I got home.
I got into my room and was shocked to see rose there.
” WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING? I asked coldly.
I felt angry seeing her in my room.
Haven’t I warned her to stay her limit if she still wants to continue staying here?
She gasped shocked and turned.
” I..I..I…was..was…” She stuttered.
” Didn’t you hear what I said? I asked moving close to her slowly.
” Am…I…” She stuttered moving back slowly.
Her back hit the wall.
She stopped moving and shut her eyes tightly.
” What are you doing in here” I yelled.
” Am..am… sorry” she said frightened.
” Are you here to steal? I smirked.
She looked at me surprised.
” Talk’” I yelled.
” Am.. not..here to steal anything” she said.
” Then why are you in my room? Haven’t I warned you? I asked.
She shut her eyes and took a deep breathe.
” I actually saw your door opened so I decided to help you arrange your room” she said.
” Really? I asked.
She nodded her head with her eyes shut.
” Haven’t I warned you to stay in your limit? Did I ask for your help? I yelled.
She got scared.
” Am.. am.. sorry… please…” She stuttered.
” I should have known you to be a gold digger first you came in here in pretence to take care of my children.. you already gain their love and you think the next person is me right? I asked coldly.
She shook her head negatively.
” Really? Am sure you are in my room to steal.” I said.
” No” she said
” Tell me what do you want to steal I can just give it to you.. is it money? Jewelries or what? Tell me” I yelled.
She looked at me shocked.
” Tell me young woman” I yelled holding her arm.
She winced.
” You are hurting me” she said.
” Tell me” I yelled.
” Am not a thief and I didn’t come here for your money” she shouted.
I released her arm.
I arched my brow.
” I didn’t come here for you. I only came here because mum and dad wanted me to and am only here for the kids” she said p-nting.
” Really? I scoffed.
She nodded her head and cleaned the tears that welled up in her eyes.
I laughed.
” I know women like you. You are just here for luxury. I Know your parents don’t have what it takes to give you a good life then you decided to come here maybe you could get a chance with me” I yelled.
” You can’t say anything you want against me but I won’t tolerate a word against my parents” she said pointing a finger at me.
I laughed.
” Oh I see you are now brave right? You know I can ruin your miserable life within a seconds” I said.
She looked at me.
My phone rang.
I picked it up.
” Yes I will be there shortly”.
” Now leave my room” I yelled.
She scurried out.

I was only trying to help him but he insulted in instead.
He accused me of telling.
I didn’t know when the boldness came from but I can’t tolerate a word against my parents.
He doesn’t know them.
He doesn’t have to right to insult them.
I got into my room and fell on the bed.
I cried hærd.
Mum, dad why?
You hadn’t leave me I wouldn’t be here today?
I cried so hærd that I had no tears left.
I fell asleep.
I felt someone tapped me.
” Mum, mum wake up”
I opened my eyes and saw Mabel and Angel.
They are back from school already.
” You are back? I asked.
” Yes mum, we are back” Angel said with a smile.
” Mum, why are you sleeping? Mabel asked.
” Am just a bit tired”
” Sorry mum” angel said.
I smiled.
” Why are you calling me mum? I asked.
” Don’t you like us calling you mum? Angel asked with a sad face
” It’s nothing like that Angel it is okay if you call me mum but earlier this morning it was ma’am rose then at school it is mum.i just wanted why you decided to start calling me that” I said with a smile.
” Ever since you came here, you took care of us like our mum, you love us so much I know dad doesn’t like you but you still care for us like your own children” angel said.
I smiled.
,” You are just like a mum because it is only a mum who can do all what you are doing” Angel added.
” Even if dad doesn’t like you we won’t stop calling you mum because you are our mum” Mabel said.
A tear dropped from my eyes.
I smiled.
” Thanks so much angel , thank you Mabel” I said hugging them
” We love you mum” they said.
” I love you too” I said hugging them
” Now let’s go to your room” i said.
We got into the room and I arranged it.
We got down and ate some snacks.
We retired to the sitting room.
” How was school today? I asked.
” It was fine mum”
” Any assignment? I asked.
” Not yet mum, this is just the first day of resumption” angel said.
” Okay”

It is evening.. time for dinner.
” Girls I will like to make dinner now” I said standing up.
” Okay”
Nathaniel came in.
Our eyes met but I looked away.
” Dad, dad” the kids yelled running to him.
I walked away going into the kitchen.

