CHAPTER 35&36

“None” Lamia muttered and everyone was shocked.

“Really?None at all?” Sadie asked again.

“I don’t understand why you’re asking me that question,Natasha have Damon already and they look good together,are you trying to make Damon at me or something?” Lamia asked.

Eugene and Thatcher cracked up,trying to control their laughter.

Natasha let out a frown.

“Who said Damon and I are together?” She asked.

“Oh,you two are not together? You can start from somewhere then” Lamia said and everyone laughed.

“Yes thank you,we can definitely start from somewhere so don’t be jealous….” Damon said.

“Jealous of what exactly? Come on” Summer scoffed.

Natasha was trying to control the anger she was feeling as she looked at Lamia.

“Lamia,your turn” Skylar smiled.

Lamia kept quiet for almost a minute before he finally spoke up.

“I’m going to ask Summer” He muttered and Summer nodded curiously.

“Sorry,it’s not really a question” Lamia said.

“Go on” Summer encouraged.

“Continue being this way,it’s amazing. I wonder if it’s Eugene’s work…..”

“Hey” Summer cut in and Eugene chuckled.

“But I’m serious,you look more pretty when you smile” Lamia said and Summer scoffed.

“I’m so proud of myself” Eugene said and Summer shot him a glare.

“My turn” Summer said and turned to Heaven.

“Hey Heaven”

“Hmm?”

“What happened between you and Lamia?” She asked.

“It’s personal” Heaven and Lamia immediately said at once.

Natasha scoffed.

“Personal? And you’re not talking,Natasha too. I really don’t like it when we fight” Speedy said.

“We are not fighting” Lamia said.

“You told me to stop talking to you,but I apologized already. I’m still sorry tho,I will wait until you forgive me,I promise” Heaven said.

“I’m not mad at anyone” Lamia mumbled.

“Hmmmmmmm” Skylar and Speedy did that together.

NEXT MORNING**

AscNatasha and Winter were walking together,they noticed some students checking out something on the villa noticeboard.

“Let’s go check it out” Winter said and immediately grabbed Natasha’s hand before she could decline.

They got closer to the board.

“It’s a duet” Winter grinned.

“Wow,using our supernatural powers alone? No sword fighting” Winter read further.

“There’s a price” Natasha muttered.

“A Dark wish will be granted?” They both looked at each other.

“A dark wish will be given to the winner,that mean he can wish for anything anyone and it will be granted” Sadie said.

“I’m winning this” Natasha muttered.

“Seriously? You think you can win?” Speedy asked.

“I’m winning” Natasha said.

“You might,you’re strong” Winter said.

“Is Lamia a joke to you? Even though I want to win badly,I don’t think I can win against Lamia” Skylar said.

“That’s for you,I’m winning this” Natasha said.

“Good for you” Skylar chuckled and walked away with Speedy.

Winter looked at Natasha.

“This will be fun” She said and Natasha nodded.

“I wish I can win this for you” Cat-Girl muttered.

“Why would you win it for me?” Heaven chuckled.

“I know right? But I pray one of us win,I’m serious” Cat-Girl said.

“Me too” Heaven muttered sadly.

“Tonight will be lit then,all the people hiding their powers will be exposed….example…Heaven” Bryant joined them and Heaven smiled.

“Why are you so interested in my powers?” Heaven asked.

“Everyone is interested” Bryant said and winked at Cat-Girl.

“You look ugly when you do that” Cat-Girl said.

“How are your families?” Bryant asked and Cat-Girl frowned.

Bryant winked at her again before walking away.

Lamia was laying down on his bed,staring into the space. His door opened all of a sudden,Eugene and Thatcher came in.

“Can’t believe you’re here,you don’t even know what is going on” Thatcher said,closing the door.

“A supernatural duel tonight” Lamia muttered and they stopped walking.

“How did you know? You didn’t even come outside” Eugene said.

“I heard you guys talking about it” Lamia replied and sat up.

“From here? You heard us?” Thatcher asked and Lamia nodded.

“You’re winning then” Thatcher muttered and Eugene laughed.

“What do you mean I’m winning? We can’t underestimate anyone here” Lamia said.

Eugene scoffed.

“I don’t want to guess either,but I want either of us to win. Do you know what the reward is?” He asked and Lamia nodded.

“I think the master just want to see how powerful we are and how we control our powers,the reward will make everyone take it serious” Lamia said.

Eugene and Thatcher nodded.

“You got it right” Eugene muttered.

“I can’t wait for tonight then,I mean it’s gonna be amazing!” Eugene said excitedly.

MASTER RIVER’S OFFICE**

Master Liam appeared on the seat in front of master River and he groaned out.

“When will you ever listen to me and stop this? Walk through the door!” Master River yelled and Master Liam grinned.

“I love it when you’re angry” he said.

“Why are you here?” Master River asked.

“You called for me” Master Liam said.

“Yeah,I’m just wondering why you suddenly organized such powerful duel with such reward” Master River said.

