CHAPTER 31&32

It was already so late,the night breeze had became even more cold,the trees were making noise from the blowing breeze but even at that Natasha was still waiting,she was sitting down on one of the huge rocks beside the river. Her whole body was filled with goosebumps and she already developed the cold.

Few minutes later,Lamia showed up,breathing heavily. His eyes grew wide the moment he saw Natasha,he actually wasn’t even expecting to meet her but he just decided to come the moment Heaven finally fell asleep.

“Ta….Tasha” He called breathlessly,his eyes on Natasha who looked back and their eyes met.

Natasha vanished from the rock and appeared in front of him.

“Tasha,I’m sorry…..I just…I don’t have any excuse but I’m sorry……..”

“You don’t have to be sorry…..it’s not bad making your choice,I think tonight made me realize that. I was Never your choice to begin with”

“No,that’s not true. I was on my way here and…..”

“So she’s more important than me! Exactly what I’m saying! You left me here in the cold,yeah I know,nobody forced me to stay but I waited because I have to tell you Lamia” Natasha said.

“I’m sorry……”

“Let’s stop it here” Natasha mumbled.

“What?”

“We have nothing to begin with,but the little one we have,let’s end it here” Natasha said.

“I don’t understand” Lamia uttered.

“Let’s stop talking to each other,don’t act like you know me from now on,I don’t want to be a third party anymore. I waited to tell you that” Natasha said and before Lamia could say more ,she disappeared.

Lamia bite his lips hard,his eyes made a noise the moment it became green. He immediately blinked twice and they came back to normal,he turned and started walking to his room slowly and sadly.

He entered his room and sat down on the bed,his face buried into his palms,but the silence didn’t last long before he started hearing different voices and screams,he could even hear people breathing in their rooms,the sounds from animals far away,that songs of birds,every thing coming from living things,he could hear them clearly,seems like it’s becoming worse this time around.

“Aghhh!!” He groaned painfully and fell on the floor,covering his ears but it only worsen and soon,his ears began bleeding. He closed his eyes,taking a hold of all the pains and after few minutes,it stopped. He removed his hands and they were covered with blood.

He sighed out loudly and walked into the bathroom,after he finished washing up and changing his clothes,he climbed on the bed,his eyes were opened. Not like he always sleep soundly anyway,he would wake up every minute from the voices in his ears.

His mind drift to Natasha and he let out a sad sigh.

NEXT MORNING**

Heaven and Cat-Girl were walking together along the pass way,Heaven held Luna in her arms and the cat stayed still,also looking around as they walked until Cat-Girl suddenly stopped.

“What’s up with you and Lamia? I saw him carrying you last night” She said and Heaven faced her with a smile.

“He carried me in,that’s it” Heaven said

“Why?”

“I hurt my leg…..”

“Really? Is it that bad? I didn’t notice” Cat-Girl said.

“No,it wasn’t bad” Heaven smiled.

“What? Don’t tell me you pretended” Cat-Girl said and Heaven nodded.

“Why did you do that?” Cat-Girl sighed out.

“He was on his way to meet Natasha” Heaven muttered.

“But,what if he find out?”

“He won’t” Heaven said immediately.

“Really??” They heard Lamia’s voice and they both turned at once.

“Flower……..”

“What do you mean by you pretended like you got hurt?!” Lamia snapped.

“Hey,calm down…..” Cat-Girl tried talking.

“Shut up” Lamia muttered and turned back to Heaven.

“Tell me what I heard wasn’t true,you didn’t really pretended all night just to prevent me from meeting Natasha…. ”

“It’s true” Heaven said.

“What??..why? How the h*ll did you even know I was going to meet her? How?” Lamia asked.

“I just know…. Somehow” Heaven replied.

Lamia nodded.

“I must have been a fool to believe you…..”

“That’s not true,I just……”

“How am I going to believe that everything you’ve always done weren’t lies?!! How!!” Lamia yelled at her.

“I just can’t believe you right now,what the f**k do you take me for? You have to lie so much to get my attention?…..” Lamia stopped and sighed out.

“I’m sorry….I just wanted to spend time with you” Heaven said almost tearfully.

“We are friends Heaven,I don’t think lying and pretending are really necessary for us to spend time together,I talk to you more than anybody here,I spend time with you and do things with you more than anyone,I don’t think I even talk to Natasha like I do with you,so why the f**k are you still…..”

“Because I don’t like it when you two are together” Heaven said and Lamia exhaled.

