“What!, You want her fired, why ma Violet, Sharon hasn’t done anything wrong, why will you want her fired”. Kim asked.

“Are you now questioning me,, maybe you have forgotten that am your boss’s best friend, I can just tell him to fire you”.

“No ma Violet, don’t do it”. Kim said.

“Then you will do exactly as I have said”.

“But what reason will I give to her on why she was fired”.

“Just tell her boss Jay wants her fire, that all”. Violet said.

“Okay ma Violet”. Kim said.

And Violet smirks.

“Really Sharon is working for Jesse, is FATE trying to bring them together”. Nikky asked.

“That won’t happen Nikky”.

“And why not”.

“Firstly, Jesse doesn’t even know Sharon works for him, and lastly I already have her fired”.

“Why Violet, I thought you already gave up already”.

“I haven’t Nikky, I can’t let Sharon and Jesse get back to together, never Nikky”.

“And what if FATE is trying to bring them back together Violet”.

“Then am going to stop that FATE Nikky, I separated them from being together before, so doing it again won’t be hard”.

“Is up to you Violet, I don’t care anyway, but isn’t it weird, why will Sharon work in Jesse’s company, I thought her dad was rich, what really happened to Sharon”. Nikky asked.

And Violet looks at Nikky without saying a word.

JAY’S WINE INDUSTRY

Sharon enters Kim’s office wearing the cutest smile ever.

“Manager Kim you sent for me”.

Kim looks at her and she didn’t know where she was going to begin, she didn’t want to fire Sharon, but if she disobeys Violet, she might loose her job. Kim thought inwardly.

“Manager Kim is everything okay”. Sharon asked.

And Kim clears her throat and looks at Sharon again.

“Am fine Sharon”.

“You called for me, do you need anything, I already prepared the equipments that will be used, or do want me to run an errand for you”.

“No Sharon, you won’t be doing anything anymore here in this company, Because you are fired”.

“What, am fired, did I do something wrong, please manager Kim don’t fire me, if I have done anything you don’t like, I promise am going to correct it, please don’t fire me I just got this job”. Sharon said as tears were already falling down her eyes.

“Am sorry Sharon but no matter how you plead or beg, I can’t go back to my word, because it was boss Jay himself that wants you fired”. Kim said, and she was already feeling so sorry for Sharon.

“It was boss Jay who wants me fire, but he just came back to Korea recently, why will he want me fired”. Sharon asked sniffing in her tears.

“Are you now questioning the boss’s order, maybe you have forgotten Sharon, that he owns the company, and he can do whatever he wants”.

“I know that manager Kim, but can you at least talk to the boss for me, I can’t loose this job, I have a child to take care of, and having this job is my only source of hope, please manager Kim have pity on me and talk to boss Jay for me, maybe he is going to understand since am just a single mom”. Sharon said in tears and was already hiccupping.

“Am sorry Sharon, but there is nothing I can do, boss Jay never goes back to his words, so you should leave the company immediately, or you might get arrested for trespassing”. Kim said and pretended to be forcus on her laptop.

Sharon bit her lips in tears.

Why was life treating her this way, did she do something bad in her pass life, is that why she is getting punished now. Sharon thought inwardly as she leaves the office, with tears not leaving her eyes

After Sharon left, Kim covers the laptop and guit was already eating her up.

“Am so sorry Sharon, but I can’t loose my job, that why I did it, am really so sorry”. Kim muttered looking so sad.

Anna opens the door of her house, and sees a girl about her age putting on a face cap, and a nose mask.

“Who are you”. She asked.

“Is me Anna”. Joanna said taking off the face cap and nose mask.

“OMG!!!!!!!, Joannaaaaaaaa!!!!”.Anna screams and jumped on Joanna hugging her so tight.

“Anna I can’t breathe”. Joanna struggles to say.

And Anna quickly disengage the hug.

“Am so sorry Joanna,,,,is really you, is Joanna my best friend”. Anna exclaims and Joanna chuckles with a smile.

“I was trying to find ways to meet up with you Joanna, but am surprised you showed up at my door step, I thought cerebrities don’t even have time to for themselves talk more of visiting others”. Anna said, after both were sitted in the house.

“Well I created time to see my Best friend again”.

“Really was that why you didn’t tell me you were leaving for Paris”.

“Am sorry about that Anna, we had to leave all of a sudden, and didn’t have the time to say goodbye”.

“Is okay Joanna, but money really is good, look at you Joanna, you have changed so much, or maybe I should call you Joan”.