“Getting them ready” Master Liam muttered.

“It will be like a training session tonight,I will monitor everything accordingly” Master Liam added.

“So will you really grant the reward?” Master River asked.

“Yes,since there will only be a winner,the reward will be easy to grant. I’m looking forward for tonight” Master Liam said and Master River nodded.

“Let’s see then” Master River mumbled.

NIGHT★AT THE ARENA**

As expected,all the students were present already. All sitted Accordingly while waiting for the masters arrival.

Damon sat down with Chase and Ruben,the three S sat down together,Sadie,Speedy and Skylar,they kept on talking about random things.

On the next line is Heaven,Cat-Girl and Bryant.

“I still can’t believe you,can you see any of the guys sitting with girls?” Cat-Girl asked and Bryant scoffed.

“It’s their choice,but sorry I’m sitting with you tonight” Bryant said.

“Do you like her or something?” Heaven asked.

“No,I only need her help” Bryant said and Cat-Girl glared at him.

“Okay,it’s a secret” Bryant said and Heaven chuckled.

The next line,Natasha and Winter sat down together in silence,none of them said a word.

And on the last roll,Summer sat down between,Lamia,Eugene and Thatcher.

“Why are they taking so long?” Summer groaned.

“You sound like you’re winning this” Eugene smiled.

“Even if I’m not winning,I’m not backing down anything soon” Summer said.

“You shouldn’t,stand strong till the end” Lamia said and Summer smiled.

“Sure” She muttered.

Finally the three masters walked in and sat down on by the table.

“The duel will start very soon,but before that I will explain the process to you” Master Lilith said and there was silence.

“You will come out one against one,after the fight,there will be just a winner and the second person who lost is out of the competition,the one who won will be allowed to sit down and wait for the other winners. After all the winners have been chosen,then you we start picking you one after the other again,one against one,the process will continue until we have just one winner….do we all understand?”

“Yes master!!” They all chorused.

“Good,listen to your names then”

There was silence.

“If it’s not againt Lamia,then I’m safe for the first round” Summer said.

“Oh please” Lamia groaned and they laughed silently.

“Sadie and Cat-Girl” Master Lilith called and immediately they both got up.

“Good luck” Heaven said to Cat-Girl before she left the seat and got in the stage center.

They heard the alarm.

Cat-Girl maintained eye contact with Sadie as they roam around,as If trying to get something. All of a sudden,Cat-Girl made countless unreal birds flying toward Sadie and everyone gasped in enjoyment.

Sadie stood still without moving,since the birds were only made to cobfuse her,before they could vanish,Cat-Girl made an invisible sharp claw and sent toward Sadie. Sadie stretched her hand at Cat-Girl and those unreal birds Cat-Gurl made started appearing again,Sadie made them real and they started attacking her.

“What the f**k” Bryant muttered.

“Stop” Cat-Girl commanded the birds and they stopped,she made them vanish and then looked at Sadie.

Sadie smirked at her and her hand started moving,everyone was curious and then it happened that she was drawing in the air,she drew a knife and the knife came to life,she grabbed it at once.

👥 WTH!!

Everyone gasped as she sent the knife to Cat-Girl.

Master River immediately destroyed the knife before it could hit Cat-Girl.

“Sadie won” Master Lilith hit the sound and they all clapped.

Cat-Girl bit her lips sadly and went to sit down,Sadie walked over to the seat made for the winners.

“Winter against Speedy” master Lilith called.

Winter and Speedy entered the duel center and they started.

Winter didn’t really wait for anything before creating an ice cage around Speedy,she made the cage so tall that Speedy bevame in visible.

“Hey!!!” Speedy screamed.

Winter smirked and broke the cage,they all fell on Speedy and she was thrown on the floor.

“Winter won”

Winter went to join Sadie,Speedy looked at her angrily before joining Cat-Girl.

“I wonder who’s next” Thatcher muttered.

“Chase and Ruben”

Chase and Ruben got up instantly.

“Start!”

Chase used his speed ability and ran to Ruben,it was not even up to a second before he captured Ruben,but Ruben who have the crazy strength ability was unshakeable,he twisted Chase’s arm and he groaned out.

He pushed Chase just softly but the super strength he has took it serious because the light push sent Chase flying and he landed heavily on the ground.

“Ruben won”

“Next up….Bryant and Summer”

“Good luck” Eugene said to Summer as she stood up.

She smiled light and left.

“Start!”

The first thing Bryant did was light up in Summer’s eyes making it difficult for her to her,it was too bright that Summer had to cover her face,giving Bryant the opportunity to attack.

He was about attacking,but Summer tutned ber back on him,she stretched her hands to the back and created a boundary with fire between them. The brightness stopped and Bryant couldn’t move.

Summer then faced him back and her eyes turned red,Bryant’s body started getting so hot.

He tried to endure but he couldn’t.

“Hey stop it!!” He yelled and Summer smirked ,she stopped uy.

“Summer won”

Summer joined the winners.

