✍️ CHAPTER TITLE ✍️: DAMIEN WINKED HIS CHARMING EYES!

Several abstained days, that she had let them pass by without influencing evil. She allowed peace to consume enough space.

Those days were not easy on her. The passing seconds, minutes, hours, and days she did not get to do evil pained her so much that her bone marrow fell out of the pain too.

In whatsoever ways, the days when she did not bring about evil plans just did not come because she repented or stopped being evil. She only let it pass so a better plan of evil could be sketched out properly.

She had allowed her enemies to breathe free space so she could come up with something that would snatch their peace, for the rest of their lives.

Purposely remained quiet so Damien would think that she had forgotten about the first person to win the fight.

Who was she kidding? Can Damien ever stop looking everywhere for her? He had only remained silent because something is keeping him busy. Damien would never give up on searching for her.

Caleb must have joined Damien’s team to fetch her out… That ladder doesn’t even know that she is his mother. And all she’s doing would even benefit him someday to come.

The ladder thought that Smith has done him a favor by bringing him home and allowing him to live with his family… Caleb never knew that where he resides, was where his family belonged.

The man who brought him home didn’t just offer charity to a wandering child, he brought his son home.

Yes, Caleb is the child that she had with Smith. She needed a way to enter his life and claim as many luxuries as she could.

Crystal thought that giving him a child would give her the perfect opportunity but that didn’t happen, even after getting in bed with him.

Smith loved his family so much and never want anything to ruin the peace for him.

She was pained to nurture the child alone. She could not ask for any help from him because he had asked her to abort the child.

Crystal’s heart back then contained little space for pity, so she could not imagine harming her child, so she raised Caleb all alone.

The plan to make the ladder get to where he belonged made her give the job of taking care of him to a nanny.

The nanny which she later killed after Caleb grew up. She then harmed Caleb on the head, and he forgot about everything concerning the woman who raised him.

Crystal deliberately dropped Caleb off afterward at where Smith would meet him. The plan and everything worked the better for her, and since then, Caleb’s faith took him to where he belonged.

When she found her malicious way into the family finally, her greed for wealth made her not interested in telling Caleb the truth about his relationship with her.

Crystal could not tell Caleb or anyone the truth yet, but she gets proud of herself whenever she read an article about him, through Damien’s influence.

She wasn’t satisfied yet. She doesn’t want her offspring to be a slave under Damien, she wants to collect all that belongs to the Stewart family and then give it to Caleb.

The journey and stages to make that happen have been planned and she would start executing it, right away, without any remorse.

“I don’t want to get there during daylight, get another one fixed for me,” she yelled coldly at the guard while disapproving.

A huge drag of smoke from the cigarette, then she polluted the air by puffing it out of her nostril and the terrace of her blackish-looking lips, which sitted well, against the wall of her mouth.

The smoke coming out of her space doesn’t only represent fear, but it likewise represented a very dark aura. An aura that is different from her physical look. An aura that could insight fear.

Even at this adult age of hers, she looks so much like a beautiful maiden. Each time her appearance gets revealed to where brightness stays, the space of such a place would be glad to bestow such beauty.

Crystal is a devil on the inside but her appearance screams an angel to the core. Her beautiful appearance is incomparable. Everything about Crystal’s physical appearance is beautiful.

“Sorry, master. The airline officer declined the request for the night ticket. I tried to get it done,” The guard reported in a respectful tone.

He didn’t dare raise his head to look her in the eyes, because the darkest aura that would come with the glance of her, could blind his sight.

“Okay. You leave, and tell Mark to prepare the luggage. I’m going to travel with that.” she instructed effortlessly. The moment the man scurried out of the room, Crystal turned around to face the door, where he had departed from.

Those airline officers can’t ruin her plan. She would not give peace another chance to win her. This should be done and finished once and for all.

If not because her face is so beautiful, she would have undergone cosmetic surgery that would display another appearance of her and hide her perfectly well from Damien.

That would have easily helped her to finally get the wealth she had taken years to chase after.

It’s not like she isn’t leaving abundantly, or blessed life over here, where she has hidden for many years.

Crystal just doesn’t want to go back on her word of making everything Damien owns belong to her and then, she would give it to her son.

She was ready to do everything to make that happen. Enough of her sending errand toys to get things done on her behalf. The last toy she sent errand almost revealed the truth about her.

Crystal had punished that foolish Brown by killing his last child, blinding his two eyes with her long fingers.

Her men made him a handicap by beating him to a stupor, then she ordered them to send him and his wife to a far place.

She’s done relying on toys for everything. Now she would do everything by herself and the doing would start by first laying her hand on Annabel.

If Annabel can be gotten, bringing Damien to his downfall would be very easy to achieve. Then she would reveal her identity to Caleb.

A few minutes after he entered the bathroom, Damien came out with a towel wrapped around his waist.

Caleb had kept himself busy with his phone while imagining the situation that the princess could be in today, as he waited for Damien to finish dressing up.