Joanna looks at her and Anna laughs.

“So where is your mom”.

“She went out,,,,,oh before I forget, how could I have forgotten such a thing”.

“Forgotten about what Anna”.

“Liam”.

And Joanna’s heart skips a beat on hearing Liam’s name.

“Li………am”

“Yes Joanna, Liam is here, he is sleeping upstairs, I will go and get him okay”.

And Joanna nods faking a smile.

And Anna quickly ran upstairs to call Liam.

“Liam, Liam, Liam”. She calls tapping him.

“What do you want Anna, I didn’t come to your house, so you can disturb me”

“Well, if you don’t want to see Joanna is fine”. Anna said.

And Liam quickly get up from the bed.

“What do you mean by that Anna”.

“I thought you were enjoying your sleep”. Anna asked folding her hands.

“This is not the time to joke around, just answer me Anna”.

“Fine,,,, Joanna is here, she in the sitting room”.

“Are you for real”.

“Yes I am, she came to visit me Liam, or have you forgotten am her best friend, go see for yourself”. Anna said.

And Liam quickly went to the living room and Anna followed behind ,but when they got to the living room, Joanna was not there.

“Anna where is Joanna, you said she was here right”. Liam asked.

And Anna too was surprised not to see Joanna.

“Where you playing pranks on me Anna”.

“No I wasn’t, Joanna was here”.

“So where is she Anna”. Liam half yells.

And Anna remain speechless and confused at the same time.

Millet keeps smiling to herself as she keeps remembering Rhett’s face, and just then, Sharon came inside crying, and Millet quicky went to her.

“What wrong Sharon, why are you crying”.

“I just got fired by boss Jay”. Sharon answers sobbing in tears.

“What!!, What was the reason you got for Sharon”.

“I wasn’t given a reason, manager kim just call me and fired me saying that, that was what the boss wanted”.

“What!!!!, The nerves of that boss of yours to fire you without a reason, I mean you does that, just because he is rich doesn’t give him the right to fire you without a reason, come with me Sharon”. Millet said and held Sharon by the hand.

“Where are we going Millet”.

“To that boss of yours”.

“No Millet, I don’t want any trouble, I will try looking for another job”.

“This is the reason why people take advantage of you Sharon, because you are always acting so soft,band not even trying to fight back, but don’t worry Sharon, am going to do the talking, I will talk some sense into boss Jay, he can’t fire all of a sudden, come with me Sharon”. Millet said and drags Sharon out of the house holding her hand.

Sharon begs her not to go to the company, but Millet wasn’t listening to her plead.

JAY’S WINE INDUSTRY

Millet enters the company with Sharon and people were already watching them, as Sharon keeps begging her not to meet with boss Jay.

“Where is the office of that stupid boss of yours”. Millet asked with angry eyes.

“At the tent floor”. Sharon answers.

Millet sighs and drags Sharon inside the elevator, and press the tenths floor.

“Millet can we please not do this, you don’t have to create a scene because of me”. Sharon pleaded.

“Then you shouldn’t have come home crying, you know how I hate to see you cry”. Millet said.

The elevator opens a minute later, and Millet drags Sharon out of the elevator.

Millet approach the secretary.

“Is your boss in”.

“Yes he is, do you have an appointment with him”.

“No I don’t, I just want to talk to him”.

“That impossible Ms”.

“Then there is no use talking to you”. Millet said and headed for Jesse’s office ignoring what the secretary was saying.

She opens the door widely and enters with Sharon, and sees a man backing them making a phone call.

“Hey you I need to talk to you, why did you have to fire my best friend without a reason huh”. Millet yells.

“Am going to call you back later”. Jesse said and ended the call.

“And who did heck are you”. Jesse said coldly turning to face them.

And the three of them was shocked to see each other.

“Je……..sse”. Sharon muttered as tears falls down her eyes.

Millet became speechless on seeing Jesse.

Jesse didn’t say a word, he just kept looking at Sharon.

“Jesse”. Sharon calls him and went to hug him so tightly.

“Jesse”. Sharon calls him again, still hugging him so tightly, with tears in her eyes.

Sharon keeps hugging Jesse so tightly, and she was so happy to see him again.

Jesse felt like hugging her back, her warm embrace back then was still the same, his hands were slowly going towards her back, but it stops halfway when Sharon’s voice back then echoes in his ear.

