CHAPTER 96 (FINALS).. 🦋

“the little girl in .. in the picture is… Me” Mira stammered with tears in her eyes.

Sazuki looked at her skeptically like as if she had lost her mind.

“Are you crazy..?” He yelled. But then, he took the picture and raised it up staring between Mira and the little girl in the picture.

Most of all, she had the resemblance of their mom very much while he took after his father.

“It can’t be” he muttered slowly staring at Mira.

Maybe this was why he couldn’t kill her. She was his blood sister.

“But it is… Jake” she called out his real name and his eyes widened. No one knew his name. Not even his gang or the man who trained him.

Mira was 6 years of age when her and her mom were separated from Jake and their dad when Jake was just 2years old. Their parents and Jake were all involved in a accident while mira was at school. But when she was taken to the hospital to see her family, she was told that they could’nt get their dad and Jake out of the car on time and it exploded into ashes.

Mira and her mom thought they had lost them. That they had died and that’s why they didn’t bother themselves about him. But they had mourned their death for so many years .

“Your alive” Mira whispered and immediately hugged Sazuki (Jake) who froze for a while but eventually hugged her back.

He felt at peace when he did. Like he was completed. After so many years of darkness in his life, he finally saw light.

“Dad told me we were all separated because of an accident. He managed to help mom escape since people surrounded us couldn’t. They tried helping him too but he was stuck. I don’t know how he did it but we managed to get us both out and a kind man took us in. Dad went in coma for 3years. He only told me this when I was older” he explained after Mira asked how they were still alive.

” I and mom thought you were dead” Mira said before Pausing.” Where’s dad? ” Mira asked a little excited. Though she couldn’t remember him too well, she had his photo and belongings to keep his memory alive.

“His dead” Jake said folding his fist. ” And that useless Lockhart is responsible for it” he said getting up Making Mira confused.

” Who? ”

” Damien. He killed dad. He killed him. I watched him kill him” he said in anger.

Mira stared at him confused. How was Damien responsible for her dad’s death?

Does Damien even know her father?

“How?”

“Dad trepassed on his grandfather territory. And so he was ordered to be killed. They held us hostage. And on the appointed day, Damien himself killed father. We pleaded. They didn’t listen to us”

” I vowed to get my revenge and I’ll make sure he dies too.. for Making us Fatherless” he said looking at Mira who had tears in her eyes.

” But that man your trying to kill is the man I love. Please don’t kill him” Mira immediately pleaded still crying s.

” So I should just leave him after what happened?” He asked but Mira kept quiet.

” He never knew that his your father or mine. At least let him know. If he is a jerk and doesn’t realize his mistake. Then feel free to do what you wish” Mira said wiping her tears and moved closer to him.

” Let’s just live happily. Remember mom thought your dead. Imagine the smile on her face when she sees you. Let just leave happily please” she begged and held his hand. And he nodded before hugging her.

★★THE NEXT DAY★★

After Mira around, she left sazuki clan
She promised to stop Damien too from taking any decisions against sazuki till they all spoke. But first, she had to speak to her mom.

Soon she arrived him and she paid the cab man with the money sazuki had given her.

She rushed to her apartment and opened to find Anna consoling her mom who was in tears.

“Mom” Mira called out to her and they both turned.

After much scolding and apologies, every thing was back to normal between Anna ,Mira and her mom. Kira had disappeared for a few days but they weren’t worried cause Dylan too was missing so they were probably together.

Anna brought Mira a glass of juice while they spoke.

“I have something to tell you mom” Mira said seriously and her mom faced her fully.

” What is it darling” she asked softly.

And Mira sighed.

“I…I’ve found my brother.” Mira spoke after silence. And her mom froze while Anna looked confused.

“Brother? Your brother?” Anna asked to confirm and Mira nodded.

” I’ve found your son mom” Mira said with a bigger smile.

” My..my son?” Her mom asked and she nodded happily.

” His alive mom. He wants to see you” Mira said and hugged her mom tight while Anna looked confused.

“I don’t understand”
Mira then explained what happened when she was kidnapped, and how she found out that sazuki was her brother.
And also why he wanted Damien dead

“We need to stop damien then?” Anna immediately spoke up.

“What..why?”

“Because damien went to his territory to bring you back .he doesn’t know you have returned and he definitely doesn’t know that sazuki is your brother”
Anna immediately explained and Mira’s eyes widened.

” Your right. We have to stop him” Mira said in fear.

” He’s probably on his way there . I’ll try to reach him though” Anna said .

” We have to go there straight away and stop him” Mira’s mom proposed.

“Your right. Let’s go Anna” she said pulling Anna.

“I’ll come with you two”

Damien eyes were filled with anger and hatred as he stared at the big gate. Behind it was the sazuki territory.

“You have messed with the wrong person. I promise to bring you down” he vowed silently to himself.

” Make sure you k*ll anyone that stands in your way till you get to sazuki their leader. Make sure you kill him the moment you see him” he ordered and everyone obeyed as they stealthily entered the territory.

And the battle begun

Not just Mira but also Anna and her mother’s eyes widened when they saw they surrounding when they finally reached.

“Oh my God. We are too late” Anna whispered.

“No. Don’t say that Anna. Let’s head in. Am sure nothing of a such has happened yet. Don’t be negative” Mira said more to herself than to Anna.

Anna nodded and proceeded to enter.

