CHAPTER 13&14

“Don’t leave me for her” Heaven repeated and there was silence.

“What are you talking about? Her?” Lamia asked.

“You mentioned her name” Heaven replied.

“Let’s go together,you can’t leave me here anyway” she added.

“How did you get here on your own?” Lamia questioned with raised brows.

“I followed someone here” Heaven replied.

Lamia sighed and held her hand before he started walking out of the garden.

“Hey! Come back here you dumb vampire!! Stop!!” Natasha screamed as she ran after Damon all around until she bumped into Lamia and Heaven,their connected hands unlocked and Heaven almost fell down but Lamia was fast enough to catch her.

“You should watch out where you’re going” Lamia said to Natasha as she helped Heaven balance on her feet. Natasha looked at Lamia angrily.

“And stop screaming unnecessarily” Lamia added and gave Damon a short glance before walking away with Heaven.

Natasha fold her fist angrily,glaring at Lamia.

“Are you okay? You didn’t get hurt right??” Damon asked.

Natasha faced him.

“The bracelet” she muttered,opening her palm and Damon gently dropped the bracelet he took from her on her palm.

Natasha walked away.

HEAVEN’S ROOM**

“We are here” Lamia breathe out as they entered the room. Heaven smiled at let go of his hand.

“Thank you,I owe you one” She said.

Lamia pushed his two hands into his pockets.

“What will you give me in return?? Apple?” He asked and Heaven chuckled.

“I guess” she said.

“I don’t really like apples tho” Lamia muttered.

“Oh” Heaven bite her lips.

“I’m leaving,bye” Lamia said and walked out before Heaven could talk again.

Heaven smiled and fell on the bed,but was interrupted immediately by the door that opened again.

“Tell me what’s going on” Cat-Girl grinned and dropped Luna on the floor.

Heaven groaned loudly.

“Come on tell me,I’ve only seen Lamia entering your room,I don’t think he enters anybody’s room aside yours” Cat-Girl said.

“I can say we are friends” Heaven took her lips in.

“I guess you don’t want to tell me,by the way,are you preparing for tonight?” Cat-Girl asked.

“What about you? You’re going against the ice girl” Heaven said.

“Oh Winter,well I don’t really care if I don’t win,I will just make sure I don’t get hurt either,but I’m worried about you instead” Cat-Girl said.

“Don’t worry about me,I might not win,but I won’t get hurt either.” Heaven smiled.

Cat-Girl carried Luna,the cat meowed loudly and jumped on Heaven on the bed.

“Aww cutie,I’ve missed you” Heaven said,rubbing the fur.

“I can’t wait to see you as a sorcerer” Cat-Girl faced her and Heaven smiled.

“You can fall sick and I will be one” Heaven said and Cat-Girl laughed.

“I hardly fall sick tho” She said.

VILLA PASSWAY**

Damon lean on the wall as he smoked his cigarette. All he was thinking of at that moment is Lamia,the fact that Natasha shows more interest in Lamia than him make him mad.

“Dude,I’ve been searching for you” Chase said as he walked closer.

Damon puffed out his smoke and dropped it on the floor,he stepped on it and sat down.

“Are you okay?” Chase sat down next to him.

“I hate him” Damon muttered.

“Let me guess,Lamia?” Chase grinned.

“I don’t want to hate him…..but I badly do. Especially when he keeps getting in my way,getting all the praise like he’s some god,should I just suck up his blood??” Damon murdered.

“Thought he doesn’t have blood” Chase chuckled.

“What the f**k is he without blood? I hate that we both breathe the same air,and what is it about him that curls love so much?” Damon hissed.

“Is this about Natasha? So you like him?” Chase asked.

“He’s getting in my way” Damon muttered.

“So,what are you going to do? He will keep on being in your face” Chase winked.

Damon smirked.

At that moment,Ruben walked past them.

“Hey” Damon immediately called and Ruben turned back.

“What” He asked.

Damon got up and moved a bit closer.

“About tonight’s duel” he said and Ruben raised his brows

“What about it?” He asked.

“Wanna fight Lamia first while I do the finishing?” Damon asked.

“You think he’s going to win against me?” Ruben asked with a scoff.

“Even if you are stronger,can you let him win?” Damon asked.

Ruben looked at him closely.

