🍕 DIANA 🍕

“Mom.” I said as she walked in with Uncle John.

“My Baby. How are you?” She asked in tears walking up to me.

“I am fine mom. Stop crying.” I said trying not to burst into tears right in front of her.

“I’m so sorry.” She said sitting on my be-d and holding my hands.

“For what? Mom I am yet to know what is going on.” I said and she looked at Uncle John.

“Uncle John please tell me what is wrong with me. I nee-d to know. If Mom can’t tell me, at least you can.” I said and he nodded walking up to me.

“Diana someone put something in your drink yesterday. You were poisoned.” He said and my mouth opened.

I tried to speak but nothing came out of my mouth.

“What? How is that even possible? I took the normal drink everyone took. Are you sure?” I asked and he nodded.

“I am very sure Diana. The doctor said so. We nee-d you to remember who gave you a drink at the pa-rty.” Uncle John said and I sighed.

“I can’t remember anything Uncle John. I can’t remember someone giving me any drink. I took every drink from the servers, the tray.” I said racking my br@in to remember.

“Don’t worry Diana. We will know the bastard that did this to you.” Mom said and I nodded holding my head.

“Where is Isaac?” I asked.

“Making Enquires. He will be here soon.” She said and I smiled.

“Mom I am so sorry for putting you through all this. I was so careless yesterday and took any drink.” I said in tears.

“No Diana. Everyone could fall victim, what I don’t know is why they are trying something bad against you.” Mom said and I sighed.

“I hope Isaac gets something from his enquiry. Whosoever did this to me as to pay for it.” I said and they nodded.

“They will surely pay.” They replied and the door of the ward opened again and Isaac walked in.

“Isaac.” I called happily as he approached me smiling wi-dely.

“Hi Diana. Your visions are clear now?” He asked and I nodded.

“I can see you clearly.” I said and he ki-ssed me on my li-ps.

“How are you feeling now?” He asked.

“Better. Just that, I can’t still think of the reason why someone would think of killing me in my mother’s pa-rty.” I said looking sad.

“I think I know the answer to your questions.” He said and I furrowed my brows.

Just then the door opened and I saw Mother walk into the ward with tears in her eyes.

“What is she doing here?” I asked angrily.

“Diana please calm down okay?” Mom said and I had to cool my temper a little.

“My daughter.” She called in tears and I stared at her fighting back the tears.

“Don’t call me that.” I said in a shaky voice.

“I am so sorry. I know who may be behind the poison.” She said and we all looked at her with our eyes wide-ned.

“What? Why should you know the person that wants to kill me?” I asked feeling paranoid.

“Because I am the cause.” She said and I looked at her with great confusion.

“What are you talking about sister?” Mom asked.

“Tell her to stop speaking in parables, I nee-d to un-derstand what is going on!” I yelled and Isaac held my hand.

“Diana please calm down. She will explain, let her explain.” He said and I nodded reluctantly.

“Thank you Isaac. I suspect someone Diana. His name is Klaus.” She said.

“Who the hell is Klaus!” Uncle John asked.

“Klaus is my husband’s brother.” She replied.

“Which of your Husbands?” I asked sarcastically.

“Your stepfather Diana. Klaus is his brother.” She said and I scoffed.

“And why would someone I haven’t seen in my entire life try to kill me?” I asked.

“Because he wants Revenge. The two brother were all over me but I loved only one. I loved Elisha more than Klaus, though we have been friends for a very long time.”

“Klaus was so obsessed about me and wanted me to himself. But when I chose Elisha over him he said he was going to make me suffer by taking my happiness away the same way I took his.” She explained.

“Why yesterday? Why is he coming now? Where was he before. And why me? I am not Elisha’s daughter.” I said and she sighed.

“He knows I love you so much.” She said and I smriked.

“No you don’t. Why don’t you go tell him that you abandoned me for more than 14 years and chose your family over me. Maybe Tron will be his next target.” I said.

“Diana.” Mom called.

“Please ask her to leave Mom. This is too much.” I said shutting my eyes. I heard her stand up and walk out of the door.

“Diana.” Isaac called and I hu-gged him tightly.

“I am here because of her love life. Why did he pick me?” I asked in tears.

“We will find out. It’s possible your father knows this Klaus. I nee-d to do more investigations.” He said and I nodded.

