Chapter 1

Ara’s pov

The Kim’s Residence…..

“Ara come eat the, Dinner is re-ady ” My mom yelled.

“Am coming mom!! ” I answered.

I stood up from my Queen size be-d, gently stepping on my foot mat and wore my fl!pflops.

I got downstairs and saw my mom, dad and my little cute brother Mi Ho sitting round the table filled with foods but haven’t start eating.

I sat down beside my mom, and the maids start serving the food. I took my fork and began doing justice on my food.

“Yummy!! ” My brother squeaked, l!çk!ng his bottoml-ip.

“Ara, your new uniform will be re-ady before night, so you will be going to your new school tomorrow ” Dad said, as he took a sip of his wine.

“Ok dad, I can’t wait for tomorrow ” I said, and faced my food.

Silence took over, we ate our food and the maids began packing the plates.

I walked to my room and l@yon my be-d, took my phone and searched on my new school.

“ROCKIE HIGH SCHOOL” I saw many pictures and their activities, the field look nice, the cl@ss too and others.

One bad news I heard about the school is that, the rich students bully the poor ones. That sounds good.

“Gonna teach those tiny witches and wizards a lesson and never to bully the poor ones ”

I heard a knock on my door “Come in, the door isn’t locked.

“Good afternoon ma’am ” I turned and saw a short woman, am sure she will be in her fifties, dressed in a maid uniform.

Father is just getting new maids every week.

Plus one, it gonna be fifteen now.

“Good afternoon, how may I help you? ” I asked, staring at the package in her hands.

“I brou-ght your uniform, from Rockie high school ” She answered.

“Oh! The uniform! Drop it on the couch there ” I pointed to a pink couch in front of her.

Almost every thing in my room has pink color. My favorite color.

“OK ma’am, I will be going now ” she said, and dropped the package on the couch and turned towards the door.

She twisted the knob and pushed the door opened, she turned to me before going, saying

“Be careful when you get to that school, don’t let your father’s money get to your head. Have known you for a good girl ” She flashed me a smile and went out closing the door behind.

“Wow! I never knew the woman was thinking exactly what I was thinking” I mumbled.

I had made up my mind to stay low in school, and thank God am h@rdly recognized by people that am the Kim’s daughter.

Am an indoor person, whenever my family wants to take us out, I don’t go out with rather bring my own share.

I will be in,side helping the maids in the kitchen or cleaning. I know my father is the riche-st person in the whole south Korea but that doesn’t mean I should be lazy.

Even when we had visitors, I lock myself up in the room. I don’t have friends.

I glanced at the package once more and l@ydown on my be-d and didn’t know when I sle-pt off.

Next Morning… 🕖

🕰”Grinnnnnn!!!Grinnnnnn!!! ”

“Arggh! plea-se let me sleep, st©p ma-king noise. Aren’t you tired of disturbing people huh?” I opened my eyes slowly and saw the table clock.

“Jesus!! 7:00am! Am supposed to be in school before 7:30, Geez! ” I quic-kly stood up, wore my fl!pflops and ran into the bathroom.

I took my bath, dried my b©dy with my towel and c@m£ out.

I creamed my b©dy, took out my uniform and “Wow” it beautiful. I put it on and it fit perfectly to my b©dy.

I love the tailor who sew this uniform. He/she deserves am award.

Wait! I haven’t brush my teeth. God! I ran to the bathroom again and brushed my teeth quic-kly.

I got to my room and sat down in front of my dressing mirror and combe-d my long brown hair ,ma-king it fall freely.

No makeup. I don’t do makeup. I took my pink school bag, my phone and walk out of my room.

I got downstairs and saw my mom running towards me.

“Ara, what took you so long. I was about checking on you ” my mom said, adjusting my tie.

“Don’t nee-d to bother your self mom, am late so I nee-d to go now ” I answered, and walk p@ss her.

“Won’t you eat before going? ”

“No mom ” I got outside an saw my brother in the car with our driver.

Too bad I won’t be going with them. I took my bicycle, sat on it and was about going out when dad c@m£ out.

“Ara! What happened to the car? ” he asked.

“Am not going with that dad, am okay with the bicycle ” I uttered.

“But you… ” I didn’t let him finish his s£ntence before ri-ding off.

“Bye dad!!” I waved my hand.

I took out my phone and turn on the map that shows where the school is located.

30 minutes later..

“Not even far from home ” I muttered.

I rode in but the security st©pped me halfway, “Where is your p@ss? ” He asked and I blinked my eyes.

