The Royal Guards and Street bullies looked shocked and surprise while i smiled at my knock out punch. The people were beginning to gather round the scene of battle, in anticipation and excitation, me on the other hand was still drinking a sweet wine nectar while the attackers just wanted my feather which was a big fortune at that time. The people just couldn’t wait for my attackers to ruin my face, among the crowds i could see Rita and her bf smiling at each other while they looked at me.

This made my inner mind burn as i looked at the crowd and saw the look of me been beaten since that was what the crowd and people of sagoe loved seeing me get into..

“Ok Bullies and Guards, leave here instantly or i would be forced to send you all to hell” I said dropping my wine jar in fury.

“How dare you” A guard said pointing his finger

At this moment the brutal or should i say ruthless princess was passing in her carriage..

“Time for some action” I said silently

“You all think simply because i let you do what you want on me and i let you all pass by that ends now, dare me now and get ready to be off the menu” I shouted removing my blaze from my back.

“Get him” the princess shouted looking for a chance to see me spanked.

“Alright then come get some” I said feeling the intense power rushing through my veins..

The guards smirked and laughed at me seeing my sword didn’t even lift them off their feet, they laughed and laughed but i smiled giving them the go ahead signal.

They looked at me.

“Get him” They shouted surrounding me.

I placed Blaze back into my sheath and knelt on one knee while holding the jar of wine which was beside me. Remembering the old man Johnson had weakened me but when i remembered that no one cared about him my body was increasing it rage by folds.

I stared at them with my eyes red from tears but seemed they didn’t even care about what i felt or not, i looked and saw the princess watching with a smirk, i saw rita and her boyfriend looking at me.

The crowd thought i was down to surrender but right within me was sorrow, joy, pain, pity, excitement.

“Attack” The bullies shouted as they all rushed at once to meet me with their spears, swords and battle weapons.

I immediately threw The jar of wine up, as i levitated myself up above them doing a back flip and landing on a guard head with one foot and catching the jar of wine.

The people seemed to be amazed but i was just beginning my trashing. The bullies attacked with their club trying to smash my knees but i did another backflip landing in the ground. While i took a sip from the wine i walked to a chair and sat down slowly still drinking. When suddenly out of no where a arrow came almost.piercing me but i froze it just in time..

“People were starting to get terrified as the guards and bullies seemed to have increased, i don’t bother myself but my attitude bothered them all.

I drank my wine finish and stood up from the chair a little shaken from my drink,.

“Beat him up” shouted the guards as they rushed at me with the bullies.

I charged at them freezing my fist to hærd froze. Dodging a slash by a guard and responding with a neck breaking punch, i slipped to the side kicking two guards down and grabbing a bully with my cold hands raising him up above me and sending him to the walls.

The others looked shocked as they started moving backwards but the guards stood still and attacked again. This time no joking anymore as i dodged a blow to the skull and grabbed the sender by the w–st smashing him backwards to the floor. Another guard from no where threw his spear from behind but luckily i dodged it grabbing the spear and sending it back to the guard who was pinned to the wall by it.

“See i need a drink” I said as i was bout taking my leave when 2 guards and bullies stopped me..

I moved backwards and broke to a run to the crowd nobody refused to make way for me but that was what i wanted.

I ran directly to Rita and her Bf and as usual they both stood still like i was nothing, i smiled looking at the chasers drawing near.

I ran to both of them avoiding a blow to my back by using Rita Bf as my platform for a wall flip or should i say human flip.

The blow landed on his abdomen while i quickly caught a guard from behind on mid air sending him to the floor the others swung their weapons against me but i dodged and forge ahead hitting one on the skull and the other two were knocked out by my spinning kicks which landed on their chins sending them to deposits of horses.

The princess was shocked looking at me in amazement i just gave her a smirk hitting the floor with a ball of black powder as i vanished back into my room to restart my drinking.

The trumpet sounded again and the main festival began, the king sat on his carriage moving out of the palace surrounded by guards in red coats.

