“What!!!…..” Iris and Naomi shouted at a time and when Brianna finish explaining.

“What’s the problem?” Brianna remain unmoved by thier reaction.

“You mean he said all that and you still turn him down?” Naomi said, unbelievably.

“You really rejected him?” Iris asked again.

“What if he his lieing? We all know he his a jerk and I’m ready for any heartbreak!” Brianna said, sitting in their middle.

“You should have simply tell him you’ll think about it, that’s too harsh I must confess” Iris said seriously.

Brianna look at her.

“You’re the one that told me he doesn’t do love except he want to get under a girl’s pant…”

“Did he hiccup when he tell you all that?” Naomi suddenly said and Brianna faced her.

Kingston entered the house and Kayden and Kai rushed to him at once.

“How is it? What did she say? Did she accept you? Are you guys a couple now?” Kayden asked, in a rush.

“Did she believe you? Your hiccup stopped, that’s mean you’ve tell her about your feelings right? What’s was her response?” Kai added.

“Out of my way?” Kingston glared at them coldly and they both pave way for him to pass.

His hands remains tucked in his pocket till he got to his room and slam the door behind him.

“What’s the meaning of that cold face? Does that mean he got rejected….” Kai said, and almost broke into laughter but Kayden hit his head.

Sabrina sneaked out of her room, avoiding Isadora as usual. They have not been in talking terms since she found out about the money and she is not ready to tell her about it.

She was holding a bag as she tiptoed to the sitting room. She wore her shoes and started sneaking out.

She held the door knob and just when she was about twisting it, she heard the devil’s voice.

“Where did you think you are going?” Isadora said from behind and she bit her lips before turning back.

“I need to return something…” Sabrina said.

“Derek’s money? Did you get it already? All of it?” Isadora asked.

Sabrina nodded.

“Can you tell me how? Do you went and sleep with some married men for money or what?”

“Mum, I don’t have time for this….let’s talk when I get back ok?, Bye!!” She waved and stormed out.

Ariel got downstairs and sighed when she saw Craig was still not done. He was playing with his cereal at the table.

Actually, she was going to drop him off at his school since it’s not far from hers. She is already running late and the driver is also waiting.

She went to sat next to him.

“Craig, what’s the matter with you? You’ve been pacing I pick you up yesterday?” Ariel said and touch his hair.

Craig drop his spoon and face her.

“Do you remember my new friend I told you I recently met at school….” Craig asked.

“Yes, Alex right?” Ariel smiled.

Craig nodded.

“So what’s wrong? Did something happen to him?”

“His parents are getting divorce and he his always sad in class” Craig pouted and Ariel sighed softly.

“His dad found out that he his not his real son and, he got angry, Alex is not happy and I’m sad too cos he his my friend”

“You’re such a little sweetheart, is that why you refuse to eat your food?” Ariel asked and he nodded.

“Don’t be, I’m sure Alex dad will come around…They won’t divorce if they truly love each other and it’s doesn’t matter if they are related by blood or not, what’s matters is the love they shared…”

“What if I’m not Dad’s real son too, I’m going to cry if he abandon me?” Craig said.

“Don’t say such, You’re his real son….you resemble Bunny so much and that only means we’re related…” Ariel assured him.

“Com’on stop thinking about it and eat your food now…” She added and Craig began eating.

Vincent finish singing and Seraphina began clapping.

“Whao, your voice is so good!!” She smiled and Vincent force a smile too.

He got to her and she hand him a bottle of water.

“Are you planning to sing tomorrow? It’s the annual school competition….”

“I don’t deserve to” Vincent cut her off.

Seraphina gave him a confuse look.

“You’ve been acting weird, is something wrong?” She asked, worriedly.

Two days has passed and it’s felt like 2 months already, she has not at sets her eyes on Kingston since the rejection and strangely she is missing him Badly.

Some noise suddenly distracted her thoughts and she looked up.

Brianna removed her cap and dipped her entirely face in the running tap, for few minutes before.

She raised her head, her short hair sticking to her face so much as a result of the wetness.

The cafeteria scene replayed in her head again and she suddenly started regretting ever saying those hurtful things.

FLASHBACKS, 2 DAYS AGO~AUDITORIUM

“I didn’t feel the same way….” Brianna dropped the bombshell.

