FEW HOURS EARLIER

Chloe was getting off the stairs after talking to Bryan when she walk into Leo who was about taking the stairs.

He steadied her when she was about to fall, holding her by the arm.

On seeing that it was Leo, she pulled away from him.

“Thank You” she said gruffly.

“How is he?” Leo asked.

“A bit well but I think he wants to be left alone” She replied referring to Bryan and when he had nothing to say, she turned to leave and once again he held her by the arm.

“What do you intend to do about this engagement cause it’s your fault that our parents have taken it seriously” he snapped at her.

“You provoked me and got me into talking and so you fix it, it’s your fault not mine” she said pulling away.

“You little….”

“Come close to me and I will kick your balls” Chloe threatened moving away from him while he stood still watching her.

“You might have been able to bully me that day and that’s because I was caught off guard but I won’t give you the chance of doing it again. If try to touch me, am gonna scratch your eyes out, poke that ugly looking nose of yours and leave that cheek of yours scarred that Stephanie wouldn’t want you even if you were gift wrapped to her!” Chloe yelled at him and for a while he kept watching her until his face crinkled up in laughter.

Chloe who was angry couldn’t help but to notice his smile, it’s the first time she will see him relaxed and care free.

“Wow! I never knew you could laugh” she said aloud her thought which sobered him up.

“Am also a human ”

“A human who always scowled his face at me. Am having goosebumps due to seeing your laughter” she said showing him her arm.

“Whatever” Leo muttered moving past her while she followed still berating him about his laughter.

A while later after they finished having dinner and Valerie’s mom insisted on staying behind, Leo was told to take Chloe home which they refused at first but having no choice, they left the house together.

SOME HOURS LATER – VALERIE’S HOME

“It isn’t what I think right?” Leo asked Chloe who also wanted to believe the same.

Moving towards the door, she opened it and what she and Leo saw got both their eyes widening.

There was Stephanie lying naked on the bed while Lucas rammed into her hole from above.

The both of them were busy moaning out in ecstacy that they didn’t notice Chloe and Leo who stood by the door way.

Leo left the scene without doing a thing and Chloe followed him.

She got to him before he got into the car to drive off.

“Are you sure you can drive in this state? Let me help you call our driver to…..”

“I can take care of it myself” He replied firmly before getting into the car to drive off.

Chloe let out a sigh as she watch the car turn down the street. She had believe Stephanie to be every thing but not a cheater and for her being caught this way by Leo is the worst thing that could ever happen to her.

M&M ACADEMY ~ CAFETERIA

“The school trip is tomorrow, Is every one of us ready?” David asked as they all sat together having their lunch.

“You are going on that school trip thanks to Valerie, you should be feeling grateful!” Judy said as she bit into her snacks.

After the performance of yesterday, she had gone back into wearing her baggy jeans and top with her face void of make up.

“And we are grateful, we really are” David replied in return before turning his gaze on Pearl who was quiet.

“Why so quiet? Thinking about me?” David asked winking at her.

“Why would I be thinking about you! You aren’t the only guy in the world” Pearl snapped at him mainly because she had really been thinking about him.

“Easy! I was just asking, there’s no need to be grumpy” David replied.

“Stop bothering them, they aren’t in the mood” Lucas said to David who frowned at him.

Just then of the junior student approached them having a gift box with him.

“Is that for me?” David asked eagerly.

“No but it’s for Senior Judy” the student said while Judy stared at him in surprise.

“For me?” She asked looking a bit doubtful.

“The person who gave this to me told me to give it to you personally” the student said handing her the gift box.

“Well, tell him or her I say thanks” Judy said feeling flattered by the gift.

“It’s a he and I will surely tell him” the student said before leaving the cafeteria.

“Judy has got an admirer” David said while every wooed at her.

“Did they leave a card or some thing?” Pearl asked in excitement.

“What could be inside?” Lucas muttered.

“Open it, it might just be some thing dangerous” Mira added.

“Don’t exaggerate Mira!” Pearl admonished softly while Judy pealed off the wrap only to reveal a box of chocolates and added to it was a brief message.

★ TO THE MOST GORGEOUS GIRL ON EARTH ★ Pearl read out while Judy blushed in excitement.

“Have a bite of it Judy!” Pearl urged.

“Don’t you think that’s going a bit too far?” Luke who had been quiet through the whole time spoke up.

“What do you mean?” Judy asked in return.

“This was brought by some one annoymous, what if it has been poisoned or some thing worse has been added to it? You take things for granted” Luke told them pointedly.

“But I think it’s a harmless gift ” Mira said in return.

“Thinking isn’t feeling. Don’t put your friend in danger because of what you think” Luke said taking the box of chocolates and passing it to three female students who was walking past them.

“Thank you senior Luke” the girls said in excitement before leaving the cafeteria.

“I didn’t ask you to do that!” Judy half yelled.

“You will get to thank me about it some day” he said with confidence and Judy rolled her eyes at him while the others laughed.

“What’s with that guy?” Wilfred who was seated on another table with his own set of friends let out in anger.

“What guy?” Jessica asked following his gaze only to see him starring at Judy and her group.

“Didn’t that duckling recieve a gift from a guy now?” Jessica muttered.

“She did recieve one, I mean why would a duckling recieve a gift while Stephanie is…..” Marianna stopped talking when she notice the look Jessica Stephanie sent her way.

“Leave me out of your conversation” she said to Marianna who nodded in return.

“It’s because she’s pretty” Wilfred said suddenly responding to Jessica and Marianna question.

