OH MY HEART (ROSEANNA)

Chapter 67
Continuation from the last chapter;
Camilla’s heart skipped a beat as they both breath the same air.
Jason looked deeply into her eyes as the music went on, he pulls her closer that their heart beats mutually and rhythmically. His gaze made her uncomfortable that she looked away.
He held her by the waist as they danced but Camilla stiffed her body to avoid any form of romane nor emotion.
“Why are you doing this to me…?” He asks in whispers but Camilla doesn’t reply.
“Rose-anna…”
Camilla’s glared at him, “How many times do I have to tell you that I am not Roseanna!.. I don’t even know you… Stop mistaking me for someone else!!” She blurted out, stopping the dance as she walked backwards.
“I’m sorry… I admit that I have wronged you in so many ways… I’ve hurt you… caused you pains and betrayal… Please find a place in your heart to forgive me… Please…!” Jason pleaded.
“I’m sorry Mr. Man… You’re totally mistaken!!”
Jason tries to come closer to her but each time he walked, she moved some steps backward.
“Don’t you dâre move an inch any further!… If you do… You might regret talking to me!!” She said in a teary voice as her voice betrays her. She lets out a hot sigh as tears filled up in her eyes.
Jason retreated backwards still looking at her. He couldn’t believe what was happening, his heart really hurts so badly… Roseanna was totally cold towards him. She didn’t even show any sign of feeling neither was she ready to talk with him.
“Camilla…” He calls out once again.
Camilla had tried her best concealing the tears in her eyes and when she could no longer hold it, she ran out of there.
Jason closes his eyes and for the first time, hot tears raced down his cheek as he squeezes his hand into a fist. Camilla manner and attitude towards him was far worse than a heartbreak.

Camilla ran into her room and slammed the door behind her as she fell to the floor crying. At this point, her heart too could break.
She had felt his pain and felt sorry for him.
“How long am gonna keep on acting this way…?” She sniffs.

{Flashes}
‘He only helped you due to you condition at that point and requested that immediately you’re awake… He wouldn’t want to see your face ever again!”
******
{Reality}
Camilla’s recalls those words and her heart squeezed in pain not for him again but out of anger…
She daps off her tears and took a deep breath.
“I think I have has enough of being too emotional… I guess you never wanted me in your life… Jason… Definitely… I will stay out of it permanently.”
{Few Months Later}
“Mummy!!” Kiara calls as she runs into the room with her uniform on.
“Good morning angel… How are you?” Camilla who is already dressed up in a chic office dress pecks her daughter on her forehead.
“I’m fine…” Kiara answers and walks towards her.
“Mom… I want to go out on a picnic with you this weekend..!”
“Not this weekend darling… We went out barely a week ago…!” Camilla says brushing her weavy hair backwards.
Kiara forms a pretty pout looking at her mom.
Camilla turns to her daughter but sees she wasn’t happy, she lowers herself to Kiara’s level, smiling.
“The picnic right?” She asks while Kiara’s nods.
Camilla sighs, nodding her head.
“Okay… If it’s what would make you happy… There is no problem… We’ll go for a picnic this weekend..!”
“Really??” Kiara asks grinning gummily.
“Yes!” Camilla uttered as she playfully pulls her cheek.
Kiara pulls in for a hug which her mother warmly accepted.

“Com’on Kiara… Hurry up… Let’s leave for school” Andrea calls out to little Kiara as she searched round the rooms.
Kiara hears her grandma calling her and she hid behind her mother.
“Catch ya!!” Andrea says as she walked into Camilla’s room, smiling brightly.
“I knew you’d be here…” She says walking over to meet her.
Instead Kiara runs round her mother chuckling and giggling.
Andrea sighs, “Not again Kiara… Or you would be late to school…! Would you like to put your grandma into stress?”
Kiara stops running and stands, ” No granny…”
Andrea smiles, “Good! Now it’s time to get going…” She said holding her hand tenderly.
” See you later Kiara…!”
“You too mummy…”

{Unique Glamorous Lush Company}
The boards of directors and members are holding up a meeting up the board with Camilla being at the head.
Each members were a time to give let out their opinions. Jason too was present as part of the branding company.
He started with the need for his product to be listed among the catalog as a top goods as demanded by the consumers.
Most members agreed with him but the decision and conclusion was to be made by Camilla.
“I’m happy for all those who shared their opinions and points of view…” She paused, adjusting herself properly on the seat before taking the mini phone off the table.
“You all are aware that a product must be among a top choice of the consumers before having or appearing in the business catalog.
She looks at Jason and smiles sardonically before turning back to the other colleagues.
“Yes… Mr Jason and his company has tried during the last few months… but he displayed lack of efficiency which caused a fall in the economic statistics of the company… You gotta just gonna have to work more better and achieve higher efficiencies…

Jason stopped Camilla half tracked on the stairs. He glared at her though in a calm state…
“Why do you always reject my business proposal?… This is not the first time nor the second time, you’re doing this… No matter how hard…”
” Exactly… No matter how hard… It’s only goods or products listed by the consumers as top notches that will be available in the catalog…”
“But …”
Excuse me… Mr. Jason!… Please I have other important plans to attend to…” She said turning to walk away.