“I’m sorry……”

“I think we should stop talking to each other from here” Lamia muttered and made to leave.

“No” Heaven grabbed his arm but he threw it off.

“Don’t make me regret ever talking to you” He said and walked away angrily.

Heaven broke into tears and squatted,Cat-Girl immediately held her.

“Hey,don’t cry” She said.

“He said….we should stop talking to each other” Heaven said,brokenly.

“I’m sure he’s just mad at you right now okay? He will be back,trust me” Cat-Girl said but Heaven kept on crying.

TRAINING HALL**

Natasha was the only one in the hall training with her sword,she kept jumping and moving her sword duetly with her invisible enemy,her hair moving along with the wind and her speed.

She got distracted when she heard steps coming behind her and she stopped,she turned only to find Lamia. Natasha rolled her eyes and continue training.

Lamia stood in front of her,she faced somewhere else but he still blocked her.

“What do you think you’re doing?” She asked coldly.

“Can we talk?” Lamia asked.

“I’m sure I made it clear last night when I said you should act like you don’t f**king know me” Natasha said.

“I would do that if I don’t know you,but I do and I don’t want to top talking to you,can you just at least give me a chance to explain myself……” Natasha dropped her sword loudly on the floor.

“You can have the hall to yourself then” she said,glaring at him.

Lamia grabbed her hand.

“Don’t touch me!” She pushed him away.

“Fine let’s agree I made a shameless mistake yesterday,asking us to meet up is really the most shameless thing I’ve ever done in my life and I regret it so much,let’s say I did that,you should have told me you have no time for me Lamia,I’m sure I wouldn’t be persistent or force you to do what you don’t want to,but how dare you keep me waiting for another girl? Do I look like a fool to you? You clearly ditched me for her!” Natahsa shouted.

“Honestly,I have no excuse okay? But trust me,I was on my way coming to you……”

“Then she showed up as usual and you couldn’t resist her tears because they are your weakness” Natasha cut in.

“It’s not what you’re thinking okay? I just…….”

“Hey Natasha” Damon entered and Natasha smiled.

“I’ve been waiting” She said and glared at Lamia once more before taking her sword,she walked over to Damon and they both walked out of the hall together.

Lamia’s jaw clenched as he stared at their backs till they were out.

“What was that about?” Damon asked after the minutes of silence as they walked.

“What?” Natasha asked.

“Did that bastard did something to you again?” Damon stopped and Natasha held him.

“Stop acting as if you are stronger than him,he will beat you blue black” Natasha said.

“Oh come on,tell me what happened” Damon requested.

“Nothing big,just that we stopped talking to each other” Natasha said.

“Huh?”

“You heard me” Natasha said and walked more faster,Damon stood there smiling and then ran after her.

“So,you said you’ve been waiting for me ” he said.

“Let’s go to the humans world” Natasha whispers and Damon chuckled.

“What’s that?” Thatcher asked beside Eugene,they are both watching Damon and Natasha.

“Since when did they became so close?” Eugene muttered.

Soon after they left,Lamia showed up,walking.

“Hey Lamia!” Eugene called and they both went to meet him.

“Are you okay?” Thatcher asked.

“Not in the mood to talk” Lamia muttered and walked away.

Eugene and Thatcher exchanged glances.

“Did something happened between him and Natasha?” Eugene asked.

Thatcher was about to talk but then he suddenly saw Sadie walking.

“Let’s talk later” He said and ran after Sadie.

Eugene sighed out loudly.

Someone cleared throat beside him and he turned immediately.

“Hey” He smiled at Summer who only scoffed.

“What”

“Why are you standing here?” She asked.

“Waiting for you ” Eugene grinned.

“Liar” Summer scoffed and continue walking,Eugene followed.

“Where are you going?” He asked.

“It’s boring everywhere,I’m just walking” She replied.

“Do you wanna do something so badly?” Eugene asked.

“I don’t know” Summer sighed.

Eugene smiled and opened his palm,something like a needle came up and he snapped his finger at it,the needle multiplied and he sent them toward Summer,she immediately threw a ball of fire at them and they vanished.

“Hey!” She yelled at Eugene and he chuckled.

“At least you did something today” He said.

Summer crossed her arms and faced him directly.

“You seem to have alot of powers and abilities” She said.

“Yeah,it’s the work of my dark spells” Eugene said.

“Dark spells? Are you a wizard or something?” She raised her brows.

“Am I?” Eugene laughed.

“Be serious” Summer snapped.