“P@ss? Am just a new student here”

“Oh really, but next time poor people like you should have a p@ss Huh? It either you have a p@ss or a car ” He explained.

Like seriously! Which kind of school is this? It either I have a p@ss as a poor student or a car as a rich student.

And he was even calling me a poor girl, if only he knew that this bicycle am ri-ding can buy his family and even his next generation fool!

But I have to stay low. “OK sir, maybe when I collect the p@ss, tomorrow I can show you ” I said and he nodded like a lizard.

“Now go, cause you’re getting late ”

“OK sir ” I entered the school fully and the sight made want to jump and t©uçh every thing.

It school is so beautiful, fountains were are the left and right side.

The fields were green, and the sight of students going in and out of the cl@ss, dressed elegantly.

I didn’t notice when I hit my bicycle on a girl.

I had realized but she was on the floor alre-ady. She look a little tattered.

“Am sorry, am sorry, I didn’t see you. I was carried away ” I apologized.

She stood up dusting her uniform, and arranged her hair properly.

“It okay, I guess you’re a new student? ” she asked.

“Yeah, I am. Am Ara and you? ”

She smiled “Am Soo Bin, nice meeting you ”

“Yes, uhm.. Can you show me the principal’s office? ”

“Yes, let’s go but you have to pack your bicycle in that park there ” she pointed to a big garage where cars and bicycle like mine are parked.

“OK, I will ” I got there and parked the bicycle beside a car.

It really look expensive tho but mine father’s cars are more expensive.

Am not br@gging.

We walked towards the building, it really look nice in,side than the outside.

We got to a office and I entered but she stood outside.

“Good morning sir ” I greeted.

“Good morning, are you the new student? He asked.

“Yes, Kim Ara ” I answered.

“OK, Are you the Kim’s daughter? I mean…” I cut him off.

“No sir, am not ”

He can’t know cause I did everything online both the exams.

“I know you can never be, cause you don’t look like a rich girl ” He adjust his gl@ss properly on his nose.

That’s none of my business. He handed me my schedules and a map and told me my sport wears will be re-ady tomorrow.

I got out of his office and saw the girl leaning on the wall. She saw me and walk towards me.

“So what cl@ss will you be staying?” she asked, and I looked at my papers in my hand.

“Cl@ss C ”

She g@sped. “That’s my cl@ss!! Can we be friends plea-se? ”

“OK, I guess I made a friend first day at school”

she giggled. “Yeah, first day at school ”

We walked towards the cl@ss and my heart began beating fas-ter.

Chapter 2

Ara’s pov

Nervousness!!

My hands bec@m£ sweaty and glued to the papers in my hands. She opened the door and I walked in behind her.

“Wow ” I said lowly.

The cl@ss was superb. The cl@ss was noisy but st©pped when they all turned to me. I was standing in front of the whole cl@ss.

“Hmm.. Hmm.. Cl@ss, this is Ara and she’s a new student here. I hope you guys…. ” A girl cut her in.

“Did we ask you to introduce her to us? She should be the one to introduce herself not you fool. Poor church rat. ” She rolled her eyelashes and sat properly on her chair.

Immediately, the whole cl@ss laughed like they haven’t done that for years.

“I was only trying to help her out, she seems nervous to talk ” She defended, with tears building up in her eyes.

Gosh! This girl just disgraced my new friend? So it really true, the rich ones bully the poor ones. Not when am now in this school.

“Excuse me plea-se, you don’t have to downgrade like that. You just disgraced her in front of the whole cl@ss ” I said, clutching my bag ti-ghtly.

“Wait! Are you daring me too? You’d better watch your mouth cause this school is gonna be hell most especially the poor fools like you ” Her voice was hoarse.

“Young Hee, that’s okay. Let’s continue what we were discussing and leave the little frogs alone” A red haired girl spoke and she obeyed.

Young indeed. I turned towards my new friend, a tear had dropped down from her left eye but she cleaned it immediately.

“Am sorry for causing this ” I apologized pitifully.

“Oh! It nothing Ara, you know what? There’s a vacant seat beside me, so you gonna be sitting beside me” She smiled and dragged me.

We got to the back seat and we both sat down. Luckily, a teacher walked in and began teaching and throwing questions at we the students.

I was glad he didn’t call me cause I wasn’t concentrating. His time is up and he’s still teaching.

Soon, he went out and another teacher c@m£ in apologizing about been late to cl@ss.

We did two subjects and now we are having our break. I packed my books into my bag and followed Soo Bin to the cafeteria.

We ordered two burgers each and began doing justice to it.

