SCHOOL TRIP ~ TWO HOUR EARLIER

Leo walk into the school, prepared for the school trip when Stephanie approach him.

“We need to talk, Leo” she said obstructing his path but he turned to take the other path which she blocked easily again.

“We’ve got to talk” Stephanie said pulling him back but he jerk his hand out of her hold.

“I wouldn’t have done that if you had payed me more attention ” she yelled after him and that got him stopping mid way.

“Payed you more attention? Did I just hear you say that?” He asked.

“Yes! I wouldn’t have been tempted to cheat on you with Lucas if you had been more attentive” Stephanie told him again.

“You bitch!” He swore violently feeling very angry.

“Did you just swear at me? You’ve never done that before” Stephanie said looking hurt.

“That’s because I didn’t know you were a bitch but I do now and I hate the very sight of you. Showering you with my attention was my number one priority, I never failed you neither did I ever look at any one else not even Valerie who truly loved me ” He said.

“So are we talking about Valerie now?” Stephanie asked feeling angry too.

“We are. At least she proved to me that her love was for real whereas the bitch I thought truly loved me was busy f**king around with that jerk. Well you can keep up with the act, it won’t matter to me at all” Leo said.

“Are you sure? You love me and so you can’t leave me easily” Stephanie declared.

” Do you think so? Then watch how I discard you for some one else” he said walking off and when he got to the other students, he noticed a group of people playing a game and when he saw Chloe amongst them, he let out a slow smile.

“Rock, paper, scissors!” David yelled as Luke, Judy, Chloe, Bryan, Mira and Pearl played the game.

“You lose!” David yelled at Chloe who faked a sad expression.

“You get to take our bags to the bus trunk” Judy said in mockery.

“But still isn’t that too much task for a girl” Chloe said starring at Bryan who looked away.

“We played a game and every one won fairly while you lost, so stick to it and keep up with the game” Luke said to her while they all went off to the bus leaving their bags which were packed for the trip in her hands.

Chloe let out a sigh as she began picking up the bags.

She was about taking the fifth bag when some one grab for it instead, She looked up to see that it was Lucas who took the bag from her.

“Leave it, I will help you take it to the bus” Leo said with out looking at her.

“Uh!”

“Drop the bags and I will take it to the bus” he replied now looking up at her and she left it for him.

She went to the bus wondering why Leo offered to help and that thought was still bothering her when Mira signaled her to seat with her.

A while later Chloe who busy having a chat with Mira when they were interrupted by Leo’s approach.

“Can you leave that seat?” Leo asked Mira who was at first surprised by his request.

“Why will you tell her to leave?” Chloe demanded.

“Cause I want to seat next to you my Fiancee” Leo said which earned him the other students attention and also Bryan who was seated at the back row with his friends.

“Are you leaving or….”

“I am leaving, I will vacate the seat for you” Mira quickly replied taking her things while Leo sat beside Chloe.

“What are you doing Leo?” Chloe asked which got him starring at her.

“You told me to make Stephanie feel that she’s no longer important to me and that’s what am doing” he replied.

“So you mean that you plan to use me to make Stephanie feel that’s she no longer important?” Chloe asked and he nodded.

“There’s no better way in making her feel useless other than by showering you lots of attention. Sounds great right?” Leo asked her with a smile on his face.

“Hold on a sec, I didn’t ask you to do this just to make her feel useless, there are other ways and…..

“This is the only way I want it and so you should just accept it that way” he said pulling out a book to read while she relaxed on her seat with defeat.

There’s no way she can get him to stop all this since she is the one who gave him the advice.

After she finish unpacking her stuff, she went to lunch area where Judy, pearl and Mira were waiting.

“Sorry I made you guys wait. Oh! It’s my favourite” Chloe said starring greedily at the oyster soup.

“Now that you are here, it’s time you tell us what’s going on between Leo and you” Pearl asked.

“Have been wondering all day why he gave me the order to get up just so he could seat by your side” Mira said interestedly.

“Don’t tell me that you still love him cause you made it clear to us that you don’t ” Judy said.

“And I meant what I said, I no longer love Leo and he’s only being this way with me because he wants to make Stephanie jealous” Chloe said.

“It’s true that I want to make Stephanie jealous but also I plan on earning your love once again” Leo said as he joined them.

“Will you stop talking like that!” Chloe admonished.

“What? Am just saying the truth” Leo replied eating his food.

“Hey! We all know that you’ve never been interested in Valerie, so stop with your pretence and leave this table” Judy said angrily.

“Am only going to do as Valerie says and not what you say ” Leo replied.

“Have heard those same lines before and it’s from your brother, you two are very much alike” Pearl stated.

“Am nothing like Bryan, so I suggest you don’t ever compare me to him again” Leo snapped at Pearl who nodded in reply.

“Stop being rude to my friends and leave this table, you are starting to annoy me” Chloe said but Leo only smiled at her in return.

“You were clingy and annoying too in the past and so you will have to bear with me now” he replied and Chloe let out a sigh while Judy scoff at him and Pearl thought him to be corny while Mira kept grinning at the situation on ground.

Chloe looked up only to see Bryan watching them at the other table, he stared at her for a while before looking away.

Is he angry? She thought as she went back to eating her food.

A while later Chloe made her way to Bryan’s tent but she was told by David that he went for a little stroll.

She began searching for him and when she found him, A smile brightened her face as she ran towards him.

“Bryan!” She called and when he saw that it was her, he began to walk off but she held his arm.

“We need to talk” she said.

“About what?” Bryan asked.

“About Leo” She replied as he pulled his hand out of hers.

“What about him? I thought you were enjoying his attention”

“Don’t be sarcastic. Am not Valerie and am not excited by his sudden attention” she said.

“Really! Then why give him such advise when you don’t want his attention?”