I got home.
I met rose and the kids together at the sitting room.
She stood up.
Our eyes met but she looked away.
“I shouldn’t have spoken to her in that manner” i thought.
I sighed.
” Dad Dad” the kids yelled running to me.
I smiled at them.
Rose walked away.
I squat to their level.
” How are you doing? I asked.
” Fine dad” Angel said.
Mabel nodded her head.
” Dad let me help you with this” Angel said pointing at my briefcase.
I gave it to her.
” Lets go your room” Mabel said.
I smiled and carried her.
We got into my room.
I dropped Mabel on the bed.
” How was school today? I asked unbottoning my shirt.
” It’s was fine dad” Angel said smiling.
” Okay” i said.
Angel picked up Sara little picture frame beside the bed staring at it.
” I missed you” she said.
” I missed her too” I said.
She dropped it and smiled at me.
” Dad when will you get a new mom for us? Mabel asked.
I looked at her surprised.
” New mum? I arched my brow.
” Yes dad” Angel said.
” Dad we are tired of living without a mum, we need a new mum” angel said while Mabel nodded her head.
” I need to take a shower now” i said heading to the bathroom.
I sighed.
” My kids wants a new mum.
They have never told me to get a new mum for them before
Could this be rose idea?
It’s better not be her idea of telling my kids that I should get them a new Mom.
Maybe I could marry her.
No one can ever take Sara’s place.
I freshened up and changed into my night wear.
My kids are not in,side anymore.
I need some drinks.
I got down and met them all at the dinning.
Rose wasn’t eating. She was staring at the food with a sad expression.
What’s is wrong with her?
Is she hurt with what I told her?
But if she wasn’t stealing then why is she is my room in the name of arranging my room.
But what if she is just arranging it?
” Is something wrong? Angel asked.
She smiled” not really angel”
” But you are not eating” Angel said.
” I just don’t feel like eating but I will eat little of it” she said.
Angel nodded her head.
She looked up and our eyes met.
She looked away.
Angel sighted me standing.
” Das please come and have dinner with us” she said.
” No Angel, am here to get some drinks” i said.
” Please dad” Mabel pouted.
” No Mabel, I have some work to do in my room”
” You don’t love us dad” Angel said frowning.
” I love you” i said.
” If you love us then eat with us” Mabel said
I looked at them then rose.
She was looking at the kids.
I sighed.
” Okay I will” I said.
I sat down with them.
Rose stood up and dished out the food for me.
I started eating.
For real the food is delicious.
She is sure a good cook.
” How is the food dad? Angel asked.
I looked at her then rose, she wasn’t even looking my direction.
She just fixed her gaze on the food without eating.
Is she lost in thought?
What is she thinking?
Part of me felt bad for insulting her but she doesn’t have the right to go into my room without my permission.
” Talk dad” Mabel said jerking me out of my thoughts.
“Hmmmmm….it tastes good” I said.
Angel smiled widely.
She looked at rose then me.
She and Mabel looked at each other then hit their palms together.
I looked at them.
I ate the food and retired to my room.
” Sara, I missed you and the kids missed you too” i said staring at her picture.
” Your kids are asking for a new mum, Angel and Mabel wants a new mum, what do you want me to do? I asked looking at her picture.
” No one can ever take your place Sara, no one” I said kssing her picture.

I couldn’t eat the food I prepared.
I just lost appetite for it.
All what Nathaniel said to me earlier in the morning left me thinking.
If only my parents didn’t die I won’t be here working and receiving insult but am glad am here to fill the mother love in the kids heart.
Nathaniel ate the food with us.
He likes it though..
“Hmmmmm…it’s tastes good” what he said made me smile .
I cleared the dished.
I put the kids to bed and retired to my room.
I fell on the bed and slept off.

I woke up and freshened up.
I prepared breakfast.
I got to the kids room.
They are awake already.
I smiled.
” Good morning mum” they greeted.
I smiled”.
” Good morning, i hope you slept well? I asked.
They nodded their head.
” Okay then let’s freshen up” i said.
I got them ready for school.
” Mum, we want to see dad” Angel said.
I nodded my head heading downstairs.

” Niel, for how long do you want to continue living like this? Sara asked.
” For as long as I can Sara” i said.
” No Niel, you need to let’s go and forget about me” Sara said.
” I love you Sara”
” I know you love me but we can’t be together anymore” she said.
” Sara”
” Please Niel you are hurting yourself you are hurting our kids as well” she said.
” Sara”
” Niel please you have to forget about me.. please let’s go of my death..please Niel..you need to start living a normal life like when we met each other”
” But it is not easy as you think Sara”
” I know but you have to make it easy, please Niel, please forget about me”
” Why don’t you just take me with you” i said.
” No Niel, the kids needs you, everyone needs you”
” I love you Sara”
” I love you too Niel.. but we can’t be together anymore. Say hi to our kids” she said moving away.
” Sara, Sara…” I shouted.
She waved at me smiling.
” Sara please don’t leave me” I yelled.
She vanished into a thin air.

