Henry eyes suddenly flew opened and he quickly spranged up from the bed.

He almost screamed as his room was in darkness.

He got down from the bed and went to switch on the lights.

He heaved a big sigh as he realized he was dreaming.

He went back to the bed and sat down holding his face in his palms.

His beating heart started coming down slowly.

“Gosh!! what kind of bad dream is that?” He muttered touching his chest which was now relaxing.

His mind went to his parents and he quickly stood up and went to their room.

He opened the door and walked in, he saw them sleeping peacefully cuddling each other.

He smiled and kissed their foreheads before going back to his room.

He walked into the bathroom and took a quick shower before climbing his bed again.

“I pray for such not to come to pass, it was so scary, even the people behind were wearing masks” He said and went back to sleep.

NEXT MORNING**

Henry descended the stairs already dressed up for school, he has a slight moody face.

He saw Thomas in the dinning already eating breakfast.

He went there and took out a chair sitting down.

” Big man” Thomas said.

” Good morning dad” Henry replied.

” Are you okay?” Thomas asked noticing the unliveness in his voice.

” I’m fine dad, where is mum?” Henry asked.

” She step out to get something, if there’s anything bothering you just tell me okay” Thomas said and Henry nodded.

Thomas left shortly after finishing up his breakfast.

Henry kept thinking about the dream, somehow he has never been worried about a dream like this but this particular one got him worried all night, the events were looking real, his greatest fear is loosing his parents.

He finished his breakfast and went to his car, he entered and drove out.

SUMMER’S ROOM**

Summer yawned as she woke up, she stretched out her body with a slight yawn.

She went clubbing last night and got drunk, Hailey was the one that brought her back home.

Her eyes fell on a maid who has her head down.

“Good morning miss” The maid greeted respectfully, bending her knees.

Summer ignored her greetings and got down from the bed, she slipped into her slip-on and went into the bathroom.

“Before I get back here leave my room” Summer said.

The maid quickly rushed out.

She entered the bathtub and memories of how Henry was smirking mockingly flashed through her head.

“That jerk, he won’t score higher than me next time, I didn’t see it coming” She said and started washing her body.

Summer stepped out of the bathroom and saw the make up artists already waiting for her in the room.

They greeted her but she snubbed them and walked to the chair and sat down facing the mirror.

No one need to tell the make up artists what they should do next.

They began working on her pretty face.

BRANDON’S PLACE**

“Angel what is it?” Agatha (her mum) asked.

Angel kept crying without telling her what was wrong with her.

“Baby please talk to me” Agatha said trying to consoled her but rather it was worse as Angel increased her cries.

The door opened and Brandon entered. He stopped on his track as he saw Angel in tears.

“Angel” He called and quickly went to her.

Agatha sighed out and stood.

“Thank God you are here, I don’t know what is wrong with her maybe she can open up to you” Agatha said.

Brandon carried Angel in his arms and she looked at him with a cute pout.

“What is it Angel?” Brandon asked.

“My class mates are always boosting of their big brothers taking them to school but me the case is different, I want you to start taking me to school” Angel replied.

Agatha and Brandon bursted into an uncontrollable laughter.

“Is that the only reason you were crying?” Brandon asked and Angel nodded.

“Do you know you’re twelve years, you are a young adult, stop behaving like a little baby”.

“But I’m still your baby right?” Angel said.

“Yes you’re still my baby, okay from now on I will be taking you to school, are you happy now?” Brandon asked.

“Yes, I love you brother” Angel said and pecked him.

“Bye mum” Angel waved as Brandon started going out with her.

Agatha smiled before going inside.

The students kept murmuring among themselves as they watched as Dorathy beat up some senior male students.

Yeah she is a new student who has just started school today, the senior male students tried to bully her as a custom but she isn’t the weak type.

Hilliary and Henry got to school the same time.

Hilliary got out his of car with a big smile.

“Twin bro” He said rushing to Henry.

They hugged before looking at the direction the students gathered.

“What is happening there?” Henry asked.

“I don’t know let’s go and find out” Hilliary said and they were about going there when Lex and Blake drove in.

