❤️Episode 19❤️

Continuation from the last episode
The team congratulated themselves. Hurray!
Not long, the stadium was empty as students had gone after congratulating the Red Tiger Team and having a handshake with them.
Kalila insisted they stayed back as she wanted to meet Nicole. Meanwhile, both had gotten fond and felt attracted to each other.
Jason, Nicole and Charles walks into the stadium back refreshed, Nicole sighted Kalila.

“Hey!” He said referring to Kalila as she smiled. He leaves his friends and walks to meet her .
“Congratulations” Kalila uttered as she hold hands with Nicole who smiles brightly back at her.
Diana smiles seeing both Nicole and Kalila “Awwwn they look sweet together”
Roseanna smiles too and steps backwards but bumps into Jason. She turned and looks
at him but a smile came over his lips which made Roseanna shy as she lowers her head.
“Congratulations” She told him shyly. She looks at him again as both stares into each other eyes.
“And thank you for saving me again!” Roseanna says smiling which Jason returns.
Charles clears his throat “Mmnn, umm, why don’t we go to cool off for a while to celebrate our win and for ending this year semester?” He suggested.
Nicole agrees which Jason nods his head too in agreement. Nicole invites Kalila and her friends which too she agrees .
“Kalila!” Roseanna calls out, disagreeing with her.
“Are you coming?” Jason asks Roseanna who looks away.
“She is coming, we can’t leave her alone?” Diana interjects and nudge at Roseanna who looks at her. Diana rolls her eyes and giggles.
“Okay, since we all agree , we should start going?”

The six of them walks over to Jason’s Hyundai Santa Fe Car. Jason takes the driver seat, while Charles sat opposite.
Kalila looks at Roseanna and knew she didn’t want to come along. “It’s just an eatery okay, you will be fine…”
Roseanna sighs as Kalila too enters, she follows suit. Charles reminds them to put on their seat belt. Soon enough, Jason starts the ignition and drives out.
They chatted among themselves with Diana talking most among the girls. Roseanna couldn’t follow with their discussion and ends up picking her fingers.

Jason drives in and packs his car. They all alighted the car with their unending discussion. They walk into the restaurant and orders for a table with six chairs before picking their menu.

Nicole and Kalila decides to stroll around and Charles and Diana too follow.
“Hey” Charles says to Diana who looks at him as they walk.
“Hello” Diana replied smiling.
“To be sincere, you are jovial and free than your friends, why?”
“I don’t know… You too, you are outgoing and friendly” Diana commented.
“Anyways, I didn’t properly introduce myself, well I am Charles Gator and you?”
“I am Diana Petersburg…”. There the conversation started between them.

Episode 20

Seems everyone had paired themselves up, Roseanna and Jason were left alone.
Not sure of whom to start the conversation, they kept on staring at themselves and look away.
“You didn’t move out with your friends?” Jason managed to say.
Roseanna smiles,” Neither you too”
Jason breathes in, “Based on what had happened last time, did you find out who was behind such?”
“No, not at all. I couldn’t even figure out who…”
Jason adjusts his chair closer as he tried to think. “Do you have a problem with anyone or do someone dislike you?”
Roseanna looks at him but kept quiet, how would she tell him who actually dislikes her, perhaps his girlfriend. Rather, she kept mute.
“Uhm… I am sorry if I had tried to get into your personal space but anyways… Jason implies though sincerely needing an answer from her.
Roseanna blinks her eyes several times in a second and then looks away.
Jason sensed her hiding something, “Just say it out” Hd insisted.
Roseanna looks at him and breathes in deeply. “Mmnn.. actually… it’s… Starlet”.

Jason surprised by her sentence, needed more clarity as he cocked his ear to listen.
“I don’t have a problem with her or anyone but the truth is that, she dislikes me”.
Jason eyes lit up, with his forehead puckered and his eyebrows raised. “How? I mean do you know her from somewhere?” Jason asks confused yet surprised.
Roseanna nods, “Yeah, she has been my classmate since childhood. Actually, we met at Grade 7” Roseanna responded.
Feeling safe with him a little bit, she narrates a little of her trouble with Starlet.
“…. I am sorry if I had caused you any inconveniences particularly about Starlet”
“Ohh, it nothing… I understand.” Jason utters, shocked by the behavior of Starlet. He knew Starlet never liked her but he never knew it had gone this way!
Roseanna and Jason talks for a while as both had and shared most things in common.
Soon later, everyone returned and they decides to leave. Heading back to the car, they all enter. Jason starts the ignition and drives out.