Kingston gulped down emptiness.

“You are….joking right?” He stuttered.

“Does it look like I’m joking? I’m more than serious..You must have misunderstood me cos I act as if I cared, I was only doing it out of pity… I’ve never felt anything for you , Keep your love to yourself, I don’t need it” Brianna said, without blinking.

Kingston felt his hearts shattering to millions of pieces immidiately she said that.

He let go of her and left the auditorium like that.

BACK TO PRESENT

“Was I too harsh?” She said to her reflection in the mirror in front of her as if it’s will respond.

He his really going to start ignoring her.

She sighed and walked out. She was still lost in thought and didn’t know when she bump into a chest.

She almost went down but he got her.

“King….ston…” She stammered when his face came to view.

He let her go and started walking away but she rushed after him and block his way.

“What?!!” He asked, codly.

“Can we talk for a minute….

“No!!!” Kingston declined immidiately. He took the other path, walking off.

“Please, it’s just for a few minutes….i have something to say” She shouted after him and he stopped walking.

Then, he faced her.

“Uhm, you see….I just want to ask why you’ve been ignoring me?” She lied.

“I don’t owe you any explanation…” He answered meanly.

“You said it yourself, we aren’t friends right?” He said and Brianna blinked.

She didn’t have any answer so he start leaving again.

She run after him and he didn’t stop until they got to a Class.

“Kingston….”Brianna shouted, catching up with him.

Kingston stopped and turned to her at once.

“Why do you keep following me if you have nothing else to say? You don’t feel the same way right? I accept it already, so please stay the hell away from me so I’ll get over you quickly” He shouted back, not hidding the hurt in his face.

“You didn’t mean it right?” She ask slowly.

“Does it sound like a lie to you? I’m not hiccuping?” He walked out on her and she stood in a spot for few minutes before running after him again.

A girl bumped into a Kingston on his way out and she almost apologize but Brianna showed up at that time.

“Can I borrow a kiss from you?” He whispered to the girl and he didn’t wait for her response before claiming her lips.

The girl eyes widened but it’s nothing compared to what Brianna was feeling right now.

The crazy kiss continue and Brianna felt a big wave of jealousy, running through her veins as she watched.

Right now, the kind of anger she was feeling as no boundaries. She could murder the girl right now and there.

She wished she could turn back and leave quitely but the way the girl was devouring every corner of his mouth make her loose it.

She matched to them and turned girl around, she landed a defeaning slap on her cheeks and fell on her butts.

“How dare you use those filthy lips of your to kiss what’s mine? How dare you witch!!!” She made to pounced on the girl and began beating her but Kingston pulled her back.

Though, she was stronger but he was still able to stop her and the girl use that opportunity to run off.

“Don’t you dare show your face to me again or else I’ll kill you” Brianna shouted after the girl.

Sabrina was running so much without looking back,she knows if Derek’s men caught her, she is dead for sure.

The chasers walked passed the are, luckily they didn’t check the place. Immidiately they were out of sight he let go of her and she raised her head.

His face came to view and he turned out to be Adrian.

They smiled and left.

It’s was a short red gown, it’s looks almost like a bikini cos it’s revealing so much.

“It’s cool, but I love the fifth one cos it’s more revealing…” Daphne giggled shamelessly.

“You think so? I really can’t wait!!!” Alexa smiled.

“Is this really necessary? I mean it’s just a dance….do you have to work yourself up so much?” Hailey looked up from her phone.

“Excuse me, I didn’t bought all this for the dance, I don’t even need to dance before I’m crowned the winner….I mean I’m Alexa Briggs, one and only president heiress…I bought this clothes for the photoshoot with my Kingston, finally I’ll be able to make him mine, I’m so happy” Alexa gushed and Hailey shaked her head.

She stood and left for her room.

“You really cared so much this girl, are you related or something?” He said, smilling as he watched something on his phone.

Iris entered Brianna’s and rushed to her bed. She is still sleeping soundly.

“Anna!! You’ve to wake up” She tapped her slowly.

Brianna didn’t budge and Iris eyes catch her eyes, traces of tears could still be seen.

She obviously cried till she fell asleep.

“Brianna…” She called again.