They got down and walked to them.

“Buddy” Hilliary said jamming knuckles with Blake.

“Bro” Henry said.

“Holy sinners”.

“Wait what is going on?” Lex asked.

“We were about going there to find out, let’s find out guys” Henry replied and they went there.

Dorathy punched the two guys, kicking them on their d*cks.

They screamed painfully going down on their knees.

“Next time don’t try to mess up with me, I’m Dorathy Smith, queen of fights, do you know where I come from? I come from the ghetto” Dorathy said and slapped their faces before kicking them down.

👥 Wow!!

The students started clapping and hailing her.

Dorathy turned and her eyes fell on the four handsome guys staring at her.

Never in her life has she seen such handsome guys.

“Hello pretty” Hilliary said in his flirtatious voice.

Dorathy could sworn that her heart skip a beat, she didn’t know when she smiled.

“That was great” Henry said.

“You four are seniors right?” Dorathy asked.

“Yes” They replied.

Dorathy smiled and walked away.

Hilliary started staring at her behind as it shook perfectly.

“I’m going to faint, my heart” Hilliary said and fell on Lex holding his chest like he is in pains.

“What is it?” Lex asked.

“Look at that ass, my heart” Hilliary replied pointing at Dorathy.

The guys glanced at each other.

Lex released his hold on Hilliary and he fell to the ground.

“Bastard” They said and began walking away.

“Guys!!” Hilliary pouted and stood up running after them.

JUNIOR BLOCK**

Immediately Dorathy stepped in the class the students started chanting her name, it was mostly coming from those who were once victims of the senior students bullying.

“We love you” A girl shouted.

“I love your vibe”.

“What is your name?”.

“My name is Dorathy Smith” Dorathy replied.

“Sit with me” A tiny structure girl said.

Dorathy smiled and went to sit with her.

“I’m Nina Simone” Nina said.

“Friends?”.

“Yes” Dorathy replied.

Nina smiled and hugged her.

Suddenly murmurs raised as Summer enters the junior class with Hailey.

“What are the senior students doing here?”.

“The governor’s daughter” Dorathy muttered.

Summer walked to her seat and stood before her.

” The new student who beat up the senior students” Summer said.

” Such nerves” Hailey said and grabbed her hair.

” Let go of my hair” Dorathy started struggling with her but a slapped from Summer made her stop.

Summer slapped her again.

” You lowlife, I guess you are here through scholarship, look at her appearance, you must be from the ghetto or slums, I can get you expelled if I want dirty thing” Summer said and grabbed her hair pulling it.

” Ahhhhhhh” Dorathy screamed as her eyes turned teary.

Not like she couldn’t fight back but doing that would jeopardize her schooling.

She only has her poor grandma and schooling here has been her dream.

Summer is the governor daughter and she can do what she threatened to do.

Dorathy kept enduring the pains.

Hailey opened a bottle of water and emptied it all on her.

Summer kicked her and she fell to the floor.

Summer then left the class with Hailey.

Nina quickly rushed to her but Dorathy stood up and ran out of the class in tears.

AN EMPTY CLASS**

Dorathy tears could heard as she cries her heart out, she was bullied and the worst part was she couldn’t anything.

Hilliary who was passing there heard her cries and entered the class.

He saw her burying her head in her knees, he went closer to her and touched her.

Dorathy looked up.

“You?” Hilliary said surprisingly.

“What happened to you, why are you crying?” He asked.

“Lemme” She hiccuped.

“I can’t leave you, tell me why is your hair and uniform wet?” He asked.

” Why are you caring for me?”.

” I don’t even know okay but you need to change, stand up” Hilliary said and helped her up.

” Thank you” Dorathy said.

” Let’s go you need to change up” Hilliary said and went out of the class with her.

CASSIE’S OFFICE**

“Why the smile?” Brittany asked Cassie who is styling her hair.

“I am meeting up with him” Cassie replied.

“The online artist?” Brittany asked and Cassie turned facing her.

“Yeah, I chatted him up yesterday” Cassie said.

