The same evening, Mikaela heard something suspicious and went towards the window. She frowned seeing a strange car driving in.

She pulled out her phone and called Ben immediately.

“Where were you?” Mikaela asked over the phone.

“I’m on my way, I just went to get some drinks okay? Beside you’re not my momma so why you worried”

“I’m worried because a strange car just drove into your house” Mikaela gritted her teeth as the black car parked carefully.

“Strange car, I’m not expecting a visitor. Go hide” Ben replied grabbing the drink he bought and turn to leave the store. Getting outside Dagon came before him.

“Hello again” Dagon greeted dangerously.

Back in the house, Mikaela watched a tall figure get down from the car. Her lips parted in surprise recognizing the person.

“Ben it’s the professor, you have to come quickly” Mikaela said quickly but gasped and hide when Lucas looked up to the window where she was.

Outside the store, Ben tried his best to compose himself. Professor, could it be the man on suit who visited Elsa?

“Hey, Man. How have you been?” He faked a smile.

“Hmm, you know you could have given me the girl without a stress but instead you choose to do it in the hard way. Now you have to pay for your sin” Dagon said coldly.

Another guy appeared behind Ben shove a sedative into his neck.

The door opened lightly as Lucas stepped in gently. The house was empty but do not feel empty. He could feel the presence.

Mikaela was in her hideout. Her small palm was on her lips, trying hard not to make a sound. She had lock the door so how the hell did the professor get in?

Lucas walked further, his eye scan the comfortable room. He touched the picture of Ben and his mom smiling brightly.

“You know, when I was little..” He started talking causing Mikaela to frown. Does he know where she is?

“My mom and I use to play hide and seek. It was fun and trilling. I hide, she finds me and then we laugh together..” He paused and chuckled lightly dipping his hand into his pocket.

Mikaela bit down her lips hard. Why is he narrating his story when no one is in the house?

“I loved her so much. If I was this strong when she died, I could have save her. I was just seven when I watch her died. Tragic isn’t it?” He asked standing up, then slowly walked towards the table.

He squat observing the floor.

Mikaela eyes darted around in fear when she heard nothing. She jerk a bit, hearing the sound of the table shifting. Oh no!

“After I got the power. I found them again, those bastard who took her away from me. Guess what I did?” His lips stretched into an evil smile as he pulled out something from his pocket.

“I made them pay so dearly, they would always remember it in hell”

A gunshot was heard afterwards. The bullet hit Mikaela’s leg and she screamed.

“Arghh!!!”

*WHERE ARE YOU?*

Leonard texted before keeping his phone gently in his chest pocket. His yellow hair was combed backwards. He look like a royal britsh with his charming blue eyes.

“We are here again” Mr Miller muttered.

“Right father, I still don’t know the reason why I’m here” Leonard smiled handsomely.

“You’re getting married to her whether you like it or not. Son” Mrs Helen Miller, Leonard mother said. The resemblance was the blue eyes.

“Do you have to do this. I’ve missed some classes because of this shit” he said.

“Language.. I came all the way from Thai land knowing you aren’t listening to your father” Helen said calmly pouring out some wine for herself.

Leonard phone buzz from his pocket and he checked it out.

He let out a secret smile before putting his phone back into his pocket.

His gaze moved to the lady beside him. “Just let me be straight, don’t think my family is going to make me marry you. I told you my taste and you have none of it” Leonard said lightly.

Rachel parent who was also present have a slightly uncomfortable look on their face. If it wasn’t for the business benefit, they wouldn’t be here.

“I’m sure I’m better than the girl you have Mr Leonard” she also whispered surprising Leonard a little.

“Better? Do you mean better than my pinkie?” He whispered the look at his parents.

“She thinks she’s better my Charlie!” He said louder for them to hear.

Mrs Davis, Rachel’s mother rolled her eyes. “Leonard, I won’t tolerate you comparing my daughter with some unknown girl who doesn’t fit to be by your side..”

Leonard his hand on the table. “Talk down on my girl again then it might not go well”

Mr Miller bought out a paper and placed it before him. “Sign these papers or consider yourself as a stranger to the Millers family”

“Oh now, you want to disown your first son because of this?”

“I’m sure Peterson is more obedient than you. First you left the home, got a tattoo and disappeared. The only thing the family is asking you is to get married to the lady beside you and come back home” He said.

The door opened after his words and a pair of stiletto black heels appeared leading to a long slender heels. Her black gown tightly hugs her slim body having some sparkling designs on it. It worth a lot. On her shoulder was a furry pink coat. Her skin glowed and her light makeup made her look bold and cute at the same time.

She was like a pink Queen on a runway.

For a moment, Mr Miller thought he saw a goddess. Even with her slim body, she was able to bring out her beauty. Her boobs look larger on the dress.

Rachel frowned when she began to walk towards their table.

Leonard smiled a little. Without looking back, he knew it was her.

Reaching the table, Charlie carefully dropped her bag before sitting.

“Hello I’m Charlie by name” she smiled brightly at the stunned people.

Her eyes and Leonard’s eyes met. He was drooling over her already. She look back at the people before them.

“Shall we?” Her lips stretched into a smirk.

“You’re the masked guy?” Elsa asked in disbelief, her voice shaking as ever.

“Yeah, I am.. I swear I had a reason. Raider was the behind the framing thing. He and his gang was sent to fake the scene where my sister died. He was working with a mysterious man who ordered the death of my sister. I.. I am so fucking sorry Elsa… I swear to God, I regret what I did that night. I thought he was the one who killed my sister.. I shot him without getting to know what he was about to say… I’m sorry Elsa” He bit down his lower lips hard as tears run down from his hand.

Elsa took a sharp intake of breath.

‘Victoria Hampton, do you know her?’

