His Majesty

His Majesty episode 12 – finale

His Majesty
Chapter twelve
Sky
I stared into space deep in thoughts, everything was upsidedown. The demon birds didn’t attack one by one, they attack like an army. My army and that of the students of Alphedia Knights were holding off fine but I wasn’t, I couldn’t feel her existence through the necklace anymore, she was dead. The moment I felt it, my breath left me and that was how I remained frozen on my s₱0t, pain ripping my spirit into two.
‘Look out sire!’ Bart shouted and pushed me out of the way before the black beam reached me. ‘Sire, are you alright?’ He asked anxiously. I sat up and looked around the field, nothing made sense, not even the fact that everyone was fighting for their lives.
‘I’m fine, go,’ I commanded lowly.
‘Are you…’
‘I’m fine, go.’ He stood up and joined the others, I didn’t move, just sat there staring at my hands. A droplet fell on my left hand and then my right, where is it coming from? My cheeks felt w-t, I touched it and chuckled, tears. I stood up, I’ve had about enough of everything. I raised my two hands and placed the world in a vertigo simulation, high frequent echoes vibrating everywhere. They all gro-ned in pain, including the Alphedians.
‘Skylar, what are you doing!’ White barked in my head.
‘Do what you can do so I’ll do what I can,’ I said huffily. The Alphedians stopped gro-ning in pain, I increased the frequent wave, their pain increasing. All the birds exploded, I dropped my hands completely drained. ‘Now, he’ll be here in ten minutes.’ I said chucklingly, I could feel his strength.
‘Skylar, move!!!’ White yelled in my head, I turned around too late. A whirling spiral of black fire was heading straight to my chest, I used my hands as a shield but the fire didn’t hit me. A sky blue and white shield formed around me, the shield redirected the fire back to it owner who dodged skilfully. White must have done that.
‘Thanks White…’
‘It wasn’t me….’ The large eagle screeched and flew up in a circle before charging towards me again. Nyx ran out of nowhere and stood in front of me, right before the stupid thing fired again. She blocked it with her hands.
‘Nyx!’
‘Miss me,’ she purred.
‘But I couldn’t feel your…’
‘I lost the necklace, sorry I lost it but things were really intense in there….hold on….’ Her body charged with electricity. ‘I’ve faced worse birdbrain, go to hell!!!’ She shouted, lightning struck the bird and made it roast meat. She sighed as her electricity died down, she flipped her hair sassily and turned around. ‘Now where were we?’ I pulled her into a hug.
‘Thank you, I really…’
‘Can we not do this in front of your entire army?’ She whispered. ‘Plus, we don’t have t….’ I pulled away from her and squinted.
‘Where’s the….’
‘He couldn’t come….’
‘What! So what’s the use of…’
‘Can we stop interjecting into each other’s sentence,’ she said humorously. ‘Listen, he couldn’t come but he gave me the answer which you must figure out. What lies in the soul of Alphedia is all you need to conquer and send the beast back to where it belongs.’
‘So he’s saying White is the key to stopping it?’ I asked myself.
‘Is White the soul?’ I nodded. ‘He also said to give you my sceptre which he enchanted….ap
pear!’ A staff grew in her hands, Queen Luna’s staff with her sister’s orb and mother’s precious gems surrounding it and some writings. ‘He said you’ll know what to do with it,’ I looked at the sceptre thoughtfully before it dawned on me.
‘Thank you Nyx, you’ve done the difficult part for me, don’t touch me no matter what.’
‘Why?’ She asked puzzledly.
‘Just trust me…’
Nyx
‘Just trust me,’ he smiled. ‘Everyone, move behind me!!!!’ He shouted, they all moved, everyone obviously curious to what might happen next. I moved back too, very curious as well. ‘White, please reveal yourself.’
Huh?
A bright light shone from ahead, I covered my eyes from how bright it was. I heard his deep growl, I opened my eyes, no other was able to because his light was too bright.
‘I’m going to remove my spirit and enter you…’
‘You know you can’t.’
‘We are the same being in two bodies, one the form of man and the other the form of a beast. We need to become one again in other to stop it.’
‘You do realise that if you spend too long in me, you might never return the same.’
‘I know.’
‘And that my strength and yours put together won’t quite cut out?’
‘That’s what this baby is for,’ Sky smiled playing with the sceptre. ‘Now hold still and don’t fight it,’ he pointed the sceptre at White. I closed my eyes because of the new light that gushed from it, everywhere was too bright. White roared, obviously from pain, Sky grunted too. It’s not easy to use the sceptre, it drains your strength as you use it. The sceptre got use to me because I’ve been with it all my life but I wouldn’t say so for Sky. The light stopped, I opened my eyes, I rubbed them to get the blurs out. When I opened my eyes, Sky was no longer there but White was.
His entire body was silver and looked like metal, silver metal. He was taller with deep red eyes and four blade edge feather wings. His claws were red too, poisonous from the looks of it. His horns were larger, two protruding out of his head like a bulls and two from his cheekbones.
‘Sky?’ He looked at me, his eyes holding no emotions.
‘Where’s Gold?’ White asked.
‘In exchange for the solution, she had to stay back and keep him company…’
‘What an honor,’ he smiled. What’s with them and interrupting me. A very mighty roar blared from the east mountains. ‘I can’t let him reach here,’ he took off, his sharp blade wings cutting through the wind.
‘What was that?’ Bart counted in shock.
