🎙️ Aiden’s POV 🎙️
We continued walking but it was raining heavily and we’ve ran so far from the restaurant that we couldn’t find our way back
I was all drenched and shivering from the cold
“This all your fault dummy!!” I yelled “I told you to come out why did you have to go pick a fight with someone!”
“I didn’t pick a fight with him, I was just angry that he was cheating on my friend” she said and I shook my head
“It’s actually my fault, I shouldn’t have come after you” I said and we continued walking in the rain
I saw a bus stop and we quickly ran to stand under it
What was wrong with me, I should’ve just left her alone, shouldn’t have ran after her
🎙️ Emily’s POV 🎙️
I continued staring at Aiden as we stood under the bus stop and I couldn’t help but smile
This the first time, the first time he’s helping me not because I blackmailed him but because he wanted to
I guess he is a bit nice afterall
“Thanks for helping me” I said
“Don’t thank me, am already regretting it and trust me it won’t ever happen again, even if I see you falling off a cliff I won’t even move an inch” he said sternly
“What?!! If you hate me so much you should have just stayed in your car!!”
“Yeah, I won’t make that mistake again” he said and I huffed
Rude brat!
We continued to stand under the bus stop but the rain didn’t seem to be stopping soon
A car drove past us in high speed and Aiden quickly hid behind me and the water splashed all over me
“Aiden!!” I yelled
“What?”
“A good gentleman would use his body to cover the lady and not the other way round you fool!!” I yelled
“I agree am a gentleman but you aren’t just any lady, you are a dummy so don’t expect me to treat you like a lady!” He said and I scoffed
This guy is unbelievable
“When are you ever going to stop calling me dummy?!”
“Not happening dummy, not in this lifetime” he said
“It’s still raining heavily, what should we do?” I asked
“Shit, I left my phone in the car, where’s your phone?” He asked
“Here” I said as I gave him the phone
“What are you going to do with it?” I asked
“Calling Jason to come pick us up dummy!” He said
He called Jason but it’s seems it didn’t go through
“Stupid network, take” he said as he gave me back my phone
We continued standing and I noticed Aiden shivering
I should do something since he’s like this cause of me
I looked around and saw a neon sign with motel written on it
“Look at that” I said as I pointed at the sign “let’s go there”
“You want me to go to a motel?!!” He exclaimed
“What’s wrong with that?” I asked
“Am not a commoner like you dummy, how can a celebrity like me go to a motel!!”
“I know you have a reputation to maintain Aiden but you have to consider your health first, if you continue standing here you’ll freeze to death” I explained
“This is all your fault dummy, all your fault” he said and I shook my head
“Let’s just go” I said
We entered the rain and ran to the motel
“We need two rooms ma’am” I said to the receptionist
Aiden was busy covering his face just so no one will recognize him so I had to do the talking
“Am sorry but there’s no room available, all the rooms are filled” the receptionist said
“What!” Aiden said as he dropped his hand from covering his face “this is all because of you dummy, bad things always happens when am with you!!”
A man suddenly came down the stairs and walked to the receptionist
“I have to go now, something cropped up so take, deduct your pay” the man said giving the receptionist his credit card
The man paid and left
“You guys are lucky, there’s a room available now” the receptionist said
“But ma’am, we need two rooms not one” I said
“Well only one is available, take it or leave it” the receptionist said
I looked at Aiden, he looked so angry
I sighed
I have no choice
“Give us the room” I said and the receptionist gave me the key
🎙️ Aiden’s POV 🎙️
I looked at the dummy as she collected the key from the receptionist
This place is so poor, they won’t even clean the room first
And in the end am going to stay in a room with this dummy
She’s like a walking bag of problems, I should try my best to avoid her from now on
“Let’s go Aiden” she said and we climbed the stairs and found the room
We entered and gosh, the room is so old fashioned
“You must never speak a word of this to anyone dummy, people can’t find I once stayed in such a poor motel, it will be a huge stain to my reputation” I warned
“Is that what you are worried about right now?” She asked
“Is there anything else I should be worried about?” I asked
“In case you didn’t notice, we’ll be sleeping in the same room!” She said
“And so?”
“Are you a man at all?!! You should know what I mean!!” She yelled and I realised what she’s talking about and I couldn’t help but laugh at her thoughts
“What’s funny?” She asked
“Look here dummy, I don’t see you as a lady okay? Even if we are together and naked on an isolated Island I won’t even spare you a glance so get any stupid thoughts you are having out of your head and be comfortable”
“What?!! You won’t even spare me a glance if am standing naked in front of you? Are you gay?” She asked and I coughed
“Gay?!! If I were gay I wouldn’t have a girlfriend” I replied
“Oh yeah that’s true, then are you impotent or sterile?” She asked and I coughed again
“What!!” I exclaimed
“Or did you take an oath of celibacy?” She asked and I shook my head in disgust
“Stop spewing nonsense dummy!!” I said as gave her a knock on the head
“Aisshh” she yelped as she held her head “did you have to hit me you rude brat!”
