It pained me the more seeing how Santiago smiles while talking to her and how he keeps looking at her and getting so closed to her.

I was standing all alone with a glass of wine staring at them with an angry face,Mother came to me.

“Why are you here all alone? Where is Santiago?
She asked.

“Mother I told you that Santiago is seeing someone else that he is cheating on me but you never believe me now see things for yourself”
I sounded sadly and pointed at their direction.

“Who is that girl?
She asked at the moment he saw them gisting and laughing.

“She is a daughter of nobody an ordinary cook that supply lunch for him at his office”
I shouted still sad.

“Never! I need to talk to Santiago right away”
She shouted angrily and walked out to see them.

I went to the bar attendance to carry out the awesome plan I have for that bitch.

“This white wine the Carajillo how many percent of alcohol does it contain?
I asked as I raised up the bottle.

“It’s 120 percent Ma!
He answered.

“That’s good! A little of it can make someone to do the unspeakable thing while drunk?
I asked.

“Yes Ma! It’s very powerful,a little sip of it can get you drunk that’s why is not every man that like to drink it,is only the few that got head for the drink”
He said.

“Impressive! I like that,you see that girl over there”
I said Ponting at her.

“Yes!

“I know she will not like to drink red wine she will rather prefer juice so I want you to drop a little of Carajillo in her juice”
I said.

“But Ma its………..
I interrupted him with money.

“There’s no but”
I said and put the money in his shirt pocket.

“Once she is alone carry out your job”

“Okay Ma,I will do as you said”
He said and I went out.

“I can’t wait to see how she will embrass herself in the public”
I said with smiles.

“My Chef,I can’t believe you are the one am sitting with right now”
He said staring at me so much that I even felt uncomfortable with it.

“Sir why did you say so?
I asked starring at the ground,I don’t want to look at him especially those his cute eyes that always makes melts my heart.

“Because you look so beautiful I mean extraordinary beautiful, Reina your beauty is incomparable with any lady”
He said and making me to feel more shy.

“Thank you for the compliment Sir”
I thanked him shyly.

“You dont want to look at me since I have been sitting here with you,Why? Are you shy to look at me or what?
He asked.

How will I tell you that looking at you makes my heart to race so fast and my heart yawns for you”
I thought.

“No Sir! Am not shy!
I said still not looking at him.

“Then look at me and stop staring at the ground”
He said.

I turned and faced him,
“Am looking at you now,you see am not shy”
I said still feeling shy.

I know friends are hærd to choose,But you are a friend I will never want to lose”
He said to me with smiles.

“He got no feelings for you Reina,he only consider you as a friend and nothing more,it is better I kill the feelings i have for him because it won’t work between us”
I thought without uttering any word to him.

He keep staring at me with smiles without saying anything to me.

A woman came and called him off from the staring.

“Santiago I need to see you”
She said.

“Mom meet my friend Reina and Reina meet my Mom”
He introduced us.

“Good day Ma!
I stood up and greeted her but she gave me the scary look of my life.

“Santiago I said I need to see you”
He shouted at him.

“Okay Mom,I will be right back okay”
He said to me before leaving with the Mom.

His mother didn’t like me at all,her first expression showed that to me,the look she gave me can send someone to the grave.

I sat down staring at the guests,the party is indeed a very big one and a rich man party,all his guests are top politicians and rich business men.

I was nodding my head enjoying the music that was playing and a waiter came to me with a drink.

“What will care to take,Red wine or juice?
He asked.

“I will take the juice”
I said with smiles.

He gave me the juice and went out,I started drinking the juice a sip by sip and singing along with the music.

🌷SANTIAGO🌷
I don’t like the look mother gave Reina,it was so embarrassing to me,she shouldn’t have gave her that awful look.

“Who is that girl? The girl you were jovialing around with?
She asked being so serious.

“Mom I introduced her to you a while ago,She is Reina my friend”
I said.

“Your introduction is not what I need well let me make it clear to if your intentions is to date that low life and bring her home as my daughter in law ,I won’t allow such thing”
She shouted at me.

“Mom you know am a full grown man and i have the right to make my choice of whom I want to marry,whom I want to spend the rest of my life with”
I said.

“You have already made your choice,Becky is the right woman for you and she will be a good wife to you too”
She said.

“Mom you think I will spend the rest of my life with that Becky of a girl? Oh hell no Mom! She is not worthy to be my wife”
I sounded.

“What did you mean? Did you think that I will allow you to break up with Becky and throw her out like a piece of trash after being with her for a very long time and I sit down fold my hands and allow you to bring that daughter of nobody into this my house,you lied Son”
She shouted a lit bit to avoiding the guests from noticing anything.

“You what Mom,is my day and I don’t want anybody to ruin it for me,we can talk about this after the party,thank you”
I said and walked out to go and be with the one that beats my heart the most,I have made up my mind to confess my love for her and i don’t want anybody to ruin that for me.

As I was going to meet Reina,Mom walked to me,
“Son is time to cut the cake,the guests has gathered already.

“Okay,I will be with you them shortly”

“Where are you going to? To meet that low life,that daughter of nobody?
She asked and I did not utter any word to her and went my way as I said I don’t want anybody to ruin my precious day.

I was sipping my drink and Mr Gilberto came,
“Did you like the juice?
He asked with smiles.

“Yeah,it’s good”
I replied back with smiles and this time I looked at him without being shy anymore.

“Am about to cut the cake and I want you to join us”
He said smiling.

“Are sure that you want me there?
I asked.

“Yes,I want you to be there,I want you to in the picture,you are my number one important guest here and I will feel bad if you did not join me to cut my cake”
He said.

