Chapter 28🌀.
Death they say, is inevitable. Right through that portal, i fell from the sky and landed on a cold floor, almost unconsious and the feeling of powerlessness intoxicated me.
I stood up and looked around, this was another world entirely, i was still in the same planet but the location over here was different. I looked to the left and right while struggling to survive and all i saw was ice, snow no single sight of a grass sprout, this was a desert.
“Where am i?” I asked no one in particular
I looked down and saw my broken sword , wasn’t useful i thought. But i could still manage it since that looked like the only weapon i had with me. I walked moving just to find someone or something that could tell me where i was..
Location: The dark city.
The king sat on his throne, making plans for his attacks om sagoe and the villages.
“My king, did you kill that warrior that battled with you yesternight” Captain daze asked
The king laughed “I didn’t kill him, i only transferred him to a wasteland so he could die slowly and painfully”, He said
“What wasteland?”, Captain daze said
“Well the wasteland is in an unknown destination and you can’t reach there by foot” He said
“He will die there”, Captain daze said
“Monsters of that vicinity, i heard are more than ferocious than ever, it takes time for a human to adapt to the weather and even if you do, starvation will kill you, it is a vast prison” The king said
“Ok sire” Captain daze replied
“Get my general and prepare the dark dynasty and soldiers for battle, i want to male all SLAVES” He said
“Ok your highness” Captain daze said.
All kings of the dark city, are known as the dark kings but they are ordinary like normal people untill they are possessed by the True dark king once possessed it can’t be reversed. And with the rise of the dark king comes the great general and the dark dynasty.
Rebel villages.
A meeting was organized, the mission purpose was successful but the orb wasn’t gotten.
“We don’t know what happened to him but” Melvin said
“He might be dead” Kane completed
“He isn’t dead” Millan cried out “The josh in know can’t be dead” Sobbing she said
“This is a critical situation, we lost no one out of five hundred except one important person” Oshimov said
“This is no time to mourn or sit doing nothing”, Ranob said as he stood on a table “If josh were here would he have agreed to us mourning, the dark king is about launching an attack we need to battle and prevail for josh” He shouted
“How do we battle the dark king, we slowed them down but haven’t crippled them totally” Melvin said
“To be sincere people, what i would say is we shouldn’t involve ourselves in a direct battle with the dark king we would lose our lives” Kane said
“What are you saying? Kane” Ranob said
“Am saying we can’t come in contact with the dark king army face to face, we should attack from a different angle” Kane said
“What he says is true”, Melvin supported
“And we need to hurry for sagoe right now, we can’t battle an army of more than 20 thousands out here in the open fields” Dominion said
“You heard that, everyone pack your things we need to head for sagoe”, Melvin said
“We will try to create things that would slow, the army movement over here” Ranob said
“Good plan”, Oshimov said as he moved out signalling the people to move.
“Do you really think he is dead”, Millan asked
“If he was alive he should be here by now and besides the dark king was beating him up already, i engaged my special flame at him but it felt like nothing to him”, Melvin said
They all sighed as they left the scene.
Location: Wasteland.
I kept moving, didn’t care about my bleeding but i rather care more about the cold.
“So is this how i will die here”, I shouted in agony.
“No shelter, No food or water, Nobody”, I s¢ræmed.
As i took a step forward, i fell down through a hole, landing on snow and rolling to ice while i slide fast down and hit my self hærd on a wall.
“This is messed up”, I said looking around in pains.
“Where am i?”, I asked rhetorically.
I happened to be In some kind of dark cave and the only way i was seeing was through the glowing of my sword handle. “Wait a minute that is my crystal” I said with a molecule of shock i went quickly to my destroyed sword handle pressing a button and opening a special space containing the crystal.
“Good” i said holding it to brighten up the cave while i went
“Who, what is this place”, I said moving on
I took a turn and headed for an unknown destination and then i suddenly stopped and noticed some drawings on the walls. Just like those i had seen in the cave at the middle of the forest of sagoe.
“That was where i got this crystal”, I said falling to the my knees.
“Last time i fell into a trance but that means this isn’t similar to those in the cave at sagoe”, I said crawling slowly.
“I need food not this trash”, I said.
Location: Rebel Villages.
“Sagoe is far from here, we start the journey to there right now”, Melvin said
And so the journey to sagoe began for the people of the rebel village

Chapter 29 & 30.
The rebel villagers had began their journey to sagoe, as fast as they can go.
“Keep moving we will get there today”, Melvin shouted as he rode his horse
“We need to start making plans for our defence and offence”, Catherine said
“We can defend and attack but one thing is sure without great power we can’t defeat them”, Melvin said
“Don’t say that don’t tell me you would give up soon”, Kane said
“If Josh were here, What do you think he would do?”,Ranob said
“Josh couldn’t handle who wasn’t at his full potential at all”, Melvin said “We can attack but is it worth this people lives when we lose” He said as he rode his horse.