“I don’t know okay? I got this from my late father tho,he have same powers as mine” Eugene said and Summer nodded.

“The only thing I have is the fire,but I can use it anyhow,I can just decide to make you so f**king hot and you melt to death without even burning” She said.

“Why are you using me as an example?” Eugene asked in a mutter and Summer laughed.

“Are you scared or something?” She asked.

“Of course,melting is way more dangerous than burning” Eugene said amd Summer laughed again.

“Scared cat” She said.

“Don’t call me that” Eugene said.

“Scared Cat” She repeated.

“Don’t say it again”

“Or what?” Summer asked.

“Or I will kiss you” Eugene replied and she immediately continue walking.

“Now are you scared of kiss that much?” Eugene chuckled.

“Shut up” Summer muttered and he laughed.

NIGHT**

Lamia was in the arena,it was all quiet and most students are already in their rooms,but yet Natasha and Damon aren’t back. Lamia was leaning on the wall waiting patiently for when they will show up,and then finally Natasha showed up,she saw Lamia and ignored him.

“Tasha” Lamia called and caught up with him.

Natasha stopped,staring at him blankly.

“What do you want?” She asked.

“What do I want? How can you be asking that question right now? You left simce hours ago and just coming,this isn’t the first time,do you know how worried I was…..”

“Keep your worries to yourself,I don’t owe you any explanation,stay away from my business!” Natasha said and made to leave.

Lamia grabbed her hand.

“Hey,let her go like she said” Damon throw Lamia’s hand away From Natasha and Lamia glared at him.

“What was that for?” Lamia asked.

Damon chuckled.

“I’m sure you heard her clearly,or do you have problem with your ears? Stay away from her” He said.

“You have no say to that” Lamia said.

“Really? Should I just make you realize what’s going on?” Damon asked and Lamia raised his brows.

“You might probably die after this” Damon smirked and held Natasha’s waist.

Right in front of Lamia,Damon slammed his lips on Natasha’s own.

Lamia’s eyes turned deeply green and the glare threw Damon from Natasha far away,his back hit the wall roughly and he fell on the ground,he coughed out blood.

“Damon!” Natasha screamed and tried running to him.

“Tasha….” Lamia grabbed her hand and immediately Natasha threw an heavy slap on his face.

“I hate you!!” She yelled and ran to Damon.

Lamia swallowed hard,watching how Natasha helped Damon up and hugged him.

CHAPTER 33&34

“Tasha….” Lamia grabbed her hand and immediately Natasha threw an heavy slap on his face.

“I hate you!!” She yelled and ran to Damon.

Lamia swallowed hard,watching how Natasha helped Damon up and hugged him. He sighed out and walked away without looking at their side again.

Natasha broke the hug and frowned at Damon.

“What” Damon smiled.

“Why did you do that?” Natasha asked.

“What? The Kiss??” Damon asked.

“I’m not joking with you Damon,why did you f**king kissed me? Why?”

“Did you reacted this way when Lamia kissed you??”. Damon asked.

Natasha ignored him and turned to leave but he grabbed her hand and pulled her back.

“I’m going to my room,goodnight” Natasha said.

“I don’t care if you’re using me” Damon said and Natasha looked at him.

“But use me well….”

“What are you talking about?” Natasha asked.

“You can hug me,kiss me,lay on me,do whatever you want with me…….”

“I’m not going to do that,don’t worry” Natasha said.

“But I want to do them all” Damon said and hold her hand.

“I will walk you to your room” he smiled at her.

Natasha said nothing and like that,they both went in.

NEXT MORNING★LAMIA’S ROOM**

“What?!!” Eugene and Thatcher screamed out in shock after Lamia told them everything that happened between him,Heaven and Natasha.

“She really slapped you because of Damon? Really?” Eugene asked looking pissed.

“That’s bad,how are you feeling now? Are you gonna continue begging…..”

“No way I’m letting him do that,she can go to hell with Damon for all I care” Eugene scoffed.

“I’m not apologizing again,I’ve done enough” Lamia muttered.

“It’s not even your fault,just forget about those two,it’s annoying” Eugene rolled his eyes and Lamia turned from checking his face In the mirror.

“I will just stay away from her like she said,maybe she enjoy spending time with Damon,I just wish she allowed me explain why I couldn’t make it,I never planned to ditch her or something” Lamia said.

“Yeah right,you even ran out of the training hall,but them Heaven happens” Thatcher teased and Eugene laughed.

“So you told Heaven not to talk to you and now Natasha asked you not to talk to her…..”