“Stay here mom” Mira said before leaving her without waiting for a reply.

They got the bl**dy scene. So many dead bodies. Mira managed to avoid looking at them while Anna stood feeling disgusted and puking her tummy out

“Sis.. what are you doing here and what Happened here?” Mira heard a voice and she turned to find Sazuki behind her. He had gone out and just arrived to be face by the unpleasant scene.

“Who did this to my men?” He asked again when he got no reply from Mira.

” I… ” She was about to speak when saw a gun aimed to sazuki from behind him

Everything happened in a blur.

She tried to remove sazuki from the way in attempt to take the bullet but rather someone took it before she could.

“Mom” Mira yelled while sazuki turned to hold her before she fell.

As soon as the gun was fired, another gunshots was heard but this time…. It was fired at Damien who had shot aimed the bullet at sazuki. A man of sazuki was the one who shot Damien

“Damien” Mira screamed when she saw him fall.

She was confused on who to run to first… Her mom or Damien??

EPILOGUE….

★★FEW WEEKS LATER★★

After the funeral service , Mira stayed back staring at her mom’s grave. Damien was buried a week before while her mom was buried today.

She stared at the grave fighting the tears that were threatening to fall.

“It’s okay to cry Mira” she heard a voice as a hand tapped her shoulders. Knowing who it was, she turned around and hugged him tight bursting into tears.

“Why?.. why did she have to leave me so early?” Mira said tears choking her voice

“Shhh. Calm down. Everything happens for the best” Kiel said consoling her. She had also consoled him when he mourned Damien.

“Mom” she cried out.

Sazuki refused to attend the burial
In fact he refused to accept her death. Just when he thought he would get his mother love , death had to snatch her away from him.

“Arrrggghh” he yelled and threw the alcohol on the floor Making it break into pieces.

He had been smoking and drinking heavily since her death. He just wished to die too.

Thank God Damien too was dead cause he would have killed him personally for this not minding Mira but unfortunately he too was gone.

“How could you leave me? How?” Sazuki whispered as he brought out her picture and stared at it.

“I just want to die with you mom. At least I’ll be with both you and dad” he grabbed a knife ready to Stab himself when Mira stopped him.

“Have you lost your mind? You want to leave me too. Just when I found you” she yelled . Tears soon began to poor from his eyes.

Mira immediately hugged him trying to control her tears too

Dylan scrolled through the pictures him and damien took over the years.

“It’s all my fault” he muttered sadly. He had vowed to protect Dylan to his last breath but he wasn’t even there when he needed him the most.

“Stop blaming yourself.. please” Kira said and sat down with him. He immediately hugged her.

” It’s my fault. If only I had not left him alone. He shouldn’t have died. I should have been the one instead not him” he muttered and Kira broke the hug.

” What do you mean by that? You want me to be in tears and mourn you?. You want your child to be fatherless?. You want another man to take your child…?how could you say such a thing? ” Kira yelled and hit him on the chest . He looked at her stunned at her sudden outburst.

“It’s probably the pregnancy hormones” he muttered to himself. Kira was heavily pregnant now and in a few weeks, she would deliver.

“Am sorry babe. I didn’t mean it” he immediately apologized and hugged her

” You better not” she replied not hugging him.

“At least now, my father would allow us to get married with no problems. I love you Dylan” she said .

” I love you too”

★★2 YEARS LATER★★

They both watched as Ezekiel came out with Isabella along with Mira and Kira. While Mira and Kira were discussing, Ezekiel went back inside the hospital. Kira carried her child in her arms while talking till Dylan came out with Ezekiel. They had come for Mira’s antenatal check up. She was 7 months gone and soon she would deliver. They had also come for Kira pregnancy scan. She just took in again for Dylan.

A year after Damien and her mother’s death, she got married to Ezekiel and now they were expecting their first child. Isabella officially has a mother now and she was more than grateful that it was Mira.

Sazuki and Lucas travelled on a little world tour together. They became best of buddies ever since sazuki learnt to accept their mother’s death.

He watched as they all laughed happily before Mira got into the car with Ezekiel and Isabella and Dylan, Kira and their child entered their own car and drove off.

“When are you going to reveal yourself to them?” Kavita asked her boss.

” Not anytime soon. I don’t want to destroy their happiness. Going back to Mira will only make me want destroy her marriage with my brother. They look so happy” damien replied.

He wasn’t really dead.

When Kavita heard that her boss had died, she couldn’t accept it. She had always had feelings for Damien but she hated Mira since Damien was clearly interested in her.

While he was still in the hospital where he was declared dead, Kavita had exchange him with his doppelganger. He didn’t really resembles Damien too much so she had to use a fake mask. He was already dead so he was easily taken off as damien.

Although the doctor said he was dead, she didn’t accept it so she took him abroad and had his heart changed since it was his heart that was shot. She didn’t expect it to work but miraculously it did

He had been in coma ever since and the minute he woke up, he requested to see Mira. Now he saw that she was happy with his brother and was already pregnant for him

“Am trying not to be selfish. Until I can get over my obsession for her before I will return to them. ” He said with finality in his voice and Kavita smiled.

‘And I promise to make you love me back Damien before then. I promise’ Kavita said in her mind.

“Drive” he ordered and she immediately ignited the car and drove towards the airport. They were leaving the country and only God knows when they will return…