“Next….Eugene and Heaven”

“What the f**k?” Lamia mumbled.

“Is the master playing?” Eugene scoffed and left.

“Start”

“Can you see me?” Eugene asked Heaven.

“I can feel you” Heaven responded.

Eugene scoffed and snapped his fingers,some dark smoke oozed all over him and he transferred them to Heaven. But the moment these dark smoke got close to Heaven,they vanished.

👥 Whoa.

Eugene nodded.

“You’re really a scocerer” he said.

“Dark powers can work on me,do better” Heaven said.

She curled her palms against each other,opening something like a purple fire in her palms,but she lost count and before she could finish up,Eugene shone just black eyes on the fire and it explode on her instead.

“Ahh!” Heaven yelped and Lamia stood up with wide eyes.

“Calm down dude,she’s fine. It’s her source not Eugene’s” Thatcher pulled Lamia back.

“He was quite harsh,she’s blind” Lamia said.

“I’m sure Eugene took it easy in her” Thatcher said and Lamia sighed.

“Eugene won”

Eugene helped Heaven up.

“I’m sorry” He muttered.

“Its fine” Heaven smiled and Eugene went to join the winners.

“Next….Thatcher and Natasha”

Natasha didn’t allow Thatcher to think well before attacking with her red eyes and he a red rope tied him together.

“What the….” Thatcher blinked twice in shock.

Natasha point her palm at him and the rope started rolling him until he crashed on the wall and fell,his head bleeds.

“That’s painful” Lamia mumbled.

“Natasha won”

“We have three of you left” Master Liam said.

“One against one first,then the offer two can face each other” Master River said.

Lamia,Skylar and Damon stood up.

“Who is going first?”

Damon and Skylar stepped forward,Damon took her down in less than a minute then Lamia stepped in.

“Start”

“Its finally us again” Damon said.

“I’m not in the mood to talk” Lamia muttered.

Befure Damon could do anything,Lamia’s eyes shone on his eyes directly. A ball appeared on Lamia’s hand and he threw it at Damon,it landed straight on his head and that sent him flying,his head started bleeding as he hit the ground at the same time. The ball fell on the ground snd turned into a stone.

Everyone gasped.

“Lamia!” Master Lilith called in a warning tone.

Lamia rolled his eyes.

“Lamia won….”

“That’s unfair!! He cheated!” Damon shouted.

“If you were capable enough,you should have dodged it dummy” Lamia scoffed.

“We have seven winners now….we will start picking from random again”

The second round was tension filled,more than get finest

Lamia won against both Sadie and Winter.

Eugene won against Ruben.

Natasha won against Summer and finally it was the finally round.

“Lamia,Eugene and Natasha are the last standing” Master River announced.

👥 Whoa!!

The students started clapping.

“But unfortunately,as we said. We only need one winner,so the battle still continues” Master Lilith said.

“I’m giving up” Eugene spoke up.

“Why? Are you scared?” Master River asked.

“No,one of them will be exhausted if they face me,then it will be unfair for the person” Eugene said and they chuckled..

“Eugene is right,to play a fair game,He’s giving up” Master Liam said.

Eugene winked at Lamia and he smiled.

“Now we have Natasha against Lamia”

Lamia and Natasha faced each other,it’s definitely their first time being against each other. Their eyes never leaving each other.

“Start!”the masters announced and everyone was quiet as they watched.

Natasha was the first to attack,she pointed her palms at Lamia,and they released strong winds which was meant to sweep him off his feet.

The wind collided with Lamia’s body and they returned to Natasha,she was thrown off her feet and almost landed roughly on the ground but she was fast enough to control it with her eyes,she landed safely and turned to Lamia again.

She released another power from herself and at the same time,Lamia opened his own,as soon as the two strong powers met,it hit back on Natasha and she fell on the floor.

Lamia sighed out,he was hardly doing anything,he wasn’t Even using his powers at all. Natasha was glaring at him without getting up.

Lamia said nothing.

“Natasha,are you giving up?” Master Lilith asked.

“No” Natasha immediately replied and made to stand up but couldn’t even move. She looked at Lamia angrily knowing fully well that it’s him.

“What do you think you’re doing?” She asked.

“I might loose control of my power if we continue,I don’t want to hurt you” Lamia muttered.

“Lamia won”

“Yessss!!!!!!!!!!” The students all screamed out.

Lamia released Natasha and she got up angrily.

“Congratulations Lamia” Master Liam smiled.

“Thanks master” Liam bowed.

Master Liam got up

“I promised a reward before we started this competition,and now it’s time” he said and brought out a total black stone.

He placed it on the table and faced Lamia again.

“Wish for anything….” He said.

“Anything?” Lamia asked and Master Liam nodded.

“No matter how hard it is?” Lamia asked..

“Go on” Master Liam said.

It was totally silent in the arena,it took Lamia almost five minutes before he finally spoke up.

“I wish Heaven’s eyes become open” Lamia said and everyone gasped.