“It’s not that serious,I was just a little bit mad at Heaven,but I’m fine now” Lamia said.

“Great” Eugene smirked.

The three of them walked out of the room.

“I will meet you guys in the dinning hall” Lamia suddenly stopped.

“What? Where are you going?” Thatcher asked.

“Master’s office” Lamia muttered.

“Huh? Why?”

“Not something big” Lamia said and walked away .

Eugene and Thatcher also left for the dinning hall.

Natasha And Damon came into the dinning hall together and all eyes fell on them,they sat next to each other also. Skylar was the first to speak up.

“So now it’s Damon and Natasha? I’m still trying to get over Summer and Eugene” She said.

“What do you mean by Summer and Eugene?” Summer asked.

“You two suddenly became close” Speedy smiled.

“Damon and Natasha have been extra close since yesterday,are you two a thing now?” Bryant asked.

“You look good together tho” Chase winked.

Natasha kept quiet without saying a word,she only ate.

“Hey Eugene,where’s Lamia?” Heaven asked admist the loud talks.

“He will be here” Thatcher was the one who replied.

“Maybe he’s jealous of seeing Natahsa and Damon” Speedy said.

“I don’t think so” Eugene faked a smile and frowned again.

“Shouldn’t we talk about how today is going to be? I feel like going to Valerie again” Summer said.

“Me too” Natasha said.

“I don’t think the masters will allow that,they said we are on a break” Ruben said.

“We can just spy on the street without the masters knowledge” Heaven suggested.

“We can do something in groups and just go there” Damon said.

“The same way you always sneak out with Natasha?” Eugene asked.

“I don’t think that’s your business” Natasha snapped.

“Of course not” Eugene said.

“We are not fighting here,so what do we suggest?” Winter asked.

“How about we allow Lamia get here first?” Sadie asked

“Yeah” Heaven smiled.

“Why must we wait for Lamia? Is he our leader or something?” Damon asked almost angrily.

“Then you should have asked the master when he chose Lamia and Natasha to always lead anytime we have a mission” Heaven said.

“Natasha is here and we don’t need Lamia” Damon said.

“If we aren’t waiting for Lamia,then keep your suggestion to yourself” Summer said.

Natasha tightened her hand on the fork she was holding.

“Then,we should wait for him” Skylar smiled.

MASTER LIAM’S OFFICE**

“You mean you always hear things even from the farest place?” Master Liam asked and Lamia nodded.

“But then,these days,it’s getting worse that my ears bleeds and it hurts so much,I can’t even sleep” Lamia muttered.

Master Liam sighed and stood up from his seat,he started walking around the office,his two hands behind him,Lamia’s eyes followed him.

“You should release your stubborn spirit and learn to control your powers” Master Liam said.

“I don’t want this,I have enough already,it’s draining me” Lamia said and Master Liam faced him.

“Isn’t that why you’re here? To learn how to control your powers if you’re with other creatures just like you….”

“But it’s not helping at all,can you just do something” Lamia said.

“Nobody can help you Lamia,you have to learn yourself,keep focus. If you focus on what you want to hear and what you don’t want to hear,then you will conquer the pain,they are fighting to loose out but you keep on killing Master Liam said.

Lamia sighed and throw his head to the back.

“My ears……hurts like hell and my head bangs like crazy too.” He muttered.

“You will be fine,as long as you follow what I just said” Master Liam said and Lamia stood up.

“Thank you” He said and walked out of office.

He stopped somewhere and closed his eyes,he focused on what to hear like the master said and his ear traveled through the air capturing a particular sound…coming from the dinning hall.

“F**k” Lamia mumbled and immediately stopped,they were making too much noise than he could endure.

He followed the way to the dinning hall.

“Finally,he’s here” Cat-Girl said as soon as Lamia entered.

Lamia raised his brows as they all looked at him,he walked straight to the only seat available,just beside Heaven.

Heaven turned to him but then faced her food again without saying anything,Lamia also said no word. He looked up and his eyes mistakenly met with Natasha’s own,he looked away.

“We’ve been waiting for you” Summer said.

“Why?” Lamia asked.

“We are planning to sneak out and go to Valerie” Skylar said.

“But….what does that have to do with me?” Lamia asked lowly.

“You don’t sound like you’re interested” Chase said.

“I’m not” Lamia muttered and started eating

“But why?” Heaven asked without looking up.

“Me not going isn’t stopping anyone,not like I’m that important” Lamia mumbled.

