“Let go of me, I’m only here to find my brother” the girl yelled and jerked my hand off her.

And who is your brother? I asked.

Who is looking for a brother? Kendrick asked without looking at us.

Kendrick!!! The girl shouted on hearing his voice and he turned to look at her immediately.

Angela? He called and the girl released herself from my hold and ran to meet him.

I finally found you Ken, i’ve regained my memory. where have you been, why did you let them chase out of the house? I missed you so much… The girl said as she cried

I’m sorry for leaving you, I missed you too and have always hope you’d regain your memory and look for me…he replied too.

Wow! I can’t believe you found your family too. Your mom’s here, you two should release yourself already… I said.

How do you expect me to leave him when I haven’t seen him in years. I miss my brother so much… The girl said.

Son! How have you been? The woman said causing them to disengage from the hug.

“I’m Stephanie” I said to the girl stretching my hand for handshake.

“I’m Angela” she replied and took my hands, looking perplexed.

“It’s nice meeting you” I said and went into my room to pack my belongings.

Bye ma’am, I hope you sort out your misunderstanding soon… I said to his mom and left.

“Stephanie wait! I’m sorry” he said but I ignored him and went out of the house.

“You caused this, that girl has nowhere to go. I swear I won’t ever forgive you if she refuses to come back with me” I heard him say as I walked away

Kendrick! Don’t you dare follow that girl, she isn’t our family member. So why chasing after her when mom’s here because of you. That’d be so disrespectful of you if you leave mom behind for the girl… Angela said as I was about leaving the house.

I have no mother, the mother I have got lost years back.. I replied and tried leaving but she ran to my front, thereby stopping me from moving further.

Son! Please forgive me, I know I’ve wronged you and I’ve hurt your feelings. I want you to forget about what happened in the past and forgive me, let’s reunite.

I regret ever supporting your father, I know I failed as a mother. I’ve always lived to regret my actions, I’m ready to make it up to you. Forgive me Ken, I love and miss you so much… She apologized

How on earth did you find me, how did you know where I’m living? Why do you have to come now that everything is fine with my life? Why! Why!! Why!!! I yelled in frustration.

Please forgive our parents, everything happened because of me. Let go of the past, please.

Forgive them please, I promise to go look for the girl for you even though I don’t know who she is yet… Angela said.

I left them and went to my room. I tried calling Stephanie’s numbers but she’s turned them off.

Why did I say those words to her? I asked myself and stood up immediately to go search for her. Only to meet Angela and mom standing at the entrance of my room.

I ignored them and walked away but Angela pulled me back. “What about us”? she asked.

Fine! I’ve forgiven her she’s my mother after all, but I’m not going back to your house. You can always come here anytime you wish… I said and mom pulled me to herself immediately and hugged me tight.

“Thank you so much son, I missed you so much” she said in tears.

“Of course I’ve missed my mother’s touch, care and affection too” I thought not knowing when tears started streaming down my cheek.

Will you forgive your father too? Please do. He just guilty and conscience has been eating him up, that’s why he couldn’t come here with us. She said as she car-ssed my cheek

I know who my brother is, I trust you. Thanks for bringing genuine smile on mom’s face again… Angela said and came to join in the hug.

Now, Let’s go look for your friend before it’s too late… Mom said and they both held my hand.

You’re still gonna tell me how you were able to locate me… I said and they both nodded.

It’s late already, why don’t we return today and continue searching for her tomorrow? Besides, She’s gonna come to school tomorrow. You can settle your misunderstanding then… Angela opined and somehow I agreed.

I got to school the next day, but she didn’t come. Not even Tessa knows her whereabout. That got me really worried and I regret ever venting my anger on her.

She refused to come to school throughout the week and that made everyone think she’s quit.

“Oh Lord! Please I really wanna find this girl today” I prayed silently before stepping out of the house.

I went in search of her for a while before finally heading back to school.

“This is a new week and she still isn’t in school” I said and hit the steering out of frustration.

I got to school and headed to the class but stopped when I heard some voices at the school backyard.

I can see you’ve decided to come back to school. Oh! You must’ve been hustling hærd on the streets.

I heaved a sigh of relief when I saw Stephanie looking perfectly fine.

Too bad, I told you I’ll make you regret ever coming to our house. You can never be rich and that’s why I despise you so much. I hate the poor so much. Ashley said to Stephanie

I need you to leave this school finally, your presence irritates me. Seeing you makes me cringe.

I stood behind to observe what’s gonna happen, I can’t stop her this time.

Go away! She said and pushed her. Flora went behind her and pulled her hair, go away!! She shouted and kicked her. Irene too joined and they started beating her up.

I was about going to interfere but stopped when I saw Stephanie do just what I had expected.

I couldn’t help but laugh when saw her beat them up with a belt. Wonder where she got it from, it’s like she’d planned it.

The three friends ran off while she chased them till they got to the main compound where everyone would see them.

Tell me what I did to offend you, tell me why you choose to maltreat me because I’m poor. Tell me!!! Tell me!!! Tell me!!! She yelled while still beating them.

Students gathered around them Immediately and she didn’t hesitate to beat those that tried moving close to them.

The teachers came to interfere too but she threatened to beat anyone up.

Tell me why everyone in this school hate me because I’m a poor orphan. She said and continued beating the girls

Wow! She’s tied them together, how come I never saw that coming. I never knew she could be this angry and crazy too. I thought

Tell me why every student believes this school isn’t for we poor kids. I need an explanation.

I won’t stop until someone gives me an explanation… She said and beat them more.

Everyone feared her and no one dared to move closer because she looks nothing different from an angry demon

“It’s time I interfere” I said to myself and walked past the students. I stopped when I saw the school owner’s son walk up to her and held her hand when she was about wh¡pping them again.

She turned and gave him a slap but he didn’t budge. Let go of my hand, you think you can stop me from punishing them?

Didn’t every one including the teachers turn blind eyes to it when they were bullying me.

Let go off me now!!! She yelled

He held her two hands and hugged her.
