Episode Two
On a very beautiful morning, a girl of four years walked into George’s room, he was still sleeping because the previous day he had worked late into the night, he slept late.she moved towards him, k-ssed his forehead and tapped him,he didn’t respond, she tapped again, he didn’t respond, she went downstairs to the kitchen to meet her godfather, who was busy with washing dishes.

“godfather, good morning” she greeted frowning.

“Good morning baby girl, how are you and your night???” Michael replied not looking at her.

“Fine” she responded sharply this made Michael look at her and he sees her frowning face, he dried his w-t hands and went to her, squatted to her level

“Ashley dear what’s the problem???” Michael asked Ashley who was thinking on what to tell her godfather inorder for him not to ruin her already made plans.

“It’s Adrian, he said I can’t operate an Android” she said sulking.

“What???! Why will Adrian tell my beautiful baby that?? I will teach you okay, don’t cry, because if you do your face won’t be cute this morning” Michael said innocently.

“godfather,I want you to teach me how to play that frozen song you downloaded for me” Ashley said smiling, Michael carried her and placed her on the table.

“You mean “let it go” song that Elsa sang” Michael said,he made sure he watched every cartoon the kids told him too, especially Ashley’s.

“Yes!!” She said happily, Michael brought out his smartphone and taught her how, Ashley is a very fast learner,she got it after he taught her once,she replayed it for him.

“Yeah!!! That’s my baby girl” Micheal said and they high fived.

“Can I go and show Adrian,I can do it” Ashley asked and Michael nodded.

“Baby don’t forget to pull your tongue out at him”she smiled and nodded as what Micheal said and he put her down,she went upstairs smiling mischievously. She paused the song and went to her Father’s room,she peeped and when she was sure he was still sleeping,she walked in placed phone close to his ears ,she played the song in the highest volume,and she placed her face close to her Father’s,she made a scary expression.Goerge began to have the effect of the song,he opened his eyes and scre-med when he saw Ashley scary expression.

“Ahhhhhhhhh!!!” George scre-med and jumped out of the bed, Ashley burst out laughing, Goerge looked at his little daughter and wonder what to do,he took the phone and paused the song.”Ashley, what’s was that??” He asked a still laughing Ashley.He looked at the phone and saw it was Micheal’s ,he went downstairs hurrily.

While Michael was dishing out breakfast, a very handsome boy of seven years with a coiled hair which made him look extremely handsome,he was only putting on a short, while he left his chest bare.

“Uncle Michael, good morning” he greeted.

“Hey Adrian, good morning handsome” Michael said and the boy smiled sheepishly.

“Uncle…”he was yet to complete what he was saying when Micheal remembered what Ashley said.

“Yeah,why did you tell Ashley she can’t operate an Android?” Michael asked Adrian whose face turned into a frown.

“But godfather,I didn’t tell Ashley that,I haven’t seen her this morning too” Adrian said truthfully, Michael stood transfixed for a minute,he finally recovered.

“Oooh no, George” Michael said as he ran out wanting to go to Goerge’s room,he collided with him and looking at his best friend face and a laughing Ashley he knew there was problem. George narrated everything that happened frowning, both Michael and Adrian couldn’t surpress their laughter.

“Dad I was trying to wake you up but you weren’t waking up” Ashley explained as if what she did was not bad.

“Michael, you gave her your phone to play her favorite song in my ears” George asked. Michael narrated what Ashley told him.

“Dad are you mad at me?? I…” Ashley said and stopped as she was almost crying, George bent down to her level.

“Nope baby am not” he said an Ashley pecked him on his cheek.

“Dad why don’t you always allow me peck you on the l-ips” Ashley asked looking at her father innocently.

“What????” Both Michael and George scre-med.

“Of course you can’t,I won’t even do that if I were you” a girl whose age was ten said and everyone looked back,the girl’s straightened hair was packed in two pony tails , still wearing her pajamas and a hairy slippers,she went and hug both Michael and George, giving Adrian and Ashley pats on their cheeks.

“Why did you say so,Alexa???” Michael asked the ten years old girl.

“The l-ips that Clara has k-ssed and pecked countless times” Alexa said and gave a mischievous smile.

“Yuck!!” Adrian and Ashley said disgusted.

“What???” George scre-med and began to chase his three kids around the house, Michael couldn’t help laughing so hærd.

“Okay ladies and gentlemen, let’s eat” Michael shouted for them to hear,they all sat down around the table laughing heartily.

“Why did you call Adrian a gentleman,is Adrian a man yet???” Ashley questioned.

“Yeah,I also had same thought,Ashy” Alexa said.

“Of course,am a man girls!” Adrian said referring to his sisters “don’t you know that this is how men dress in the morning” Adrian added both Michael and George exchanged glances.