“She’s still not awake?” Naomi said, coming in.

“Yes” Iris replied and Naomi hand her a big box.

Iris raised her eyesbrows.

“What is this?”

“Someone left it in front of my Dorm, it’s says it’s for you….your name is there” Naomi replied, and sat next to Brianna.

“Sleeping beauty, you’ve to wake up….you don’t want to loose to that b*tch do you?” Naomi tapped her and Brianna slowly opened her eyes.

“What’s wrong with your face? Did you sleep at all? Your beauty is slowly faded….Did you forgot today is the day you have to put that slut in her place….”

HOURS LATER~AUDITORIUM

The hall was filled with crowd of students. Different outfits, shoes and even make ups.

Boys or girls, no one is left out….who wouldn’t want to watch the real competition.

Since no one from other club has ever won except from the Dance team, what’s the excess of participating.

And the winner is always Alexa, or no one.

The song was jamming out of the loud speakers do much and everyone couldn’t help but dance along with the contestants.

Brianna was being dressed up by Naomi and Iris in the dressing room. They successfully forced her into participating.

She doesn’t look happy and her face does not look sad either. She seems to be thinking about something only her knows.

Iris gritted her teeth as she felt numerous eyes on her dress. Who wouldn’t turn back to look at such dress.

Some couldn’t hold thier laughter and some were even taking pictures.

“You caused this to yourself, why did you have to put it on now?” Naomi said, mockingly.

“It’s says I have to put it on before the show or else I’ll loose the role, once I found out who is behind this, He his going to loose all this teeth” She said and Naomi laugh.

“Our next contestants is very own Savage tomboy, let’s welcome Brianna Morris….” They heard Miss Alicia announced on the stage.

“What!! I though Brianna is the last to perform?” Iris puzzled.

“What did you think? Alexa is going to manipulate this again, I bets she is not going to perform….and she will still be the winner” Naomi hissed.

“I’ll just do it, I’m ready anyway”Brianna stood up, already walking out.

“Do you think she will be fine?” Naomi asked, concernly.

“I hope so!!!”

Brianna dipped her head to the running water and raised it after a while. She gets some tissues to rub off the makeup from her face.

She just finish dancing and she didn’t even wait for the result to he announced before leaving. She can’t win against Alexa anyway.

She finish removing the make up and stare at her bare face in the mirror.

“He said he was going to watch me but I guess i was wrong!” She said, remembering that very day.

“You still wouldn’t twerk for me?” Kingston said, breaking the long silence.

“Why would I?” Brianna glared at him.

“I’m still going to watch it on the day of the competition whether you like it or not!!” Kingston said, mockily.

“Seriously?” Brianna scoffs.

“Of course, I won’t miss it for the world….” Kingston smiled.

BACK TO PRESENT

“But you did miss it!! And it’s all my fault” Brianna sniffs, fighting back her tears.

Her phone suddenly chimed and she brought it out from her pocket.

It’s from Kingston.

Her eyes widened when she saw so much text from him already, when did he sent it?

She read the last text he send and she was scrolling through the pasts once when another one popped in.

She pockets her phone and rushed out of the restroom.

She got to the rooftop and truly he was there waiting.

She had to catch her breath before walking up to him.

“Why did you ask me to come here?” She said and Kingston turned to her.

“You still have nothing to say to me?” He replied and she blinked.

“You took off your dress already, too bad I want to see how it looks on you!”

“What did you expected, you didn’t show up…”

“I was actually there, I told you I won’t miss it for anything” Kingston said and her eyes widened.

“I’m sorry for acting like a jerk yesterday, the truth is I was not in my right sense and that’s the only thing I thought of, maybe to ease the pain I was feeling after the rejection….I’m sorry, can you forgive me?” He said and she remain silent.

“You’re the first girl I’ve ever fell in love with,and I just have to accept this is just a payback for all I’ve done to other girls , I don’t consider thier feelings before dumping them, if you forgive me this once,I promise to get over this feelings so you won’t feel uncomfortable around me…..I’ll stop loving you even if it’s hard….

“Who said you can stop loving me?” Brianna cut him off.

“What did you mean?”

“I’m saying I love you too you fool!!! I’m madly in love with you, why can’t you see it…