“I will be feeling somehow in the midst of your guests”
I sounded.

“You will be there with you,you will not feel any how okay,if you did not join me I won’t cut my cake so let’s go now if you want me to cut my cake”
He said and straighten out his hand for me to hold him.

“Let’s go the guests are waiting”

“Okay!
I stood up and hold him as we walked to where the cake is.

The guests stared at me and the look his mother and his fiancee gave me got me off balance.

As he was cutting the cake,my head started pinning around and my eyes making me to see double things,I can’t really tell what’s wrong with me at that moment.

At that moment I finished cutting the cake,the guests shouted “Happy Birthday” To me, Reina shouting got me so surprised because her voice was louder than the guests voice,she was feeling so excited.

“What happen to her now? She is no longer shy again?
I thought with smiles.

The guests’ s eyes were all on her she keep on shouting happy birthday to me,as mother was about to feed me with the cake, she rushed and cut the cake.

“Happy Birthday my handsome Sir Gilberto”
She shouted happily and put the cake into my mouth.

I became so astonished of her sudden behaviour.
“What have come over her?

“You brought a lunatic as a guest?
Mother shouted being so furious.

“Come let’s go and dance!
She dragged out to the dancing floor.

She started dancing nonsense and even tweaking nonsense for me too,the guests were laughing as they watches her dance,she is not good in dancing.

“Reina what is it? What have come over you?
I asked being more confused of her suddenly behaviour.

“Nothing Mr Gilberto,you know is your day and i want us to have some fun,C’mon dance with me”
She shouted.

She placed her two hands on my shoulders and tweaking for me,the guests were laughing uncontrollable.

“C’mon dance with me! Don’t you know how to dance?
He asked and started dragging me around,the guests laughs and make mockery of her,she became a funny movie to the guests.

At a point I came to realised that she is drunk that’s why the sudden change of her behavior but what I don’t understand is what got her drunk, something is really fishy here.

One of my guest walked up to me and said,
“Mr Santiago you brought a comedian to entertain us in your party”
He laughed.

“Mr Hugo watch your mouth,she is not a comedian”
I shouted at him angrily.

“Oh Sorry! Let me enjoy the show! She is such a funny dancer right”
He laughed and walked out.

I became so angry of not because I don’t want to cause any scene on my party I would have burst out his teeth.

I tried to stop Reina from dancing and embrassing herself the more but she keep on shouting,dancing and running up and down.

“Security take this lunatic away!
Mother shouted and the securities went to get her.

“Don’t you bare touch her”
I shouted at them and they stood still.

“Mother! She is not a lunatic,she is drunk,you don’t have to call the security on her”
I shouted.

“Is that the type of girl you want in your life a drunkard?
She shouted.

“Mother she is not a drunkard,I know that someone add alcohol in her drink just to embrass her and make a laughing stock and I will fish that person out”
I shouted.

“Security what are you two standing there for? Drag this mad girl out of this building”
She shouted at them.

Reina came to me and shouted.
“Mr Santiago come let’s dance,are you not feeling the vibe”

I held her hand and said,
“You know what am taking you home right now”

“No! The party have not end,I still want to dance”
She shouted and ran off.

“You are not taking that mad girl home,let the securities do their job by throwing her out of the gate”
Mom said.

“I will do no such thing Mom! She is my guest and it’s my responsibility to take her home considering the stage she in”
I shouted and ran out to get her.

I caught her,
“Reina you need to go now,it’s getting late okay”
I said and hold her hand.

“I don’t want to go yet, I want to dance and have fun it’s your birthday”
She said.

“The party has end already,you need to go now,it’s getting late okay”

She was not walking properly due to her dunkardness,I carried her and I saw the angry look on Mother’s face and the jealously written all over Becky’ s face and the people stared at us but I don’t give a bloody care.

I took her in,side the car,tie the sit beat on her got in,side and drove out.

“I forgot to sing Happy Birthday song to you”
She shouted and started singing for me,I was smiling as she was singing.

“Did you know I love you Mr Santiago?
She said with smiles.

“You do?
I asked.

“Yes,I love you so much that I want to be in your arms forever,I can’t take you off my head,I think about you all day but I wonder if you think of me like I do,The moment I first saw you, you warmed my heart, the second time you made little flames and now you make my heart burn like hell,Dreaming of you makes my night worth while, thinking of you makes me Smile, having you is the best thing ever and loving you is what I plan to do forever,i love you so much Mr Gilberto but I don’t know if you feel the same way for me”
She said and my face was written with beautiful smiles.

After confessing her love to me,she rest her head on my shoulder and slept off.

“She looks more beautiful while asleep”
I said with smiles.

My heart was filled with so much joy,words are not enough to express the way i felt at the moment she confesses her love for me now i know she has feelings for me,had it been she is not drunk she wouldn’t have confess her love for me that’s why they said there’s power in alcohol it makes you to spill out the truth.

Her phone started ringing,it was Vero her sister,I picked the call.6d54yu4yy

📞 Reina where are you? It’s already late,you suppose to be at home by now”
She shouted.

📞 Is me Mr Gilberto,am bringing your sister back home,we will be at home within twenty minutes”

📞 Okay Sir!
She said and ended up the call.

I feel so happy that she loves me too and I couldn’t stop smiling to myself until we got to their house,I called Vero and she came down immediately.

“She is asleep, let me bring her out”
I said.

“Okay Sir!

I carried her out from the car to the house,Vero led the way to their room,I walked slowly to avoid making any noise and waking up anybody.

We got to their room,I lied her down on the bed and just about to leave,she hold my shirt,

“Please don’t go,I want you to stay here with me,I love you”
She said still sleeping.