“Really!!! Why??” His Dad asked, while Michael couldn’t stop laughing.

“Yeah Dad,the way you and godfather dressed this morning is not a man’s style it’s a boy’s style”Adrian said with pride.

“But what wrong with godfather’s shrit and shorts” Alexa said after chewing her food and sipping her drink.

“Yeah! What’s wrong with Dad’s singlet and shorts too??”Ashley asked after eating a full spoon of her meal, Michael and George kept wondering where Adrian was driving at.

“Don’t you know baring your chest early in the morning makes ladies drool” Adrian said and patted his chest with pride.

“What???!” George and Michael yelled.

“Adrian,you think so??” Ashley asked while Alexa was giggling.

“I don’t think so but I know so” Adrian answered.

“Dad,do you know what am thinking???” Alexa said.

“Nope,I don’t know” George answered.

“I think each morning we go to school, Adrian secretly pull off his shirt and singlet inorder to make his female class mates drool” Alexa said while Ashley nodded, Michael couldn’t stop laughing.

“What?? Is that true??” Goerge asked.

“Of course not daddy” Adrian replied frowning

“Alright, c’mon every one table manners, let’s eat now,no talking” Michael said.

“But godfather……..” The kids chorused.

“No buts” Michael replied,the kids looked at their father thinking he would support them.

“Yeah I agree with your godfather” Goerge burt their bubbles.

“Dad is such a kill joy” Alexa said quietly.

“Did you say anything darling??” Goerge asked , Alexa denied both Ashley and Adrian chuckled,they ate their food quietly,after they were through,the kids parked their plates while Alexa did the washing, George and Michael went to Goerge’s room to continue their office work.

After one week.

Alexa, Adrian and Ashley were sitting in the parlor waiting for both Michael and George to arrive from the hospital.

“Am sure Dad will look more handsome than before when those stupid bandage are gonna be removed for ever” Alexa said as she put on the television,her siblings doesn’t seem interested in the television,so she just lowered it and went back to her seat.

“Yeah that true, but Dad’s face changed a bit” Adrian said his sisters nodded their heads.

“Yes that’s true,but it makes him look good though and thank goodness Clara is outta our lives,I never liked her” Ashley said

“Same here,she never loved us nor Dad,she just came to ruin us” Adrian said sadly.

“That’s true but thank goodness she gone now,so we are free from her naggings and pretence” Alexa said happily.

“But I hope both Dad and godfather get good ladies too” Ashley said and her older ones nodded.

“Alexa is it true,that we are monkeys???” Adrian asked, Alexa burst out laughing.

“Of course not,do ya have a tail” Alexa replied still laughing but when she saw the sad expression on her siblings faces,she became serious “why do you say that??” She asked.

“One of my friends said so because we African-Americans” he said still with a sad expression.

“Of course not, you should be happy that we are citizens of two countries not all your mates has that opportunity “Alexa said

“That’s true” Adrian and Ashley chorused.

“And am looking forward to going there someday, what about you guys??” Alexa said happily.

“Me too” Adrian and Ashley chorused happily.

Soon they heard the car’s horn,they all rushed out each wearing a beautiful dress,they stood in front of the car, Michael and George got down from the car. The kids ran to their Father and gave him a warm hug.

“Hey!! Easy! He is till not yet strong okay” Michael their godfather shouted as they almost pushed George down with their weight,they disengaged.

“Gosh!! Dad looks so handsome that I am crushing” Ashley said childishly.

“What!!!! Now baby girl where did you hear that from???” Michael asked amazed.

“From older girls in school” Ashley replied innocently.

“Well!! Baby girl I love you too but am not crushing on you” George said playfully and they laughed.

“I love your new look Dad” Adrian replied while George placed both hands on his face in mock embarrassment.

“What!!! Dad are you blushing, when I commented you didn’t blush but when Adrian did,you blushed,am not gonna play with you again” Ashley said and went over to her godfather who carried her.

“Yes that’s true” Alexa said adding more salt to injury, Goerge gave her a killer look,she smiled mischievously.

“Ashy baby girl, c’mon I super blushed when you commented” George said trying to please Ashley who doesn’t look convinced.

“But I didn’t see it,did you Adrian??” Alexa asked Adrian who got the message his older sister was trying to pass across,he giggled, Goerge sent dagger looks at Alexa who was smiling mischievously again, Goerge exchanged glances with Michael who purposely ignored him inorder to make more fun.

“I did… You make me miss Clara” Goerge said feigning sadness,the kids shoot up their head like snakes which just saw its prey, Ashley got down from Michael and went to hug her Dad including her siblings.

“C’mon Dad I saw you blushed I was just pulling your legs” Ashley said and pecked her father, while the others hugged him, George gave Micheal a look to kill.Micheal couldn’t stop laughing. They all made their way to the house.
