โœ๏ธ CHAPTER TITLE โœ๏ธ: Repercussionโ€ฆ. Part 1.

In the refined master bedroom, Damien was seen in the room patrolling. He kept walking up and down the room while waiting to receive a piece of good news from John.

While doing that, he heard the sound of the gate being opened and he peeped through the balcony in his room to check if they were receiving a visitor, as he thought Caleb must have left the mansion earlier.

Damien needs to be alert and take note of everyone who comes in here. Annabel had gone downstairs to check on the bird, and he didn’t want her stepping out of the house alone like she did the other day.

Looking down the building his eyes caught Caleb who was walking ahead while Annabel ran towards him. Damien’s brows furrowed as Annabel spoke with Caleb randomly and he just gave her a funny look before entering the car. Annabel looked up at the stairs, towards her room, but she couldn’t see if he was watching from there.

Blinking away from there, Annabel got into the car also and they started driving out of the mansion. Where are they going to? Damien wondered and immediately went to get his phone from the bed. Damien strolled through his contact without being too anxious. When he found Caleb’s contact he quickly gave him a call. “Why are you going out with her?” Came the question from him to Caleb.

“It’s a secret, but I’m going to tell you everything when I’m back. Don’t worry, she will be safe with me,” Caleb answered quickly and hung up before Damien could reply with another word.

Just as Damien himself would give anything to protect Annabel, he knew Caleb could also do more. Caleb loves Annabel so much and he never allowed any harm to get close was her.

Damien had no idea of where he’s heading to with her, but if he promised to protect Annabel, Damien believed just that because Caleb would stick with it.

Before dropping the phone Damien called John again but he didn’t respond. In anger, Damien threw the phone on the bed before going out of the room.

On getting out of his room he saw one of his workers smuggling around the corridor and the moment Damien came out of his room, Smart became alert. His expression which Damien noticed hints that something is not right here.

“You wanted what here?” Damien asked Smart who bowed his head to greet him. His eyes scanned around the man who had a kitchen robe tied around his body and he immediately knew that he is the chef.

“I came to invite Ms Annabel, for breakfast,” he simply answered. Smart tried his possible best not to allow his fear show on his face because, unlike Scott who spared him the other time, Damien would not spare him if he senses any danger or mistake from him.

“She hasn’t eaten?” Damien scoffed. He was not happy to hear that Annabel went out without having any food to eat. Does that latter wants to develop a stomach ulcer? Where Caleb invited her to must have been so important for her to leave the bird and food behind just to go with Caleb.

“I was thinking she was still asleep, so I wanted to ask if to bring the food to her room,” Smart replied like he really meant what he said. Damien’s eyes didn’t fail to narrow at him cautiously. “Have you asked her like that before?” He asked, instead of wondering in his mind.

“No, master Damien. The butler always does that before me when he was here.” Came another answer that gave Damien concern. His cold eyes stared intently at him, especially at his arms that were folded behind him.

“Maybe Scott didn’t tell when you were employed. Don’t cross the bridge between the stairs and this part of the room if you don’t want to get sacked. Stay where you’re employed and don’t ever show fake affection to my sister,” Damien instructed coldly. Ever since he heard that a spy might currently be working with him, he had sworn to keep his eyes on all the workers.

“But master Dam-” he wanted to protest. Not happy that his perfect plan would get ruined again. Definitely, his days to death is closer than expected, because Crystal would kill him.

“Get your wandering self out of my presence,” Damien commanded in a harsh tone without giving him a look. He looked towards the door opposite his while he watched Smart go away from there after bowing at him.

Before his figure could disappear down the stairs Damien turned around, glaring at the man while allowing one or two words to make up itself on his head.

Damien was heading somewhere before he ran into the chef and once he could not view the chef’s body anymore, Damien walked a few steps after which he stepped into the butler’s room.

“Back here after a long time,” he muttered after closing the door behind. First, he scanned the room before he walked closer to the space in it.

“Get this delivered to them in an hour. I want them to start working on it immediately,” he registered a few words in the file before he passed it to the man standing in his presence.

The man received the file from him, gave a sharp nod, and wanted to walk away since he was done with what he came there for.

“Tell Chris to cancel all the shoots Damien will be having for now, and no one should accept any contract until further notice from Damien himself,” Caleb stated before the man could leave.

Caleb didn’t miss the surprised expression on his face but as he would not dare to question his order, he simply nodded his head before walking away with whatever he wanted to say buried in him.