I felt someone tapping me shouting.
I opened my eyes.
” Dad” Angel called.
I looked around the room.
Sara’s appearance was all a dream.
It was all a dream?
Sara told me to let’s go of her.
I should forget about her?
” Dad what’s wrong? Angel asked looking at me strangely.
I looked at her then Mabel.
” Good morning Dad” Mabel asked.
I kssed their foreheads.
Tear dropped from my eyes.
” Dad? Angel called.
I looked at her.
” What happened? She asked.
” It’s nothing” i said.
” Okay then we wants to have our breakfast now, see you later dad” they said and walked out of the room.
I sighed.
I took Sara’s picture.
” Sara, I can’t let’s go of you” i Said kssing her picture.
Episode 12.

It’s been a while since Sara’s appearance in my dream.
I tried not to think of what she said.
It’s weekend today.
I sat down Working on the system.
I will be traveling out of the country for an important business deal.
I don’t need to worry much about the kids rose is here to take proper care of them.
My kids came in.
I smiled.
” Hi Daddy” Angel said.
” How are you doing? I asked.
” We are fine dad” Mabel said.
” Okay” i said concentrating on the system.
” Dad” Angel called.
I looked at her.
They looked at each other then me.
“What do you want? I asked.
” Dad, there will be a meeting in our school next week” Angel said.
” Okay” I said
“Didn’t the school sent a text to you? Angel asked.
” Check your phone Dad” Mabel said.
I checked my phone and saw a text from their school.
It is a meeting for parents and teachers.
” Parents teachers forum? I asked.
They nodded their heads.
” Don’t worry about it, I will get it settled” i said.
” Are you coming? Mabel beamed.
” No, I won’t be coming” i said.
” Why? They asked sadly.
” I will be traveling out of the country” i said.
” But dad”
” Am really sorry Angel” i apologized.
“Grandma has been the one coming for the meeting ever since Mom left but now grandma has travelled. Why can’t you just come?
” But it is not necessary that am there” I said.
” But we want you there” Mabel said.
” Am sorry. I can’t be there” I said.
” You don’t love us dad” Mabel pout
I sighed.
” Of course I love you” i said.
” Then come to our school” she said.
” Mabel I have an important business trip to attend so I will be travelling next week” I said.
” Important? Much more important than us? Angel arched her brow.
I sighed.
” Please try to understand Angel I..
” No dad, you should understand us just come please, you won’t stay too long” she said.
” No Angel am sorry” i said.
” You don’t love us dad, you don’t even care about us.. it is all about you” she yelled.
I sighed.
” Am sorry but I will ask rose to go along with you” I said.
” But we also want you to come along” Mabel said.
” Am sorry Mabel..maybe some other time” i Said.
Angel looked at me then walked out of the room.
I sighed.
” Mabel please try to understand” i said.
” But dad, you won’t stay long” she said.
” Our friends are coming with their parents so we want you there also” she said.
I sighed.

I sat down in my room writing in my diary.
The door opened.
Angel came in crying.
I dropped the diary.
“What’s wrong? I asked.
She continued crying.
She sat down beside me crying.
I hugged her.
” Shhhuusshhhh it’s okay,” i said patting her.
I looked at her and cleaned her tears.
” Tell me why are you crying?
” Dad.. Dad doesn’t love us” she said.
“Why did you say so? I asked.
” He doesn’t want to come to a meeting at our school”she said.
” A meeting? I asked
” Yes mum. It is holding next week” she said.
” Okay so why didn’t he want to come? I asked.
” He said he has a very important business trip to attend much more important than us” she said crying.
” It’s okay Angel, is that why you are crying? I asked cleaning her tears.
She nodded her head.
” Mum, Dad loves his business more than us, he is traveling out of the country” she said.
” Sorry Angel”.
” He doesn’t want to come” she said.
” Is it important that he must be there? I asked.
” Not really mum, but we want him there” she said.
” It’s okay Angel please don’t cry anymore” I said.
” Mum please can you help us talk to Dad? She asked.
I looked at her surprised.

I sighed.

” Really? They beamed.
” Yes I will” i smiled.

I really felt bad seeing my kids sad.
But I can’t go for the meeting.
I just hope they understand.
I didn’t mean to hurt their feelings.
I heard a Knock on my door.
” Who is knocking?
My kids don’t knock while coming in.
Who could it be?
There is no one here except I, rose and the kids.
I heard the knock again.
I got up and opened the door.
I saw rose standing.
I looked at her but she was staring at her feet.
” What do you want? I asked
She looked up.
” Hmmmmm…I..I…want to talk you” she said.
I looked at her.
” You want to talk to me? I asked.
She nodded her head.
I opened the door widely for her to enter.
She got in,side.
” So tell me what do you want? I asked.
” I… I… want..to..to” she stuttered.
” Can’t you just talk? I asked.
She cleared her throat.
” Actually I want to talk to you about about the kids” she said.
” What about them? I asked.
” They said there will be a meeting at the school” she said.

” So they want you to be present there” she said not looking at me.
