CHAPTER 39&40

“What she have always done to me” Natasha replied and used his shirt to pull him closer before slamming her lips on his own.

Lamia’s hands slowly moved to her waist and he pulled her more closer as they both sucked each other’s lips deeply,and soon it was silent outside,Heaven left.

Natasha broke the kiss and Lamia opened his eyes with his brows raised up as if he was asking her why she broke it.

“She’s gone” Natasha muttered.

“What? You did that because of Heaven?” Lamia asked.

“She delayed you from coming to me also,it’s a payback” Natasha rolled her eyes and Lamia smiled.

“Were you really jealous?” He asked.

“Yes I was,happy now?” Natasha scoffed.

Lamia changed position and made her back the wall instead,he pulled her hair behind one of her ears as he looked down at her pretty face.

“Do you really have to be jealous? I don’t think you should” Lamia muttered.

“Why can’t I be? You always give her your full attention” Natasha mumbled in a cute voice.

“Okay,I must confess,I never knew you have such a cute low voice until now,when are you gonna shout at me?” Lamia asked and Natasha pushed his chest but he didn’t move.

“Get off,I’m leaving” Natasha said.

“You should end what you started” Lamia said and Natasha’s eyes widened.

“What do you mean? I told you that was nothing,stop thinking rubbish” Natasha pushed him away and Lamia laughed.

“You’re so cute” Lamia said.

“You’re so annoying” Natasha stick out her tongue at him before opening the door and left the room.

Lamia fell on the bed and sighed out,he bite his lips,he shut his eyes and slowly drifted off.

NEXT DAY★GREEN CITY COPS STATION**

“What do you mean by the blood sample is all gone?” Captain Kay asked as Ares and Sylas told her what was going on.

“That’s what the Doctor said…”

“How the f**k did that even happen?! How?!” She slam her hands on the Table and groaned.

She began pacing round the office.

“Is there no other way…..”

“Which other way? You just lost the most active evidence we can use to investigate who the f**k that monster is and you’re asking if there’s no other way?! Which other way?! The rain must have washed off the remaining blood and I don’t think there will be anyhow we can….f**k!!”

Ares and Sylas sighed.

“I’m sure if we calm down we might…..”

“You two should leave for now,I need to think” Captain Kay said.

Ares and Sylas immediately walked out of the office while Kaylee continue pacing,she suddenly stopped.

She remembered how she bumped into a strange girl while leaving the hospital the previous day.

“Who was she?” She mumbled.

“Yeah,it’s true that countless people visit the hospital everyday,but her aura was totally different when she bumped into me” Kaylee mumbled and quickly ran to her phone,she dialed a number and it was answered by Ares.

“Go to the Hospital and collect the CCTV footage from the entrance…hurry up!” She said and dropped the call.

“I’m sure something is weird” She muttered.

LIGHT VILLA**

Natasha stepped out of her room and closed the door,she wasn’t surprised because of the silence,probably everyone left for breakfast already. She turned toward the dinning hall and as she walked,someone crossed her and blocked her from walking further. Natasha frowned and looked up to see Heaven,crossing her arms and glaring at her.

Natasha scoffed.

“I was expecting this when he decides to waste his wish on you” She muttered.

“Are you angry because of that?” Heaven asked.

“Yes I am,you know I don’t pretend,I don’t liar like you so I rather tell you the truth than lying about being happy for you,so therefore,it was annoying” Natasha said.

“I’m not here for that anyway” Heaven said and Natasha raised her brows.

“I saw what you did last night” Heaven said and Natasha laughed.

“I never wanted to hide it from you,now I think it’s great that your eyes are opened now so you can see a lot of things,especially your crush and I,you will cry blood” Natasha said mockingly.

Heaven chuckled and moved closer to her.

“We will see who’s going to cry blood then,me or you. I’m just going to warn you once,stay away from Lamia and stop this game you’re playing,isn’t it obvious already that he’s not for you? Did my blindness transferred to you that you find it hard to see?”

“Why don’t you go and tell him that,tell him to stay away from me and let’s see what will happen,obsessed b*tch acting like the purest. I’m so ashamed that everyone here is blind to see who you are,but I’m waiting for the day Lamia will see your true color,I’m sure he wouldn’t believe it if I tell him you really stopped me to threaten me about staying away from him” Natasha said and walked away,hitting Heaven with her shoulder.

Heaven breathe out.

“Let’s calm down,she didn’t really said all that to me” Heaven muttered and also followed Natasha toward the dinning hall.

DINNING HALL**

Natasha walked in just when everyone started eating,Her eyes landed on Lamia,the seat next to him was empty,he also looked at her as if expecting her to come.