“Get me some clothes, I need to change from this wet one” I said
“Its still raining heavily Aiden, there’s nowhere I can get you a cloth now” she replied
“Then what should I change into?!”
“Take” she said as threw two folded white towels on the bed at me “You can use that”
“You must be really crazy dummy, you want me to just use this towel and stay shirtless while am in a room with you?” I asked
“Yeah what’s the problem? You said you didn’t see me as a lady so you should be okay with it” she replied
“The problem is not with me dummy but you, who knows what weird thoughts you might have!” I said
“If that’s what you are worried about then you are worried for no reason, I’ve never found you attractive and I don’t think I ever will”
“What!!”
“You heard me right so go change in the bathroom” she said
Wow, this girl must have some eye problem, how can she say she’s never found me attractive
I scoffed as I walked to the bathroom to change
🎙️ Emily’s POV 🎙️
I was wearing a light knee-length gown with a jacket so I decided to remove the wet jacket
I looked at the bed, there’s only one towel remaining
Even if he said he isn’t interested in me, I still can’t change into just a towel when he’s around, I guess I’ll just have to sleep in this wet gown then
The bathroom door opened and Aiden came out with one towel tied round his waist and the other was just around his neck leaving his chest bare
He used the towel round his neck to dry his hair and I couldn’t stop staring at him
He’s just so handsome
What are you thinking Emily!!
I quickly slapped my subconscious self
He’s not handsome, you’ve never found him attractive
“Are you okay? You’re behaving like someone that has been possessed” Aiden said and I scoffed
Always finding a way to get on my nerves
I noticed he kept staring at me and I felt uncomfortable
“Why are you staring at me?” I asked
“Well….your……your…..dress” he stuttered
“What’s wrong with my dress?” I asked
“It’s……its wet and…..and it’s stuck on your body so I…. I can see your….. your chest” he stuttered
“What!!!” I exclaimed as I quickly took the remaining towel and used it to cover my chest
“You pervert why didn’t you tell me earlier!!” I yelled
“Did you see everything?” I asked
“Yeah but why are you getting so worked up, it’s not as if it’s big or anything, it’s definitely not my type” he said and my jaw dropped
“You pervert!!” I yelled as I removed my shoe and threw it at him and it hit him on his forehead
“Ahhh!!” He screamed as he held his forehead and blood was dripping down his face
Oh no, the shoe made a cut on his forehead!
“Am….am really sorry Aiden” I said as I moved closer to him “I didn’t to….”
“Get away from me!!” He yelled and I flinched
Oh God, what have I done now
I quickly rushed out of the room and got a first aid kit from the receptionist
🎙️ Aiden’s POV 🎙️
I covered my forehead in pain and the dummy ran back inside with a first aid kit
I should have listened to my warning before and avoid her at all cost
She always cause problems for me
“Sit lemme clean the cut” she said and I gave her a stern look
“Am sorry Aiden but it’s gonna keep bleeding unless you let me clean it” she said and I sat on the bed reluctantly
She cleaned the cut with some solution and I yelped in pain and she laughed
“Is this funny to you?” I asked
“No, it’s just….. You reminded me of my younger brother, he always scream this way whenever he gets wounded and I treat it for him” she said
“Keep your family fantasies to yourself dummy, I don’t want to hear it” I said curtly
“Are you still angry?” She asked as she plastered the cut
“Am I not supposed to be!!” I yelled “you just made a cut on a face the whole world admires!!”
“I said am sorry” she said
“Your sorry doesn’t make the pain nor the cut go away” I replied and she sighed
“Fine, there’s no point in apologising since it’s obvious you won’t ever forgive me” she said
“You are right about that, I won’t ever forgive you” I said sternly
“How are we going to sleep on the bed?” She asked
“What do you mean we?” I asked
“Me and you” she replied absentmindedly
“The guts you have dummy! You want a sleep on the same bed with me!!”
“It’s not like I have a choice, there’s only one bed here” she said
“I will sleep alone on the bed, you dummy, you are going to sleep on the floor” I said
“What! But it’s cold” she complained
“Do I look like I care” I said as I laid on the bed and covered myself with a blanket
She huffed angrily and laid on the floor
For all the troubles she have caused me, she totally deserves to sleep on the floor

I woke up in the middle of the night and God, it’s so cold even though I covered myself with a blanket
I moved to the edge of the bed and looked at the dummy
She’s fast asleep but she must be so cold
Forget it Aiden, don’t do anything stupid again just to help her
But what if she gets sick because of me? What if she catches a cold?
I stood up from the bed and covered her with my blanket
I laid back on the bed with only a towel, no blanket
“You are very foolish Aiden, very foolish” I said to myself as I rubbed my palm together
Am so cold
