One of the scariest thing I hate is thunderclap.
It makes me feel like the house is about to collapse, like there will be an earthquake
making me feel so insecure.
“Don’t let me go please ” I begged him as I circled my hands on his wa-ist.
Though I was afraid of the thunder but then being so close to Jayden like this is a
dream come true.
I wish we can stay like this all day.
I slowly withdraw myself from his body and face downward.
“Are you okay now? He asked with concern as he touched my cheek.
“Yes…… I am fine” I stuttered.
“Okay, are you feeling sleepy? He asked
“Yes” I replied rubbing my eyes.
“Okay then, you can go to bed we will continue tomorrow ” he said and I smiled.
He is being so sweet tonight.
I stood up and straight my gown.
“Good night Jayden ” I said and walk out of the room.
Since he have permit me to call him by his name I feel like I have known him for
long.
He is not grumpy like I thought.
I climbed downstairs when I remembered Runa gosh she won’t be happy at all.
I went to the kitchen and sat down on the chair.
I dial her number and await her to pick up.
📱 Fool I thought you forgot to call 📱she blast me over the phone.
📱 Come on I forgot, I was busy with something📱 I said and sigh.
📱 Okay so tell me, how has it been there 📱she asked.
📱 Fine, am doing great here 📱I replied.
📱 Can we see then? 📱She question
📱There are rules guiding his house Runa, no visitor is Allowed in except his
visitors I might lose my job if you come.
📱 Not to worry maybe I will ask for permission 📱I retorted.
📱 Thats good, see ya I want to pack the breadfruit that I’ll be selling tomorrow
morning 📱She stated.
📱 Okay good night 📱I said and hanged up.
“Who are you calling? A voice asked in my back I was startled.
I turned and it was one of the maids Brenda.
“Humm its my friend Runa, I’ll be on bed now good night ” I replied and quickly
left the kitchen.
I went to our room and change into a big shirt and lay on the bed.
I couldn’t stop myself from smiling, Jayden is not whom I thought he is.
He is more friendly than I thought.
The thought of him alone makes my heart flutter.
I can’t just love him less but too bad we are two worlds apart.
Only if dimmme true.
I drifted into sleep much to my oppose.

My alarm woke me up as I stood up lazily and dragged myself in,side the bathroom.
I wash my face and damp it with my hand towel.
I stare at myself in the mirror as event of last night started fresh in my memory.
That awkward position I wanna stay like that for what ever.
She just made me smile.
I went out of the bathroom and picked my phone to see Nana’s missed calls.
Gosh maybe she has brought her mom, I need to be at the hospital immediately.
I rush back in,side the bathroom and enter the bathtub.
. after having my fill of good refreshing bath I came out of the bathroom applied
lotion on my body and wore my cloth..
I combed my hair.
After I was through I headed downstairs the first person I saw was Jiso.
“Good morning Jayden ” she greeted
“How was your night? I asked
“Great what about yours? She asked
“Cool, am on my way to the hospital ” I announced and she made an o sound.
“Is there an emergency? She asked.
“Well, doctor Nana’s mom is sick I’ll be attending to her this morning ” I explained.
“See you later” I said and walk out.
I wish I could stay back and keep staring at her face all day.
It would have been fun but saving Nana’s mom now is my main priority.
I drove in,side the hospital and park my car.
Then I went straight to Nana’s office.
“Is she here already? I asked
“No Jay, I couldn’t make it but I promise to come with her tomorrow, that was why
I was calling your phone earlier today ” she said.
“Oh, okay then I have somewhere else to go.
Call me when am needed, tell Kim to check up on his patients before he lose his
job” I instructed before leaving the hospital.
Can’t believe I wa-ist my energy for nothing.
I drove back to the mansion and went in,side the house.
“Sir you’re back, I’ll bring your food in a jiffy” she announced and I nodded.
I went up to my room and change into a black loose shirt and a sweat p-nts on.
I boot my PC and a video call came in.
Gosh Danielle won’t let me rest
“Sup bro”
“Good Danielle, just stressed out ” I said and she scoffed
“When you keep working in that hospital as if your life depends on it, bro come and
help dad with the business ” she said but I was not ready to listen.
“I’ll when I want Danielle, don’t lecture me” I said and hanged up on her.
She really wanna spoil my mood this morning.
The door bell rang and I opened it with the remote.
Jiso dropped the food on the table and bring out a can water from the fridge.
“Thanks” I said and closed my PC while I focus on devouring the meal.
She was looking at me, how I eat with class and smiled.
After eating I cleaned the side of my mouth with the towel and drank some water.
I was still contemplating whether to ask her this question but I just have to try.
“I love your cooking skills” I praised her and she smiled.
“Will you be my friend?

“What? I asked to be sure of what I heard.
“Will you be my friend? He repeated himself again.
Who in his or her right sense won’t want to be friends with him?
He is handsome, rich, intelligent and above all kind and sweet when he want to.
“Of course Jayden we’re friends already ” I retorted with a smile.
“Thanks “he said and I nodded before leaving the room.
My heart keep getting closer and closer to Jayden each passing second, I feel like am
gonna die I lg I don’t let my feelings known to him.
hærd to admit but am crazily in love with Jayden, this clumsy maid is in love with
the professor of Changan hospital, the heir to the Choi Empire, how silly I am.
He won’t even look my way, not when the likes of Nana who is beautiful and
intelligent is around him.
But not to worry, he is my friend at least that is an achievement.

Jayden have really changed alot.
Ever since I know him he used to be a serious workaholic but now seems like
something is disrupting his thinking.
I wonder what it is, I just want him to feel loved again though I don’t know his ex
but he told me about her in his drunken state of mind.
Gem did hurt him alot and he’s being reserved because he doesn’t wanna get hurt
again.
I hope he find love soon, at least he will be happy again.
I picked my phone and dial his number.
📱 Daniel 📱he called
📱 Jay, what’s up bro 📱I asked
📱 Everything is fine” 📱he replied
📱Are you inviting me over foe dinner? 📱I asked.
📱Soery Dan I forgot, let it be tomorrow okay?
📱Alright bro, wanna hit the club too” 📱I said and he chuckles
📱 Okay but be careful, your woman is watching ” 📱he cautioned and I laughed
📱 Come on Jayden, she’s many miles away there is no way she’s gonna find out ” 📱I
replied
📱Okay am hanging up He said and disconnected the call.
Jayden can be funny at times, mehn I can be naughty but really not a womanizer.
THE CHOI MANSION
Danielle and her mother we’re sitting in the garden with magazine in her hands
while her mom was scrolling through her phone.
Suddenly she stopped what she was doing and face Elle.
“Elle “She called
“Yes mom” Danielle answered without looking
“Is Jay seeing abt woman presently? She asked and Danielle dropped the magazine
on the table.
“No mom, and why should he? They all are probably after his money” Danielle spat
angrily.
“Nit every woman is like Gem Elle, though I didn’t expect that from that girl she is
from a respectable family “her mom explained
“Well mom the thing now is who is this girl that will love him wh0leheartedly
without any ulterior motives? And also is Jay ready to fall in love again?
I think you should be able to ask him those questions” Danielle said.
Her mom was speechless truly there is a point in what her daughter just said.
Is her son still suffering from heartbreak?
“I hope you’re wrong Elle ” her mother replied before entering the house.
