AUTHORESS P.O.V

“I’m making my findings tomorrow, can’t wait to have Rowen to myself again,” Dora said and burst into a hèll of laughter.

“That îdiot dare drag my man with me, I’ll deal with that îdiot, I’m using her friend to get her, am I not wonderful?” Dora asked herself.

Stanley walked to his room and look around the room.

“Where’s the so-called fiance?” He asked no one in particular and a lady came out from the bathroom.

“What! What are you doing here?” Stanley asked trying hærd not to yell at her.

“Stanley I came to see you, stop pretending as if you aren’t happy to see me,” the lady said.

“Vera gets out when I’m still nice,” Stanley said with a frown and Vera moved closer to him s-ductively and placed her hand on his chest.

“You can’t resist me can you?” Vera asked rolling her hand on his chest.

“I can resist you and I’m doing that right now!” Stanley said.

“Common Stanley, it hurt when I see that you don’t love me like a do,” Vera said.

“You should read the handwriting on the wall Vera, we are just friends, I took you as a friend, or is it a crime to have a female friend?” Stanley asked.

“It’s not a crime, but I’m In love with me, consider me please I’ve been living with this love since our high school days,” Vera said.

“Vera I can’t give you what you want back I didn’t love you, you’re a beautiful girl Vera, you’ll see someone better, just forget about me and move on with your life, stop throwing yourself cheaply at me, I’m sorry if I hurt you with my words,” Stanley said.

“Stanley please give me a chance I promise to make you love me,” Vera said.

Stanley gently removed her hand from his chest and sat on the bed.

“Leave now!” Stanley said and Vera sat beside him.

“Please I love you!” Vera said with a frown.

“If you love me, you’ll love my happiness, my happiness will be your priority, I don’t love you, I’ll be very happy if you let me be,” Stanley said.

“Alright, I’m very sorry for stalking you, I’m sorry for throwing myself cheapishly at you, I won’t bother you again I’m sorry,” Vera said and burst into tears.

She picked up her bag from the nightstand and glanced at Stanley before walking out.

“I’m very sorry if I hurt you with my word” Stanley said and stood up from the bed.

EMMA P.O.V

Looking at my reflection in the mirror I must say Brittany and Nadia really do a great job, I don’t really know why I wanna look good this evening.

I don’t know why I’m so considerate about my look, but I hope this isn’t what Brittany and Nadia are talking about.

It can’t be I can’t fall in love, no way.

“How do I look?” I asked Brittany and she smiled at me.

“You look breathe taking, Rowen won’t be able to take his eyes off you, you are beautiful my darling,” she said and I blushed hærd.

“someone is blushing, we can’t wait to have one of the biggest restaurants to ourselves,” Brittany said with a smile.

“What did you mean?” I asked with a frown because I’m not getting what she was saying. “Have you forgotten about the bet?” She asked with a frown.

“oh my goodness, I totally forget that I have a bet with this f00l I call a friend” I said with a frown and she left out a smirk.

“I can’t wait to become rich,” Nadia said dreamingly.

“You guys are cràzy I’m going to the living room,” I said and stood up from the dressing chair and the both of them burst into laughter.

“You guys should keep crying,” I said.

“We aren’t crying we are laughing at how you’re gonna lose to us,” Brittany said, that dèvîl, I’ll show her that she’s wrong.

AUTHORESS P.O.V

“You’re nervous,” Rowen said. “Sure I’m, I’m very sure she will send me back” Austin replied with a smile.

“Common, she can’t do anything to you” Rowen replied.

“I pray so, that lady is a psycho,” Austin said and Rowen placed a knock on the door, Emma rushed to open the door and smile out immediately she saw Rowen.

“Hi!” Austin greets with a smile and Emma rolls her eyes at him before hitting him slightly on his chest.

“How are you handsome?” Emma asked. “Ouch! She called me handsome!” Austin said happily.

“Sure you’re handsome” Emma replied.

“My wife has never told me that before,” Austin said.

“Oh, you’re married!” Emma said with a smile. “Yes I’m married to Rowen,” Austin said with a smile and Emma burst into laughter.

“You’re very funny, come in,side please,” Emma said.

“I’m not joking he’s truly my wife, we married Some years ago,” Austin said.

“Oh happy married life, but I don’t know Rowen to be gay,” Emma said and Austin sat on a chair.

“A gay? Did Rowen look like a guy?” Austin asked.

“Sure he’s a guy” Emma replied with a smile.

“I don’t know why you aren’t seeing what I’m actually seeing, Rowen isn’t a guy, he’s a woman,” Austin said.

“I gave up, I brought this cake for you,” Austin said and handover the cake to Emma.

“Oh my goodness! Vanilla cake, I’m getting married to you right away” Emma shouted and Rowen hissed out loud.

“I told you he’s a woman, imagine him getting jèàlóûs of me,” Austin said.

“It’s normal” Emma replied and Nadia clear her throat.

“We are human,” Nadia said with a frown.

“Wow this beautiful woman is angry,” Austin said.

“we are sorry,” Rowen said with a smile.

“Babe you’re looking more beautiful today,” Rowen said with a smile.

