Vincent phone rang, it was Frederick calling.

“Where are you? I want to see you before the trial starts” Fredrick voice sounded, through the phone.

“I’ll be there in ten minutes, I’m on my way” he replied then cut the phone afterward.

The guy beside Vincent turn his head to him.

Noticing his stare, Vincent frowned. Before he could react, the guy swiftly shove a sedative into his neck.

The old man change the direction of his car instantly.

‘What the hell!’ Vincent screamed inwardly as his eyes slowly close.

Vincient opened his eyes due to the water being splashed on his face. His head felt heavy as he blinked severally. He was being tied to a chair.

“Hello lawyer” a deep voice sounded through a speaker.

He raised his head and found two guys staring dangerously at him.

Vincent realized he was in a dark room, a speaker was just around a corner.

“Why did you bring me here?” Vincient gathered some courage and asked.

“You know the reason Mr Vincient. I sent I gift but it wasn’t accepted so I felt a little bit down”

Vincient eyes widened as fear took over his body.

“Black Venom?” He muttered.

“Yeah of course it’s me. I’m glad you’re following up” the voice replied.

The voice was obviously Phished, Vincient knew this isn’t Venom’s real voice.

“My men delivered something to you and then you decided to go against me”

“I’ll find a way to bring you down Venom!” Vincient yelled in anger.

One of the men in the room smirked.

“How about you come out, so we can talk man to man. If you’re here to make a deal with me about Newton then I’m sorry, you won’t get what you want!”

“Then why am I here?”

The door opened and Dagon came in with a chain saw

Fredrick looked back at the entrance. “Where is he?” He muttered.

“Isn’t the lawyer coming?” Camila asked almost as a whisper.

“I called him an hour ago, he said he would be here in ten minutes but how come he haven’t showed up yet?” Fredrick sighed.

Their gaze went towards Newton. He had become lean with just spending days in jail, his lips dry and eyes swollen from crying.

Wilson was also restless.

“Don’t tell me the lawyer won’t show up” Lisa his working partner whispered.

“I’m sensing something happened to him” Wilson said.

“The judge is here” she said and they all pay their respect before sitting back.

Jake was holding his phone, the pictures of Natasha was on the screen.

She should be here since it was her mother case, that gave him more reason to believe that she didn’t leave.

“What really happened Tasha?” He asked no one in particular then raised his head towards the judge who gave a cue.

“Why do I feel like you didn’t leave?” He muttered.

“Yess!!!!.. I won!!” Elsa spranged up dancing funnily. She was wearing one of Raymond’s short and red big shirt looking adorable.

“How were you able to do that?” Raymond asked dropping his game pad. This would be the Fourth time she is beating him. The game have been going on since two hours.

Each rounds takes 30 minutes.

“One more time, I’m sure I’ll beat you this time” Raymond said.

“Nah, I’m tired and hungry” she yawned.

“C’mon I can’t let you win like that, I’m a man”

“Man doesn’t win in all aspect” she poke her tongue.

“Oh yeah? shall we play another game then?” Raymond asked having some crazy thought running through his head.

Raymond stood and held her waist. He swiftly kissed her head.

“Ray” Elsa called after a while.

Elsa watch his expression for a while.

“I talked to Mrs Brown” she said.

Just as she had thought, Raymond’s expression slowly turn cold.

“No” He shook his head knowing what she was about to say.

“Just for once Raymond, you need to meet and hear her out first..”

“No Elsa, no! How could you meet her behind my back?! That’s not cool, I thought we promised not to keep things away from each other?” Raymond asked.

“I was trying to help you Raymond”

“I didn’t ask for it, I’m not going to see her and you shouldn’t have went to meet her in the first place!” He almost yelled.

“She was the one who came to me first. You need to hear her out. She have a point..”

He nose flares in anger.

“A point? A point to leave me?!.. I go to see her every fucking weeks spilling my deepest secrets to her and she couldn’t open her goddamn mouth to tell me fucking the truth?! I thought my real parent died, how do you expect me to feel finding out that they turn out to be my close people?!”

“She was trying to help you and she never abandon you.. she have a reason, you need to hear her out!” She yelled.

“Well fvck her!!” He yelled at her face. He went to his other room then slam the door with a loud thud.