‘Oh no!.. see you need to listen’

‘Answer the goddamn question’

‘I know her but…’

Elsa remembered how Raider was shot before her.

“And I tried to kill you too, I know I don’t deserve your forgiveness but I did what I had to do at that moment” Raymond said so low she almost didn’t hear him.

“Is that why you tried to push me away?” She asked lightly while staring deeply at him. Her eyes slowly turns red.

“Yeah, cus I know you’ll hate me, I deserve any hatred that comes from you.. If you ask me if I had the intention of killing you that night…” Raymond paused rethinking what he was about to say.

“My answer would be Yes, I wanted to kill you but I didn’t know why I stopped. Maybe I didn’t cause the heaven wants to punish me this way.. I just want you to know that my love for you isn’t a lie, I know I said some shits to you at the bar. I just didn’t know how to break the news to you. I’ve never loved anyone this much Elsa. I can’t even stop thinking about you for a second. You bought out the better side of me even when I’m such a stubborn asshole sometime”

“Sleeping beside you feels like heaven, your smile and laughter makes my heart go crazy”

Elsa only stared at guy whose face was wet with tears. Her heart was shattering into pieces.

“I’m sorry you fell in love with a coward Elsa. I don’t deserve you.. I never did and I hate myself for being around you” He wiped his tears afterwards.

He stood and handed the knife to her hand. “I’ll leave now, call me if you need me. I’ll always come for you”

He leaned down kissing her brown hair lightly as he turned to leave. Raymond broke down again in tears leaving the room.

Elsa stayed there without moving for a while, the news hit her pretty hard. Why does it have to be Raymond of all people? She fell in love with the guy who killed her father and almost killed her too?

Few minutes later, she was walking in the street, her mind was blank, her skin look paled. She just kept on walking then stopped when when she couldn’r take it anymore.

Her memories with her dad came in and shut her eyes close.

‘Dad, I wrote this music. Wanna hear it?’

She remembered the smile on his face hearing her sing.

‘How’s my Karate?!’

‘It’s awesome Elsa, keep it up’ Raider’s voice echoed in her head.

‘I love you’ Her will say kissing her head.

After the fire incident..

‘I hate you, I just wish your brother had been saved instead of you little bastard!’ Raider would yell kicking her almost every night when he gets drunk while little Piper only watch.

‘Don’t come close to me devil!’

‘I f**king hate, you’re such a bad omen’

She sometimes see her dad do dirty jobs. Raider had once beaten a man half dead in front of her before.

‘Dad! You should stop hurting people!’ she most time yell but get a beating in return.

‘She died because of you!!.. you were the reason why those goons have to trap us in a fire. Mom warned you several times to stop these dirty job but you didn’t listen!’

‘I just wished she had saved your little brother instead of a rat like you’

The way her father threw a bottle at her replayed in her head. He was about to beat her with a metal pole, when Raymond came in and shot him dead.

Right now her mind is in a mess not knowing what to think.

Raymond hurt face and words was tearing her apart.

Opening her eyes, a tear escaped and running down her cheek for the first time in many years, she let a tear out.

Touching her cheek, her breath turned shaky the more.

The cool breeze blew everywhere and the sky began to leak pouring down on her.

“Argh!” Elsa groaned out, more tears finds it’s way out. It hurts.

The rain began to mixed with her tears as she cried the hell out while standing on her spot. Her fist clenched hard as she slowly squat burying her face on her knee. Her teeth gritting.

A pair of black polished shoes appeared before her. The rain stopped hitting her when a white umbrella was put above her head.

She slowly raised her wet face to look at the person. Lucas was staring down at her with a slightly sad expression.

He could roughly guess what had happened. He squat down still holding the umbrella above her head.

“It hurts” she muttered sobbing the more. She sniffed in cold air every seconds.

“I love him Lucas. I love Raymond so much. Why couldn’t I say it! Just why?” She cried out.

Lucas stared at her for a while. The tears in her eyes made his blood boils. Why can’t she just choose him?

“I hate myself so much Lucas” she sobbed the more.

Ben coughed out hard waking up from his sleep. His head and neck hurts so much.

The last thing he remembered was him talking to Mikaela telling him the professor came to his house. Is he the one behind all of these?

The room have a little light in it. He crawled towards the place with a little more light.

“Jesus” He coughed out the more sitting up. His head was spinning so bad.

Resting his back on the wall, he felt the pain on his leg.

He tried to move it but the pain made him groaned out so loud.

“It dislocated” A famine voice made him jerk a little.

“Who’s there?” He asked lightly looking at the dark female figure. Her head was rested on the wall behind her, her knee folded.

“You new roommate, suit yourself” The lady replied. Her voice sounded weak but one would know she is a badass.

“Roommate.. and what do you mean my leg is dislocated?” Ben asked freaking a little.

“Yeah, they did that so you won’t escape” she said.

“This is fucked up” he muttered trying to move his leg but he wince from the intense pain coming from it.

“I won’t move if I were you” she said. The darkness covered her, he could only see her shadow.

“I don’t know where we are but I know that we are here just because we found out something we shouldn’t have. Well not for me cause once I get out of here, I won’t rest until I kill that bastard.. what bought you here?”

Ben noticed her turned her head to him. Even in the dark, he notice she have a short hair.

“I was having a talk with this girl I saved one night and then this dickface showed up and stabbed a sedative on my neck” he explained.

He heard the lady groaned lightly.

“You alright?” He asked.

“No, my stomach hurt” she whispered.

“You should get away from the darkness.. I’m Ben Smith, I came from Jamaica. What’s your name?” He asked.

He watch her stood up slowly and walk towards him with her right hand on her stomach.

The light slowly reveal her face. Her face was paled, dry lips with her eyes a bit black. Her short black hair was messy covering most part of her face.

“The name is Natasha Hales”