“What are you planning??” He asked and Damon smiled.

“Are you interested?? I can tell you what I’m up to if only you’re interested” He said.

Ruben kept quiet for a second before nodding.

“Okay” He said and Damon smiled.

“Okay,deal sealed.” Chase clapped.

TRAINING HALL**

It was with aggression,how Natasha was operating and jumping around while using her sword for her invisible enemy,the sound of her sword hitting the air could be heard too. She stopped for a second and Lamia came to her mind.

*You should watch out where you’re going*

*And stop screaming unnecessarily*

She started the fight again until the door suddenly opened,Natasha stopped and turned to see Lamia coming in,also with a sword in his hand.

She looked away from him and continue her training.

Lamia sat down on a seat,watching her sweating tiredly.

“If you have nothing to do here,take your eyes off me” Natasha muttered without looking at him.

“People get turned easily when fighting the air” Lamia said.

“It’s my tiredness,not yours” Natasha muttered.

“I’m saying…….”

“Just stop talking to me already!!!” Natasha yelled and dropped her sword loudly. She faced Lamia with a glare.

“Stop it,you can’t just come back to talk to me after getting mad at me because of a slight mistake just because of a a girl” She said and went to grab a bottle water,she uncapped it and drank everything at a go.

“Wanna make me your training enemy?” Lamia asked after the short silence and Natasha faced him.

“I’m done training,you can have this place to yourself or invite your best friend to join you” Natasha said and picked her sword.

“Hey,I wasn’t even mad at you like you said,I didn’t yell at you like you’re doing now,I only said you should watch out,and then I asked you to stop screaming because I literally heard you right from the garden,I told you about my ears,I almost died when your high voice hit my eardrum,I came out of the garden because I thought something happened to you,I thought you got hurt,only to find out you were just…..geez” Lamia roughed his hair.

“You’re the only one who makes me talk this much,I can’t believe I just said all that at once. You can go if you’re still angry,I’m tired of talking already” Lamia said.

Natasha rolled her eyes.

“Fine,I’m going” She said and started walking out,she suddenly stopped and turned back to Lamia.

“You really won’t stop me?” She asked.

Lamia scoffed.

“I’ve said more than I should say today,I don’t have strength again” he muttered.

“Even to be my training enemy?” Natasha asked.

“If you want” Lamia said and Natasha smiled.

“Fine let’s do this” She said and walked back to the middle,Lamia also stood up and moved closer.

“Please don’t make me talk this much again,I’m almost loosing my breath” He said,drinking water.

“That wasn’t my fault” Natasha mumbled.

Lamia dropped the bottle and unsheathe his sword.

“Let’s go” He muttered and Natasha smiled.

“Okay” She said and made the first attack at once.

NIGHT★ARENA**

The light of the arena was shining so brightly,as a result of the work of Bryant. The students each sat down,waiting for when the duel will begin. The three masters still walking around as if inspecting.

“Who are the ones not here yet?” Master Liam asked.

“Natasha” Winter said.

“I’m here!! Sorry!!” Natasha said as she rushed to join them.

Summer scoffed and rolled her eyes.

“Then without wasting time,we will start immediately” Master River said and everyone was quiet.

“I’m sure y’all are ready”

“Yes master!” They chorused.

“Then…..let’s start with Skylar and Speedy” Master Liam said.

Skylar was the first to get up with her sword,Speedy also followed and they entered the duel space.

“Make sure you don’t fight with your personal feelings and in the process hurt your mate,clear?”

“Yes master” Speedy and Skylar said at once.

“You start at the sound of the bell” Master Liam said.

Master Lilith hit the bell at once and the fight started.

“Who are you betting on?” Eugene asked Lamia.

“She’s winning” Lamia muttered.

“Who?” Eugene asked.

“The one in the black outfit” Lamia replied.

“Speedy? How did you even know?” Eugene scoffed.

Lamia kept quiet.

Speedy and Sykar’s swords meet at a time,causing a loud sound and they both fell on the ground but also got up at the same time.

Skylar attacked first,she strike forward and made a snap kick toward Speedy’s jaw. Speedy slapped the leg down and dodged the sword coming her way too,in the process,she spin to her back and kicked her from behind making her fall on her face.

“Ouch” Eugene muttered.