“Hey Nat” Winter called,tapping on the seat next to her and Natasha went there,Heaven came in afterward and took the seat next to Lamia.

“Hey” She smiled at him.

“Morning” Lamia said.

“Guys,don’t you think we need to talk about what is in front of us? ” Summer asked.

“Exactly,Lamia and Heaven should pause their romance for now” Cat-Girl said and Heaven blushed.

“What romance are you talking about” Lamia scoffed and Heaven rolled her eyes.

“What is in front of us that we have to talk about?” Bryant asked.

“The beast” Summer and Sadie said at a time.

“Why can’t we just have fun now and forget about that thing?” Skylar asked.

“There’s nothing like having fun,we are not here for that. If you had seen the beast,you wouldn’t be talking this way” Natasha said.

“That’s right,we need to forget about fun now and deal with the enemy first,we can have fun after that” Lamia said.

“The mission leader just spoke” Thatcher said and they chuckled.

Damon scoffed.

“So what is the plan?” Ruben asked.

“I don’t have enough chicken on my plate” Natasha siad and everyone laughed.

“Seriously that’s the plan?” Damon asked and they laughed again.

Lamia cut half of his chicken and pushed it toward Natasha.

“Have it” he said and Natasha looked at him.

“What about you?” Eugene asked Lamia.

“This is enough for me,she said she want more” Lamia replied and Natasha smiled.

“Lamia is just so caring and amazing,” Summer said.

“You said you hate him” Skylar said.

“I never did,and even if I did,it’s all in the past now” Summer said.

Heaven suddenly coughed out,Chase immediately handed over a glass of water to her. She ignored it,Lamia was watching that. Heaven bite her lips and kept playing with her spoon with her face down,she coughed again.

Lamia sighed and gave her his own water.

“Have it” he said and Heaven immediately took it from him.

“Thanks” she smiled and drank from it.

“Sorry bro” Damon whispered to Chase and he scoffed.

“Pride after sight is normal” Chase rolled his eyes.

“I have a feeling the masters are planning something” Sadie said.

“What have you been drawing? We can start from there” Eugene said.

“Some of us are slowly drifting away from the fate and purpose our masters told us about,we should be more focus now because it’s gonna be hot for us if we don’t prepare” Sadie said.

“Guys,what if the beast turns out to be someone close?” Winter suddenly asked.

“The beast is a supernatural being,so what if someone is under the mask of that beast?” Heaven asked.

“There’s no how that beast Is a mask,Lamia and I saw it with our two eyes,the beast is real” Natasha said.

“The only thing possible about it is that,someone is working under his shadow” Lamia said and all eyes fell on him.

“What do you mean?” Summer asked.

“I mean….someone might be controlling the beast and then hiding under the shadow of the beast,since no one will be able to capture the beast,even if they do,the real person controlling it will never be revealed” Lamia explained and there was silence.

“Do you really think something like that can happen?” Master Liam entered with River and Lilith.

“Good morning master!” They all greeted but Master Liam was focused on Lamia.

“It sure can happen,that’s if there’s a supernatural being that is really powerful and we don’t know about,probably you can know histories about powerful beings” Lamia said.

“People with supernatural powers don’t hurt humans anyhow,this is probably coming from the dark realm” Master Lilith said.

“I know,dark realm are mostly responsible for the downfall of humans,but at the same time,what if someone from the light realm have something against humans? Or trying to take revenge and came back as a beast or like I said,working under the shadow of the beast” Lamia explained further.

“What are you trying to bring out?” Master River asked.

“I’m saying,before we can think of capturing the beast which is ninety percent impossible,we should start by finding out who is controlling the beast,I’m sure there’s a someone somewhere,the beast isn’t natural,it is surely working for someone” Lamia said.

“I’m with Lamia on this,we saw him,the beast almost killed us but he didn’t,which is halfly an evidence that the beast is after humans,because if not,with such powers he would have killed us both totally in the woods. If the beast is just after humans,then he must have something against them” Natasha said and Lamia nodded.

Master Liam sighed and turned to Lamia.

“So,what do you suggest should be done?” He asked and Lamia’s eyes widened.

“Are you really asking me?” He asked.

“Of course,you came up with that. I couldn’t even think of all that as your master,so probably,you can come up with any ideas also” Master Liam said.

“Honestly….I have no idea” Lamia muttered.

“You do” Natasha said and Lamia looked at her.

“Like you said,there might once be a supernatural being who had a wrath against humans,from that….I think we should start by searching to see if there’s any being like that,we should be able to see in the history books” Natasha said.

