesterday’s party. I went to the bathroom, brushed my teeth and took a quick shower. I went to the living room, sat on the couch. I took the remote and switched on the television cause am sure yesterday’s party and my success must be all over the news.
“Mr Adrian has once again dazzled us with his continuous success as he held a party last night to celebrate being the highest estates owner in the country. For those of us who still doesn’t know Mr Adrian although I doubt if there’s any, Mr Alexandar Adrian is a fine handsome young man whom at the age of 28 already owns flocks of estates, hotels🏨, motels, casino, club house, in short he is a young billionaire and every lady’s dream guy”
I smiled and turned off the television, there’s a lot that the world doesn’t know about me, to them am the perfect young man but in reality, am a broken fallen angel who is forever in love with a lady that no longer exists.
I stood up from the couch and went to the kitchen to find something to eat, I was met with smells of my rotten leftovers in the kitchen, I’ve been so busy I haven’t had the time to do a proper cleaning. I went to the sink and met a pile of dirty plates, I was tired and didn’t have the strength for cleaning so I took my phone and ordered Pizza from a restaurant. I was about walking out of the kitchen but I turned back and looked at the state of my kitchen, I shook my head in disgust, I guess it’s time I employed a live-in housekeeper.

☀️ Selena’s POV☀️
I came down from the cab and paid the driver and he zoomed off. I don’t usually take cab to my workplace but today I had no choice cause I was really late. I ran into the building as the Doctor’s word keeps echoing in my head.

“Miss Martin, your Mom has been diagnosed with Ovarian cancer, though the cancer is still on its early stage, she needs to be put on admission for proper monitoring” the doctor said as he kept a stern face throughout.
My heart was heavy, I couldn’t believe what I just heard, Mom is sick??, I know she has been a bit down for the past few days but I never thought it could be this serious. I woke up that morning and went to her room only to meet her unconscious so I rushed her to the hospital and now she has Ovarian cancer.
The doctor continued since I didn’t say a word “She will need to be operated on and hopefully we might be able to get rid of the affected cells since the cancer is still at the early stage, though the surgery must be done as soon as possible”
“Ummm, doctor” I said finally founding my voice ” how much will be needed for the surgery?”
“2 million dollars”
“What!!!, Doctor thats too much, I don’t have such a huge amount of money, please doctor, save my Mom, she’s the only one I have, I promised to pay on installment please start the treatment doctor” I pleaded with the doctor as tears rolled down my face
“It’s a very complicated surgery Miss Martin thats why the cost is really high. The highest help I can render right now is agree for you to pay on installment but you must first make a deposit of 1 million before any kind of treatment can commence”
“Okay doctor, thank you so much, I’ll be back tomorrow and hopefully with the money” I said as I stood up from the chair and slowly walked out of the doctor’s office
My name is Selena Martin, at age 25 am already facing alot of challenges. I live with my Mom in a small two-room apartment cause that was the highest we could afford, Right from childhood Mom was all I have, she was a single mom and I have no idea who or where my dad is, Mom said he left her when she told him she was pregnant. Mom has been my whole world and now she has Cancer?, I still can’t believe it. How am I going to get the money by tomorrow, the salary I get from the cleaning agency I work for is just 20 thousand dollars which is still a small amount compared to 1 million. I couldn’t help as I cried while walking out of the hospital, I board a cab to take me to my workplace as I was really late. Oh God, please help me out, how the hell am I going to get 1 million dollars today, I thought as the driver stopped in front of the cleaning agency I work for.