While the music was going in and dances were performed i watched from afar as i saw the princess with her dad laughing at the dance and entertainment they watched. Prayers were been offered to the sun and people began their hitting of the sun festival music which to me was boring, i left my house and carried jars of wine while i walked to the market square where the festival was taking place as i arrived everyone was looking at me but i bothered not then i noticed that king james was also looking at me but i cared less.

I found a perfect s₱0t for just a person, pouring out my wine to drink more and more was my fascinating act.

When suddenly the drums sound moved with a rhythm so fast that it made me smile, i knew something was wrong. Just then the clouds changed and the floors shakes emitting white smoke, i ignored what was going on around me cause i didn’t know and didn’t want to know.

Suddenly the once loud festive sound became quiet and all i could hear was me gulping down royal wine down my throat.

What the hell happened i whispered but kept drinking out of nervousness fully alert when suddenly from within the..

I turned behind to know the cause if this uncomfortable silence and what I saw shocked me to my ribs..

Everyone was bowing down except the king and princess and me also. Didn’t know why but to be sincere this was my first sun festival, as a kid and young lad I never came out for the festival most times I was with old man johnson👴🏼.

Suddenly a old woman came forth out of the floors which emitted smoke, she held a staff immediately she appeared her eyes were focused on me I quickly shifted my eyes away while the people stood up.

I took another great sip and relaxed when suddenly blaze was tingling and it was disturbing me I turned back immediately just to see the old woman throw a spear at me so fast that I thought I would be in the after life but with my weak instinct I dodged it moving away to the right while it destroyed my jar of wine .

I stood up with anger in me, didn’t care weather she was from beneath gave no respect to anyone in sagoe not even to the king..

“Woman be warned” I said in anger as i pointed my finger towards her..

“How dare you fail to bow to me” She said in a voice that sounded like a maiden own.

“I bow not to no man and definitely not to you thing” I did increasing the tension among the people as that whispered among themselves.

She laughed and smiled and looked at the king who looked at her and at me.

” You will be dead meat” She said.

I ignored and took my last cup of wine and drank it looking at my destroyed jar and back to her crushing the cup with my hand I looked at her and gave a deadly smirk.

“How about I roast you” I said jokingly

“Josh keep quiet and bow to her” Uncle Milton said in Whisper.

“Am not bowing to know one” I said

“Why?? don’t interfere” Said Kira Uncle’s wife.

“I need him to get more feathers” Uncle Milton did and this made me more angry.

“You dare challenge me” The old woman said.

I laughed and sat in the table while the king say on his throne still watching.

” I need to teach you a lesson you would always remember” She said

“I already had several lessons, get behind me i have much more important things to deal with” I said taking a step to leave the scene when I suddenly heard a sound I looked behind and saw that she held a golden spear which I assumed deadly.

I faced her taking my battle stance while people scurried to safety and still watching from a distance, the king and his daughter had guards with extremely large shields protecting them.

She charged at me trying to hit me with the spear I kept moving when she suddenly got my throat and sent me down into a fruit table, I stood up and smiled but she was no where the suddenly I felt a tap behind me it urned around receiving a power kick to my abdomen sending me into a wall I stood up and charged at her sending a punch which dodged and replied with a quick upper chin kick which I caught giving her a kick to the abdomen and and face before throwing her again the king guard shield she stood up like nothing had happened I wasn’t scared either as I reached don’t to her just to become a punching bag while she sent heavy punches to my face I dodged some but some met my face turning it blue and black before i could make a move she grabbed my collar smashing me into walls and lastly into the floor.

I stood up then she made a spell as several thick twigs and vines held me up while she majestically walked towards me sending punches to me all over my body before she finally released me finishing me off with a kinda dangling kick that sent me right near my table I stood up totally battered but not defeated, seemed like I was enjoying her beating me up.

I sat on the table and waited for her move but she smiled and in a instant she was right at my front and struck hærd at me but I dodged it letting the spear destroy my table..

“My special s₱0t” I shouted, am not taking it likely with you I said as i removed blaze from my back and felt power in my veins..

She looked at me and took he left foot backwards getting ready for her battle.