“Hey,what do you mean? We decided to wait for you before we suggest and you still think you’re not important?” Eugene said.

“I’m not interested” Lamia said coldly.

“We can go without him,that’s if anyone is still interested” Natasha said and they all kept quiet.

“Maybe it’s better we just stay back” Sadie said.

“Yeah,if Lamia isn’t going,there must be something weird” Speedy said.

Damon scoffed and dropped his spoon loudly.

“I don’t understand,are you all here because of him or something?” He asked angrily.

“It wasn’t even a good idea from the start” Ruben groaned.

“But I want to go anyway” Heaven pouted and Lamia looked at her.

“Heaven,you look cute but sorry,no way” Bryant said and they all laughed.

Lamia got up and walked out of the hall.

“I think something is wrong with him,Eugene can you gist us?” Speedy asked.

“Focus on seeing the future please so we can know our fate at least” Eugene scoffed and Summer chuckled.

GREENE CITY★COPS STATION**

“Captain” Ares and Sylas walked into Kay’s office and she raised her head,she was actually taking a nap.

“Anything new?” She asked.

“The searching team just sent something strange from the woods” Ares said and Kay immediately sat down properly.

“What’s that?” She asked.

Sylas placed his laptop on the table in front of her and they played the video.

“Look at that drawing on the ground” Ares said and Kay looked closely.

“It’s confusing,they look like some teenagers,but why I the drawing so clear even when it’s on the ground?” Kay asked.

“Exactly what is weird,now look at this blood” Sylas said.

“First,why are the leaves on the trees gone? Then the blood….it’s still cold. Wait,does that mean the suspect killed someone in the woods?” Kay asked suspiciously.

“So where’s the body? Then why is the blood still so fresh? The team were there last night and still today,the blood is still the same,don’t you think this strange blood belongs to the beast who have been killing rather than a suspect?” Ares asked and Kay thought for a while.

“Is the blood under test? We should get a DNA done first” She said.

“Sure captain,we sent it to the hospital already” They replied.

NIGHT★ARENA**

All the students were together in the arena that night,it was so quiet even though thy were all there.

“Why’s nobody talking?” Speedy asked.

“How about we play a game?” Ruben suggest.

“Random questions?” Winter said

“That sounds like fun” Eugene and faced Lamia.

“Don’t dare say you’re not interested” He said and Lamia scoffed.

“Is everyone interested?” Winter asked.

“Yeah”

“I will start,and my question goes to Eugene” Winter said

“Okay” Eugene said.

“Are you a thing with my sister…”

“No,next person” Eugene said at once so sharply that everyone laughed,including Summer.

“I don’t think this is funny” Winter said.

“Of course it is,coz you already asked me” Summer said and Winter scoffed

“So,my question goes to Damon” Eugene said and Damon looked at him.

“Who do you like most here? Among the girls?” Eugene asked.

“Natasha” Damon said without thinking.

“I think we all know that” Bryant said

“The way he said it quickly is funny” Cat-Girl said to Heaven but she said nothing.

“Damon you’re next”

Damon faced Natasha and everyone became quiet.

“Hey Nat” He called and Natasha looked at him.

“What do you think about me?” Damon asked and Natasha raised her brows.

“Come on,answer him” Chase grinned.

Natasha’s gaze fell on Lamia but he wasn’t even looking up.

“You’re handsome” Natasha said to Damon and he smiled.

“Awwwwn Cute” Winter clapped.

“I think you’re the only one shipping them together here” Sadie said.

“No,I’m also rooting for them” Eugene smiled.

“Me too,I hope it work out between them” Summer said

“Me three” Thatcher smirked.

Natasha rolled her eyes.

“Natasha,go on”

“My question goes to……..” She stopped and then started again. “My question is for Sadie” She said.

“Oh wow” Sadie smiled.

“So….have you ever draw anything about me?” Natasha asked and all eyes fell on Sadie.

“Yeah,once” Sadie replied.

“What is it about?” Natasha asked.

“Nothing special,just you and a friend and I think it already happened and it’s really a past now” Sadie said.

Natasha nodded.

“My question Is for Lamia” Sadie said clearly and Lamia finally looked up.

“Heaven or Natasha” Sadie asked at once with a bright smile.

It was as if everyone was interested to hear what he was going to say,they all listened.

“In what way?” Lamia asked.

“Generally…Heaven Or Natasha” Sadie asked.

Heaven bite her lips curiously,Natasha was also quiet and then finally Lamia spoke up.

“None” Lamia muttered and everyone was shocked.