“I will help you with that. Don’t worry Diana, whosoever is Klaus, we are bringing him down.” Uncle John said and I nodded smiling.

“Thank you.” I said not releasing Isaac from my grip.

“Enoch I nee-d to be somewhere now. Don’t make any troubles when I am gone.” I said reaching for the door.

“Mom where are you going? You ignored my question all through yesterday and now you aren’t telling me where you are going. That’s too weird.” He said and I sighed.

“Enoch, something came up last night and I had to attend to it.” I said.

“That’s what you keep repeating! What exactly happened!” He yelled.

“Fine! Diana took poison at the pa-rty, now she is laying on the hospital be-d looking very pale and I am going to visit her.” I said and I saw shock on his face.

“Why didn’t you tell me since yesterday mom?” He asked.

“Because I didn’t know who to suspect. You two have never been in good terms. You could have tried something stupid.” I said.

“Mom are you serious? You suspect me to have Poisoned the lady I love?” He asked and I furrowed my brows staring at him.

“What? What are you saying?” I asked in confusion.

“I love Diana mom. I just get pissed anytime I see her with that lowlife Isaac.” He said and I sighed.

“You know quite well Diana loves Isaac.” I said and he nodded.

“I know, and I know she could love me too it I act nice to her.” He said approaching me.

“And you think she would love you after everything you have done?” I asked and he stopped.

“Are you taking Isaac’s side or what? Cos since I noticed the drama between you two you have always taken his side. Don’t you want my happiness? The only person that can change me is Diana, and you and I know that that’s what we want. For me to change.” He said.

“So what do you want to do now?” I asked sighing.

“I am going to the hospital with you.” He said.

“What? No! Isaac and Diana will freak out when they set their eyes on you.” I said trying to talk him out of it, but it seemed not to work.

“I have it un-der control mom. Let’s go.” He said walking out of the house. I followed behind him knowing his prese-nce at the hospital may bring disaster.

I could just drive to another place, but something keeps drawing me close to Isaac. So I can’t bail out now. I will just have to calm Isaac down about Enoch’s prese-nce.

We got to the hospital and I climbe-d down along with Enoch.
“I can’t wait to see her mom.” He said Happily.

“And I can’t wait to see Isaac punch you in the face.” I said walking into the hospital.

“Are you taking his side again?” He asked but I ignored him and headed to Diana’s ward.

I looked in,side through the door and I saw her family all in,side with her. Even her mother Caroline was there.

I breathed out before opening the door and walking into the ward.

All eyes fell on me and when I saw Isaac I smiled, and he also has a faint smile on.

“Good day.” I said approaching the be-d.

“Good day Mrs Danielle I guess.” Caroline’s sister rita said and I nodded.

“Yes. I am here to see Diana. Hi Caroline.” I said and she replied me with a smile.

“Diana how are you feeling?” I asked.

“Better thank you Mrs Danielle.” She replied and the door opened revealing Enoch.

“Why is he here? To mock us?” Isaac asked angrily.

“No Isaac. I am here to say Hi to Diana, and to apologise for everything I have done to both of you.” He said and I smiled.
Isaac looked at me and I nodded.

“He is sorry.” I said and he breathed out.

“Diana is here.” Isaac said making way for him to come closer.

“Hey pretty.” He said and Diana smiled.

“I can’t believe you are this gentle. What Happened Mrs Danielle?” Diana asked furrowing her brows.

“A change of heart happened.” I replied and she smiled.

“I like the sound of that. Thanks for coming.” She said and he smiled.

“The plea-sure is all mine.” He replied and we all had smiles on our Faces.

“Mrs Danielle, can I speak to you for few minutes?” Isaac asked and I nodded.

“Sure.” I replied walking out of the ward with him.

“I am so sorry about how I acted last night. I was so paranoid, I nee-ded revenge.” He said and i smiled nodding.

“I un-derstand you very well Isaac. And I didn’t take any offence. Of course you should suspect me, I am the stranger who poke her nose everywhere.” I said and he laughed.

“Not at all. I thought it was Enoch, but we finally got a suspect.” He said.

“Really? Who?” I asked eagerly.

“Klaus.” I replied.

“Klaus? Elisha’s brother?” I asked in shock.

“Yes, do you know him?” He asked and I nodded.

“I was once caught in their middle before. We will talk about that later, right now we nee-d to be with Diana.” I said and he nodded reluctantly walking into the ward with me.