‘Was that our King?’ Another warrior asked. I nodded. ‘What did you do to him!’
‘Oh shut up,’ Bart hissed. ‘What did you do to help.’ I smiled and looked at the sky.
‘Bring all the injured, I’ll heal them.’ They quickly ran around carrying their injured to me, we could hear roars and grunt from far away but saw nothing. I healed them one by one since I didn’t have enough energy to heal them all at once.
‘Look!’ Someone shouted. We looked up, White flying high into the clouds and a gruesome looking seven headed dragon flying after him. The dragon was blacker than a dog’s gut, each head with five purple horns and large teeth. He was three times White’s size. My heart beat against my chest furiously, was he going to die?
One of the head got a hold on White’s hind with it massive teeth, we gasped. White struggled to set himself free but the beast wh¡pped it away. He hit the ground, the impact shaking it. They were still far away but I could see better than them. The beast let itself fall, he crushed White. Dust covered everywhere, we coughed violently, I couldn’t breathe, I was terrified.
‘I can’t just stand here…’ I trailed off as White dashed into the sky again, he turned his body around and let out a powerful silver spectrum from his eyes and mouth. All seven head repeated the same action and countered his blast. I ran to my sceptre which was on the ground, I picked it up, it still had enough energy left, one I needed to give to White or they would both die. I targeted White, one eye closed so I won’t miss my shot. ‘Come on sceptre, please transfer your powers to him.’ Light burst from my sceptre, the force pushing me back like a bullet fired from a gun. Bart caught me before I fell and helped me keep my hands in place by supporting them. The light hit White, he roared, his own spectrum increasing and overtaking the seven headed dragon. I grunt as I fired every single thing I’d got, it was draining my life along but I didn’t care, Sky can easily vivificate it.
The sceptre popped, all it powers were gone. I watched dazedly, White grew four more heads and each fired too. The blasts finally hit the dragon, six of his head exploded leaving just one. Five headed White fired at his wings, burning the two large flaps to ash. The beast fell on the ground, that gave him more time to fired right into it heart. The f-cking thing won’t die, he was getting up again.
‘Stupid thing,’ I mo-ned and forced my body to stand. I teleported closer to them, he was much more larger from up close. ‘Why won’t you just die!!!!!’ I counted at the top of my voice.
‘Nyx, don’t!’ Sky yelled telepathically. I didn’t listen, I charged up all my electricity and transferred it into his spectrum blast, the electric blasting the idiot hærd. ‘Nyx!!! Stop it! You’ve given too much!!!’
‘I’m not stopping until I help you!!!’ I yelled. ‘Storm of Alphedia!!!!’ I shouted. I raised my hands to the sky and dragged all the lightning in Alphedia, I could feel my inner system collapsing. I scre-med and directed the lightning to the dragon, the biggest lightning in history, strong enough to destroy an entire planet. The blast wh¡pped me away, I crashed into a mountain three miles away from everything.
I blacked out.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
I mo-ned in pain and tossed on the bed, I was alive, I know. I sat up and arched my back before opening my eyes, what’s up? I was in Skylar’s normal room. I removed the sheet and walked to the window, I opened the curtain and hissed as the sunlight hit my eyes.
‘Nyx,’ I turned around, I saw what I didn’t expect. Skylar, his body was pale silver and his blue iris like a lion’s. His nails were claws and he had silver and white feather wings on his back. Like an Angel’s. ‘You’re awake!’ He hugged me tight. I was stunned. He pulled back and grinned. ‘How are you feeling?’ He asked with a smile, he had fangs.
‘What happened to you?’ I asked shakily touching his cheeks. He took my right fingers daintily and chuckled. ‘You stayed too long in him?’ He nodded.
‘Am I ugly now?’ He asked with a pained expression on his face.
‘No, just different,’ I smiled and removed his hair from his beautiful blue eyes. ‘You still got the looks. He sighed with relief. ‘What have I missed?’
‘Nothing much, thanks to you I was able to rip his skin open and kill it new form. The spirit form returned to where it belongs, White isn’t here though, he disappeared again. Your dad’s fine, the curse have been lifted and everyone in peace. That’s what’s up.’ I giggled.
‘Years?’
‘Three,’ I mouthed a wow.
‘So I’m 22 now,’ I said smirkingly ‘Cool. What do your people think about your new look?’ He shrugged.
‘Do they have a choice?’ He asked with a lopsided smirk. I smiled and wrapped my hands around his neck.
‘Nope,’ I used my left index finger to poke his fang. ‘Poisonous?’
‘All times,’ he murmured. ‘Maybe you can heal me later when you’ve fully recovered?’ He asked pleadingly.
‘We’ll see,’ I smiled. ‘But if we can’t, I’m still going to k-ss you, this won’t be an obstacle to my k-ss freedom.’
‘You might die…’
‘I have enough lives to spare,’ I joked. He chuckled and hugged me again. ‘Getting cheesy,’
‘Thank you Nyx, for coming into my life.’
‘I know, I’m awesome.’ I imagined him rolling his eyes, I pulled away from him and ran to the bed. I patted the space beside me.
‘Why?’
‘I wanna tell you about my adventure in that realm….’ He disappeared. Idiot.
I fell on the bed and smirked. I still have all my life to bug him about it, the only thing that can stop me is if I die and that’s not happening anytime soon.
His  Royal Majesty is so doomed.

The End.
I’m done!