“Little lizard,” Caleb called out to Annabel who found a suitable space for herself on the couch and had comfortably slept off there. Severally she had disturbed Caleb about when they would be leaving to see Vera. Caleb was forced to threaten her before Annabel finally stopped disturbing him.

Noticing the silence from her side, Caleb spared her a glance and that was when he realized that she already slept. It was a good advantage to him, now he could work before Andromeda would give him the call that would tell if it was time for them to leave.

Upon his calling, Annabel refused to answer and he knew instantly that she must have slept deep. When Caleb rounded up with what he was doing, he walked around the table to where Annabel was sleeping.

“Annabel,” this time he called her by her name but still she wasn’t awake yet. Maybe she was just tired of sitting and she needed to sleep for a while. Caleb made the excuse and didn’t waste time before picking her up from the couch in his arms.

He watched as Annabel moved her body in alert before she continued sleeping. In the position, Caleb walked out of the office with her sleeping comfortably like a baby in his arms. Annabel is a baby actually, Annabel is his baby sister.

All through the drive from the office to the king’s mansion Annabel slept comfortably in the car. With Andromeda who was waiting for them outside the building, they didn’t find it difficult to grace the mansion with their presence.

“My princess,” Caleb said freely with a quick now as he got down from the car. Andromeda smiled briefly before asking, “Where’s your sister?” Actually, since the first day she met with Annabel, she had been lounging to meet with her again. Annabel looks sweet if she was to say.

“Sleeping, but don’t worry, she’ll wake up soon,” Caleb assured. His eyes watched Andromeda’s face closely and he was curious to check if there would be any difference if Vera came to stand beside her. They really do look alike.

“So, what are we doing next?” Andromeda who went to peep through the window asked Caleb.

“We’re meeting with Vera,” came Caleb’s simple reply and she nodded her head in agreement.

Caleb went back to the car in other to wake Annabel up, but to his surprise, she had woken up and was only rubbing her eyes with the back of her palm like a child.

“Caleb?” She called out to him, and he stood by the car then watched her. Once Caleb was about to reply, Andromeda who he thought had gone inside to get Vera showed her face in Annabel’s presence and the latter lost all the sleepiness in her body instantly.

“Vera!” Annabel exclaimed in surprise and total excitement.

*Witches lust 4 episode 121

The complicated case which took place at one of the popular hotel in the city tonight got an unexpected turnaround. It all began withh the death of one of their guest who was a man, and a woman who claimed the man had come to take advantage of her, but in return killed him out self-defense.

There was a saying that one is supposed to be patient and be watchful of what they have in mind to do, but Crystal failed miserably in that aspect. Flashback to when she was back at the hotel and they were arguing about the death that took place.

Crystal was already getting the pity she wanted, until one of his friends came to join the crime scene. The story had a switch, and the idiot added to Crystal’s problem by confessing that Samuel, the man who had visited her before he met with his death isn’t a rapist.

It all started from there and everyone present failed to listen to her fictional stories against him. One of the hotel attendants suddenly came with a laptop, the one which had the CCTV footage in it.

“Shit!” Crystal cursed silently because she never thought about that earlier. The footage showed Samuel walking in the corridor until he stood in the presence of her room after he checked the room number out for probably confirmation.

The people watching could only see but they could not hear anything. Seconds after he had been standing Crystal appeared in a nightgown that had been torn presently and she leaned her back against the door while facing the man.

The reaction from her showed that the man was flirting while she was only keeping a frown on her face and staring around the empty passage as the footage showed. They both were there for some minutes before she opened the door willingly for him, and the man entered together with her.

The attendant with the laptop fast-forwarded the video to where Crystal came out with a torn dress and screamed in the passage alone, with tears dropping down her eyes as they could see.

Once they were done watching and everyone turned to face her, Crystal’s heart dropped into her stomach and she felt helpless and so down in to trouble.

“You said that you didn’t open the door and he entered forcefully,” one of the security questioned, and before she could speak, they’d already started dragging her down the stairs.

Fast forward to now that she has been taken to the police station and a case of murder has been charged against her. Crystal stood behind the bar alone, with her eyes poking out of the cell room while she kept her presence unknown to other people locked in the cell with her.

“Get me out of this fur. king place!” She yelled once again out of frustration. Her firm hands on the cell door shook it terribly until the noise started disturbing, but even with that, no one came to answer her.

Now she’s stuck here in a caged room where she can’t do anything or find out what’s going on outside.

All she could hope for presently was the ability to come up with a lie that would set her free from here. She can’t disclose her identity and she prayed that the incident doesn’t get into the news where Damien would get access to it or find out about her.