Skylar tried getting up but then let out a soft cry.

“What’s wrong?” Speedy immediately asked.

“My ankle” Skylar said,holding her leg.

“Are you okay?” Master Lilith asked.

“I think her ankle got fractured” Speedy said,helping Skylar up.

“Then,we can announce Speedy as the winner” Master Liam said.

“Ohhhh!!!” Speedy screamed happily while the rest clapped.

“Wow,she really won” Eugene muttered and Lamia let out a short smile.

“I don’t want to go next” Euenw said.

“You’re scared?” Lamia asked.

“Oh come on,scared of who? I’m not,I just want to Watch more” Eugene said.

“Next on the list are…Lamia and Damon” Master Liam said.

Lamia got up and walked to the space but Damon was nowhere to be found.

“Where’s Damon?” Master Liam asked.

“I don’t think he’s here,Ruben can take over for now” Master Lilith said and Ruben came forward at once.

The sound of the bell came and the fight started.

“I’m sure Lamia is winning” Winter grinned beside Natasha who said no word,she only focused. It didn’t take a minute before Lamia won.

“I knew it!!!” Winter screamed as everyone clapped.

“That’s weird” Natasha muttered,her eyes still On lamia who also seems surprised that it was over as they started but the others are too excited to reason that.

“Is Damon back yet??” Master Lilith asked.

“I’m here” Damon said when he arrived.

“Can’t predict this time” Winter said.

“Keep quiet,you’re loud” Summer muttered.

At the sound of the bell,Damon and Lamia both charged on each other.

The first attack ended into an engage,their sword blades both came in contact and there was a short stop,both opponent staring into each other’s eyes.

The arena was totally quiet,everyone was interested in the fight.

Lamia wrapped his sword around Damon’s own,trapping it so it doesn’t move,Damon glared at him angrily.

Lamia kicked his legs and pulled out his sword at once,Damon fell on the floor and he also got a slight cut in his hand. He got up almost immediately.

Lamia advanced toward him first,Damon also did the same,he jumped,coming with a strong strike of attack,Lamia immediately covered with his own sword and the swords came in contact again,hitting and slashing loudly as they moved fast against other.

Damon continue going closer to Lamia in the fast combat while Lamia kept moving back,but Damon didn’t stop,he was getting the upper hand,he made a fake movement of attack and Lamia blocked it giving him the opportunity to attack him for real,he slide his sword across Lamia’s shoulder giving him a direct deep cut. Red blood covered his cloth immediately and Lamia looked at his blood dripping down his arm before looking at Damon who smirked.

“I guess your green blood isn’t there tonight” He smirked.

“He’s bleeding” Natasha stood up from her seat,looking closely.

Lamia ignored his wound and continue fighting again. Damon tried giving Lamia another cut but seems impossible as Lamia guarded all well before making a counter attack,he pretended to smash Damon’s tummy but immediately sent a heavy punch on his tummy instead,throwing Damon from his balance,he fell on his chest heavily and his nose crushed the ground,he started bleeding.

Damon turned with every anger inside of him and threw his sword directly toward Lamia,before Lamia could do a thing,Natasha appeared in front of him and the sword penetrated right inside her tummy. Blood spilled out from her mouth.

Everyone stood up with a gasp.

CHAPTER 15&16

Everyone stood up with a gasp.

Lamia’s eyes widened watching as Natasha fell on the ground without moving.

Eugene immediately rushed to the scene,he placed his hand on Natasha’s tummy and the wound covered up,everyone let out a sigh of relief when Natasha opened her eyes.

“Are you okay??” Winter asked,helping her up. Lamia grabbed Natasha’s hand and dragged her away,everyone looked at them in confusion.

“Damon!” Master River shouted and everyone kept quiet,Damon stood up.

“You violated the rule!”

“I was……”

“You’re banned from every activities for three days and aside that,you will be punished greatly” Master Liam cut in.

“You deserve it,you seriously want to hurt him? So lame” Eugene scoffed and walked away.

“That will be the end of today’s duel,let’s meet tomorrow morning” Master Liam said and walked away,Master River and Lilith followed.

Everyone left,leaving just Chase and Damon.

“Are you okay…… ”

“I want to be alone” Damon snapped and left.