“What! Don’t tell me that you are part of those guys who fell for her ugly transformation yesterday?” Jessica asked but Wilfred didn’t bother to give a reply since his focus was on Judy.

Wilfred glared at Luke who kept talking to Judy while also feeling angry that he gave the box of chocolates he had bought for Judy to some one else.

Who the hell does he think he is? Wilfred thought as he kept glaring at Luke.

On the other hand Stephanie kept starring at her phone wondering when Leo will reply her text.

Ever since she arrived to school today, she hasn’t seen him and he wouldn’t pick her calls or reply her message.

“Have you guys seen Leo today?” Stephanie asked aloud.

“Of course, I saw him during the…..there he is” Jessica said as they all stared at the cafeteria door way to see Leo coming in.

“Why the hell does he have that expression on his face?” Marianna asked on seeing the angry look on Leo face.

“Maybe some one pissed him off” Wilfred replied as they four of them watch Leo approach Judy’s table.

Leo went straight to Lucas, punching him on the face while startling every one in the cafeteria.

SCHOOL GARDEN

Chloe sat on the bench starring at Bryan who kept laughing non stop and that’s due to what she told him.

“Do you think it’s funny?” Chloe asked in frustration.

“It is! The dummy have always thought Stephanie to be a saint and he found out that she’s nothing but a devil, serves him right” Bryan replied referring to Leo.

“I know that you hate Leo and all but that doesn’t mean that you should feel happy at his sadness” Chloe berated.

“Leo is like that with me, so why can’t I do the same and you haven’t been here for long to know what Leo is like. If the real Valerie was here, she would also be laughing with me at this very moment” Bryan replied while she let out a scoff.

“Leo must have been mean to you and Valerie. What really happen between the both of you a year ago?” She asked suddenly.

“Nothing you should concern your self with” Bryan replied.

“But you….”

“Why do you only have foreign music in your play list?” He asked changing the subject which got Chloe distracted.

“It’s my choice of music, if you don’t like it then give it back to me” She said wanting to take the mp3 player from him but he stood up making it difficult for her since she’s short.

“I own this Mp3 now, so forget about getting it back” he told her firmly.

“That’s …..”

“Bryan! You’ve got to come to the cafeteria. Your brother is having a fight with Lucas” one of the student said interrupting Chloe.

On hearing that the three of them ran to the cafeteria where the other students was finding it hard to stop Leo from hitting Lucas.

“Stop it!” Bryan said as he pulled Leo away from the bloody Lucas.

David and Luke went to help Lucas up while Bryan and Chloe held onto the angry Leo.

“What is wrong with you? Why will you do that to him?” Stephanie who had been watching the scene in horror asked.

If looks could kill then Stephanie would have been dead due to the look Leo gave her before storming out of the cafeteria.

“What exactly is wrong with him?” Students muttered amongst themselves.

“Asking this slut here will earn you all a better explanation” Bryan said before joining David and Luke who were taking Lucas to the school infirmary.

“What did he mean by that” Stephanie said starring at Bryan.

“What he meant is that you’ve been caught. If you were going to sleep with both of them, you should have done your best in keeping it hidden you dummy!” Chloe yelled at her before leaving the cafeteria.

Though it took a while, she finally found Leo.

He was seated alone at the garden bench, starring at his knuckle which was injured from punching Lucas.

She knew she shouldn’t be here and that she should be happy that this sort of thing is happening to him but she couldn’t help but to feel sad and pity.

She made her way towards him and when she sat on the space beside him, he stared at her.

“Leave if you are here to gloat” he said harshly.

“And why would I want to gloat?” She asked in return.

“You dare ask me why, after all the things I did to you because of that slut!” He replied referring to Stephanie as the slut.

“I don’t know about you but am not here to gloat” she said taking hold of his hand to wrap her handkerchief around his bloody knuckle and that got Leo starring at her.

“You are right! I should be happy at what’s happening to you now but some how I don’t feel that way, maybe it’s due to my soft hearted heart” she added smiling a little wanting to ease the tense atmosphere.

“In a situation like this I was expecting you to deal with it like an adult but you chose to do it like a raging teenager” she said again which eased the anger within Leo.

“Am a teenager after all” Leo said which got her chuckling.

“You are a teenager and that’s why you handled it the wrong way”

“And what’s the right way for you?” Leo asked.

“The right way is by showing Stephanie that she no longer matters to you, things like that hurts us a lot” Chloe told him which got him thinking even as she finished wrapping up his knuckle.

“So the next time you see Stephanie,make her feel that she’s no longer important to you, it will be the best pay back of all. Make sure you get that checked, am off now” she said walking off while Leo kept watching her until she walk out of his sight.

TWO DAYS LATER

The two buses hired for the school trip was filled up with the students and one of it had Chloe and her friends in it.

Chloe who busy having a chat with Mira who was seated by her side stopped when Leo approach them.

“Can you leave that seat?” Leo asked Mira who was at first surprised by his request.

“Why will you tell her to leave?” Chloe demanded.

“Cause I want to seat next to you my Fiancee” Leo said which earned him the other students attention and also Bryan who was seated at the back row with his friends.

“Are you leaving or….”

“I am leaving, I will vacate the seat for you” Mira said taking her things while Leo sat beside Chloe.

“What are you doing Leo?” Chloe asked which got him starring at her.

“You told me to make Stephanie feel that she’s no longer important to me and that’s what am doing” he replied.

“So you mean that you plan to use me to make Stephanie feel that’s she no longer important?” Chloe asked and he nodded.

“There’s no better way in making her feel useless other than by showering you lots of attention. Sounds great right?” Leo asked her with a smile on his face…..
