Episode One
George Darlington is the CEO of Darlingtons Business Enterprises which has spread its parts all over New York the capital of United States of America , the enterprise and its sub parts are well known and popular even at home and all over the world, these enterprises\companies threatened the existence of other companies which has put George’s life and that of his family in danger. Over the years, George has hidden his face from the media because of terrible hunters who are seeking his downfall and that of his business, recently he was encountered with a terrible accident which almost claimed his life, his face was brutally injured, he stayed in coma for fifteen days. After the accident no one has seen his face ever since then, but only his best friend Michael Olayemi, George is a Nigerian by descent but he was born and brought up in New York, he as never stepped his foot in Nigeria. His both parents died after they heard his fatal accident. His parents were from Nigeria, but after many years of living in abject poverty, they borrowed money from friends and family which they repaid later, they relocated to Maryland on the advice of a friend, they got working and step by step, they began to build the enterprise, His parents changed their surname which was difficult to pronounce by business associates. George was married with three kids=two girls and a boy, his wife was a green snake under a green grass, she was working for a company to bring down Darlington Enterprises. She was told to deceive George into signing a fake business deal in order to dupe the Company and implicate George, during the years they were married, Darlington Enterprises were running at loss which made Michael Olayemi to become very sensitive and he was the one that exposed Clara, George’s wife,when she was about to deceive George into signing a fake business deal which would have made the Enterprises fold up. Clara later had an accident and died while trying to ran away from the police.

In a very beautiful house, in,side the house is sitted a man, he was busy reading and signing several doc-ments, he should be in his mid thirties. He is so much very handsome and well built, bandage were still around his head and his left hand which he placed gently on the table. Someone entered unknowingly and pointed something on his bandage head which he could feel, he was scared.

“If you move, I won’t hesitant to blow out your skull man” the person said trying to fake a deep voice, they both burst out laughing.

“Michael you scared the living hell outta me” the man said as Michael hugged him gently and pulled a chair out to sit beside him.

“Well thank goodness, it was the living hell and not your life” Micheal said and they both laughed. “So how is George Darlington doing today” Micheal asked,as he unfolded the paper he poitned on George’s head.

“Am doing great but still feeling pains in my arms and on my head” George replied.

“Sorry about that,I was bored in the office,so I said I should pay you a visit” Michael said and dropped some doc-ments on the table.

“Ooh shit,more work right?? I was just in coma for a short period of time and works have pilled up for me,jeez am so tired” George replied tiredly.

“Excuse you? Did you just say a short period of time? You were in coma for fifteen days, these days were the worst days of my life” Michael said and shook his head.

“My kids right??” George asked.

“Of course man,they were so stubborn,but they are loving too though” Micheal said and they both laughed.” There was a day Ashley the youngest one said I should give her water,I said she should take it herself,she frowned at me and went to take it,but little did I know that she had a payback plan for me,they all finished dressing up for school,we entered the car and I drove them to school as they got down I bidded them good bye,they did the same too but Ashley said “godfather enjoy your ride back home” I didn’t take note of anything,but when I got to office,I started looking for my bag,I searched and searched,only then did I remember what Ashley said,I went back home,looked for the bag almost for an hour I didn’t see it, then I went to Ashley’s room,there I found my lost bag laying on the bed,I took it and found a note on it,it says “payback”, I took it and drove back to the office”Micheal narrate, George roared in laughter.

“The kids are not happy with Clara’s behaviors infact they hate her now even when she is dead” Micheal said after minutes of laughing.

“They never liked her,she leaves them for the nanny and never attends to them” George replied as a matter of fact.

“Well I guess she’s gone from your lives,I hope you find a better black American or white, well let’s just say you will find a good lady” Micheal said while George shakes his head disapprovally.

“Nope,not interested at all and I bet my kids won’t love the idea at all” George replied.

“That’s true,those your kids are something else but I do love them” Micheal said and smiled.

“George I hope you know that your life is still in danger” Michael said sadly.

“Of course I know,I will be very careful now,it was Clara that made them attack me” George replied looking at his best friend’s worried expression “I will be fine okay” he added and smiled.

“So when are your kids coming home” Michael asked

“Very soon” George replied after checking the time,he looked at his best friend intensively and suspected something was wrong with him although he was not showing it,he decided to ask. “Michael are you alright??”

“Huh!!! No am not, after doing a host of bone breaking and tiring works for fifteen days,you still ask me, c’mon dude am not fine at all” Michael said,he stood up went to the kitchen and grabbed the available meal that was in the fridge,he microwaved it ,took a drink and walked back to his seat.

“No ,not that,you don’t look fine to me, okay if you say so,so how is Jessica???” Goerge asked not looking at his friend cause he was signing a doc-ment.

“Oooooh she ,we broke up” Michael said unchallantly, George shot up his head and looked at Michael as if he he had suddenly grown taller than he was.

“You broke up with your wife to be???? What happened??? I thought you said you were getting married soon, MichaeI, what’s the problem??? ” George asked amazed.

“I found out she was cheating on me and that she didn’t love me, everything was a charade” Michael said.

“What???? How did you come to know??” George asked yet to believe what Michael was saying.

“I was here with your kids,the day she came over the house Adrian, Alexa and Ashley registered their disapproval saying she is not good for me,I asked why but they didn’t answer me, little did I know that they were always eveasdropping on her conversation on phone,so it was a Saturday,she came and was helping around the house to the kids’ dislike,her phone vibrated ,so as I was going to give her outside,her chat opened,I didn’t want to read but my eyes caught a statement “Michael is just a fool,I don’t love him anymore,just after his money if at all we get married,am gonna divorce him,he his not my type” with this statement,I decided to read all her chats which got me crying,I confronted her but she gave me two hot slaps with insults with that she stormed out of the house,she didn’t call or apologize,she sent me a message, that she was through with me” Michael narrated painfully.

“Ooooh that’s bad, she’s is a bad white American, don’t worry okay,so you are the only one in your house right? Don’t you feel lonely?” Goerge asked his friend.

“Of course I am but what can I do?” Michael replied as he continued to devour his food.

“Why not put the house on lease or sell it,you can come live here and am sure my kids gonna love it,l miss you too and I want someone who is you to help me with my kids,you know how they can be,and am still recovering from the injury” Goerge said and Michael was so happy that he hugged George tightly forgetting he has injury.”Ouch!!! You are hurting me man” he added quickly, Michael disengage quickly and patted him.

“I will just moved my things and lease the others” Micheal said happily,he took his phone and made some calls. On the other hand George was thinking about how he and Michael became friends and how Michael has been a good and wonderful friend ever,who had helped and cared for him and his kids,who has watched out for him and his business, George smiled as memories of the good times they had spent together,he was grateful that he had Michael as a friend.The two friends continued to work and gist,after some hours,some loads were brought to the house, Michael arranged his belongings into an empty room upstairs where other rooms were, while George helped him in moving light things.