“Lamia!” Natasha screamed as Lamia dragged her.

“You’re hurting me!” She shouted and he released her hand angrily before facing her.

“Are you….angry with…..”

“Who sent you” Lamia cut in and she raised her brows.

“Can you just stop meddling in my business? Is it hard for you to do that?? You almost died…”

“I wouldn’t Have died” Natasha scoffed.

“I wouldn’t have died either!” Lamia snapped and she frowned.

“Now what,are you expecting a thank you from me! Should I hug and kiss you for saving my life when I don’t send you to do such sh*t for me? Is that what you want? Huh?”

“You’re hurting my feelings,I was just worried…..”

“Worry about your life alone and stay away from me” Lamia muttered and made to leave but Natasha grabbed his hand. She checked his wounds and found them gone.

“Why were you bleeding? You got me scared…..”

“I knew all along what he was planning,I allowed my blood to come out too,I know the f**k i am doing,so stop it and stay away” Lamia muttered and walked away.

Natasha bite her lips,staring at his back.

Winter appeared at that moment,she rushed closer when she saw Natasha.

“Hey,are you okay?” She asked and Natasha nodded.

“You should be careful,it’s a relief we have Eugene anyway” Winter said.

“I wonder why you’re nice to me when your sister and I don’t get along” Natasha said,walking toward her room,Winter followed her.

“You’re just like her,smart,pretty,brave,that’s why I like you” Winter smiled.

Natasha nodded.

“You don’t look happy,wanna have some fun?” Winter asked.

“What fun?” Natasha asked.

“Trust me,let’s go” Winter grabbed her hand and took her away.

PASSWAY**

Lamia let out a sigh as he sat down gently,he was almost regretting shouting at Natasha but she need to learn how to mind her business and stay away when necessary.

“Are you okay?” Heaven’s voice asked and Lamia turned immediately to see her sitting.

“When did you get here?” He asked.

“I was here,you just didn’t notice” Heaven replied.

Lamia sighed and looked away.

“I want to be alone” He muttered and made to get home.

“Are you angry with me?” Heaven asked.

“I’m not angry with you but myself” Lamia muttered and sat down back.

“Why? You didn’t do anything wrong” Heaven stated.

Lamia bite his lip and turned his face to Heaven.

“It’s late,let’s leave here” he stood up and held her hand.

“I want to tell you something” Heaven spluttered as she got up.

“What is it?” Lamia raised his brows.

“Actually…the truth is…even though I am blind,I get to find my way,I’ve been lying to you because I just…..want to stay with you” Heaven murmured and took her lip in.

Lamia kept quiet and released her hand.

“I’m sorry” she held his hand again immediately.

“You should go on and rest,it’s late” Lamia stated and she nodded.

“I will walk you to your room” He added,which made Heaven smile. They both left the Passway together.

RIVERSIDE**

“Wow,wait,I never knew there’s a river here” Natasha said and immediately rushed closer.

“Whoa” She got rid of her sneakers.

“Don’t tell me you’re planning to get inside” Winter made a cheesy grin.

“What else? Why did you bring me here?” Natasha asked,also taking off her socks.

“I found this place yesterday and I decided to just bring you here….. Nat!” Winter screamed when Natasha took off her clothes.

“This will Make me feel better” She winked and dived into the water at once.

“Ohhh!!!!!” She screamed excitedly.

“What the f**k” Winter chuckled.

“Come in” Natasha said.

“The water is definitely going to freeze when I enter” Winter crossed her arms.

“I don’t get cold easily” Natasha said and Winter smiled,she also got rid of everything leaving her underwear before jumping inside.

“Fun!!!!!” She screamed.

“Can you make some ice?? The other side,not here” Natasha asked,looking at the other side of the flowing river.

“Of course” Winter smiled,just by gazing alone,the flowing water froze and then turned to ice.

“Done” She said proudly.

“Great,now my turn” Natasha said,opening her palms.

“I can use my eyes to do this tho,but my hands seems to be idle these days” She said and stretched out her hand to the ice and the ice broke into pieces.

“Whoa!!!!” Winter screamed as the ice broke and splashed the water over them.

“That was satisfying” Natasha smirked and dived her head into the water,Winter also did the same. They both came out at a time,breathing heavily.

“That was amazing” Winter said,smiling at Natasha.