“Is that why you are smiling, if there something I’m not aware of what?” Brittany asked eyeing her.

“Something like what, there’s nothing okay” Cassie said, laughing.

” Okay good luck” Brittany said and left.

Cassie applied a light lipstick before taking her bag and leaving.

Dorathy smiled as she changed into another uniform, she walked out of the locker room and faced Hilliary who has been waiting for her.

“I’m done senior” She announced.

Hilliary whose back was on her turn.

“Oh! you’re looking more cuter” He said and she blushed.

“I thought all the seniors were bullies” She said.

“I don’t like bullies..”

The bell suddenly rang.

“What is that?” She asked.

” I don’t know let’s check” He replied and they left.

All the students started moving into the general hall as the bell rang, it’s an announcement bell.

“Where is Hilliary?” Blake asked searching for Hilliary with his eyes.

“Probably flirting with a girl right now ” Henry replied.

” That twin of yours is a baddie ” Lex said.

” I thought I was crazy but I was wrong, Hilliary is just the definition of craziness, you won’t believe it that he pecked Mrs Barrett” Henry said.

Lex and Blake eyes went wide open.

” What the f*ck!!”.

” Hi guys” Hilliary called running to them.

” Here comes the sinner” Blake said.

” Were you guys gossiping about me?” Hilliary asked.

” Gossip?, werey ” Henry said.

“Your nyash” Hilliary said.

“What are you guys saying?” Blake asked confusingly.

Hilliary and Henry bursted into laughter, they entered the hall immediately.

INSIDE THE GENERAL HALL**

Mrs Barrett stood on the podium holding a microphone in her hand.

“Good morning wonderful students of Lake high school” Mrs Barrett said.

The students replied with a loud jamming of hands.

“I want to announce to you all that there’s going to be a quiz competition between Lake high school and Diamond school, we are going to select the best students who will pass the exams that will be set, only those who are able to get the pass mark will be allow, so I want you all to study hard, you are dismiss” Mrs Barrett said and left the podium.

” A quiz competition, interesting” Summer said leaving with her friends.

Her eyes met with Dorathy and Dorathy quickly looked away.

“I will be there” Hilliary said.

“I know you are happy because of the girls there” Lex said.

“Pray you pass” Henry said.

“I will shock you all” Hilliary smirked.

“It’s lunch already” Blake said.

They left the general hall.

LUNCH**

The hottest guys entered the cafeteria together and the girls started talking about them.

“Can’t they get tired of talking about us?” Henry said.

” We are too hot, it’s not their faults” Lex said as they sat down.

Soon they were served.

” Hilliary why are you silent?” Henry asked.

” I think I’m in love” Hilliary replied.

The guys looked at him.

” In love with who?”.

” The new girl” Hilliary replied.

Henry, Lex and Blake started laughing.

“You’re in love with her ass bro not her being” Henry said.

In that moment Dorathy enters the cafeteria with Nina.

“Oh! she is here” Blake said and Hilliary quickly looked that way.

“Hi” He called out to her.

Dorathy smiled and turned to him.

“Senior” She waved.

Hilliary stood up and went to her.

“Can I borrow her ?” He asked staring at Nina.

Nina smiled and nodded.

“Let’s go” Hilliary said and took her hand, taking her to the table.

“Eat with us”..

“I can’t, you guys are seniors..”.

“Will you sit down” Lex said.

Dorathy smiled and sat.

“I like the way you handle those two bastards” Henry said.

“Don’t be scared of us, we are different okay” Blake said and she nodded.

“You can have my plate” Hilliary said and pushed his plate to her.

“Hilliary!!!” The guys called.

“What?”.

“Nothing” They replied with laughter.

A RESTAURANT**

Brandon’s parked his bike outside before walking into the restaurant.

He walked to a table and sat down.

A waitress walked up to him.

“Sir what do you want to have?” She asked.

“I am waiting for someone” He replied.

“Okay” She said, leaving.

Cassie car stop outside the restaurant, she came out with smiles all over her face, she couldn’t decipher the reason she was happy to see him.

She took her bag from the car and walked inside the restaurant with that smile still on her face.