“It like the 4HB aren’t in school today, perhaps they might be having a pri-vate cl@ss ” Soo Bin shrugged.

“4HB? You mean 4 HB pencils or what? ” I asked, confused.

She laughed wholeheartedly, “Ara, you are so funny. I didn’t say 4 HB pencils, They are humans and the 4HB am talking about means 4 Handsome Boys. Do you un-derstand now?” She explained.

Like seriously?! 4HB? Why on earth are they given that name? Are they handsome? Guess I can’t wait to see them.

“Can you tell me about them? plea-se ” I pleaded ma-king a puppy eyes.

“Everyone leave now, the 4HB are here ” We heard someone yelling.

And immediately every one stood up heading out of the cafeteria some where even running.

“Ara, let’s go. The rude br@ts are here and they mustn’t see anyone here or else you gonna get punish for this ” She said, dragging me up from my seat.

“I thought you said they aren’t coming? Moreover, I can’t leave here until I finish this burger and the break isn’t over yet.” I replied perfunctorily and sat back.

“Ara st©p been stubborn, this boys are not like the normal people you see around you. They are devils”

“Fine! I will leave, not until I finish this food ” I began chewing my burger.

She sighed.

Without saying a word, she left.

” You really love pla-ying with fire Ara.” I turned and saw the fool Young hee or what her name and her red haired friend.

I gave her no response.

” Well good for you, oh! Yoo nah! My crush is here! My handsome Tae! ” She cried, as her friend handed her a handkerchief.

Fool! 😏

I turned and saw four angels coming in, Young hee and Yoo nah ran out leaving me to my fate.

The one in the front look more handsome than the three. No wonder they are the 4HB.

As the crazy girl I am, I continued my food. Am the only one left in the cafeteria.

They walked closer to me and st©pped, Their hands stuck in their pockets. The one in front climbe-d the chair I was sitting then the table.

” Didn’t you hear when Leo said everyone should be out of the cafeteria? ” He asked, and kicked the burger in my front.

I g@sped.

“Hey! You shouldn’t have done that ” I said, trying to calm down.

Unleashing my anger on this mannerless boy here won’t be good.

He arched his brow and turned to his brothers I think.

“I guess she’s the new student here, she look pretty stubborn ”

“She look disgusting bro ” Another handsome fool said and squee-zing his face in disgust.

“Hey! Give me two coffees there ” He yelled and it was immediately bought to him.

He drank one and opened the second one to drink but he didn’t instead, he poured everything on my uniform.

My jaw dropped.

It was a h0t coffee. Anger surge into b©dy that made me want to sl@p him but I won’t.

‘Ara calm down, calm down, calm down’ I glanced at him then his brothers.

I walked two steps away from them but he held my hand causing me to st©p.

“This is just the beginning for you dear.” He whispered in to my ear and pushed me away.

I fell down and hit my arm on a pillar. I yelped in pain.

“Guys, she just made me lost my appetite alre-ady ” The one who look younger said then walked away.

“Same here too ” Another one said and walked away too.

“Tae, let’s just go home. You knew I hate eating in the school cafeteria but you were the one who insisted we eat here.

And now, this poor baby rat just made me hate this place the more. Gosh! Am out of here ”

Good for him. The one who poured coffee on me is Tae, the one Young hee is crushing on.

He’s just too handsome but has no manners. Too rude.

I stood up and dusted the dirts on my clothes off.

He scoffed and began humming a song.

I limped out of the cafeteria, to the hallway then to the cl@ss.

“OMG! Ara! Who did this to you? ” Soo bin asked, scanning my whole b©dy.

“Humm..it nothing, I fell down and had to hit my hand on a pillar” I smiled ruefully.

“Oh.. And your shi-t? It smells like coffee and the boys hope they didn’t hurt you?”

” Let’s leave that for now Soo Bin ” She nodded and sat down on her chair reluctantly.

I stood up and went to the restroom to clean off the dirt but it got wors£n.

I sighed.

I got out and flin-ched when I saw a pretty girl with a cardigan in front of me.

“I was asked to give you this and remember to return it first thing tomorrow morning ” She said and turned to go.

I was glad. But wait! Who s£nt her to give me this?

I shrugged and wore it. It looks baggy. I got to cl@ss and everyone’s eyes were on me.

Wait?

The bell rang and a teacher c@m£, then another three teachers c@m£ and now it closing hour.

I waved Soo Bin good bye and walk towards where I parked my bicycle but got the greatest shock of my life.

My Bicycle!! 😭😭My precious bicycle!! 😭😭