Natasha swam to the edge and got out of the water before sitting down,Winter joined her,their hair dripping wet. There was silence for a while before Natasha broke it.

“Are you sure you really want to be nice to me?” Natasha said.

“I like you” Winter mumbled.

“That’s new,people hardly like me and I’m cool with it” Natasha said.

Winter bite her lips.

“I should go,I need to sleep after. It was fun being with you” Natasha stood up and picked her clothes on the ground.

“Are you walking that way….”

“No” Natasha winked and vanished making Winter flinch.

“Why am I not used to that?” She muttered and started putting on her clothes back. After that she left for her room.

NEXT MORNING**

Lamia stepped into the training hall and found only Ruben inside,he was hitting the punching bag with his fists,the steps made Ruben turn and their eyes met. He turned back from Lamia instantly. Lamia walked closer to him and sat down on the available seat,Ruben didn’t bother looking at him as he continue punching the bag.

“Why did you do that?” Lamia asked in a soft voice.

Ruben stopped and faced him.

“What are you talking about?” He asked.

“You made a deal with Damon…..”

“So why asking when you know already? I never knew he was planning to hurt you” Ruben said.

“Are you his pet or something??” Lamia asked and Ruben frowned.

“What?…..”

“Why would you throw Away your chance of winning just because of a silly deal with Damon? Does that make any sense to you??” Lamia asked.

“Are you trying to pick a fight with me right now?” Ruben asked.

“No,coz I hate fighting and making silly deals with people,that’s dumb dude” Lamia said.

Ruben grabbed his collar and pulled him up with one hand.

“You’re making me mad” Ruben said angrily but Lamia maintained his cold face,looking at Ruben straight in the eyes.

“You should have used this same energy to decline when Damon brought up that silly deal” he said.

“Hey!!!” Ruben made to punch him but someone held his hand from the back.

“He doesn’t like fighting,but I do” Eugene muttered.

Ruben let go of Lamia who was still looking at him blankly,Eugene also released him.

“Stay away from me” Ruben warned and kicked something on the way before storming out of the hall.

“You okay?” Eugene asked.

Lamia adjusted his shirt properly.

“You don’t have to do that next time” He muttered and Eugene rolled his eyes with a sigh.

“Not this again,do you enjoy staying alone? Even if you do,what about people who want to be friends with you? You should at least try to be less cold and show some warmness at least,you did the same to Natasha….” Lamia looked at him and he stopped talking.

“I still like you okay? But you’re so cold that I get scared of your quietness sometimes,are you a deity or something? Is there a particular food you like so I can give you to make you smile at least?” Eugene asked.

Lamia ignored him and started leaving.

“Hey wait up!” Eugene ran after him.

Natasha stepped out of her room while trying to pack her hair,someone suddenly bumped into her.

“Oh sorry” The voice said and Natasha frowned when she saw Heaven in her usual white stainless robe and her blindfold.

“Seriously?” Natasha glared at her.

“Natasha?” Heaven called.

Natasha released her hair.

“I hate the way you call my name so softly trying so hard to be nice” She said.

“What are you talking about?” Heaven asked.

“Even if you’re pretending with everyone else,shouldn’t I be an exception? You can’t make me like you with your pity strategy just because you’re blind,I see you’re making Lamia like you,good for you he’s really into you and your pretence…….”

“Who said I’m pretending? I just apologized because I bumped into you,you’re hurting me” Heaven said tearfully and Natasha scoffed.

“Nobody is here dear Heaven,I’m not someone you can do that for,I’m a witch and you are a sorcerer,so stop this sh*t you are doing” Natasha said.

Heaven was beginning to cry.

“You are really a witch” She muttered.

“I’m not hiding that” Natasha smirked and moved closer to her,Heaven shifted back,Natasha moved closer again.

“Natasha” Lamia called from the back and Natasha turned.

“What do you think you’re doing?” Lamia glared at her and went straight to Heaven,tears was rolling down her eyes. Lamia looked at Natasha.

“What did you do to her?” He asked.

“Like I owe you an explanation,why don’t you just kiss her pain away?” Natasha hissed and walked away.

Lamia turned back to Heaven.

“What did she……..” He stopped when Heaven hugged him tightly.

He sighed and hugged her back.