{Camilla’s Office}
Camilla is seen going through some documents and signing in on the ones that are meant to be signed.
Her PA walks into the office and hands over to her a paper.
‘House For Sale’ was written at the top of it. Going over and reading the paper, she smiles.
The PA sees her boss smiling and was forced to ask what was the matter.
“It is actually nothing…” Camilla said and looks at the lady in front of her.
“When did this post come out?”
“Two days ago ma’am”.
Camilla nods her head, ” House for sale for $200,000… Hmm…” Shd muttered taping the tip of her finger on the table, thinking on what next to do.
“Get me my lawyer!”

{Starlet House}
” Why did you put the house up for sale…??” Alicia asks angrily as she walks into the room.
Starlet was seated on the bed puffing out the smoke out of her lips and taking in some alcohol.
“Starlet!” Alicia yells as Starlet wasn’t even listening to her.
“Why do they sell something… In exchange for money right?” She answered herself while she drops the alcohol on the nearby stool.
“Alicia… I had to put the house for sale because… I want money… I mean take a look around… We are staying in a big for nothing house and we are not gaining anything from it!”
” At least… We have a roof under our head!!” Alicia mentioned.
” A house without food, uh? A house without dresses and entertainment… I can’t even move out again… My dresses are outdated!!” Starlet said as she picks up a piece of her clothes which was messed up on the floor.
” But Starlet…”
“Don’t worry… Little cousin… I put the house for sale on a high price and come to think of it… The house is big enough and spacious… It has swimming pool, a game lawn…”
Alicia tired of hearing Starlet bragging, sighs and walks out of the room.
Starlet hissed, “There are a lot of things I would do… If I actually sell this house… I will first of all… Buy a smaller house… Go for shopping to buy some few things, then others would follow suit.
The door bell rang and Starlet quickly rushes downstairs, getting to the door before Alicia and opened it.
“How may I help you?” She asked the man on suit, standing outside.
“Hello… I’m a lawyer and my client saw your house listed for sale few days ago and says she is interested in buying it…”
” Even at my price?” Starlet asks grinning widely.
” Yes… And she asked if it was possible to buy the house at the moment?”
” Why not?… But why isn’t she here… At least she could have a look of the house… I’m sure that she would like it”
” She would have loved to come though but she is presently on a tight schedule…” The lawyer said palming his head.
Starlet nods her head, her palms starts to itch her as she thought of the money that was going to be paid.
The lawyer brings out a document and hands it over to her..
“Take… Sign this!”
Starlet gladly signs it and hands it back to him.
“Uhm… She will come herself to meet you before she pays you the money…” The lawyer said.
” There is certainly no problem with that.. ”

The lawyer leaves and heads over to his car. He took out his phone from his pocket and dialled Camilla’s number.
“She accepted and signed it ma’am…”
Camilla smiles over the phone and thanks her lawyer.
“Starlet is gonna be sure too surprised of what may befall her soon…!!”

{Connor’s House}
” Jason… Do you really think that you would be able to cope with the business or handle the company?” Carolina, Jason’s mom asks. She was really bothered about her son and also the company which seems stagnant.
Jason quietness wasn’t even helping matters.
“Jason… I’m talking to you! The company is not progressing at all!!”
That really got Jason as he stares at his mother.
“Do you think that it’s actually my fault?” He glowered.
” How isn’t it your fault? Since you…”
” Mom!…” Jason yells totally pissed off.
” Mom, I’ve tried my best and I have being trying all I can but she doesn’t want to listen!!”
” She?… I thought Alicia is not the real daughter of Brandon?” Carolina asks surprised.
” Exactly!! It’s… Roseanna! First of all… She denies ever knowing me and then she is on all fours to make me get frustrated!!” He lashes out as his eyebrows creased forming vertical wrinkles on his forehead, he was definitely angry.
“Roseanna?… I thought… She was…”
Jason sighs, ” Nevermind mom”
” But son…”
“Mom… Don’t worry about me… I will have to handle things myself…!”

{Starlet House}
It’s late in the afternoon as it was already getting to evening. The weather was gloomy above the sky, signaling that the rain was just about to fall.
Cold chill breeze begins to blow while little droplets of rain starts to shower.
Alicia and Starlet are seated outside of the house, patiently waiting for the buyer of the house to arrive as it was agreed for that day.
Soon a flashy black car drives into the house and packed to a halt with a screeching sound.
Three men alighted the car first of all and one of them goes over to the back door and opens it.
Starlet looks eagerly with curiousity to see who was it.
Camilla steps her foot outside and slowly pull the other foot, she gracefully alight the car, finally revealing her face.
Starlet stares slack jawed, totally dumbstruck with whom she was seeing.
“Rose…Anna?”