*I never love you Jesse, and I will never bring myself to love a poverty sticking boy like you*

*All I felt for you was nothing but lust Jesse, I only got distracted by your face*

*You are nothing Jesse, you have nothing to give to me, but just your face*

With these words echoing in his ear, the Jesse that was calm a moment ago, became a beast all of a sudden.

And Jesse forcefully pushed Sharon away from him, and Sharon falls to the floor.

And Millet was surprised at his action just now.

“Jesse”. Sharon muttered as she looks at Jesse in shock, and tears falls down her eyes.

“Who gave you the right to hug me, who did hell do you think you are!!!”. Jesse yells, and Sharon flinched in fear.

“Jesse that Sharon”. Millet said looking surprised to see Jesse this way,. Because the Jesse she knew wasn’t this way.

“And does it look like care”. He fired back.

And Millet became more shock.

Sharon stood up looking at Jesse in tears.

Jesse looks at her and when he saw the tears in her eyes, he felt his heart acheing, but he waves it off.

“And what did heck are you doing here”. He asked coldly.

Sharon bits her lips, cleaning the tears in her eyes.

“I work here now”.

And Jesse chuckles.

“So you work here now, I can see karma is definitely working, who would have thought that the spoit daughter of a Don will end up working in the company of the boy she once called poor.”

“So was that why you had her fired, is this your way of getting revenge”. Millet asked.

And Jesse looks at her.

“Hey you, you better know how you talk to me else, you want to spend the night in jail”. He said coldly.

And his words shocks both Sharon and Millet.

“As for you”. Jesse said facing Sharon, who was just looking at him.

“Yes Jesse”. She managed to answer.

“Is boss Jay, ,who the heck are you calling Jesse!!”. He yells again.

And Sharon flinched in fear again, she couldn’t believe the Jesse she loved so much, was the one acting this way.

“Am sorry Boss J……ay”. Sharon muttered as tears falls down her eyes.

Jesse saw the tears in her eyes, but he quickly glumps down nothing.

“Who told you I had you fired”. He asked.

And tears couldn’t allow her to answer.

“It was your so called manager”. Millet answers for her.

Jesse picks up the telephone and when Kim picked he said coldly.

“I want you in my office now”. He keeps back the telephone.

Sharon just keeps looking at Jesse in tears, this wasn’t what she was expecting.

As for Jesse he was trying so hard not to get affected by Sharon’s tears.

His heart was telling him to console Her and hug her like he always do, anytime she was sad.

But his head was telling otherwise.

Kim enters the office, and when she sees Sharon, her heart raises up to 360 degree.

“You called for me boss Jay”. Kim said shaking.

“Is it true you had this woman fired, and said it I who asked you to”. Jesse asked.

*Woman,,, can’t he even say my name*. Sharon thought inwardly looking so sad.

Kim bit her lips not saying a word.

“Kim!!!!!!”. He yells.

“Am so sorry boss Jay, but it was ma Violet who asked me to fire her, i didn’t agree to it at first, but she threaten me with my job”. Kim answers sharply.

“Violet”. Jesse muttered.

And Millet scoffs shaking her head.

“Yes she was the one who ask me to fire Sharon, am so sorry boss Jay”. Kim said with a pleading voice.

“Give her job immediately, got that”. Jesse said .

“I will boss Jay”. Kim said nodding her head.

“Thank you so much Jesse”. Sharon said.

And Jesse looks at with cold eyes.

“If you call me by that name again, I won’t think twice of firing you my self”. He said coldly.

Millet felt like saying something to him right now, but she held back because she didn’t want Sharon to loose her job.

“Am sorry”. Sharon muttered.

“Just get lost”. He said coldly and turns backing them.

Sharon keeps looking at Jesse as exceeding tears falls down her eyes.

“Let just go Sharon”. Millet said and held her by the hand, and both left the office, including Kim.

Jesse turns and when he discovers that Sharon was gone, he hits his hand in the table in anger, running his hand through his hair.

Sharon broke into tears immediately they came outside the company.

“Sharon”. Millet muttered.

“How could he treat me that way millet, does he hate me so much, not to have remember a single moment of our lives together before, I only did what I had to do back then to save his life, I know I hurt him before, but does he have to be so mean to me, it wasn’t my fault, I just wanted to save his life”.. Sharon said crying so painfully.

Millet didn’t said a word but keeps consoling Sharon, she was trying so hard to fight back her eyes, because she never liked seeing Sharon getting hurt or crying.