“Ohh, least I forget Rosie, remember on Wednesday is your …” Roseanna sighs and gives her a nudge discontinuing her sentence.
“What’s happening on Wednesday?” Charles ask curious.
Understanding why Roseanna had nudged at her, she diverts from what she intended to say. “Actually…I mean… the session is ending… this Friday and we wish… to celebrate it amongst ourselves and…” Diana stammers while changing the topic.
Jason had seen from the rear mirror when Roseanna had nudged at Diana to keep quiet, he knew it had something to do with her. He sighs and continues driving.

At Starlet House
Starlet is seated in the sofa in her room and was quite. All these while she had never written any of her exams just a few papers and she sure, if care wasn’t taken she would repeat back 100 level again.
She sighs, picking up her phone, she calls Alvin who didn’t pick the call.

Few minutes later, Alvin calls back. “Hello?”
“Alvin! Can please do me a favor?” She pleaded.
“Sure, go on, what can’t I do for you, my shining star?” He replies.
“My… Papers” She paused and continues, seeing Alvin was listening. “I mean, I missed most of my papers, can you please talk to your father In making me move to the next class? ” she requested.
Alvin smirks, ” I will… but remember… nothing comes for nothing!” Alvin says and hangs up the call.
Starlet sighs as she drops her phone. She knew what Alvin meant but she had to agree. What can she do?

Episode 21

Few days has passed. Jason is seen, sitting on a chair with his hands running on his computer, making a purchase online.
Nicole holding a cup of water, gently taps him. “Hey dude, you’ve been on that computer for a while now, what’s up?”
Jason doesn’t reply as he completed his order. Nicole peeps in and smiles.
“Ohh, woah… you purchased these all for Starlet?” He asks.
Not listening to what he had just said, Jason shuts down his computer and stands up. Walking out of the room, be goes down to the sitting room.
Sitting on a comfy couch, he takes his phone from his jeans. He smiles.

Flashback****
Jason drives the three friends to their hostel as each alighted the car, but he holds back Diana.
“You were saying something in the car before Roseanna hit you, why did she do that?” Jason asks.
Diana pretends not to remember as she looks aside as if to think.
“I can’t remember what I had said, like?”
Seeing she was actually hiding something, he decides to make her remember.
“You told Roseanna to remember that Wednesday was her…?”
“Did I say something like that?” Diana interjects still pretending not to remember.

“Come off it, just stop pretending. It really get me pissed”
“Oo, So.r..r…y” she paused and looks at him. “Okay, the truth is that, Roseanna’s birthday is on Wednesday and we plan to surprise her that day. So I was just kinda reminding her though…”
“Okay… Sorry if I bothered you so much…” Jason replies
Diana smiles, ” There’s no problem with that… but… why do you ask?”
“Nothing… really… never mind”. Jason says preventing further more questions, he quickly walks to his car.
” Okay… Till then” he says entering the car.
Flashback End****
Jason smiled and rested his body more to a comfortable position and falls asleep with smile plastered on his face.

Wednesday;
At the Hostel
Roseanna slowly opens her eyes, rubbing it gently.
“Ohh, I woke up late!” She exclaims, seeing the curtain already rolled up. She springs out from the bed, stretching her body a little.
“Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday…” Diana and Kalila sang approaching her smiling.
Roseanna sparkles as she beams with smiles. Her beatific smile lit up the room, surprised by their actions. “Woah… Thank you…”
“Wish you all the best Rosie” Kalila said putting her hands on Roseanna’s chin.
Knock Knock
“Who is that?” Diana asks as she faces the door where the knock was heard.

Knock knock
Kalila shrugs her shoulder while Diana turns to open the door.
“How may I help you” Diana asks the delivery guy who stood at the door.
“Someone said I should hand over these to… Uhm… Roseanna” He replies handing the gift box to her.
Roseanna who stood behind the door stares at Kalila with a raised eyebrows then to the delivery guy. “I don’t understand?”
“Umm… Thank you…” Diana says thanking him while taking the box from his hands as he intends to go.
“One more thing, he said I should wish you a happy birthday”.
Roseanna widens her eyes in surprise as stares clueless at him. “He?”
Before she could get her answer, he had left. She faces Kalila who just shrugs her shoulder.
“Diana, you shouldn’t have collected it. I mean, you don’t know who sent it or do you?” Roseanna uttered.
“Well, it’s actually for your birthday, so it could be nothing wrong…”
“Well, it could be…” Roseanna cuts her in.