“Are you giving up Melvin”, Kane asked
Melvin stopped his horse and looked back.
“Am not giving up, but compare the odds, we can defend and attack but we will lose, the dark magic is stronger, i pity those who aren’t able to defend themselves, for when we battle, they will be left alone and when we lose, what happens to them”
“We don’t know until we try”, Kane said
“People move faster you need to get to safety”, Melvin said “So what is the defence and offence plan”, He said.
“Now you are talking”, Ranob said.
Location: Dark City.
“My king the dark dynasty have awaken, so also the great general” Captain Daze said as he bowed down.
A man walked in, he wasn’t looking hideous but his clothing was. Each step he took made no slight sound.
“My king”, He said in a mighty growl.
“Great General, the red headed dragon, you are welcome”, The dark king said
“My king”, He answered
“Prepare we attack to enslave the last city”, The dark king said
“Just like old times”, He laughed and disappeared
“Yeah, just like old times”, The dark king said with smirk.
“What the next thing to do?” Captain daze said
“We attack in the next three days as planned” The dark king said
Location: Journey back to sagoe.
“We use the topography to our advantage”, Ranob said
“You mean the hills slope”, Melvin said
“Yes, when coming up they will be slow we prepare our attacks from above”, Kane said
“We need to deplete their numbers before they reach here”, Catherine said
“We need to set traps ahead”, Melvin said “And i know someone who can do that perfectly”
“Who is that?”, Kane asked.
“You really wana know”, He said
“Come on tell us”, Millan said.
“Me”, He said.
Location: WasteLand Two days gone.
“Is this my end, do i stop and die here, what about over there?” I said to myself
Two days gone, all i have seen is the colour white, i walked to several places in this cave, did i just say walk, i crawled. Still wondering how i survived two days with no food. So this is the feeling being powerless.
I crawled with the glowing crystal igniting my way. Then i had a scratch on the cave walls, over and over again.
“Who goes there”, I said
“I should be the one asking you what you are doing here”, A voice said.
“Let me see you, you coward”, I shouted in pains
“Coward??”, The voice said again still scratching
“Now i know someone lives here i can die in peace”, I said “Do you eat bodies, mine is fresh”, He said
“I have been watching you for two days, i wonder how you still survive”, The voice said
“So you watched me but didn’ know i was hungry”, I shouted.
A man emerged from the dark cave, he had white hair and white beards and carried a white stick, he came towards me and laughed.
“You are a mess”, He said taking me up slowly.
“I need food man”, I said
“You will get food just follow me”, He said as he carried me and moved to his abode.
“So you live here alone”, I asked seeing his home.
“Yes, for the past 400 years, I lived here” He sad
“For 400 years” I shouted
“Yes”, He replied calmly
“Is there a way to leave here”, I asked
“Yes , but only those with magical powers can leave after destroying the beasts of destruction”, He said
“Damn, i have no powers”, I said sadly.
“Who told you that?”, He asked
“Well my powers were taken away, i just feel empty and useless” In said
“What is your name?”, He asked
“Josh” I said
“Well am Wong guardian of the wasteland” He said
“Great, i need to leave here quickly”, I said “And besides is that chicken meat””
“Yes it is”, Wong answered
“My lord, how does this taste so good”, I said
“I make them with magic”, He said
“God it is really the best i ever tasted” I said regaining my lost energy
“Take me to the beast of destruction, i need to leave here”, I said jogging and doing some pushups and punch strikes.
“You can’t defeat them after eating my chicken”, Wong said.
“Besides you are weak, useless, restless and stupid”, He concluded
“How dare you?”, I said angrily
“You wanna beat me up”, Wong laughed
“Don’t try me man, I am skilled”, I said
“You are proud and that is your destruction”, Wong said
“Am not proud, am good to everyone, you don’t even know me”, Josh said
“Your attitude now shows your behaviors”, He said
“Ok am sorry”, I said dropping the chicken
“The truth is that if you wanna leave here, you will need to defeat the beasts yourself”, He said
“How can i defeat this beasts”, I asked
“You will have to train for years”, Wong asked
“I can’t stay here for years”, I stay here
“Follow me”, He said snapping his fingers as they disappeared to another part of the wastelands.
“Whose graves are this”, I asked seeing thousands of grave
“All this people died here, some didn’t last a day, most gave up during the training and those who survived the training were killed by the beasts”, He said
I fell to my knees as tears came down from my eyes.
“So know one has left here successfully”, I asked
“Yes, Josh”, He said snapping his fingers again as we came back home
“I need to start my training”, I said “How do i start, where do i begin”
“It is your choice”, Wong said
“Master”, I said with my fists out and bowing down.
“You made the right choice Josh but you will need to work on your inner self before training begins” Wong said
“How ?”, I asked with intense curioisity
“Your mind should be your body”, Master Wong said “We begin you training later go eat lots of food now”.