“She did that for you” Brittany replied and look away.

“Don’t tell me you’re trying to s-duce my wife” Austin said.

“Your wife?” Emma asked.

“Yes, I told you Rowen is my wife” Austin replied and Emma hissed out loud.

“I brought food for you,” Rowen said and dropped the food on the table.

“Oh my goodness you are so sweet,” Emma said and hug Rowen to herself.

“Where are we going tonight?” Emma asked. “Any place of your choice” Rowen replied.

“Are you sure?” Emma asked.

“Hundred percent sure!” Rowen replied.

“We are going to the club!” Emma whispered to Rowen.

“Anything for you!” Rowen said.

“His he going with us?” Emma asked.

“He won’t if you don’t want him to” Rowen replied.

“he can come with us he won my heart with this cake,” Emma said and went to sit on Rowen’s lap and Rowen smile out happily.

“Should I feed you or you’re eating with your friends?” Rowen asks and Emma does some thinking.

“Feed me, Nadia and Brittany will eat together” Emma replied.

“Yes we will eat together” Brittany replied with a smile.

“Did you like my dressing?” Emma asked turning around.

“Sure I did, it’s beautiful and it looks more beautiful on you” Rowen replied. “so there’s no need for me to change let’s go!” Emma said.

“I’m not going with you guys,” Brittany said. “Why?” Emma asked “you don’t need to know you aren’t my mother” Brittany replied with an eye roll.

“Nadia, are you going with us?” Emma asked. “Sure I can’t miss it for anything” Nadia replied. “Make sure you caption every moment,” Brittany said and walked to her room.

“She told me she’s going out, so let’s go,” Nadia said. “We are going in my car,” I said.

“No let’s go with my bike,” Rowen said with a pout. “I’m not going again,” Emma said.

“I was joking we are going with your car,” Rowen said and Emma left out a smile.

EMMA P.O.V

“We are here!” Rowen said and rushed ri open the car door for him.

“Stop doing like a gentleman,” I said and k×ssed him slightly on his l-ips.

“Huh, that’s cheating,” Rowen said with a frown. “No complain,” I said and get out of the car.

I saw someone at a corner, he was busy looking at us and he asks a mask on, I have a feeling that that person is here for me.

I take slow strides towards the person’s direction and the person picks a race. I put on my heel and run after the person. “Emma!” I heard Rowen call.

Episode 32

EMMA P.O.V

I must find out the person that’s trailing after me.

How dare the person! I target the person’s leg and throw my shoe at him.

He fall flatly on the floor and I rushed to his side.

I kicked him hærd on his tummy and he grunt in pain.

“Who are you?” I asked still kicking his Tommy. “You really don’t know who I’m?” The f00l replied.

The voice sounds very familiar.

I tried to remove his mask but he struggle with me I guess he was not with a gun.

I kicked him on his d×¢k and he let go of my hand.

I removed the mask and I came face to face with Leo.

This îdiot, he finally find me, I underrated him. “Leo!” I called and he left out a smirk.

“Who’s he?” Rowen asks immediately he get to my side.

“He’s a friend” I replied Rowen.

“Why will I be surprised to see an anîmal like you, what are you doing here?” I asked angrily because I’m losing my patience right now.

“I told you I’ll get you, I’m only keeping to my promise” Leo replied and I left out a smirk.

“You know me too well Leo, if my parents heard about this, or you tell them about my location consider yourself dèàd, you know what I can do and I’m very sure you won’t dare me!” I said with a smirk and he burst into laughter.

“I’m not ready to tell your parents, but I’ll tell them if you didn’t cooperate with me,” Leo said.

This guy is seriously getting on my nerves, Rowen walked to his bed to his level.

“What did you want from my woman?” Rowen asks with a frown.

“Your woman? Emma your woman this is funny” Leo said and burst into laughter.

“Talk when I’m still nice what did you want from her?” Rowen ask and Leo pushed him on his nose.

“Oh my goodness!” I said and rushed to Rowen side.

“Are you okay?” I asked Rowen and he nod his head.

I moved closer to Leo and started throwing pushes at him.

How dare he hurt Rowen!. “Emma that’s enough, let me deal with him,” Rowen said with a smile.

“Can you?” I asked surprised.

“Sure I can, just watch me” Rowen replied. “Gosh! This guy wants my wife to show him the stuff he is made of!” Austin lament, is this guy always like this?, He’s very funny, he takes everything as joke.

Rowen moved closer to Leo again and dragged him up with his collar.

“How dare you punched me with this filthy hand of yours!” Rowen said and throw two pushes on his face.

“Oh my goodness!” He kicked him on his stomach and he fall to his knees.

Rowen punched him on his knees again and blood gush out from his nose.

“Oh my goodness! I never knew Rowen is strong like this!” I said out loud.

“my wife is very strong” Austin replied.

“Please stop Rowen, Rowen is gonna kîll him” Nadia shouted.

Nadia is very right, I moved closer to Rowen and placed my hand on his shoulder.

“Should I stop?” Rowen asks and I nod my head.