Damien while dressing up didn’t fantasize so much about what to wear. He was only going out because Caleb wanted him to. So, no need for an extra stunning dress-up.

After a while of taking his time, Damien rounded up by just picking a black set of up-and-down wear, which contained a hoodie and matching trousers.

He made everything very simple for himself because the last thing he wanted was any direct attention to him, from anyone. Also, he was not in any good mood, so there’s no need to exaggerate anything.

He picked up his phone, after combing his hair. A glance at himself in the mirror, to confirm if there’s any slight change on his face, then they both set to leave downstairs, where the car has been parked.

Just as they came out of Damien’s room, Vera also showed up while coming out of her room, all up in her disguise wears already, and only came out because she wanted to get something from the kitchen.

“Good morning, Master Damien; Master Caleb,” she immediately greeted while standing a few steps away from them.

It was difficult for her to keep straight eye contact with Damien after turning him down last night.

Damien must have been seeing her as the one who made his sister cry so much. Gosh! Why does she have to go through this!?

Caleb looked intently at Vera, who kept her eyes on the ground, then he nodded his head in return to her greetings. Damien on the other hand was just staring at the butler’s red eyes. Did he cry too?

Damien was wondering and would love to ask, but before he could say anything, Vera said, “I want to get a cup of water for Annabel,” she knew they must have been wondering where she was going, and that’s why they were both staring at her.

“Why? Is she still crying?” Damien was the one who asked.

“No, I just want to get it for her,” Vera replied calmly. She cleared her throat a bit because it was difficult speaking like a man. Maybe because she cried a lot already.

“Damien, let’s go and check on her before leaving,” Caleb mentioned and went into Vera’s room, without waiting for Damien to speak.

Damien left where he was standing to go after Caleb, after examining the butler’s eyes again. Vera on the other hand hummed after he left, then she headed to the kitchen.

She had thought that they would both scold her for allowing Annabel to spend the night with her.

“Tears that you would not shed for me if I am traveling,” Caleb felt cheated while he wiped Annabel’s pale eyes, where she sat down quietly, on the bed.

“I don’t know how you managed to get attached to Disguise. You even cried because he is leaving,” Damien also started speaking.

“I’m your brother but you never cried because I’m not home before,” Damien also faked being pained by folding his arms around his chest.

Annabel chuckled, as Caleb patted her hair. Damien scrunched his face together while faking his anger, which made her laugh so hard.

“I didn’t cry, because I knew that you will both come back. Disguise is not coming back,” Annabel replied painfully.

The both of them could notice the unpleasant expression that was almost appearing on her face after saying.

“Pooh! That’s cheating,” Damien joked and then started laughing, including Caleb, before Annabel also laughed. They both don’t want her to be sad.

“Are you both going to work? It’s weekend, you both should rest and let’s spend time together,” Annabel questioned, as she relished the tingling feeling that comes from Caleb’s hand, who was rubbing her hair.

“Caleb has a girlfriend and he’s going to see her. I’m following him there just to stare into space,” Damien ranted in excess.

Annabel couldn’t hide the surprise of hearing Damien speak about Caleb having a girlfriend freely without closing his eyes in irritation. Damien made the statement with a carefree tone. Wow! Is he changing as he promised!?

“Caleb!? Why didn’t you ask me to come along? I also want to meet your girlfriend,” Annabel faced Caleb with a sad face.

“You wouldn’t want to. Don’t you want to spend some time with Disguise?” Caleb rolled his eyes at Damien as he eyed Damien dangerously.

“Also, it’s not a special outing,” Caleb added.

“Whatever it is. I also want to go with the two of you. Can I come along, please?” Annabel insinuated.

“Annabel… It’s not a…” Caleb wanted to decline, but Damien reasoned the matter in a way that will benefit him, so he quickly said, “Yes baby, you can always come with us,”

“Damien!” Caleb screamed and Damien raised his hands in the air like he never said anything wrong, then he winked these charming eyes of his.

Annabel was laughing harder as she dragged her body to leave the bed, and in the next second, Vera entered the room with a tray in her hand.

“One more request Bros,” Annabel exclaimed immediately her eyes laid on Vera.

Vera who doesn’t know what they were discussing before, walked straight up to Annabel and gave the water to her while staring into space.

“What is it now?” Caleb timidly asked. He wasn’t satisfied with Damien’s decision to allow Annabel to come with them.

His visitation isn’t to make merriment. He only wanted to check on her well-being. Why bring so many people with him?

He shouldn’t have asked Damien to come along with him in the first instance. It was all his fault.

“Please can Disguise also come with us? I want to spend every moment with him before he leaves. We can all go out together, right?”

Annabel asked and she set up curiosity in Vera’s mind. Where are they all going? Why is Annabel involving her?

Caleb was devastated. He couldn’t even hide his displeasure anymore. Looking at Annabel’s smiling face already made him helpless.

Seeing Damien nodding his head while gesturing for him to say ‘yes’ made his reasoning weak enough to decide for him.

Since he was left with no choice of escape, Caleb agreed, “Yes, he can also come with us.”