Jesse enters the house, and see Violet watching one of Joanna’s video on TV with both Joanna and Janet.

“Wow, you are improving on your dancing skills”. Violet said.

And Joanna smiles.

“Violet”. Jesse calls coldly.

And they all turn to him.

“Yes Jesse”. Violet answers glumping down nothing.

“Is it true you wanted Sharon fired”. He asked.

“Sharon”. Joanna and Janet muttered at the same time looking surprised.

Violet bits her lips and looks at Jesse.

“Well, when I discovered she was working for you, I told Kim to fire her”.

“Why Violet,,,is it your company or mine!!!!!”. Jesse yells.

And the three of them flinched in fear.

“I just wanted to help you Jesse, you said you wanted to get back at her right, so I thought firing her was the first step to get back at her”. Violet answers.

And her heart was already beating so fast.

“Say who, you don’t own the company Violet, so you have no right to fire any my workers”.

“And why not Jesse, is it because Sharon works for you now, I thought you said you wanted to get back at her, don’t tell me you are having a second thought, now that you have seen her again”. Joanna said.

And when Jesse looks at her, she quickly hides in Janet’s back.

Jesse sighs and said.

“If I want to make her pay for everything she has done to me, then she has to be under my roof for me to be able to do that, that why I gave her back her job anyway”. Jesse said coldly.

“But first I have to know what happened to her, why she is working in my company, and what has become of her”. Jesse said again.

And he had a flashback on the kind of clothes she was wearing, the Sharon knew back then won’t dress as a commoner.

“I will have her investigated”. Violet said bringing Jesse back from his thoughts.

“You Will”. He asked.

“Yes Jesse, am also curious too on why she became this way when her dad is Don Roman”. Violet said.

“Then go ahead then”. Jesse said and leaves for his room.

“So Sharon works in Jesse’s company”. Janet asked.

And Violet nods her head.

“I won’t be surprised if her dad became poor all of a sudden, I mean after what she and her dad did to Jesse they deserve it”. Joanna said folding her arms.

And as for Jesse, he just stayed in the shower trying to get Sharon out of his mind, but couldn’t.

Joanna was about entering inside the supermarket when she bump into Liam, and the face cap she was wearing fell off from her head.

“Am so…….. Joanna”. Liam calls looking surprised and happy at the same time.

Joanna just look at him without saying a word.

“Is really you Joanna”. Liam said and hugs her looking so happy to see her again.

But Joanna quickly disengage the hug, she picks up her cap and puts it back on her head.

“Anna said you visited her the other day was that true”. Liam asked smiling.

“I have to go”. Joanna said quickly and turn to leave and Liam held her hand.

“Where are you going Joanna, I thought you were going inside the supermarket”.

“I changed my mind”. Joanna said and removes her hand from his.

And before Liam could say a word, Joanna quickly enters her car and drove off.

“What going on with her”. Liam muttered wondering why Joanna left all of a sudden, and he bends down to pickup the item he brought.

Even if he didn’t have the chance to talk to Joanna properly, he was still so happy he saw her again.

Jesse enters the factory where wines were being produced and sees the workers weren’t working.

“Good morning boss Jay”. They all greeted.

“Why aren’t you working”. He asked coldly ignoring their greetings.

“Because the equipments aren’t ready”. Cindy said admiring Jesse’s cute face.

“And who is in charge of that”.

“Is Sharon, Sharon lugard”. Another person answer.

And Jesse fold his fist in anger.

“Is Sharon”. He asked.

And they all nods their head.

“And where the heck is she!!!!!”. Jesse yells.

“Am sorry am late”. Sharon said as she push in the equipments inside the factory, looking so tired.

Jesse looks at her, and her heart skips on seeing him.

“Is this how you do your job delaying others because of your clumsiness!!”. Jesse yells.

And Cindy chuckle shaking her head.

“Am sorry Jesse I……”

“I told you never to call me that”. He yells.

Sharon bits her lips and said.

“Am sorry boss Jay”.

“Sorry that what you are always good at, who did heck do you think you are to be lazy in the job you are been paid for!!!!”. Jesse yells again.

And Sharon bits her lips fighting back the tears, that was already dropping from her eyes.

“You know”. Jesse said, and Sharon looks at him

“For acting as if you are the boss around here, you only will make the entire bottles of wines needed”.

“What,,,but I don’t know how to make wines”.

“And does it look like I care, I want 2,000 bottles of wines made by you only, and you have only an hour to do that”. Jesse said coldly.