“Time for amputation” I said.

The king, princess, uncle Milton an his wife with people of sagoe were shocked as I stood for battle.

The woman charged at me and her golden spear developed a blue aura while mine was a red aura.

I stood still and ran towards he sliding through her left side as I avoided the dangerous blade doing a back flip over her head a I avoided the sharp blade attacks right from my behind. My stunt landed me at her front she struck again but I jumped up avoiding the blade..

I gave a deadly strike to her spear which shook her a little, without hesitation she attacked me but I diverted to the left hitting her knee caps badly sending her to the floor she fired several blast beams a em with her magical spell but my force field stood still as I walked towards her..

With he might several wooden twines came from no where and attacked me, didn’t know and at that moment I already at down my force field, with instantaneous reflexes I began blocking the sharp twines that attacked me ferociously doing a double back flip as I created a force field before sending in my frost power towards her destroying all twines turning them to water droplets..

“So you know magic also” She said

“Quite some few” i smirked and charged at her.

She dodged my attacks swiftly as she vanished into white smoke out of know where she disappeared right above me falling straight down aiming for my skull i dodged her attacked and jumped up giving a kick to her abdomen and before the woman landed i sent my finishing move which was the spinning kick straight to her chin grabbing her w–st and flinging her to the guards shield the impact created scattered everyone and destroyed the barricade and almost hit the king but didn’t..

I smiled at my self and looked around as people came gathering round me while i saw the Uncle Milton with his mouth wide open, his wife touched him but he collapsed to the floor in shock.

The old woman i had just defeated stood up changing her spear to her staff.

“Chief priestess what brings you here” The king said

I was shocked and to avoid embarrassment as the people looked at me.

I immediately brought out my black powder ball and threw it to floor disappearing from their midst back home to take the frozen wine while i locked the door and window.

“Well my king the Dark king soul is awake and his dark dynasty would attack soon since sagoe is the last city standing” She said

“What do we do now” The king said as he sat down on his throne while the old lady kept talking in her maiden voice.

“And i thought the dark king was not in control of the dark empire since he died and the ruler isn’t the dark king himself” King James said

“No my king the dark king lives on in the soul of all his descendants for thousands of lineage he lives on” She said

“How do we defeat him and his empire we are only protected by the mountains” The king said

“We need a new team of specialized people to get the light gem of Mount VERNON” The lady said

“Alright firstly Change to your normal self and stop talking to me in the appearance of a old lady in disguise” The king said

“Ok your highness” she said as she waved her hand with a single stroke transforming to her normal self which was extremely beautiful and radiant like the sun.

“Much better” the king said

“Where do we get such team” The king asked

“we have to make the announcement to the whole kingdom.” she replied

“But every one knows that outside there is death the spies we sent are either dead or caught right now” The king said.

“We need to get the gem” She said again

“Alright i will talk with the general” King james said entering his carriage

“The man i fought might be of good use” She said

“Please don’t go there he is the son of a traitor” King james said

“We need all the help we can get from anywhere” She said

“I agree with you but am not sure he will agree” King James said

“Well who knows his place here” She asked

“My official is his guardian” King james said pointing to Milton

“Ok thank you your highness” She said going to Milton for the residence area.

I sat at home still mourning death by drinking as i watched blaze and saw the markings of old man Johnson. Something is strange i said to myself as i saw a particular drawing which drew my attention.

The carving of the beast i killed was also there. What relationsh¡p does he have with the beast. I asked mindlessly.

Old man johnson died a day after i killed the beast, something isn’t right.

Then i remembered that old man Johnson was the only one living in the forest really old but very strong. He knew the forest well.

Why did he call blaze the 13th blade and gave it to me.

Why did he die.

What was his relationsh¡p with the beast of 12 hands.

Something isn’t right and i must know what is going on.

I must go to the root.

I must visit the heart of the forest by tomorrow i said as i dropped my weapons and kept everything safe. I laid down tired from drinking and battle, my eyes became dim closing just in time for me to see someone enter my room while I passed out..