“I only did that because I felt sorry for him and nothing else” Chloe replied.

“You should have just mind your business, don’t you know what Leo is like?”

“I don’t and that’s why I rendered him my help and advice and now I need your help” Chloe said pleadingly.

“How do you want me to help you with this?” Bryan asked.

“I don’t know! Just do some thing to get him off my back, please” Chloe pleaded again.

“Am sorry but there’s nothing I can do to help you, get yourself out of the mess you created” he said leaving her standing there.

Judy was heading to her tent when a female student approached her with a gift box.

“Some one told me to give this to you” The girl said.

“Really?” Judy asked taking the box from her.

Is her secret admirer here too? She thought starring around them.

As soon as the female student left, Judy pulled out the letter attached to the box and read his message.

★ ITS A PITY YOU COULDN’T EAT THE PREVIOUS ONE BUT I HOPE YOU DO WITH THIS ONE ★

A smile curve Judy cheek and she was still smiling when she recalled some thing.

Still starring at the letter, she took to her heels heading to a particular tent and when she got there, she was lucky to find who she was looking for.

“Tell me if this came from you?” She demanded showing Wilfred the letter.

“I….you….”

“So it is you. You are the one who have been sending me this, why? To bully me?” Judy asked as she kept catching her breath due to her run.

“Not to bully you” Wilfred replied quickly.

“Then why this? Why are you doing this to me?” Judy asked.

“It’s because I like you!” He said gruffly which got her eyes widening in shock.

“What did you just say?” Judy asked.

“I said I like you, I really like you” Wilfred replied and Judy’s reply was to let out a deafening scream before running off.

She kept running trying to get rid of Wilfred confession from her mind when some one caught her by the arm.

“Where are you running off to looking distracted?” Luke asked.

“It’s just that I…..” Judy stopped looking around her as if Wilfred will just pop out of no where.

“It’s just that what? Are you being pursued by some one?” Luke asked looking worried.

“It’s not that, I found out who my secret admirer is” she said.

“And he turns out to be what you didn’t expect right?” Luke asked.

“Yes” Judy replied slowly.

“Who is he?”

“Wilfred” she answered pulling her hand out of his.

“Sounds crazy right? But he turn out to be my secret admirer and when I confronted him about it, he didn’t even deny it ” Judy said remembering his confession.

Slowly Luke took hold of her hand again and she stared at him.

“Don’t let his words get to you. He might just be toying with you” Luke said while she nodded In return.

“I also think the same way cause I clearly don’t believe that he is truly interested in me ” she said honestly.

“Don’t worry. I will take care of Wilfred for you, where did you last see him ” He asked and she told him where she saw Wilfred.

Luke had left her standing there for a while when she realise what Luke was going to do.

She feels grateful for his intervention but she didn’t want him telling Wilfred to f**k off in the bad way, she wanted to do it herself and in the most gentlest way of all.

She got back to Wilfred tent only to see Luke talking to him already and so she hid behind a tree listening in on their conversation.

“Why would you tell me not to be interested in Judy?” She heard Wilfred asked.

“It’s simple! She’s not pretty. You are only wasting your precious time on her and you are giving the poor girl false hope by showing your interest in her” Luke said and that made Judy sad by hearing Luke say that about her.

“So your saying I should not be interested in her because she’s not pretty?”Wilfred asked and Luke nodded.

“Not only is she not pretty but she doesn’t suit your calibre. If you allow me, I will introduce you to many other pretty girls who are much more better than Judy” he said.

“Why are you doing this exactly? What will you gain out of it? Did Judy send you?” Wilfred asked.

“Am doing this to help Judy and I won’t gain anything by telling you all this and let’s say Judy did send me but mostly am warning you off her so you don’t get to regret your decision when you see the kind of person she is” Luke replied.

Not being able to listen to more of Luke insults, she left the scene heading straight to her tent.

“That jerk! If he didn’t want you help then he could have say so on time” Chloe said cursing Bryan as she made her way back to the tent she shared with her friends.

She was almost there when she heard her name being called, turning to know who it was, she was given a slap which got her staggering a bit.

“You slut! You weren’t able to get Leo in the past and so you are now using this opportunity to take him from me!” Stephanie yelled at Chloe earning the other students attention.

Chloe let out a sigh before slapping Stephanie back on the cheek.

“For the record! Am not taking any thing from you, not even your precious Leo. It’s the other way around and so I suggest you go to Leo and tell him to stay away from me” Chloe returned hotly turning towards her tent but she didn’t make it far because Stephanie grab her hair.

“Where are you going you bitch!” Stephanie said pulling it harder when Chloe trying to push her hand off.

Suddenly her hair was pulled free and it was Stephanie who groan out in pain.

Chloe turned to see Bryan holding onto Stephanie hand while she kept screaming out in pain.

“Don’t ever touch her again!” Bryan said pushing Stephanie away.

“What does it have to do with you!” Stephanie yelled at him.

“Every thing! So if you are going to mess with her then you should know that you are messing with me!” Bryan said while Chloe stared up at him in so much admiration.

“Are you some sort of hero or what!” Stephanie yelled at him just as Leo walk into the scene.

“What’s going on here?” Leo asked starring from Bryan to Chloe.

“Am glad that you are here cause am about to give an answer to Stephanie reply ” Bryan said to Leo.

“And what does that have to do with me?” Leo asked folding his arms on his chest.

“It has a lot to do with you since it involves Valerie and I” Bryan said pulling the confused Chloe towards him.

“Every one listen up! Valerie and I are dating and when I say dating, I mean that it’s for real” Bryan said earning every one attention including Chloe who was shocked by his speech.

Starring down at her Bryan whispered slowly.

“Play along with me” he muttered and taking hold of her chin,he kissed her on the lips causing a stir among every one….