“I think Natasha is right,let’s start from there first. Capturing the beast is like seeking for death” Summer said.

“Then,I’m giving you the assignment. Search for whatever you can search for…master Lilith will provide you with every books of history of supernatural beings that ever existed,from then till now,read everything and see if you will find something. I will pair you into teams before tomorrow,so once the books are available,you read and search with your team members,are we all good?” Master Liam adked.

“Yes master!!”

The three masters walked out.

“Now we are in trouble” Cat-Girl sighed out.

“This is the reason why we are here,to stop the dark realm from overtaking us,so quit complaining and get ready for tomorrow” Summer said.

“I want to be paired with Lamia though” Speedy said.

“Lamia,you’re really amazing.” Sadie said.

Lamia raised his head and his eyes met with Natasha’s own,she smiled at him and he returned the smile.

“Nobody come close to him” Eugene said and pat Lamia’s back.

Lamia walked out of the dinning hall after breakfast,Heaven appeared beside him.

“So,I have something to tell you” she said.

“What is that?” Lamia asked.

“I’ve been mastering my powers more….I found a book about soccerers” Heaven said and Lamia nodded.

“You should do that,I can’t wait to see you practice it more” Lamia said and Heaven smiled.

“I planned to show you first” She said.

“Hey,dude come we have something to show you” Thatcher and Eugene came over and dragged Lamia away.

NIGHTTIME**

Natasha was sitting down alone outside,she sat down on the bench staring at the bright full moon in the dark cloud.

“What are you thinking about?” Lamia sat down beside her and she faced him.

“When did you get here? How did you know I was here?” Natasha asked.

“I could hear you breathing from my room” Lamia said and Natasha chuckled.

“What were you thinking about?” Lamia asked.

“My parents” Natasha muttered.

“Ohh” Lamia mouthed.

“My parents also have supernatural abilities like me,I took after them,my mom is a witch and my dad is a wizard,according to what I was told I was a twin,I took after my mom as a witch and my twin brother was a wizard” Natasha said.

“So….where is your brother?” Lamia asked.

“According to what I was told,people like us were usually constantly persecuted,so along the run,my brother….was captured,my parents couldn’t do anything so they took me and ran away……they lived their years trying hard to hide their identity and they really succeeded,until my powers also started showing up and you know,the public must never see me,so,my dad must know about here,he was the reason why I came here….I just suddenly miss them” Natasha muttered.

“So.. You have no idea where your brother is?” Lamia asked.

“If he’s alive,he must really be taller than me now,but if he’s not…..then I guess I will keep regretting forever,because it’s all my fault. If we weren’t two,our parents would have saved their only child no matter what,but I ended up being the survivor” Natasha muttered.

“You really have this talent of blaming yourself even when you did nothing wrong” Lamia said.

Natasha faced him.

“What about you? Where are your parents?” She asked.

“No idea” Lamia said.

“Huh?”

“My foster mistress told me I was found in the woods” Lamia said and Natasha gasped.

“I guess my mom was scared of me when she saw that her child had green eyes and she decided to throw me away” Lamia chuckled.

“How can you be laughing in a situation like this?” Natasha frowned.

“My foster mistress told me,when I was a child,my eyes were totally green,I had no black eyeballs at all and so she had to hide me from other kids till I was six and the green eyes started coming out once in a while,she told me how I had no blood and how I cry from my sleep,complaining about noise even when nobody was talking….it was after I started growing up more that I discovered that the noises I always hear are voices from afar,not in my foster house…but then,I think they also got tired and scared of having someone like me with them,they asked me to leave and….I’ve been wandering around for a while before I found myself here” Lamia said.

“that’s……sad” Natasha muttered.

“I hate myself too sometimes,so I don’t blame anyone who abandon me….what if I’m a monster in disguise or….”

“Shhhh” Natasha placed a finger on his lips.

“If you’re a monster then I will like to keep a monster like you,,don’t ever think about that sh*t again” Natasha said and gently pulled him into a warm hug.

“I’ve never told anyone this,so think of it as our little secret” Lamia said,wrapping his arms around her.

“Sure” Natasha smiled.

Heaven was walking alone when he suddenly saw them,she became so furiously angry that she couldn’t control seeing Natasha hugging Lamia,her bright eyes turned totally black ,glaring at Natasha angrily from afar.

Natasha was still hugging Lamia but suddenly she pushed him off and before Lamia could ask what was wrong,Natasha coughed out blood.

“Tasha” Lamia’s eyes widened and she continue coughing out more blood.

“Tasha!!!!” He screamed as Natasha fell unconscious right in his arms.