“I hope I don’t see you again,” I said to Leo. “You’ll see me tomorrow, Emma I want you and I’ll have you” Leo replied.

“Why will you even want me? Am I the only woman in the world, can’t you find someone else?” I asked angrily.

“I love you because you’re independent, you’re a king, I’ve watched you grow into a successful lady, I can’t lose you, if I don’t have you no one will,” he said and burst into laughter.

“Keep dreaming, because you can never have me! Let’s go” I said to Rowen and we all walked out of the scene.

I don’t even know if it’s a crime to be rich. “Being successful is a very big achievement, being the boss of your own, that’s why a saying says, run after money before running after men, I must make money, you’re my role model Emma?” Nadia said with a smile.

“Yeah! It’s good to be independent, some people date men because they don’t have a choice, they believe they’ll suffer if they didn’t date them, while some women were suffering in an abusive relationsh¡p because they believe they won’t survive without their husbands or spouse” I replied.

“You’re right my love” Rowen replied with a smile.

AUTHORESS P.O.V

“I need to pick this call!” Rowen said and try to leave.

“Hey who’s calling you? And why can’t you pick the call here?” Emma asked with a frown.

“Don’t tell me you’re jèàlóûs?” Rowen ask. “Why will I be jèàlóûs, we aren’t dating, or are we?” Emma asked.

“I know we aren’t dating but you sound jèàlóûs,” Rowen said.

“I’m not jèàlóûs, I just wanna know who’s calling you” Emma replied.

“Anyway it’s my mother, let’s go and pick up the call, baby” Rowen said and dragged Emma.

“Hey you are leaving me here for someone else,” Austin said with a pout.

“f×¢k you man!” Rowen said giving him the middle finger.

“Let’s go in,side, I think I’ll also steal you from your boyfriend” Austin said. “No way!” Nadia replied and burst into laughter.

“It has been a long I spoke with my mum, I just feel like picking up her call today,” Rowen said and clicked on the answer button, he dragged the phone to his ear waiting for his mother to talk first.

“Rowen!” That was the only thing the caller said.

“Mum!” Rowen replied and Mrs. Hunt sniff out tears.

“Why are you crying mum?” Rowen asks concern written in his voice.

“You’re making me cry Rowen, why will you do something like this to me? Why will you leave me! You and I know that you’re my only child, did you wanna kîll me?” Mrs. Hunt asked.

“Mum it’s not my fault, you and your husband forced me to leave the house, you guys are making Chicago miserable for me, I can’t walk freely because I’ve you guys,” Rowen said.

“Rowen come back to the house, I’ll never disturb you again, in fact, don’t get married again, I want to be seeing you by my side every day, I missed you, my love,” Mrs. Hunt said.

“Mum I don’t think I can come back” Rowen replied.

“Why was it because of your father?” Mrs. Hunt asked.

“Now you know” Rowen replied.

“Don’t worry about your father I’ll talk to him, he also missed you, we all missed you, please come back?” Mrs. Hunt said.

“I’ll think about it” Rowen replied.

“You don’t need to think about it, where are you? I’ll come to pick you up myself” Mrs. Hunt replied.

“I’ll come back myself mum” Rowen replied. “Please come back, don’t Marry again, I won’t ever disturb you again, just come back to me,” Mrs. Hunt said.

“Okay, I’ll come back when your husband change, I’ve been doing you guys’ wish since, it’s high time I start doing what I like” Rowen replied.

“I know I’ll talk to your father, but please always pick up your calls anytime I call you,” Mrs. Hunt said.

“Alright I’ll, bye talk to you later,” Rowen said and end the call.

“She really Missed you,” Emma said.

“I know and I also missed them like màd” Rowen replied.

“I also missed my parents most especially my fight Buddy Mr. Maxwell” Emma replied.

“Should we just go back?” Rowen asks with a smile.

“Go back! No way my parents want me to get married” Emma replied.

“I’m ready to marry you, let’s go back, my father will be very happy if I told him I’m ready to get married,” Rowen said.

“Don’t tell me your parents have also been bugging you to get married?” Emma asked. “Now you get, they’ve been disturbing my life to get married” Rowen replied and Emma burst into laughter.

“Let’s get married,” Rowen said. “In your dreams, let’s go in,side,” Emma said. “Please!” Rowen pledge.

“Let’s talk about something else, I don’t like talking about marriage, getting married have been my biggest fear, it’s good I don’t talk about it” Emma replied.

“Alright ma” Rowen replied and they both entered the club.

“What took you guys so long? Miss Maxwell don’t tell me you’re planning to take my wife away from me?” Austin asked.

“It’s not bad if I steal him from you” Emma replied.

“That’s not possible!” Austin replied.

“Emma!” Nadia called pointing to a corner. “What happened to him?” Emma asked and stood up immediately.

“Where are you going to?” Rowen ask. “I’ll be right back” Emma replied.

“I’m here now! What’s our first plan?” Brittany asked with a smile. “What took you so long?” Dora asked.

“Are we here for some questions and answers?” Brittany asked with a frown.

“Let’s go! I’ll tell you once we get to a safe place” Dora said and Brittany left out a smirk.
